Sunsetkit
with skinkstripe, dovekit and cliffstorm Feathertalon swallowtail Sunsetkit yawned, the mention of her name waking her up. She gazed towards the source of the voice that mentioned her. "Hm," she muttered, stretching her paws out in front of her.
She trotted over to where Cliffstorm was. "Hello!" She turned to Dovekit, a big smile painted on her face. She narrowed her eyes mischievously before batting at her sibling's whisker.

BluepoolBluepool's eyes widened at the sight of the tom's trick. She was quite impressed. "Woah," she muttered, her voice lower then a whisper.
She tried to outrun Ospreyfeather; she didn't know how long she'd be able to keep this act up. She felt the hunter's soft fur brush against hers. Her fur suddenly felt hot; she knew this wasn't embarassment, but rather another feeling.
She gazed towards the striped tom's eyes. She felt shivers ripple through her body - they had a special glint in them. Bluepool felt like that glint was just drawing her closer to the tom. She quickly looked away, hoping the tom couldn't tell how she felt. That'd be embarassing, she concluded.

butterflypaw and algaewing in healer's den
"I think that's a great idea," Algaewing was saying to Kiwipaw, a similar light of enthusiasm in her eye. "Two birds with one stone!"
Unfortunately, it seemed their little experiment had to wait. While Kiwipaw addressed the two sopping wet apprentices, Algaewing had pulled Whitepaw off Butterflypaw's shoulder and was peeling off the cobwebs to examine the wound. While punctured and bleeding, the bite wasn't too deep, thank the Ocean. There was bad bruising quickly turning purple around the bleeding site, but from her initial assessment Whitepaw would only have to worry about some soreness for the next couple of days.
Butterflypaw, on the other hand, had superficial scratches and some bruising on her hindquarters, most likely from falling on it. She kept glancing at Whitepaw, worry clearly etched into her features.
"Kiwipaw, would you mind grabbing some neem from the back and chew it up into a poultice?" Algaewing called as she cleaned Whitepaw's wound. "We've got some pretty bad swelling." The rain had cleaned most of the blood off, and the initial cobwebs helped slow the bleed to a trickle.
"So what you're telling me is," Algaewing said, turning to face the two 'paws, "is that you went into sectioned off territory, fought a dangerous snake, and got yourselves injured?"
Butterflypaw bristled. "It was just out there stressing cats out with no cat doing anything about it! Besides, Whitepaw fought it to the death!" The admiration sparkled in her tone despite her defensive stance. "It totally bled out! I mean - I think it bled out, it crawled off into the bushes - okay even if it didn't bleed out we scared it off for good!"
Algaewing failed to hide her surprise, but kept a strict tone as she said, "You disobeyed your leader and you went out, by yourselves, without a scout or mentor, to fight off a boa and come back with only a bite and some scratches?"
She held them a stern stare for a moment before shaking her head. "Color me impressed." She stepped over to a nearby herb shelf to gather some comfrey. "Don't do that again, though. You're not as invincible as you think." Algaewing flicked her tail over towards Whitepaw. "And don't tell my father." A pause. "Your father. Our father." A longer, more awkward pause. "Anyway," she said, "let's get that bite treated, hm?"

KIWIPAW healers' den / with algaewing, butterflypaw, & whitepaw
"You attacked..." Kiwipaw's feelings of shock renewed. His eyebrows shot up and he gazed at them with eyes agog. He shook his head in disbelief and leaned over to take a look at her leg. A sudden, sharp intake of breath escaped him; he was not sensitive to the sight of wounds, but seeing them on someone he cared about made it harder to stay clinical. "Good thing Butterflypaw was with you," he murmured. "This could have been a lot worse." He hurried to the back of the den where they stored herbs as Algaewing gently lifted the injured apprentice off of Butterflypaw's shoulder. Muttering under his breath, Kiwipaw scanned the wide assortment of medicines for the white flowers. They were lucky: only two flowers remained. He collected them both just in case and returned to his friends.
"Here," he said, eyes watering from the oils in the plant. He set the bundle of petals down beside Whitepaw and sorted through them to paw them over to Algaewing. His thoughts mirrored the warrior's stern words. Why did he always have to be the responsible friend? If I had been with them, maybe they wouldn't've... he frowned. Well, if I had been with them I would've discouraged them from going in the first place.
Still, he lifted his head in surprise at Butterflypaw's recounting of their adventure. He exchanged an impressed look with Algaewing. If she's telling the truth, then they'll be heroes. They could even earn their warrior names from this. Kiwipaw sighed. "Why are you two crazy?"
He sniffed loudly and blinked, trying to clear his blurred vision, but it was no use. Without thinking, he reached up with one paw to rub his itchy eyes and immediately wanted to slap himself. The oils on his paw only worsened the watering and burning. "Ugh, these flowers."

