What are some cats that you're fairly certain your the only one who sees them the way you do? I'm genuinely curious because; as I've mentioned elsewhere, I see Runningwind as: a slim, white tom with very pale silver tabby stripes that shift in the sunlight, and get darker on his legs and tail. Otherwise known as a silver coulour point tabby. I also did a quick picture of Blackfoot and now cant help but see him with bright blue eyes. That may change, but Silver Runningwind wont.
I know why too. I have a habit of taking names a little literally, and without much of a description I immediately went to silver

Younger me though Leafpool was ginger like maple leaves. And I still think Tawnypelt and Tigerstar II should've stayed gold.

I picture Silverstream as a silver cat with white stripes, which I know is not actually possible.
I'm pretty much only doing this to differentiate her from all the other silver tabby cats.

That sounds right, your description I mean. I had to look her up, I'm not that far into the books yet.

I swear am I crazy? One time I made an angry comic at Twigbranch, and I remember looking up the warriors wiki for her design and I saw that she had brown eyes, so I drew her with them, now it says she's had green eyes and I don't see anything in the trivia section that stated she ever had brown? aside from that, I can't imagine her with anything but brown eyes

I know the book describes him as scrawny and thin, but I see Shadowsight as big and round and fluffy. Like a larger version of his mom in terms of body type

for the longest time i thought blackfoot was an all black-cat. child me was selectively blind i guess. you aren't the only one who pictured blackfoot wrong. i thought he was all black except for his feet, which i thought were white. looking back, i'm not sure how i came to that conclusion, as it's quite literally in his name that he has black feet.

I know she mentioned Dovewing, but there was anothercat as well. Looking back it may have been Rootspting.

most of these r just how i fix cats descriptions in my AU's and stuff:
brightheart, whitewing, and dewnose r sleek-furred cats. only cloudtail, snowbush, and ambermoon r long-furred and fluffy.
berrynose is sleek furred like his dad; hazel and mouse r fluffy like their mom. hazel has paler gray spots than mousewhisker (in order to tell them a part lmao).
all ginger cats have faint tabby markings bc heck solid ginger cats. all gingers r tabbies. period.
sandstorm is sandy-brown. she should have been pale sandy-brown instead of pale ginger. it'd explain leafpool way better.
tawnypelt being solid tawny-color...
sorreltail having blue eyes bc why tf would 2 of her kits have blue eyes if both she and bracken have amber eyes? smh. both her brothers rain and soot had blue eyes too so like wtf.
jayfeather is tall and lanky like crowfeather and he's the runt of the litter. hollyleaf also has her fathers body type, but u cant tell bc of the long-fur and fluff hiding it. lionblaze is the giant of the litter for no real reason lol.
spiderleg being dark grayish-brown instead of black.
BIRCHFALL BEING PALE GRAY TABBY I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL

When I was younger, I used to think Ivypaw on the Fading Echoes cover was Berrynose. Now, I can't picture Berrynose without faint stripes, and I think of his cream color as more silvery.

I'm starting to think solid Tawny is actually the less popular one. I like your idea of Leafpool's three as well. In my curent Au Leafpool's kits are both Moth and Crows (Trans moth, two 'fathered' litter) and due to Moth being Half Coon, that's why he's so big. Holly is short like Jay but has lot's of fluff, Jay is just a snort, grouchy blind tom.

I'm going to add my own little nitpick. I though Longtail was explicitly stated to have a long ringed tail, but I realize that was how I descripted him

I just realized that sunfish wasn’t a golden tabby with green eyes Just googled it, am in the same boat. It makes since if it's in reference to an actual sunfish, but that would mean some cat named their gray kit after a sunfish, ignoring the suffix tradition and just crossing fingers (toe beans?) that it would land the "-fish" suffix. And how would they know what a sunfish looks like, anyway? That, or they just wholeheartedly believed "sun" would be a good prefix for a gray kit

Which is a bit odd, but I guess it works.
