♦ Fire Emblem: Three Houses, EoaNA {Planning / Discussion}

Just realized I haven't really finished my newer characters personal skills xD Also decided to give Néo one after all since he will get to fight whenever there's a mission at Garreg Mach and also during Ciarra's mission.

Tahvo | | Doubles stat boosts gained from supports. Only applies to stats raised by unit with the most support points.
Néo | Show-off | increases speed and attack and lowers defense and avoid when initiating combat while fighting adjacent or next to a human.
Larissa | Thanatophobia | increases defense, speed and avoid but lowers attack, crit and accuracy when health is lower than half.

Yup. We might have to take into account how long some of them will take though depending on where they're set. But maybe we won't have to be too strict about it? Sure, a mission or paralogue near one of the borders or even in another country will take longer than one that's closer to the monastery but we don't want them to spend weeks on it either. They can't miss too many of their classes, after all, and they'll also have to be back in time for the missions. Let's just say they somehow manage to travel pretty fast.

Not easy coming up with something for him. Maybe foes defeated by him drop more gold? Some stat boosts when he's fighting alongside other beastkin? Yeah, no idea either.

Yup! And around the same time Akakios will be back from his little mission at the Fódlan/Morfis border and will cast suspicion on Tahvo, Yutaka and Larissa for being the only outsiders who were ignored by the cult.

So... first we have the Ethereal Moon mission which is going to end horribly. Then, during the Guardian Moon, Akakios will impersonate Amatus to bully Neason. How long will it take for Neason to run off on his own? Maybe around the middle or end of the month? Ciarra's mission is set for the Pegasus Moon, after all, so unless we want him missing for almost two months he can't run away too soon. Depending on when exactly he'll leave I'll set Tahvo's paralogue for either Guardian Moon (if Neason leaves mid-month) or Pegasus Moon.
Not sure when I'll do Nora's paralogue yet but I'll plan Agnar's for either Horsebow Moon or Red Wolf Moon, around the start of the month.

Depending on the paralogue it might not even matter when they take place. Sure, for some it's important but for others it's irrelevant. I haven't fully planned out mine yet either. Sure, I already know that all three of them will get to wield their relics after their paralogues but I still have to figure out some of the details.

Nora's paralogue could be set pretty much anywhere but I'm gonna pick the Blue Sea Moon. For her I only know that her father wants her to deal with a small group that's causing trouble on their territory. They could either be bandits who are attacking merchants or they could be some pissed off commoners trying to revolt. Anyway, by successfully dealing with that her father will allow her to finally use the relic.

Agnar's paralogue is set for the Red Wolf Moon because I want it to take place after the Verdant Rain Moon plot and also because I've already chosen Horsebow Moon for Vincent's mission. Anyway, I think this paralogue will be set in Albinea. It's mostly about protecting some hunters from some demonic beasts. Every year during the Red Wolf Moon the people of Agnar's village set out for a big hunt but the problem is that during that month there's a higher risk of encountering demonic beasts. His father wants him to participate because they want as many experienced fighter as possible and also because he wants to see how much his son has learned so far, if the battle techniques and leadership skills he's acquired in Fódlan really give them the advantage he has hoped for. And of course it's also a test to see if Agnar is ready to wield the relic.

As for Tahvo, his paralogue will be set in Fódlan, not too far from the monastery. See, his tribe doesn't actually have the relic associated with his crest. They know that it exists but apparently Louhi has hidden her shield somewhere in Fódlan. Anyway, one day Tahvo hears a rumor about someone who's found a shield that's very similar to the known relics. Some crestless noble who has been disowned by her family has been seen with it. Since at this point the students will already know what happens if someone without a crest tries to wield a relic Tahvo will try to track that person down. He won't tell any of the knights or professors since as far as they know it's just a rumor. Anyway, once he finds that person and her small group of followers (other disowned nobles) he tries to warn her of what will happen, to no avail. So he and whoever went with him will have to fight one transformed demonic beast and the other disowned nobles.

Kinda hard to figure out the right time for Elara's paralogue. When do you think she'll have some friends outside of her class? We also have to do that small subplot before. You know, some suspicious individuals sneaking around the town and the gates of the monastery.

Oh wow, poor Searc. First you come up with such a cruel thing to put him through and then you forget about it xD

Sounds like a good month for it then!

That would be Orryn, Yutaka and Imrie, right? Maybe Imrie's could be set in or near Sreng.

You know, with all the angst in the later months we'll really need some more relaxed stuff sometimes. Just the kids bonding and having fun. Both to balance it out a bit and to make the later months even worse for everyone!

Makes sense

At first glance they might seem like they're the most fun out of the groups and I guess they are. Just some kids who enjoy their time at Garreg Mach and they're also quick to bond with each other, at least most of them. But they're also the ones who get the most angst dumped on them during the year. Sure, the other Houses get to suffer too, especially once the reveal happens, but the Deer just seem to get the worst of it.

Just some fun moments in between. Gotta make Searc feel appreciated before everything goes to hell. Let everyone have some joy every now and then, especially before the Ethereal Mission starts! Have them feel super confident before they do that mission, the shit that happens next will hit them even harder then! But yeah, after that it will be just pure angst xD And it's not like everything before that will be all sunshine and rainbows, we have the Garland Moon mission after all. And the Verdant Rain Moon events too! And the Blue Sea Moon mission could be slightly traumatizing too. But don't forget all the fun festivals between some of the missions xD All I'm saying is that letting them have both some happiness and angst before the Ethereal Moon will make everything after that even more painful for them. See, I'm just being pragmatic here ^^

What about the others? I mean, Elara and Yutaka won't have an easy time either. Same goes for Jason. Anyone else you wanna torment? As for my non-Deers, Néo will get his fair share of angst.

Haha, I bet. Then again almost all of the foreigners (except for Yutaka, Larissa and Tahvo) will have to deal with the Verdant Rain Moon events which is already bad enough. Nothing against torturing some of them even more afterwards though. There's more than one way to put them through trauma.

Oh hell no! xD Unless... maybe after the reveal? Either the agarthans causing conflict between Fódlan and Albinea or some of the agarthans themselves trying to attack the other countries.

although maybe bring the cats into it would be interesting, as long as they arent hurt of course, perhaps they just get locked up somewhere for some duration or something, but eh we shall leave the felines alone
