Would anyone be interested in making a dawn of the clans rp with me?
It would start at the tribe with everyone deciding that the best thing is for a group to leave an find a new home (just like with the DOTC books).
It would then follow their journey to a new land and then continue on into the making of the clans, the finding of Starclan and the codes and just everything.
It would basically be like our own DOTC series and then maybe the clan will even go beyond that and survive the first year and become a main clan on the forums? Idk.
Just thought it was a cool idea is all.
We would have our own clan names and all that instead of taking the names from the books of course.

FeatherstarThat'd be awesome! I would make one as well. And then also a cat who would become a medicine cat!! (I like rping medicine cats and doing forbidden romances. XD. Though with it being so early in the clans it wouldn't really be forbidden at the time. Lol)

That puts us at four clans!
I'm fine with however many really.
I had an idea. Each of us can create our own territory for each of our clans and those territories will all get set together on the full scale of the new land the tribe cats find? That way there's a larger chance of some really great diversity. I suggest trying to go unique with the territory.

or if you want i can find a blank fantasy map and use illustrator on my laptop to make the territories i tend to find a lot with unique geography

Ember34Maybe?? I had a really unique landmark area I wanted to do. For the territory I wanted to make I was gonna have it where the ground starts more even with a normal forest but the further in you get the land starts to slope and gets more hills and crevices and such and you start to see cherry blossom trees before all of the trees change to cherry blossoms (and the camp would be back in that area as well)

so i have an idea, kinda basiung it off my own home land haha
but anyways for mine im thinkings its flat land, with scattered forest lingering around it, with streams that run through the plain parts, and in the far corner there is a small patch of where the land gets rocky and that is where their camp is settled among caves that got formed from erosion

So for now you can do one of two things.
You can just type out the main of the territory itself OR you can type out the territory and plan where the camp will be OR you can type of the entire territory with camp and landmarks (though the landmarks wouldn't exist at first as they would be found and named through the rp)

Once all of the territories are made and we decide where each one sits and get a full view of the land we can choose where the group stays upon first arriving.
We also need to figure out the type of land their leaving (where the tribe's home is) and how their journey might look (or we can just go into the journey completely blind and decide along the way.
For where the tribe lives I was thinking that it use to be a sprawling, beautiful forest but then two-legs started building two-leg places and now it's just a smaller park area in the center of a huge two-leg place and it can't support how many cats are in the clan anymore.
(The park area would be about a quarter the size of central park)

maybe a fjord type territory maybe? i dont see that get used a lot and leaves a lot of reasons for leaving
1. a lot more twoleg activity
2. rising sea levels/lowering sea levels
3.prey becoming scarce from the ships
4. the twolegs start trying to chase them off(by trapping/killing/etc)
those were the firs tones that came to mind

How about an over-packed tribe on a mountain? Too many cats would be liveing there at once and there would not be enough prey for everybody?

How many clans will it split into? I could make a dep for one of em, or leader if we need one right now we're st four clans. Not sure how many we want to split into yet. Guess that would be up to everyone as a whole. |