WHITEPAW — with Algaewing, Butterflypaw - thejadestorm& Kiwipaw - TealravenFor some time there Whitepaw remained silent. It took a lot for her to not wince as Algaewing unwrapped the cobwebs that Butterflypaw had applied earlier. The area around the wound was tender, throbbing with heat and a dull pain anytime she moved or if another cat touched her leg. Concentrating on looking strong in the face of pain, Whitepaw didn’t catch much of the conversation going on around her. She was aware of who was in the den with her and that her leg was being tended to, but everything else was blocked out. Though, as soon a Algaewing mentioned Coconutfall the white and brown molly’s attention focused on nothing but what was being said. Whitepaw’s eyes widened as she looked at Algaewing. Her sister. One of the cats she now shared a father with. Her chest heaved with a deep breath. ”I don’t…I don’t think I want to talk to…” Her words faltere, pausing softly. Coconutfall connected her and Algaewing. They were sisters through him. For so long Whitepaw didn’t even know she had a father, but now she had one and five unexpected siblings. It…was a lot to take in, and right now Whitepaw had no idea how she was going to finish her sentence. There were so many things she could say, but what? Should she acknowledge their newfound relation? It wasn’t like she had a problem with Algaewing, she was a confident and brazen molly with an amazing knowledge of herbs. It was just the fact that they were sisters now and had always been but neither had known until a few days ago just felt odd to Whitepaw. Was she supposed to try and connect with the older molly? Were they supposed to be all buddy-buddy now? Whitepaw had no idea, and the uncertainty of it all had her stiff. It wasn’t until Kiwipaw dropped white flowers in front of her that she snapped out of her thoughts. She glanced from her friend and then to the flowers, face scrunching as their aroma wafted upward. ”What the heck are you trying to give me?” Whitepaw shook her head before turning narrowed eyes on Kiwipaw. ”You’re the crazy one if you think I’m gonna eat that.”[ it’s crappy but it’s something! ]

MISTLEFALL WITH - REDWAVE LOCATION - CAMP TAG - Feathertalon Mistlefall nodded at Redwave's short reply impatiently. The sneakier side of her coming into play, she slitted her eyes. A sly smile crept to her lips. "Exactly why we have to do something, Redwave. We can't just sulk around and do nothing. Make a change, Redwave." Mistlefall spoke these words softly, so softly that even sharp-eared Ospreyfeather would not be able to hear even if he was standing half a meter away. But Mistlefall knew Redwave would hear. He was desperate for encouragement, someone to hear his thoughts. "Let's do something, Redwave. Together."

OSPREYFEATHER WITH - BLUEPOOL LOCATION - PALM COAST TAG - ☾—ivy。˚⊹♪:¨ · Ospreyfeather looked at Bluepool with concern. The molly looked somewhat uncomfortable to him. Had he done something the molly didn't like? He held his breath. His plan to impress the molly had gone all wrong. Terrifying thought crept into his mind. What if she hates you now? What if she doesn't like you for beating her? What if she doesn't want to be your friend? The last thought hit home for Ospreyfeather. Mostly unsociable and lonely, he had never had a true friend besides his littermates almost all the 22 moons of his life. Friends meant the world and more to him. Somehow, however, he couldn't get the thought out of his head. Bearing it no longer, Ospreyfeather asked Bluepool with concern, "Are you okay? You look upset. Do you want to go back?" Ospreyfeather knew it was a little intruding and he was behaving a bit like a busybody, but he could not help it. He could not bear the thought nagging at the back of his head.

