i would be fine with either and compiled two lists for the cats i would be using, one list was done in the traditional tribe names and the other in ancient names!!
i like tribe names more just because i love the fact they get based off what the mother sees when the kit is born, but i feel the ancient names will be easier for people to work with, and easier for posts/replies
what kind of form should we use as well? or would you use one similar to the descent clans form??

On the topic of names, what if they had some sort of reason to have a different style of name? Maybe a smaller group of cats integrated with the tribe for some reason, so they now have born and raised tribe cats with traditional tribe names, then cats who were originally in the integrated group or possibly a generation or two down the line using the ancient styled names. We obviously don't have to use that if y'all don't want to, but I figured it'd help giving an explanation for it.

-Lucent means to glow and cherry blossoms are known to almost glow in the moonlight
-Elysian means blissful, delighted
-Ephemeral means lasting for a very short time and cherry blossoms <which are a part of my territory> only bloom for two weeks)
