Grant-Kratos City-Irabinna Grant looked at him, taking a quick breath to settle his nerves. "Um...d-do you know where most of...the battles happen," he asked him, though it took him more time as he had to get rid of his stutter. He had never been to Kratos City before, as he often avoided the city, not liking its tendencies for battles. He didn't know if this trainer was a local or not, but he just hoped at least that he had been here before and could point him in some direction. |

"Colosseum," he says coldly. What he was trying to say, in the little words he spoke, was it's common knowledge that Kratos City is known for its battles. The colosseum is where a lot of battles take place, but come on. In this city, there are battles everywhere. Ira has a very hard time expressing himself, as it could be seen with his talk with Grant. He is always very short and to the point in his conversations, that it's hard for anyone to pull more than one word out of him for any question. It's as if he was a block of wood. His thoughts and mouth run on completely different motors, and although his Pokemon understood what he was saying, other humans didn't, tending to misunderstand him quite a bit. |

Grant-Kratos City-Irabinna Grant looked down, pulling out his phone to see if where it was located, as he already felt guilty for bothering the other trainer, more then he already seemingly had. "T-thank you," he said with a small bow. He should have figured the Colosseum would be were the most battles occurred. "S-sorry...for bothering you." He backed away from the other trainer glancing down to his phone as he tried to look at the route it was giving him to the new destination he had. |

Ari-Kappa City-Thalia "I have none for this region," he confirmed. "But I have 8 from Hoenn." He watched her interact with her pokemon. He din't know what one it was, having never seen it in Hoenn. "What pokemon is that," he asked her. He would figure out more about the gym later. "I just haven't seen it before is all." He doubted his pokedex would be of help at the moment, so he couldn't try that and see if it will tell him. Sorry for the late response, last couple days have been a bit hectic.) "Oh, so you're a pretty veteran trainer then. I'm just starting out myself." Thalia commented in response to learning he already had 8 gym badges in another region. In response to Ari's question she replied "This is Cannon and he's a Clauncher - a pure water type Pokémon." Cannon looked up at Thalia at the mention of his name. "Hey, do you mind showing me your Pokémon? I'm curious to see what the team of a trainer with eight badges looks like." |

Jay-Nike Town-Alexander "I can imagine it gets boring out on that island," he joked towards the champion. He could recall his own attempt with the elite four beofre he became a gym leader. He had made it past the first three, but was completely destroyed by the fairy elite four member. "I've been alright, no challengers as of late, which has made for it to be quite boring, but hopefully that changes otherwise I might die from boredom and we will be down a leader," he said, playing it up a bit. As much as he hated the free time, it did allow for him to train with his team to achieve his own goals. Alexander chuckles a little bit. "That would be a dang shame. I like to think you bring life to your gym battles. Dragon types are powerful creatures yet they need a certain type of person to tame them." Training one dragon was one thing but having a whole team of them was a challenge unto itself. "Hopefully, as the games grow closer, you will have more challengers." |

Lani: Pandora city with Signe ( 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛) Lani glanced over at Chomper before taking up the rear. Her Pokémon follows right beside her keeping an eye out as usual. Least, they were finally moving and hopefully everything would go according to plan. She noticed a few people watching them but didn't do anything. Most were used to it.

Ari thought it over before giving a shrug. He saw no issue with showing his team, he was planning to let them out anyways. *taking out six quick balls, he saw an open space that was out of the way, tossing them in the air to release his team. What was released was a Sceptile, a Swampert, a Mighthyena, a Manetric, a Metagross and a Flygon. "Here they are," he said featuring to his team as he walked over, petting the Mighthyena on the head as she ran up to him. Jay eyes light up at the mention of dragon types, with a small embarrassed blush at the praise from the other. He could go on and on over dragon types but right now he felt the champion would not appreciate having his ear talked off before he would need to get it talked off by reporters. He nodded in agreement with the last statement. "I would love for that to be true! If I don't maybe I'll try and partake in the games if I'm allowed." |