Bluepool Bluepool frowned. "No, no, I'm fine, don't worry. I just remembered something important," she explained hurriedly. "Don't doubt yourself." Her eyes widened as she finished the last sentence. Would the tom think she was doubting him?
She shuffled her paws awkwardly. "Sorry, I just felt like I had to say that-" she flattened her ears, blinking briefly. "-and I hope you aren't angry with me."
The blue eyed hunter wished she hadn't said anything. I really hope I didn't anger him! That'd be a disaster...!

Batpaw // Tealraven" Y-yes Parrotcall!", the apprentice mewed with his fur still bristling from earlier. Batpaw let the healer lead the two of them back to the camp and Batpaw couldn't help but feel relief knowing that he wouldn't have to navigate through horrible weather. I hope Parrotcall doesn't think I'm pathetic for not being able to lead us back to camp. The tom continued to follow the older tom and he suddenly felt his paws and underbelly touch cold water. " Agh! I got my fur wet!", cried Batpaw as his tail twitched from annoyance. " My fur will be ruined Parrotcall,", he yowled looking at feline. Thunder then shook the sky and Batpaw jumped from the crashing sound that met his ears. The future scout's fur bristled once again. Batpaw hissed at the sky before meowing, " I hate being out here."

basiltail at the border
Basiltail grinned at the sight of the rogue lumbering at him in sheer rage. Can't take what you're spitting out, hm? Now Basiltail truly had the upper hand, unblinded by emotion and instinct, able to see exactly where Waterfall intended to hit and where to counterstrike.
"I'm afraid," he said with a mighty leap, diving right for Waterfall's face, "you're going to have to find some new territory!"
butterflypaw and algaewing in healer's den
Butterflypaw looked back and forth between Algaewing and Whitepaw, wincing. The awkwardness was palpable. Whitepaw looked like she was struggling to grapple with the whole oh-yeah-we're-related-huh, while Algaewing looked ready to ignore it completely.
Instead, Algaewing said, "The neem flowers are not for consumption. We're using the oils to reduce swelling in your leg." After some inspection and nodding of approval, she was about to pass some over to Kiwipaw when the watering of his eyes gave her pause.
"Are you alright?" She looked closer. "You're not allergic, are you? I was going to ask if you'd chew these up for Whitepaw."
((feel free to sneeze at anytime lol))

WATERFALL AND WHIRLPOOL WITH - CROCODILEFANG, BASILTAIL AND WHALESPIRIT LOCATION - SCARMAW'S LAIR TAG - thejadestorm , Feathertalon Waterfall hissed and attempted to duck away but did not make it in time. He opened his mouth to hurl an insult at Basiltail, but before any sound could come out of his mouth and past his bleeding lips, Basiltail's claw hit him, scratching his fcae painfully. Waterfall could bear it no longer. He had been beaten. Fighting to stay alive, Waterfall bent over in pain. Basiltail was still attacking, unless it was just him hallucinating. But instead of fighting back, he stepped back raising his paws in surrender. "Let's go, Whirlpool." Without another word, he turned straight for the lair, his tail held up arrogantly. He had his head lifted, and eyes where glinting evilly, for he had a plan. Whirlpool, who was fighting back hard at Crocodilefang's sudden attack, lifted her head indignantly. "Why?" she grumbled, stopping the fight. But however annoyed Whirlpool was, she heeded Waterfall's call. She turned and followed in Waterfall's footsteps, not before hissing a warning, "We'll be back!"

SEABREEZE WITH - LILYPOOL, KIWIPAW, ALGAEWING, BUTTERFLYPAW, WHITEPAW LOCATION - HEALERS DEN TAG - Feathertalon , thejadestorm , Tealraven "The herbs are fine, don't worry. Just a few used up. Luckily we brought back some aloe." Seabreeze said. It seemed like so. Seabreeze was still curious who came in, butthere was no serious damage or loss. Most likely it had been an ex-healer. Maybe Coastdawn. Or Vanillabloom. There were many cats who could have been helping out, that was true. It took a while for Seabreeze to realise Lilypool was talking again. "What did yo- oh." Seabreeze nodded at Lilypool, shrugging. "I guess I can smell their scents. Hopefully you're right, they weren't hurt too badly," she replied uncertainly, hoping she didn't look like she was trying to convince herself, for that was exactly what she was trying to do. And it wasn't working out okay. The scratch marks did not seem to be made by someone who had a minor injury. But oh, she wouldn't bother about it. There were other, more productive things to be done.
10 mins later
Seabreeze gaped at the apprentice's tale. So Whitepaw and Butteflypaw had been fighting boas while she had been picking herbs. She looked at Whitepaw in panic. Would she need to treat her? Relax. You aren't alone this time Seabreeze. She stepped back to allow the more senior healers do their stuff. She would only help if she was needed to.

