The she-cat winced as Lynxtail departed, saying his goodbyes and nuzzling her. Ivy felt her loneliness returning. "Goodbye, my love." She purred, with a faltering smile. "Goodbye, Ivy." Lynxtail purred, his tone strong. She felt uneasy as she thought of her dream, where everything had been destroyed and she had lost Mosspelt. She shook herself of the thoughts, and retreated to her nest. She curled up to sleep, and hoped not to have any more dreams.

Pochardpelt | Warrior | 56 Moons | Large, short-furred blue and cream dilute tortoiseshell with a mackerel tabby pattern. She has a white tail tip, and white flame-like marking on her chest. Pochardpelt's nose is blue with two patches of pink. Her eyes are a bright gold, and she has an old scar on her left shoulder. | Pochardpelt is very bold in battle, often moving before thinking which has gotten her into rough situations before. On battle she can be very talkative to try and throw off an opponent, but out of battle she barely says a word. She is very obedient to commands, and a pushover. If someone asks her to do something, it is almost guaranteed she will do it. On the other paw, she has a very strong sense of justice, and holds rules at a very high value. While her large size aids a bit in battle, it's her biggest downfall when hunting and often leads to her scaring off prey. Hunting usually frustrates her, but she will wait until she is back in camp to let her frustration out in the form of mock-hunting rocks, trying her best to improve. | Pochardpelt grew up in a small group of loners. The cats did help each out occasionally, but usually you were on your own for prey. Pochardpelt, then just Pochard, was the only surviving kit in her litter, and the only kit in the group until she was about 5 moons old. She could never really figure out how to get along with the two other kits as she was so much older and bigger than them. Once she hit 8 moons old, her parents found themselves expecting another litter, and they kind of neglected the young Pochard. Her siblings were born a couple moons later, but they were very obviously not from the same father as her, so her father left in the middle of the night. She tried her best to help her mother with the small litter of two, but she only knew so much about kits. Around the time she turned 18 moons, a dog attack fell upon the small group. They were a couple smaller dogs, but it let Pochard's battle instincts shine. She recieved a large gash in her shoulder protecting her younger sister, but her brother was killed by the other dog before she could get to him. Her mother was pretty battered, and wandered in her grief. A few days later, Pochard found her mother's body and buried it. She didn't have the heart to tell her sister what happened to their mother, but vowed to mangle any dog that dares threaten those she loves. When she was around 25 moons old, a mother fox tore through the group, decimating many of the cats. Pochard took her sister and they ran. They remained loners for many moons before stumbling upon CrystalClan. Pochard decided to join them, while her sister chose to continue traveling. Finally! Something that I can actually help with, instead of playing babysitter! He thought. He looked to his mentor who was till absorbed in the conversation with Frogshade, with a roll of his eyes, he looked to the warrior. "I'll check him out, and if I need Sunnysky, I'll send you for her." Sending a glance to Beetlepaw. "Don't leave that nest, or I'll claw your ears off." Sure he shouldn't be threatening patients, but he didn't trust the apprentice to stay in that nest with how he was acting earlier at the news he had to stay in the den, and Howlpaw would rather not have to see more herbs wasted on the mouse brained cat.



Sunpaw-Forest-Bubblepaw

He blinked looking to her, half forgetting that she had been there. He wanted to lie, but this had been the most the had interacted with one of his clanmates since the event and he just wanted someone to talk to. "Not really," he said, looking towards the ground as they walked. "I...I just don't like going out here with others anymore...not since my mom got taken." Sure everyone said it wasn't his fault, that she acted like a true warrior and mother, by protecting him from getting taken by the twoleg, but it caused for her to be taken instead. He couldn't even stand going around his littermates, worried they blamed him, as much as he blamed himself.

Stormtail padded into the nursery, a squirrel dangling from his jaws. "Good catch." Riverstone purred as he dropped the prey before her. Her stomach grumbled eagerly, and she began to scarf down the meal. "Thank you, I was starved." Riverstone croaked. Echokit nibbled at the squirrel, looking up at Stormtail as she did so. "Of course, anytime." Stormtail replied, purring softly.

Lynxtail trotted into camp, returning from visiting Ivy. His ears were still damp from her grooming him, and they twitched as the wind blew past them. Lynxtail sat quietly, before his gaze fell upon Eclipsestride who was grooming themself nearby. He padded over, plastering a silly attempt at a smile across his face. "Hello." He said, his tone eager yet rather gentle as he hoped to make a new friend.

Howlpaw flicked his tail, looking at the queen with his kits. "I'll get you some borage leaves if you want to help with your milk," he said to him. He was slightly proud he had been able to do this on his own, and maybe it would show Sunnysky he was ready to learn mor eimportant things that came from being a medicine cat. "They are beautiful kits Spottedtwig." He wanted to sy more, like Jaypelt would be proud, but the subject was still clearly a sore one with the queen, so he bit his tongue to prevent saying more.

Riverstone's attention turned to the commotion going on, as Spottedtwig looked over at their kits. "They're gorgeous." She commented, with a soft smile. Stormtail trotted in shortly after, his mouth full as he carried a vole along with a small bird. "Dinner has arrived." He said with a chuckle, as he dropped the prey before her. "Thank you." Riverstone purred, as she scarfed down the bird. Echokit stepped forward eagerly, sniffing at the vole. She scrunched her nose and turned her tail in disgust. Riverstone chuckled softly as she observed her kit, and shared a smile with Stormtail.