Ira wasn't one to lose his temper, but Grant was just too mouse-like, and cowardly, that it made Ira a little frustrated. He sighs, runs a hand through his short hair, and grabs Grant's top at his neck. "Follow," he says in a rather short tone. He sent his Pokemon except his Intelion back into their Pokeballs, and dragged Grant towards the colosseum. |

Ira's thoughts pause when he realises he never told the photographer his name. He looks down at the mousy man, and says, "Ira," while pointing to himself. He then points to his Intelion, and says, "Yarra." The once again, non-talkative Ira only gave two syllable, one-worded sentences. He barely even gave it a thought. His Intelion waves at Grant, but that was the extent of his friendliness. Both trainer and Pokemon were alike in more ways than one. |

Grant-Kratos City-Irabinna Grant blinked a bit at him, before it clicked what he meant. "G-grant," he introduced himself to the pair. He gave a small wave in return to the pokemon. He didn't mind how quiet the pair was, it helped his nerves, but it didn't make it easy to talk to them when there was so few words to work with. The blonde man walked along with the other trainer, as he messed with the scarf around his neck, as he untied and retied it in a more comfortable manner. |

Ira nods. Now he knew the photographer's name. He was quite pleased with the introductions. Ira frowns as he watches the man fidget. "You fidget...Why?" he mutters. What he was saying, was you fidget a lot. It can be quite annoying. Why are you so antsy? Ira, despite being a street kid, was very disciplined in daily life, and so fidgeting didn't really become a part of his behaviour. Of course, being with Pokemon 24 hours a day didn't help. All Ira really knew, was how to survive, and how to fight. |

They continued looking for a bit longer until Shen called out "Oh! Look over here!" through a thick patch of trees was a low cave-like area. Through some thick undergrowth you could see the entrance to a cave "Ghost pokemon love dark places like this, we should check it out." without even waiting for a reply he walked in. Gin noticed the two of them entering the cave and soared down to join the duo.

Signe continued to lead the small group, not speaking. She wasn't the type to bother with little details like that, only caring about things that their mission would rely on. She was certainly one of the most cold among the group. But she also wasn't as cruel as some others. Honestly, she was downright polite, but in the coldest way possible.

"Sure!" While Elia didn't worry too much about the upcoming gym battle he liked the idea of training a bit more. It would also help Ennea to warm up a bit more towards Lutra. He looked at Charlotte and Hiro. "You know, why not try and catch a new Pokémon while you're at it? I'm sure there are at least some Pokémon on the route that could work well with you and Hiro. Either way, let's get out there and train!"

Maro was taking a walk through the city, her Smeargle walking beside her. As there were no challengers right now she had some time for herself but she also kept her eyes out for any trainers that were new around here in case some of them wanted to battle. Today seemed to be one of those days where there wasn't much going on and she had already spend some time having her Pokémon train with each other.

Zinon stood before the old and weathered statue of Arceus, wondering how impressive it must have looked once. Meanwhile his Sandshrew was looking around the temple, trying to see as much as she could. "Stop moving so much," Zinon whispered to her but while he sounded slightly annoyed he couldn't help smiling a little at his curious partner. "Poke me with your claws again and I'm done carrying you." The Sandshrew huffed at this, knowing well enough that her trainer wasn't being serious, but settled down a little.