PARROTCALL camp / with batpaw
"You and me both." The healer gave his disheveled, rain-soaked fur a forlorn look. Damp leaves stuck to his coat and his ginger paws were caked in mud. He was going to have to add extra grooming time to his schedule. He tried to ignore the feeling of wet earth squishing under his feet. "But I think we're almost there."
He was relieved he had managed to find one of the trails so easily. Even with his exceptional sniffer, he hadn't been too confident in his abilities to guide them back. But once he'd gotten them back on the right track they reached the camp in little time. The scents of his Clanmates grew stronger and stronger until they all pointed to a central location; even Batpaw could probably smell them now.
"Here we are!" Parrotcall cried in triumph. He paused and glanced back over his shoulder to make sure the younger cat was still with him. The dark-furred tom was looking rather bedraggled for their mad dash through the storm. "Well done, my plucky apprentice friend! I surely couldn't have done this without you," he mewed, trying to make Batpaw feel as though his suffering had been worth it.
And it had, in a way; now Parrotcall would be able to replenish the neem stores. Feeling pleased with himself, he strode to the camp entrance, then hesitated. With a sheepish grin, he turned to the apprentice. "Oh, and Batpaw?
"Maybe don't tell Sandheart about this."
KIWIPAW healers' den / with seabreeze, algaewing, butterflypaw, & whitepaw
Kiwipaw rolled his eyes at Whitepaw's outraged questions but did not take his gaze off of the white petals he was sorting to Algaewing. When the older healer explained the purpose of the neem, he nodded. "What she said," he mumbled, sounding congested. It was getting harder and harder to focus on the herbs and not his itchy nose. He resisted the urge to scratch it. "What?" he looked up at Algaewing in alarm. I can't be allergic to herbs! I'm a healer!! Stress tightened his chest. When she peered closer at him he looked away, feeling self-conscious. "No." He leaned over and picked up the flowers as she had asked. As he chewed them, the pressure in his head began to build until it was almost unbearable. "Sthee? Fine," he insisted around his mouthful of petals even as his eyes and nose continued to run.
But before he could stop himself, an explosive sneeze escaped him, scattering the remains of the petals across Algaewing's fur just as Seabreeze joined the little group. A brief, shocked silence fell over the den. Kiwipaw gaped at the warrior for several seconds, then snapped his jaw shut, his fur prickling with shame. I can't believe I just did that. Do apprentices get punished for sneezing on warriors??? Probably. He glared at his paws, trying to ignore his friends' stares. "Not allergic." His voice was no more than a whisper.

WHITEPAW —
Relief slumped Whitepaw’s posture after being informed that she wouldn’t have to ingest the flowers. That was the last thing she had wanted to happen - being bit by the boa a second time would have been preferred over eating the flowers.
A lot still stormed in her mind, everything from Butterflypaw being nearby to Algaewing being her half-sister, but despite all the rain sloshing inside her head, she still noticed how Kiwipaw was reacting to the herbs as he attempted to turn them into a poultice. It was clear even to Whitepaw that her friend wasn’t having a very good time, and a part of her wanted to act and do something about it, something to help, but there wasn’t much she could do other than unsheathe her claws and shred the flowers to a pulp. … If she did that would it be considered a poultice then? There was probably more to the creation of a medicinal salve, but pulp couldn’t be much different than a poultice.
Whitepaw tilted her head. ”Kiwipaw, are you alright?” The brown tomcat had said he was fine, but Whitepaw didn’t believe it. His eyes were waterfalls and his nose a stream, running freely down his face. Whitepaw scrunched her nose; that didn’t look good at all.
And then, Kiwipaw sneezed.
Whitepaw stepped back, eyes wide as she stared between Kiwipaw and Algaewing. What was going to happen? Would Algaewing get on to her friend because of this? Was she going to punish him? She had no idea what was going to happen, so she stood there, silent, curious, waiting.

