it wasn't actually all that hard once I, ya know, stopped with the memes and inting my midgame for fun //shrug

I've also been playing a LOT of isaac recently. it's a good thing.

And Darkest Dungeon 2. Apparently the third boss is too random so they're reworking it? But I beat it first try cuz my luck was super good? idk I didn't even understand the mechanic of the fight properly, I was just upset that I couldn't actually beat the first phase and had to stall it out so that the game's softlock timer popped and let me move to phase 2 lmaooo

I've also been on a bit of a pokemon romhack kick again. Gonna try running insurgence again and see how that goes~ I also really want to finish a nuzlocke of renegade platinum if only because you can manipulate to get a growithe or houndour early which means I can take turtwig starter :) I'm def not going to play it blind again tho because not knowing roark's geodude has FIRE PUNCH is really upsetting to wipe to.

And on the real-life gaming side, I've been bowling a Lot. A few of my friends got really into bowling recently and joined a league and I go to a lot of their practices~ For being a gamer that is allegic to physical activity, I'm doin alright. My typical game now is ~130 cuz I struggle to pick up spares :( Seriously, I hit hard splits more often than I can grab the lone 5 pin it's quite horrible.

I also managed to get everyone to play laser tag !! I used to be a bit of a tryhard years ago (I had monthly passes and membership rewards for the competitive group in my area; I'd usually play 1-3 times a week for 3-6hrs) but I was never able to really convince friends to come with me before. Everyone had tons of fun tho and they have reduced prices for groups so hopefully I can get everyone to go 1/week and get back into it. I could really use the physical activity ;-; I was so sore after only 3hrs (and I wasn't even tryharding I was going slow). I will say that my acc is still on point (; 80-90% with over 200 shots is pretty dang good. I went one game really tryharding for acc and got a 113/124 or smth

but I also really want to try some of the fun challenge runs
but I don't want to use those to distract me from my main run
but I really want to do something faster paced
I also really want to try an artlocke
But I SUCK at art tbh
(I'm getting alright with designs like. Learning. But Posing and Shape is Hard)

I figured out how to use snipping tool straight to imgur and now I am all powerful. Time for an annotated isaac run <3

I gotta do the Boys(tm) FAST MODE. Also m. satan because BOTH my up and down runs had keys but I died before I could get there.... j&e suck. They're my last non tainted characters with achievements left tho so time to get done with it.

I thought I was screwed because I accedentally flipped instead of using nail so I only had One Boy to pretty much nohit greedier.
But of course I'm a god and nohit greedier (: I only had two red hp and a soul heart so yeah I had some wiggle room but hey if I CAN nohit him then I SHOULD right?

4.5v + friends + slipped rib = tears can't hit me. I also had metal plate and circle of protection just for funzies. Anyways, made the bullet hells a literal walk through. Had no dmg but eh. The first time I went to void I actually crashed the boss cuz I was taking too long and delirium is already glitchy af so I had to redo it but there was no threat of dying either time sooooo

I need to -eventually- get into Binding of Isaac to tickle my love for roguelikes. Been loving Gunfire Reborn though, and just picked up the 2 dlcs they made for it so can't wait to try em out 😅

I haven't really had to many issues with Gunfire yet, but I am only 60ish hours in and have only played Crown Prince so far. BUT I can pretty consistently get to the final zone on elite solo now so that's pretty cool lol

I'm going to level up Nona next I think, I'm absolutely infatuated with red pandas, and from what I've seen her skill reminds me of gaige's deathtrap from borderlands, so I'm pretty excited


Binding has always been on my list to play but I also have a gazillion games on that list so yeah 💀

I gotta save the rest of my money right now unfortunately 😭 but I'll definitely check it out

OOF. I know that struggle   I've done that so many times and I think I may do it again here soon. My wife and I were going to play through the Resident Evil franchise but that fell off QUICK. So I'm thinking about just running through them all that way I can make some space for *ahem* more mmo's

Satisfactory is very satisfying
We'll see how I like it once it gets to the later stages of the game because I tend to love factory building in the early stages and hate the rebuilding rebuilding rebuilding grind. Upgrades = good. Redesigning my entire factory from the ground up because I got an upgrade and the current setup is no longer the efficient build path = BAD BAD EVIL

broooos I've been playing so much pixelmon...

I was close to 100% dex on the last version but then the big version update came out
the qol and worldspawn changes on this version are amazing btw
not only is byg SOOO much better than bop, but the pokemon spawns are more evenly spread. "hoards" where the pokemon spawn in clusters are also an awesome addition. They also FINALLY made pixelmon work with journeymap (which I actually turned off, because it was TOO op!! I wanted to have the joy of finding rare spawns with my own eyes instead of seeing it on the minimap)

I got a really early exp all from a masterball loot (also loot spreads are so much nicer! And masterball loot grotto variation!! And BAGS!!!) so I'm doing rather well. My false swiper is excavlier this time, which is the first time I'm using this mon. Having only one weakness (even if it's 4x it's fire which is rare coverage), over half of the types are resists (including normal) + toxic immunity AND really bulky stats is kinda broken. Doesn't matter that I'm slow if nothing deals more than 5%.

Already sitting at a 25% dex including several ultra rare spawns I just happened upon. Including Throh which took me like, a 4hr grind last save file and hawlucha which can be a pain as it's a UR dawn spawn.

Once my party is a little more leveled (only my starter and escavlier are 50+) I'll probably up the legendary spawn rate so I can get them more naturally. I don't want it to be like last file where I pretty much finished the dex and then just had to afk farm legendary spawns. I don't mind grinds that take a while as long as they are ACTIVE grinds, but just. Afking for an event isn't skillful, it's just a waste of time; I don't feel guilty speeding that up LMAO. But not quite yet, because my party isn't strong enough to consistantly CATCH legendaries at lvl50/70 spawns so not gonna turn them up until I hit that breakpoint.

oh I also got three full odds shinies (at the gen 6+ 4100 odds not the 7000): skitty, hoothoot and magmar. So.... not the best group but hey it's better than my first file that got three hoothoots and a greedent as my first shinies lmaooo

I'm using the livingdex tracker (or will be, once I bother updating it) so if anyone's curious to "watch" my progress lmk and I'll dm you the link. I forgot how TEDIOUS it is to sort boxes </3 But I have a lot of practice, so at least I know by muscle memory which slot each of the 30 numbers go in......
