I pointed to several random spots on the page and said “that’s what this is; it’s basically a fanfiction” (and that was it because this conversation was while we were both packing up to go back to our rooms and sleep)
it’s really not too bad but I’m wearing socks now because it looks gross

I had a toe injury once. It wasn't broken but the nail had kinda separated from the toe in one spot, but it grew back normal. Problem was it was painful to walk and I had a play performance that day :/
Also I got a new name and avatar, ya like?

- word has it Martenclaw actually sprained his ankle rather than breaking his foot - yesterday we walked together part of the way to our classes  - apparently Breccianose has been telling people about my possibly injured toe so the other day Martenclaw asked me if my foot was okay and...honey you are on crutches and I am not...one of us is clearly worse off than the other - he has been SHREDDING on that ukulele - and singing... - apparently Longwhisker and friends think he’s hot? first of all no he’s not and second he’s MY absolute husband - summary: I am in love - bonus chapter: it’ll never happen but shh |

frog guy is exactly as awkward as expected (source: physics lab) frog guy is interesting because he’s one of those people who can flawlessly shift between “wait he’s actually pretty cute 👀” and “okay why does he look like that” in under a second |

oh in geology (morning) I found a pen on the windowsill that was the same kind I use (generic Bic)
so I picked it up and opened it but it gushed black ink all over my hand
and I’ve had ink spots on my hand all day :/

went to philosophy office hours to talk about my upcoming paper and had an entire breakdown crying and everything
it was helpful though
then I composed myself and left and bet you’ll never guess what happened!...Earwigtail showed up to ask questions about the paper

finally had a stress dream about Uzumaki
I don’t remember much of it, but I do remember having problems with the twisted tinsel, talking about my brother who died (note: I have never had a brother), and telling people (mostly my family) that I had to stay away from them or the curse would choose them next
there was also a part where Earwigtail very helpfully explained that he knew the curse was real because he was always late to everything, which had nothing to do with what I was talking about but was apparently convincing to the others

turned down an offer to hang out with Breccianose's friends (read: Martenclaw) because I have a Pokémon Go "lure party" tonight (Sealwhisker, Gorsetalon, and I hang out in the math building with lures up) and I feel kind of weird now 1. I unquestionably made the right decision because a. this was a prior obligation and b. these people are ACTUALLY my friends and not my roommate's friends taking pity on me 2. on the other hand it's been more than a month since I've been invited to hang out with them and I don't want them to think I'm blowing them off and then never invite me again 3. and Martenclaw but honestly? avoiding him (even if by coincidence) is probably the best thing for me and even more so for him 4. but like really this would happen to me wouldn't it |

when I got back from Pokémon some of them were still in the common room so I joined them and even got to sit next to Martenclaw! then he jumped over the table (please note he is still on crutches)