algaewing in healer's den
Algaewing stood in stunned silence for a good, long moment, blinking as she slowly comprehended neem sneezed all over her. The scent of its oils were strong, and the shock on each apprentice's face even greater.
Then the very-much allergic apprentice stubbornly muttered "not allergic" and Algaewing couldn't hold it in any longer.
She burst into laughter.
Her amusement nearly knocked her off her paws as she wheezed, waving her tail at Kiwipaw. "You, young sir, are very much so. Goodness me. Let's get this neem out of here." It felt very much unprofessional to chuckle so heartily, but the juxtaposition was just too amusing. "Please excuse us, Whitepaw, we should wash up for sanitary purposes - Butterflypaw, would you mind tending to her wound in the meantime?"
Algaewing shook her head. "I do hope you carry no cold, Kiwipaw! Oh, don't look so ashamed now, when I was an apprentice I once laughed so hard I snorted an entire mouthful of goldenrod poultice all over Lilypool! Compared to that, this is nothing to sneeze at, haha!"

REDWAVE — with Mistlefall - swallowtailThere was a part of Redwave that wanted to tell his sister to do something herself. His jaws parted open to speak the words, but they fell flat on his tongue, unspoken tones that would never find his littermate’s ears. Rather he stood there with jaw agape, a fish out of water. The taste of bitterness flooded his tongue and he shivered. Duskflight’s advice replayed in his head; he needed to win over his Clanmates, and his sister was right here, pushing him onward. Mistlefall would follow him. Perhaps he could his get other sisters on his side as well. Surely Jacarandabloom would be easy to convince. Algaewing would be easy as well, or so he hoped. Lilypool would be the odd one out, the tabico more in tune with a gentle nature compared to the rest of the litter. Redwave looked toward Mistlefall with eyes narrowed. ”Oh, HibiscusClan will see a change, that’s for sure.” Conviction ran deep in his voice. There was no denying that he was serious about what he was going to do. ”The Clan will see the rise of a new leader. A deserving leader.” Somebody better than Coconutfall. Better than Tigerpaw. If any cat deserved the oracle position it was one of Coconutfall’s first litter, and out of them all Redwave was the chosen. He would be the cat to make the change and bring HibiscusClan into a new dawn.

KIWIPAW healers' den / with seabreeze, algaewing, butterflypaw, & whitepaw
Kiwipaw would have taken punishment over being laughed at.
Cheeks and ears burning, the apprentice mustered an embarrassed smile, laughing half-heartedly. "Yeah. Maybe a little." He studiously avoided Whitepaw's gaze; he knew she and Butterflypaw would never let him live it down. With a sigh that was much too long-suffering for a cat of his age, the fuzzy brown tom trailed after Algaewing.
Her confession of doing the same thing to one of her sisters made him feel a little better, and he uttered a more genuine chuckle. "Good thing it was Lilypool." He liked the other healer; she was always kind and softspoken, a natural at her job. He knew little about Mistlefall, and he was slightly terrified of Jacarandabloom.
"Wait. That was the last of the neem," he remembered aloud. Now he felt even worse. "We'll have to find something--" his sentence was interrupted by another sneeze -- "--sorry, something else to take down the swelling. Ugh, Ocean drown me." He sniffled and rubbed his nose with one paw. Then he stopped, an idea striking him at the same time it struck Seabreeze. "Unless..."
He glanced from one adult healer to the other. Would the neem still work? But the half-chewed petals were scattered all over Algaewing. They'd have to carefully transfer them from her fur to Whitepaw's wound... Maybe I should've sneezed on Whitepaw instead.
"Did someone say neem???" A hammy voice called from the entrance.
"Oh, no," Kiwipaw muttered.
PARROTCALL healers' den / with seabreeze, algaewing, & apprentices
Parrotcall, having departed from Batpaw's side, headed for the healers' den to drop off the neem flowers he'd just collected. He paused outside the entrance, ears pricked. A number of voices emanated from within. A devilish grin stealing over his features, he waited for the right moment to make an entrance, then sauntered into the healers' den. Or tried to. It was surprisingly crowded inside, which it made it rather difficult to saunter. Nevertheless, he persisted.
"You're in luck!" He announced, setting down his bundle of white flowers. "I've just collected some, fresh off the branch. Now, who -- oh, hello, Butterflypaw," he added off-handedly, nodding a greeting toward his apprentice. He was pleased to see her there, and she seemed to be doing a fine job of helping her close friend. "Now, who is in need of neem?" His brilliant blue gaze traveled over the assembled cats, taking in the scene.

