Funny how the acronyms for Squirrelflight's Hope and Spottedleaf's Heart are the same. They both suck and in my opinion Squirrelflight's hope was a waste of money

Otherwise nobody would know what I was talking about if I don't clarify the book. :U

I didn't like The Raging Storm. It was too plain in my opinion. Darktail being killed in Shattered Sky just ruined the 2nd half of A Vision Of Shadows (Darkest Night, River Of Fire and The Raging Storm) for everyone who had read up to that point and everyone who read it after.
Even The Broken Code is doing way better, with the villain of The Broken Code living into book 6 based off of A Light In The Mist's blurb!

Both Bramblestar's Storm and Squirrelflight's Hope are rather bad.
The former Super Edition has no real overarching plot or end goal but at least it got some great character moments while almost everyone was behaving completely atrocious in the latter book except for maybe Leafstar and Hawkwing.

Spottedleaf's Heart - They should have went a different route with with a novella about her, I am not sure what I would want it to be, but not what it is now. I also did not like that she did not want to be a medicine cat initially.
Pebbleshine's Kits - This book is completely forgettable, the only thing that stands out to me is how Pebbleshine stayed behind as a ghost to watch over her kits, but that is not shown in the main series. Now, if she were to show up in The Broken Code, then I might remove this from the list.
Thunder's Echo - They killed Lightning Tail!!! I feel so bad for Acorn Fur, she lost her parents, her brother, and then she could not be with Red Claw. I know that this is not part of the novella, but I just feel bad for her, I hope she had a happy life as a medicine cat at least. Acorn Fur novella when??
Shadowstar's Life - They killed Sun Shadow!!!!

Spottedleaf's Heart. Pure, unadulterated garbage. Not only does it have an extremely dangerous message & inappropriate elements for a series aimed toward a young audience--the whole novella goes against Spotted's original canon reason to become a medicine cat, as I'm 99% sure that Bluestar said that she wanted to be a medicine cat all her life. Instead, they yeeted that (the arguably most interesting thing about her) into the abyss. The novella is non-canon for me personally.

I haven't read Spottedleaf's Heart and don't intend to, so I'm ignoring this for now.
I'd have to say I'm super easily pleased, but the latter half of AVOS just didn't grab me and it's the only warrior books so far that I've abandoned and skipped, reading summaries to prepare me for TBC. I liked the first few but didn't enjoy Twigbranch or Violetshine much as protagonists. There isn't anything wrong per say with them or anything in these books but they didn't resonate with me. Had some cool ideas overall though.

I disliked POT and OOTS.
They were plotless and boring. Also led to the atrocity that is The Broken Code.

Worst main series book: Thunder Rising Worst main series book I actually care about: Twilight Worst Super Edition: Bluestar's Prophecy Second-Worst Novella: Dovewing's Silence.
Edit because I missed the "and why":
Thunder Rising holds the prestigious dishonor of being the only Warriors book I've ever started and DNF'd. DotC as a whole holds that dishonor at the arc level as a consequence. (Though TBC is quickly approaching a tie here)
Twilight was okay but it's my least favorite of the first 24 books (which is as far as my personal canon extends).
Bluestar's Prophecy had a completely unrelatable character (to me personally) who was dumb and made bad decisions I couldn't empathize or even sympathize with. The conflict was contrived and I couldn't follow the logic.
Obviously SH gets the worst novella award, so I noted second place instead. This is the book that made me disregard it and everything after it as canon. It was frustrating and the main gimmick (The three losing their powers) just doesn't make sense to me.
