Drawing, reading, and writing...anything that includes math will be the death of me.
I now am making magnets, I can draw and color which is fine enough for me.

the only thing preventing me from getting BG3 is the lack of storage space on my pc ;-;
also just found out about something called “rejection sensitive dysphoria” and am feeling extremely called out asfjklskfk
anyway, seconding the Etsy store idea. if you like to draw, maybe you could design characters to sell as stationery? it’s something i’ve thought about recently.

@ forest - hey, welcome back! <3 dinosaurs? interesting! have you been learning anything of note about them recently? c: Thank you <3 I feel like my sudden interest in dinosaurs is not really based on wanting to learn everything about them and moreso just about how people design and also utilize them in creative works (I do enjoy watching some documentaries on them, Jurassic Park as mentioned, and found a Youtube channel called Dead Sound that has made some truly stunning animations about them). It seems like my dino phase will just consist of me wanting to find the prettiest ones and be impressed by them simply for having existed back then (or even just fantasy ones). I feel like this might become a bridge to making me switch to and eventually be moreso interested in dragons, to be honest. Since there is also more creative freedom there and I have always liked dragons while dinos were never much on my mind before. What do you think about dinosaurs (or dragons as well for that matter)? |

I think it could be cool. I remember when I was little I was really interested in a steam game about dinosaurs (don't remember the name) and tried to write a story on it, but it never went anywhere.

I’ve never been all that interested in dinos, tbh. But I suppose it is pretty interesting that every existing design is essentially someone’s best guess of what they looked like based on bone structure. It’s imagination backed up scientific interpretation, in a way.
I love dragons! I sometimes wonder if our modern concept of dragons originally stemmed from humans in centuries past coming across fossils and not understanding what they were. I mean, imagine if you’d never seen something like that before, what explanation would you come up with for leg bones larger than your entire body?

Dinos my first beloved.
I've lost 90% of my knowledge but to highlight that my special interests never really go away, I saw some famous dino bones recently and was a kid in a candy shop. Couldn't get over it. Was amazing.

And I used to be Obsessed with Dead Sound as well! His sketchbooks and 3D works are Incredible

i have reached the point where a hyperfixation has consumed my waking thoughts and i can’t focus on anything else and it’s Not Great! Give me some of it please because i have been completely without hyperfixation and its driving me equally insane. i thought i was maybe focused on dragon age but it kinda just died again for no reason and im so bored it hurts. Maybe we can equal each other out |

Hi I'm Glade. I was diagnosed as Autistic two weeks ago. I'm 28 so I'm ngl I cried when I was told and was a little bit shocked? I went for a diagnosis in 2022 along with ADHD. I got diagnosed with ADHD last year.
I've been feeling pretty down? Quite a few tearful days. I'm waiting to join a post diagnosis adults group so I hope that's soon.
My biggest hyperfixation is on adverts. Specifically UK ones. I don't like American commercials.
I am also big on werewolves and formula one.
I feel like I'm grieving if that makes sense? I've struggled to fit in for so long. I've now got answers but also I feel like this should have been picked up years ago.

I think your reaction makes perfect sense. For me, getting diagnosed came almost as a relief because it explained so many things, but I can definitely understand why you'd feel upset as well. Everything's more obvious in hindsight, and getting answers can be validating, but it can also make you wonder why it wasn't noticed years ago and whether things would've been different if you'd gotten those answers sooner. I get that. And joining a support group is a great idea! I wish I had something like that.
What interests you about UK commercials? Do you have any favorites? c:

Hi!
Gladeshadow is the name I was given in a Warrior Cats name quiz donkeys years ago and it became my internet name when I was a teen. But I spelt it wrong on the forums as Gladeshaddow 🤣 I finally spelt it right when I joined here. Gladeshadow became my Warrior Cats oc. A blue/grey medicine cat. ^^ So the cat is my warriors oc.
I am still waiting to join the support group as I'm feeling quite low about it and I need to talk to other people but I've still not heard when it's starting. I just need to talk everything out you know? I feel so let down by all the doctors I had growing up. Maybe my life would have been easier. I know now that I'd get support and help and that's a comfort.
Idk what it is about adverts. But it's definitely been my special interest since I was a kid. I find them interesting? You're basically telling a story within a 30second to about 1m 30 window. Some of them are so creative you just go "wow!" I just loved them growing up and in the days of the video recorder I would spend hours just taping adverts on tv to watch back. Now I have YouTube to watch any advert I want.
Oh man I was asked for my favourite by the assessor in my autism appointment. I hate this question ngl because there are THOUSANDS of adverts and all of them are so good. I guess I have an answer for it but it relates to the fact there was one advert growing up that I had to wait to actually tape and I got it and I treasured it. It was this one;
I also loved horses growing up so that one became a firm favourite.
I think a close second was the Arnold Schwarzenegger PPI adverts which were insanely funny and I'd watch every single one that came out. I also love the Monkey and Al PG Tips adverts, the money supermarket ones, Beefy and Lamby, Egg Money Guinea Pigs....I can go on 🤣
I recently bought six books on advertising recently. One is 400 pages long and I can't wait to read it 🙈
Recently I've noticed my big love of Werewolves get replaced by Warriors and it's such a weird feeling? Now I'm more excited to read Warriors books rather than something with Werewolves but I think it's because of the nostalgia Warriors is giving me atm.

Been told I'm on the waiting list to join the post diagnosis group BUT it's just an information group not like therapy so today I called the therapist office and there's a short waiting list so I've got something to help ♥️

Hey hi! My name is Lazz, and I am undiagnosed! Yippee?? I do consider myself heavily ADHD and possibly autistic? I have twin brothers who are both on varying ends of the spectrum, and I understand that it's hereditary. My family does have a history of neurodivergent issues as far as I know, but I digress! My biggest issue is anxiety wooo I am a perfectionist 100% let's go! I get panic attacks relatively frequently, mainly due to sensory overstimulation (my latest trigger has been thunderstorms. Very fun as my area was under a drought for almost two months and every other day for the past two weeks has had stormy weather.) I really do hope to get a proper diagnosis once I turn 18, which is soon!
Anyways, onto the stuff that interests me! Warriors, obviously, but also just any piece of anthropomorphic cat media available! The Lion King was probably my first exposure to this medium, and most recently the second Puss in Boots movie (big comfort film btw!) I also love love LOVE Louis Wain's artwork! He's an artist from the 1930s who drew exclusively very silly and very dapper felines! Heavily advise looking into his work for inspiration (most of his pieces are very colorful and kaleidoscope-like so MAJOR eyestrain warning for that!) Also there's a biopic about him that I've been putting off because I'm worried it'll make me SOB but hey Mr. Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange) is in it wooah
Musicwise, I have a massive hyperfixation on Hawaii Pt: II! It's one of my all-time favorite albums! Here's the link if anyone wants to listen
I am literally SO OBSESSED with it. I could spend hours writing essays about the lore in the lyrics and cryptic meanings behind every note. It's too ethereal to put into words. So terrifyingly enchanting. If you adore this album like I do, you should check out Tally Hall! They do indie rock and tons of alternative music! Hawaii:pt II is a sister album of made by one of the members, Joe Hawley, after Tally Hall disbanded in 2011. Joe Hawley wrote this album under the alias of Miracle Musical. Some Tally Hall songs I recommend are:
-Ruler of Everything (their most popular song)
-Spring and a Storm (one of my favortes, calms me down during but storms!)
-Fate of the Stars (final song made under the Tally Hall alias)
-Hymn for a Scarecrow (criminally underrated, so pleasant to my ears!)
Random other interests: paleontology+biological engineering, stuffed animals, cryptids and other silly mythological creatures (werewolves and kirins are among my favorites!)