Whitepaw »
Whitepaw would have loved to join in on the sudden laughter that erupted inside the healers’ den, but there were a few things stopping her from doing as much. First, she was dealing with an incredibly sore leg that loved throbbing with pain at any sudden moment or foreign touch. Second, she hated that she had to be treated in the first place. Whitepaw sold herself as a tough, capable molly, and right now she felt like anything but that. Third, the neem was starting to get to her a little bit as well. None of the petals had been sneezed onto her, but being in the general vicinity of the herb was giving her nose a little tickle as well. Every so often she found herself blinking her eyes as water formed around the edges. And fourth, it was still unnerving to her that Algaewing was her sister, and having acknowledged that earlier still left an uneasy twisting in her stomach. Between her and Kiwipaw, this whole situation was something that would rather be forgotten.
’Did someone say neem’.
It meant something when Whitepaw knew exactly who that was just by his voice when she wasn’t in the healers’ den a lot. They were Clanmates, but the scout apprentice didn’t interact with him a whole lot even if he was her crush’s mentor. Even still, she knew who was making his arrival. Parrotcall.
A loud, boisterous tomcat, it was safe to say that every cat knew exactly who Parrotcall was. He wasn’t a bad cat in the slightest, tolerable compared to a lot of cats Whitepaw had to deal with now, but he could be a bit…too much, and right now, between being in pain and ashamed that she even needed medical help, Whitepaw wasn’t sure just how much of Parrotcall she could take right now; to make matters worse for her, more and more cats kept piling into the den, meaning more and more cats were going to find out that she had been injured. Whitepaw didn’t mind any cat knowing she had slipped out of camp and broke a few rules, it was them knowing she was injured that had her annoyance levels rising like ocean waves.
While Algaewing, Kiwipaw, and Seabreeze seemed to be off on their own little group after the sneezing incident, that left Whitepaw and Butterflypaw with Parrotcall. The tabby and white molly rolled her shoulders in defeat as she responded, ”It’s for me.”