Grant-Kratos City-Irabinna "S-sorry...it just helps me calm down," he said, he was slowly growing used to the other, which aided in helping his stutter calm down. He didn't mean to fidget as much as he did when nervous, but something about the soft fabric of the scarf helped him calm down when his nerves where bothering them. He glanced up noticing the building they were coming up to. "Is..that it?" He looked briefly to see if the other would give confirmation to his question. Nanji-Pan Forest-Shen Nanji ran over at his call, Willow close behind him. When Shen went into the cave, the statement he had said before made sense to him. He trusted that the ghost hunter,and headed in after him. Willow giving a brief glance to Gin before she went into the cave after the two trainers. Nanji pulled out his phone turning on the flashlight to see better in the cave. |

Ira nods. He looks at the colosseum in happiness. Although he felt a little tired of Kratos City, this was the place that he got stronger. He will never forget that this was the place where he and his Pokemon grew when they were younger. He barely knew what a trainer was. All he knew, was that he wanted to get stronger with his family, and the only way he could do that was by going through the colosseum. That's why he always came back at least once a year to participate in the matches at the colosseum once more. He had a lot more to room to grow, and the colosseum was the best place to do that. He turns back to Grant. "Fight. Stronger," he says, nodding towards the colosseum. What he was saying, was you should fight. You'll get stronger that way, as will your Pokemon. If you want to be able to roam the Pato Region on your own, you're going to need strong allies.

You're my age, right? Isn't this temple wonderful? It would dbe nice if there were more around. Are you a trainer going around to the different Gyms? I haven't gotten any badges yet." Truth be told, Al is a very bright and cheerful boy. He talks a lot, and tends to stay away from fights, but due to his hot-headed nature, he does end up in a lot of them. His Zorua was still on his shoulder, while his Riolu and Chikorita were standing on eiither side. |

"N-no...I don't fight unless I have...to," he tried to explain. "I'll...just be an easy win...for whoever I fight." Truth be told he never has really battle experience against other trainers, most came from when he got into situations with wild pokemon. But with trainers? No, he either ran off instead of doing a battle or got defeated in about 10 minutes. "I...just came to take some photos is all." |

Ira gestures towards the colosseum. "Get stronger. Or die," he says flatly. As he said 'or die', he ran his thumb across his neck for effect. What he was trying to say though, was if you don't get stronger, you'll most likely die the next time you meet a hostile trainer. You're so weak and timid, if you don't get stronger, you'll never last. Ira has always had a weak spot for those weaker than him. It reminded him of the time when he was being raised by his Pokemon team. They were truly a family, but if it wasn't for his good luck, he would've died much earlier. |

He moved to head into the building. He looked around the colosseum, there were already battles going on it seemed, which mental he would be able to get some action shots like he had intended when he came here. |

Ira heads in after Grant. The 21-year-old male was feeling up for a fight. In fact, he was itching for a fight. He looks around, wondering who he should battle. He didn't want to battle Grant, so he went in the opposite direction to Grant. He looks around trying to find the right opponent. He wanted someone new. He was tired of his old opponents and wanted something fresh so that his Pokemon would get a good workout.

Grant-Kratos City-Irabinna Grant watched some of the battles, jumping when a dodged attack got to close for comfort. Moving to walk more on the outside of the areas, hoping that would keep him out of the way. He took his camera out, and started to work on taking a few pictures. When he took enough to be satisfied with, he out the camera back in the bag, thinking about what Ira had said. He looked around to see if anyone was available to try and battle, as much as the idea didn't appeal to him at the moment. |

Ira finally finds an opponent he hadn't fought before, and issues a duel. In this fight, he decided to only use his Plusle and Minun. Both electric type Pokemon were the weakest of them all. Maybe it's because he can only use them in double battles. His Plusle is the attacker, and his Minun is the helper. The only attacks his Minun knew were Quick Attack and Electro Ball. His Copycat couldn't really be called an attack since it copied the previous move that was used. And that's exactly what they did. His Plusle used Agility, and his Minun used Copycat. Now both his Plusle and Minun were using Agility, and were much faster than before. They needed the speed since the attack of Electro Ball grew as they went faster. After Agility, both his Plusle and Minun used Quick Attack, before finally using their Electro Ball. All Ira did, was stand there, and say three things: "Agility", "Quick", and "Electro". Despite only saying three words, his Plusle and Minun worked in tangent, and perfectly pulled off all three moves. |

