theres been a Copious Quantity of Hot topics to get the community's blood boiling lately . so I wanted to Post something a little more whimsical and balmy to talk about .
we've had Thread about when we started Reading the Books recently . but I'M Curious how Everyone got introduced for the first time . What caught your interest ? what about the Series do you love the most ? how many IRL Friends do you have that Share you passion for the Series (Personally mine have all Quit Reading Ages ago ) what Characters from the Books inspire you , or view as a Role model if any ? . what aspects of the books make you Continue to Read them . do you have any Warriors Merchandise besides the officially licensed stuff ( I have Jayfeathers Plushie , and 4 Redbubble Premium T-shirts with Warriors on them....so far , and Even a Throw Pillow ). Whats your favorite/least favorite warriors content creator ?, if theres anything else you'd like to share on , please feel free . Not sure if everyone around here is familiar with how I was introduced to Reading warriors but allow me to share. I started reading them when Into the wild dropped back in 2003 , and it was actually an recommendation from the librarian , of my local library , because I was absolutely obsessed with the Redwall and Wolves of the Beyond Series , and since it was put in the same genre of literature , and it was about cats (which I absolutely adore) I got hooked immediately, and everything that transpired afterwards is history in the making .
Edit: oh yeah , almost forgot my official LE 2008 warriors day t-shirts

It was back in January 2020. I didn't really have anything else to read in my teacher's classroom. It was then when I saw TPB books #2, #3, #4, #5 and #6 as well as POT #1. I started on POT #1 first.
I caught up to the then most recent TBC book, VOS in June 2020 and got the new books as they came in November 2020, April 2021 and June 2021.

How I started reading warriors was from a friend during 2008. I loved the story and the characters they kept me interested in the book. Sadly my friend moved in 2009 so I was the only person who read books in my friend group. I had a super fan faze where I would make my own warrior universe with my own characters. I would also write some fanfics of characters I shipped together.

in the late mid-2000's (around elementary-middle school time for me), i saw my cousin's copy of Midnight. i started reading it because of the cat on the cover (old brambleclaw cover art in the square lol). i realized pretty quickly that it wasnt the first book because i had no idea what anything meant or who anyone was. did some digging in the book's back pages to see there was a first series. so next time i went to the book store (borders. RIP), i made my parents buy me the entire first arc and i started from there. i had all the books, guides, SE's, mangas, etc. at some point, but they got lost and ruined over time because im an awful book keeper lol

I remembered that I used to read RoS and the Graystripe trilogy over and over as kid when a MAP popped randomly into my feed (I think it was Ready as I'll Ever Be). MAPS and AMV/PMVs on YT really peaked my interest and convinced me to join an RP server (I'm still there). After that, I stumbled upon the forums and lurked for a good few months while reading the books and eventually I made an account here. It's been quite a trip reading these cat books as I had a lot of preconceived notions on characters and events which turned out to be wildly false (edgelord Graystripe, POT/OOTS being the best arcs, territories).

It was around 2017-2019 I was watching some of the maps (I really liked the brambleclaw and Squrrielpaw I can do anything better than you map), though I was interested I never really got into it until January 2021 when I got the first set as a birthday gift

I liked cats and I liked books and my school library had a shelf of them, so I poked around and picked up Moonrise. This was mid to late 2013.

None of my friends have even read past PoT , since they were greatly disappointed with the direction of the plot(or lack thereof) and that Hollyleaf was killed off (at least we thought), plus they broke up Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight after Hyping them up so much and getting like 70% of the readers to Ship them throughout TNP, only to break them up an Arc later

My older sister, who read warrior cat books from her school library, gave me The Rise of Scourge because it was a comic book with pictures about cats, and I loved cats. Then I read Graystripe's manga, then Sasha's, and eventually I began to read the books in order.

I read into the wild back in 2006, and proceeded to binge the entire series until I caught up. Do you mean Guardians of GaHoole because I’m pretty sure Wolves of the Beyond is much younger than Warriors. I remember buying the 1st book when it first came out at a school book fair years after I got into Warriors.

In fourth grade I had a friend who read Warriors and I thought I would give it a try. Went to the school library and checked out Dark River for some reason [???]. I was totally confused and stopped reading the books for a year, and then read Into the Wild and the rest is history.

I got the first TPB book Into the Wild in German gifted to me by my dad back during 2007. He in turn had received it as a present from a coworker who knew about my love for books and cats so she thought this could be very much to my liking. When it comes to me reading the Warriors series in English it was because of me getting bored with how slow translation took for the fourth arc so my mom bought me the entire OotS arc online in 2012.
I took a break from Warrior Cats (German title) due to getting bored with it as a teenager in 2013-2015 (read some stuff on and off) and also as the Graystripe's Adventure Graphic Novel trilogy had made me become very interested in manga (I still am). So during my break which lasted from 2015 to 2020 I was recommended some MAPs/AMVs/PMVs from the fandom on Youtube last year and also other videos by Moonkitti, Blixemi, pinkbunnygirl43 and Bok Bok Choy. After purchasing all six main Warriors series complete box sets and various SEs/Novellas/Field Guides/Graphic Novels it is safe to say that I have no intentions of ever leaving my childhood comfort books behind again.