Rookfall
With - [ Vanillabloom ]
Location - [ Nursery ]
It seemed that his efforts to divert the conversation from one of his troubles and in the direction of more casual pleasantries was quite the success. He was glad for that; to discuss his own measly matters seemed more troublesome than beneficial to him. That was until Vanillabloom's question left her maw and reached his ears. His heartbeat was suddenly loud in his ears as he met her mismatched gaze - for him, it was hard to determine if time had abruptly slowed or sped up. The only guide he had to be sure the that time hadn't frozen in that exact moment was the consistent thump - thump - thump of the beating in his ears. To respond honestly to her query was simply not possible. The reason he started learning about herbs was purely for the possibility of being able to interact with and bond with Lilypool - should she be willing. It wasn't the sort of thing he would openly admit to anyone aside from Drizzlefur, and he certainly didn't want to admit it to Lilypool's own mother!
He dropped his gaze to his paws and watched the feathers and moss below as he scuffled his half-sheathed claws over them. He didn't want to claim that he desired to be knowledgeable in herbs due to a new and incessant desire to heal others, either. Perhaps... there was a middle ground that was safe to expel.
"I think that even though I'm scout it's important." He started slow in order to find a steady rhythm to his speech. "I've no desire to be a healer - there's many more talented cats for that task than me." He rose his head and met her eyes once more. "I-I just believe there are many reasons to learn about herbs and healing." Which was a truth.
Quietly, he let out a breath he didn't know he'd been holding. He did have to ponder what prompted the sudden question from the queen. Had be been so blindingly obvious? His coat warmed with guilt at the prospect of having potentially made Lilypool feel awkward if she had realised his intentions. Though, he did consider a moment later, that she'd acted perfectly pleasant and kind as usual - nothing indicated she had been uncomfortable.
"W-why do you ask?" He averted his gaze for a quick, distracting look towards Skinkstripe and her kits.
Featherfoot
With - [ Wavecrest, Shellsong, Archwhisker ]
Location - [ Beach ]
Featherfoot blinked with amusement, watching as Archwhisker's face contorted with the expression that promised a rebuke towards Wavecrest's comment. However, it never came. Archwhisker may have a sharp tongue, though he reliably found himself at a loss for words whenever challenged. Her gaze flicked towards Wavecrest who made his way up the shore and she smirked. The large tabby tom grunted and turned his back away from the hunters, preparing for the trek back towards camp.
Turning towards Shellsong, Featherfoot smiled gently, leaning forward to nudge Shellsong's shoulder with her own in a friendly manner, "Don't worry about him, you know how Archwhisker is. Here, why don't you help me grab my prey?" The tortoiseshell and the grey tabby moved towards Featherfoot's buried prey. Shellsong scooped up the clownfish and headed towards where Archwhisker was preparing to leave while Featherfoot picked up the angelfish.
With the patrol gathered, Archwhisker walked at the head towards camp. The weather had increased significantly; the promised storm was swiftly proving to be one of strength. Featherfoot glanced out the corner of her eye to Wavecrest. Her ears perked with interest as he muttered something and she slowed her pace in order to match his. "Is that Archwhisker jeering I hear?" She ducked her head, speaking quietly as to not alert Shellsong or the cat in question. "You dare mock the brother of our oracle - the son of our past oracle?" From her tone alone it would sound as though she were seriously offended and jolted by the insinuation. This illusion was broken a moment later: "And you would dare do such a thing without me?" Her tone lifted with the softness of a quiet laugh.
Sandheart
With - [ Mintsong ]
Location - [ Camp ]
"Yes," Sandheart lowered her head slowly, her eyes burning seriously as she took a half-step towards her sister, "Love him." The words were uttered in a quite half-whisper half-hiss. It would be easy for the words to be lost in the song of the wind and rain; but the intensity in which the sisters exchanged stares and words proved that even a whisper was as loud as a clap of thunder. Another step and the molly was inches away from her sopping sister, "If we could all have the luxury of being happy I would desire it for everyone - do you not know that I've taken the chance while I have it? That Coconutfall and I are not so foolish as to have kits and family unless we were truly serious?" Still, her tone was quiet. The conflicted emotions that clouded her gaze - love, pain, uncertainty, longing - were clear as still water.
Sandheart did not yearn to follow Mintsong when her ginger tabby sister turned. She grit her teeth and looked down at her paws, feeling her claws unsheathe and dig into the newly softened earth in an effort to divert her attention from the intense wave of shame. To love Coconutfall was all she willed... yet, when her sister - when her clanmates turned against her... she couldn't help feeling ashamed of her secretive actions.
Slowly she rose her head and looked across the camp to Coconutfall's den. She knew that if she went inside that Mintsong would scorn her... then again, she wasn't sure what she could do now to prevent Mintsong from doing such a thing. Her paws moved before she'd made the decision. She run-walked across the camp, desperately wanting to feel the warmth of her mate after standing nose-to-nose with the icy cold of her sister.