Upon hearing someone walk up to him Zinon looked up while his Sandshrew fidgeted again, this time to get a look at whoever was approaching them. He suppressed a sigh as the other boy talked but managed to keep a neutral expression. As Alkimos introduced himself Zinon briefly looked him over and glanced at the three Pokémon that were with him. Meanwhile his Sandshrew had focused her attention on the Chikorita. For a moment she seemed wary of it but relaxed as soon as she realized that this Pokémon was no real threat. "You should see Trojan City then," Zinon said as the other boy had said his part. "The ruins and the Hall of Ancients aren't half-bad." Seeing no real reason to act hostile or too indifferent he allowed himself a brief smile. "But yeah, looks like we're about the same age. I'm Zinon." Noticing her trainer's somewhat relaxed attitude around this stranger Sandshrew gave a cheerful cry and lifted one arm to wave at Alkimos and his three Pokémon. "I'm a trainer too but I haven't really thought about taking on the gyms yet. I'd probably get sidetracked all the time. There's just too much Pato has to offer."

I have Sofija, Ceri, and Engi open) Grant-Kratos City Grant had gotten into a battle, but he didn't really know what he was doing fully. He had his Leafeon out against an Infernape. He knew he was at a type disadvantage by a lot, as he fiddled with the Pokemon's ball. "Leafeon, g-grass whistle," he stammered quickly. Leafeon gave a nod to her trainer's command. He hoped to at least get the fire type asleep and hopefully get a few hits in before it woke up. Jay-Nike Town-Alexander Mentioning those two trainers, especially Lance, was a mistake. As Jay's eyes light up more then they already were, as he grabbed on to Alexander's arm. "Lance is going to be there," he said loudly. The man was practically bouncing now. "I cnat wait!!! Can't it just be the Helios Games now!!!" He had no qualms that he was practically shouting, opposed to just talking loudly, but this was something worth shouting for in the man's eyes. "Do you think I would ever get the chance to bottle them?? Especially Lance!!" |

Ira, and his Plusle and Minun were battling against a Vaporeon and Jolteon. Not knowing what abilities the two Pokemon had was exhilarating. He loved the unknown in battles. It was always the unknown that made battles so exciting. He wondered if the Jolteon had the Quick Feet ability or Volt Absorb. If it was Volt Absorb, then he would only be able to use Quick Attack and Copycat. If it was Quick Feet though, well his Plusle and Minun were fast enough. He was sure they'd be able to beat the Jolteon before it ends up with a status like paralysis. As for the Vaporeon, neither of his Pokemon were water types, and since it's not raining, Water Absorb and Hydration wouldn't come into effect on this battlefield. All Ira could bet on was for the Jolteon to not have the Volt Absorb ability. ( Hawkeyes258 where are they located?) |

Leafeon looked back at her trainer in confusion, not understanding why she wasn't being given another move. "Um...dig," he said. The Leafeon nodded and dove under the ground forming a hole. Grant watched the ground. "Magical leaf," he managed to yell out a bit, the Leafeon bursting from a new opening and sent out the dark leaves. Unfortunately his yelling had caused for the opponents pokemon woke up and followed it strainers command to use fire pledge. |

Unfortunately, the Jolteon did have the Volt Absorb ability, so the two Electro Balls he sent its way were absorbed. Since the Jolteon had a full Hp, the Electro Balls did nothing. "Quick," Ira barks as the Jolteon and Vaporeon attacked. He was glad the abilities his Plusle and Minun had made it so they wouldn't be effected by electric type moves. The Jolteon used Thunder Fang, then Quick Attack, and the Vaporeon used Water Pulse, then Aurora Beam. Ira's Plusle didn't stop the Thunder Fang, allowing it to hit her. She then aims a Spark at the Vaporeon. Ira's Minun dodges the Water Pulse using its Quick Attack, but is hit by the Aurora Beam. |
