I saw Labyrinth for the first time yesterday. It was... ehhh. I don't really know why people like this movie so much, i guess just because David Bowie is in it? But the plot was pretty weak. I think it holds up better aesthetically. The puppeteering was more charming than the actors but even that can only do so much with cringey dialogue and plot holes the size of texas.
Dance Magic Dance does slap though.

Really late to this but omg Labyrinth reference 🤯 my mom loves the little British worm that shows up for about a minute
Out of the older Jim Henson movies though, I am a firm Dark Crystal enjoyer, those puppets are just. Incredible.

Really late to this but omg Labyrinth reference 🤯 my mom loves the little British worm that shows up for about a minute Out of the older Jim Henson movies though, I am a firm Dark Crystal enjoyer, those puppets are just. Incredible. LOVE the Dark Crystal, i've been meaning to get into some of the more supplementary content to it butnso far I have just seen the movie and know a sparse few things about the tabletop because i thought about mixing gelfling in to a campaign and never did. |

I think i'm missing the point of adulthood that older adults and some of my other peers are having where im supposed to be crabby and think things kids are doing are cringe or weird and complain about how different they are and better we had it because every time i see kids doing funny weird shit i look at it with a nostalgia and fondness and kind of just wish i had that sort of energy back. how are you going to be mean about kids having fun?

Heya! Not me reading the first 7 posts before I realized this wasn’t started recently- I also have C-PTSD! WOOOOO! Now I think I know, but I’d like some clarification… what does homoflexible mean? Read through the whole thing if you feel like it, I don't care.
Homoflexible is under the bi umbrella and for me (since not everyone uses the same labels the same way) I could, potentially also become attracted to a woman under certain circumstances. Theres no real sfw way for me to explain it beyond that since sexuality is sexual, but on the whole I'm not attracted to women/fem-presenting at all. But say hypothetically, if I already had a male/masc partner who ended up becoming trans for example when we were already in the relationship I wouldn't lose the feelings for them. Or if a transwoman was still masculine-presenting or decided to not undergo surgery. In my mind, they fall in a sort of "grey area" because trans women ARE women, but I can't really force my brain into liking cis women because I just don't?
But I don't consider myself bisexual because that set of circumstances had to be extremely specific and throughout my entire life I've only ever dated cis men. Basically: it's not an impossibility but extremely unlikely. I like the homoflexible flag for the "maybe".
