I know I'm interesting, it just boils down to that I wish more people talked to me and wanted to hold conversations about things I enjoy.
I always feel like I'm the one putting in the work to ask questions and be interested in other people's lives and ideas and the only one who does that for me is... well, you. My roommate doesn't even really listen to me go on anymore cause he's always saying he is too overwhelmed for new information. Which I understand and respect cause I get like that too. But just. :(

www.listchallenges.com/the-ultimate-movie-checklist/list/12Did this and got 144/447. Better than 58% of users who took it. It's weird to see just how many I have or havent seen, though there were a few movies I have seen I was expecting to be on there that just weren't, cause the first movies were on there, but then some movies also included their sequels, and some didn't. The quiz was made in 2014 so that accounts for a few sequels, but like for example it has the first Ice Age, but not 2-4 with 4 being made in 2012, 5 in 2016, and 6 this year. Or Cars but not Cars 2. Madagascar but not Madagascar 2 or The Penguins of Madagascar. I bring these up cause it seemingly goes out of it's way to list every Disney Movie Known To Man and then... forgets Pixar and smaller studios entirely.

I don't really wanna turn my thread into a dumpster fire of commentary that could go bad, but I will say this, and then drop the subject.
People can and have held personal predjudices against white people and do absolutely exist. But they are just that- personal.
There is also no inherent, systemic or even remotely applicable racism towards white people in the US and UK.
Other places... sometimes do, but from what I have heard, even some places that are racist towards white people come nowhere NEAR the level of what- especially America- puts people of color through.
There are also just times where minorities get exhausted with majority bullshit and need to just say something to let off steam about how frustrating it is to be steped on all the time. -Which is usually what these people come in. They just don't want to hear complaints about things they are probably doing or contributing to whether they are aware of it or not.
It's also just so very telling, if you're venting about something, if someone complains about the way you are venting that they either take offense because you hit a nerve and were inadvertently calling out their own guilt and/or the person wasn't as safe and friendly as you thought they were. Which is also pretty upsetting to realize.
And anyway, if people can say racist things, and then claim to be half-whatever as an excuse for spewing their garbage, then I'm part white! And I say white people like cheese!

The only cheese I don't like is blue cheese. But it's mostly because my gut seems to hate things with extra live cultures. I can't stomach yogurt either even though I handle most normal milk fine. Though I don't handle thick creams very well either.

For being a movie called Dragon Ball Super Hero and being marketed as if it's Gohan's big movie to, it was really more like Piccolo's No Good Very Bad Day. Like seriously. The return of the Red Ribbon Army AND Cell , all in one afternoon before he picks up Pan from preschool. I guess for the saiyans being a deadbeat father runs in their blood. This is the third child he's just straight up babysat. Jokes aside, I loved it. |
