And yesss it really leaves many things to his fate in the end game, either imprisonment, death or demonic beast transformation

And hmm maybe the word thing I could do it garland moon, as it will a) show how big of a piece of shit he is, give agarathans k owledge of his clear favoritism towards neason, c) sets up pur whole joke of after the garland moon that searc just basically gets adopted by other people cause **** his dad

And then after neason leaves guardian moon, they go to desai and start working good old manipulation to get him on their side just for the resources he could provide them in their goals for the time being, and maybe even use him as a fall guy should they need to retreat to restatigize

But I like the whole late regular student that they can bond with, cause when akakios is coveting his tracks he has another person he could try frame as well if he should need it, should the student be around to frame

Yea haha I wish I didn't have to, last week I worked every single day, mostly night shifts and I was so dead that week, but one job is working Concessions at the hockey area on my campus and my parents told me I ne3d3d another job since there's not always gonna be home games for hockey/basketball : p so I got a second job

Neason would 100% try his best that mission, try and really show leadership, and common sense, just basically the opposite of how he normally is, to ensure everything goes well and nothing happens to searc, but yep all in vain cause desai still gets upset and punishes searc

The others will definitely help him out if he told them how important that mission is. They'd even help him study when it comes to tactics and strategy, at least those who have some knowledge of it. The whole Golden Deer House pitching in to help Neason prepare for this mission!

I was kinda wondering about that too. If he did it in front of everybody he'd make himself even more unpopular. But most of the Deer are commoners anyway and I guess Desai doesn't give a shit what these "low-lifes" think, and it's not very likely for them to speak out against it anyway, at least none of my characters.
Akakios will definitely be disgusted but he won't step in because admitting to himself that he actually feels bad for one of those surface dwellers is beneath him. And he also has to stay in character and Julius would probably not try anything that would cause even more trouble for Searc.
Not entirely sure about Callan. He'd either have to be restrained so he doesn't attack Desai or he is capable of holding himself back, knowing that there's no way he could just attack a noble without any consequences. He would definitely understand that it would also reflect badly on Philomel. You know, one of his students stepping out of line. So yeah, I hope he can either stand back or that the others can stop him from doing anything dumb.
Tahvo won't like it either but whatever he thinks about this, he will keep it to himself.

By the way, does Desai tolerate beastkin? Just wondering if he sees them as animals, freaks or something like that. Maybe he doesn't want them to use their beastform on his territory at all, forcing Rekka and Tahvo to rely on weapons or magic for this mission. Or he is fine with it, comparing them to hunting dogs or something like that.