BluepoolThe she-cat's face flushed with color, and she looked away. Her face was burning with embarassment. "Erm, nothing, haha. It's uh, it's not... It's not important," she said, trying to sound dignified.
Her ears twitched lightly. She looked back at the hunter, nervous shivers passing through her spine. "Let's go."
~~~the tiniest timeskip brought to you by Ivyeyes™~~~
A fish was clamped firmly in Bluepool's jaws. She raised her head proudly, a purr of satisfaction rumbling deep in her throat.
"Hey, Osprey'eather, look! I grot this 'utterfly 'ish," she mumbled, her words quite incoherent due to the yellow fish in her mouth. It was plump and big, much to Bluepool's delight. She hoped she could possibly impress Ospreyfeather with her catch.
What am I thinking?! I don't... like him, do I?
A strange feeling coursed through her fur, making it feel hot and heavy. Her heart was racing, loud enough for its sound to course through her ears.
I'm done for, she pondered dramatically, I've never liked anyone! Nobody's ever liked me! She dropped the fish on the ground, plopping herself down on the sand. I'll just ignore it. Ospreyfeather will never know, and it'll all be fine.
OSPREYFEATHER WITH - BLUEPOOL LOCATION - PALM COAST TAG - ☾—ivy。˚⊹♪:¨ · Ospreyfeather turned in surprise. Bluepool has already caught a fish? He would never be able to get her to like him... he was unsociable and dreamy, after all. No one would like him. He shook himself off in bewilderment. Did he like Bluepool? That was what he had not been thinking about... Surely he didn’t? Just a odd feeling... What was that feeling anyway? His serious feelings made him miss a small school of fish, which rarely happened. His thoughts continued to run dark. Even if he liked Bluepool, she wouldn’t like him back. Still life had to go on. “Wow... congratulations.” two youngsters searching for love
MISTLEFALL WITH - REDEWAVE LOCATION - CAMP TAG - Feathertalon Mistlefall nodded. “Exactly, Redwave. The clan actually isn’t that secure. Which is why, they just need the right leader. We can overthrow the traditions. And I will back you up every, second of it. And if we fail, I will take punishment with you. Take my offer, Redwave, and benefit from it. You need my loyalty.” With that, Mistlefall walked off briskly, avoiding a small crowd forming in the medicine den. She hoped Redwave would listed to her.
algaewing in healer's den
"Ah," Algaewing said, relieved, "your timing is impeccable as always, Parrotcall. We'll get you all patched up, Whitepaw - unless you're allergic to neem as well, but what are the chances of that?"
basiltail at border with crocodilefang, whalespirit, and the siblings (swallowtail)
"We'll be waiting!" Basiltail purred after the two running rogues. "You make for excellent scratching posts!"
Licking the wounds left by the energetic battle he'd just engaged in, Basiltail waved his tail over at Crocodilefang and Whalespirit. "How's that for an exciting patrol, eh? We sure have a story to tell the clan tonight!"
mintsong in camp mentioned sandheart
Mintsong scored her claws down the neck of a tree. "How can she think she's in the right?" she snarled through gritted teeth. The tree did not answer, its bark peeling under her anger. "How dare she act like I'm the unreasonable one? Why can't you just love the mate I never told you about Mintsong? I'm super serious about him that's why I never told you or Vanillabloom, Mintsong!"
But there was no one to soothe the thorns that jabbed at her, no one to challenge nor validate her thoughts. Not that Mintsong needed or wanted anyone. No, she'd rather wallow in her own misery. Trying to talk to her sister proved just that. There was nothing Sandheart could say, only add to the flames.
She panted, even the chilly rain failing to ease the heat of her anger. A wise cat would warn that time and space can heal the wounds, to not tear open any anew. But as Mintsong's heart hardened, she could only imagine one petty conclusion: vindication. Make the cozy pair hurt just as much as she did.
butterflypaw in healer's den with whitepaw
Butterflypaw was strangely paranoid that the white of her pelt was going to turn a rosy pink from all the heat rushing to her face. "Here," she murmured, chewing and licking the herbal remedy into Whitepaw's wound. This crush will be the end of me, she thought.
She felt both relieved and disappointed when Parrotcall swept in. "Yep," she mewed in addition to Whitepaw. "She's got a swelling bite. But she'll be alright."
That, at the end of the day, was all that mattered. Whitepaw's going to be okay...
CLIFFSTORM WITH - SKINKSTRIPE, KITS LOCATION - NURSERY TAG - Feathertalon, ☾—ivy。˚⊹♪:¨ · Cliffstorm looked up at Subsetkit in mack relief. “Sunsetkit! Finally a kit who doesn’t attack me on sight.” He reached up his left paw to pluck Horizonkit off him. The kit squeaked and scampered to the right side. Cliffstorm, an expression of playful annoyance, reached up with his right paw. Horizonkit cleverly scampered back to the left. Cliffstorm’s eyes glinted with a playful light. Lying down on the floor, he freed both of his paws and lifted them at one time. He reached up cheerfully and plucked Horizonkit off him. The kit squeaked plaintively. “Put me down!”