I was in the library, searching for new books to read. I saw Sunset (in Dutch) lying between some other books for children my age. I think I was around 9 years old. I really liked how the book liked like, so I started reading it. I did not understand any single thing in the book, but I guess Cinderpelt's death got spoiled for me lol. I really liked it, so I started reading the books in order. I eventually read TPB, TNP, some of the super editions and two novellas (Cloudstar's Journey and Tigerclaw's Fury). I stopped reading for a month, but when I read a little bit of Sunrise because my friend bought the book, I started reading PoT. I stopped reading again for a while. Then I saw a newer book lay in the library, a while later. It was Sign of the Moon, I immediately took it home with me. I really liked it, so I also read OotS and then I stopped reading for a very long time. I was 12, almost 13, when I made a whole list of all the books in the series and in which order I was going to read them. I eventually started with all of the books in English.

Idk there pretty strict when it come to getting permission to sell Games/Movies and other media , especially in Australia/China/new Zeland Might of slowed the process . I purchased the first 4 arcs in hardcover , and all the SE’s up to Yellowfangs secret , skipped the novellas since they were all E-book exclusives back then still , and I’m far too old-schooled to read a digital book , read the first 2 books from DoTCs from the library , purchased Bramblestars Storm when it came out (i skipped over tallstars revenge ) , that’s were my interest started fizzling for the Series (after OoTS my resolve/patience was really being tested ) stopped reading the books from around 2014-2016( still reread the books I had , just never acquired the new ones ) until AVoS book #1 released , snagged it from the library , thought it was pretty good . Afterwards RL started gobbling up most of my spare time( as growing up tends to do ). So didn’t continue AVoS afterwards , since what available time I spent on Hardcore Online Gaming , though I still lurked the forums , read the authors/editors articles at times to keep updated . Fast forward to January 2021 I after life calmed down a bit , had more free time , heard all the great stuff about the TBC . Decided to reignite my childhood passion , by ironically ruining it almost by returning by reading Squirrelflights Hope (whew not best way to get back in the series , telling you ).ended up purchasing the AVoS box set , too only shortly learn about the B&N Bonus scenes , so had to scrounge around for all of those , bought all the TBC books , started getting caught up with the main arcs , and SEs etc . Right no I have a few SE’s and some of the novellas , and tigerSasha Manga. And rise of scourge missing from my collection. Anyways when I was in 6th grade my friend had moved into a new house they left a lot of random Warriors book behind. He gave each of us a random Warriors book to try apparently. I got The Sight realized that it was actually the first book of the third series so I started from Into the Wild after finishing it which was actually at the school

Berserk, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, Attack on Titan, Black Butler, My Hero Academia, One Punch Man and Jojo's Bizarre Adventures are some I can recommend and if the amount of books is too much then just watching the various anime is also an option.

Alright,I don't see how that would be more offensive then Darktail basically being a cult leader that converts the young( ShadowClan apprentices), Needletail's abusive treatment of Violetshine or the way Tigerstar's persecution of the half-clan cats is presented but your right that you never know what exactly will offend people. Also Hunter X Hunter ,Vinland Saga,Vagabond,Monster ,Pluto and 20th Century Boys are more good manga

I was gonna start reading Death Note , cause I’m Horror/Tragedy type person , but Barnes and Noble only had the 9-12 volumes , and I don’t like starting in the middle of anything reading related I see. One of my local bookstores had the entire box with all 13 volumes and an artwork book included so it was easy for me to read the whole thing as a teenager and have a wonderful collection piece as well. Although I've gifted it to someone else who is way more into horror stuff than I ever was. Since then my taste is a lot more focused on wholesome manga where the stakes aren't too high simply to protect my own mental health.

My aunt and uncle got me all six books of PoT for Christmas 2017- but not in a box set, it was six separate books that were previously owned by my cousins. Since I had nothing new to read at that time, that morning when I finished unwrapping the rest of the presents I picked up The Sight and started to read. I've been reading Warriors ever since then.
For my internet Warriors story, I first found the old website from a link on the back of the books and I went on that a lot. I still have a memory of quickly reading the River of Fire preview on the website one Sunday morning with my sister before we had to go to church... good times. I then found the Warriors Wiki after that, but I don't remember how. From a link on there, I found BlogClan in summer 2018, and then I found the forums in December 2018 when I was looking for The Apprentice's Quest bonus scene. I was never active on the forums until August 2019, and started posting on this account when I was able to find it again in February 2020.

I Still remember the Original Warrior cats website , with the Animation of the Warrior cats fighting eachother , and the Terrible Audio piece of them Snarling and Hissing at eachother, which didn’t sound like a cat that well. And all the Quizzes , and then the polls they’d hold , asking he Fans what they wanted/expected to happen in the next book . And the Author Q&A’s , oh yeah good times . Oh yes that intro was the best xD I remember there was a game where you were an apprentice (I think?) and you had to survive by moving square by square through a bunch of maps. I only won once, I never played again after that lol. It was a really neat game though.
