"It's alright," Cody groans when he hears Charli. He was just waking up, and still groggy. He slowly rubs the sleep from his eyes. Cody looked extremely innocent, as he took his time getting up. His blonde hair was tousled, but he looked good. His eyes were a little red from rubbing them so much. It looked like he had just cried, and it made him look adorable.
"Did you finish the movie?" he asks, yawning. He sits up, and stretches, his shirt lifting a bit and showing his stomach. He blinks a few times, before getting up. He slowly rolls his shoulders, trying to get a kink out of his neck. It was sore from the posture he was sleeping in. "That feels good," he groans as relaxes. "Then let's do it tomorrow. I think that's enough for flowers. So, we've done flowers and colouring for the decorations. Now we need a cake. We don't have to deal with the size, since we still don't know how many people we're inviting, but we should choose the colour and flavour..." he says, looking at his notes. He looks back up at Yuda. "I never thought planning a wedding would take so long, but with you, it'll be fun."

"Oh I see." By the look of things, Alexei would guess that Arlen had been here, training, for some time already. The son of Hades had exerted enough effort that his sweat was making his shirt stick to his skin, making it very clear exactly how strong the guy actually was. Suddenly, Lex felt a little bit insecure in his baggy white t-shirt and pajama pants. Here at Camp, where everyone was a product of a god, he was already on the shorter side. Add to that the fact that he was lean, not toned, but not particularly muscular, tended to make him feel like he maybe didn't belong.
"Seems like you've already been here a while. You always get up this early?"
He noticed the look in Arlen's eyes, that cold glare he sported all the time walking by himself around camp for who knows what reasons, but he chose to ignore it, as he always does. Part of Lex wonders every time he sees Arlen why he even tries to talk to him anymore. But the other parts of him know that he's somewhat in denial. All his life, nobody has ever refused Lex's advances, whether for friendship or something more. One smile from him and people would soften up, and people loved when he asked questions to get to know them. He had always had this infallible formula for how to make friends, but Arlen seemed immune to all of his efforts. He was in denial, he couldn't believe that there was someone out there who didn't want to be friends. Besides, it didn't help that Arlen was, well, kind of attractive. Lex kept finding that he couldn't just let it go.
Lex crossed his arms, tracking Arlen's sword movements with his eyes. "I never usually get up this early. But I'm glad I did!" He smiled. "We never get a chance to talk."

Charli smiles at the drowsiness in Cody’s face. Oh, what she would do to see that face every morning. Her sleepiness had subsided since she took her time to get up. “The movie? No.” Charli also yawns, catching it from Cody. “Did you?” She stretched a little as she walked away from the couch and towards the bathroom, managing to only bump into the side table on her way there. A few moments later, Charli reemerged with a hand towel and was in the process of drying her face and hands. She had also removed her ponytail holders to release the full afro although it still loosely held the shape of the previous form.
“Should I make some coffee?” She asks, looking over at Cody before sliding into the kitchen and starting the coffee machine anyways. Coffee was Charli’s normal morning drink of choice, she loved it, which inspired her to get that job as a barista. She nibbled on a slice of pizza that was leftover from last night, not worried that it had sat out all night. “We’re gonna go shopping today.” Charli announced excitedly. She hopped up on the counter to sit and wait for the coffee pot to fill.

Arlen Draco ❀ ♂ ❀ 18 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ IC:
Arlen noticed his look of insecurity, and pauses. He had just finished his set of 100, and since Lex was bothering him, Arlen didn't feel like training anymore. He also didn't want to strain his muscles too much. He was very strong, but that didn't mean he couldn't hurt himself if he went too far. He holds out the hilt of the sword for Lex to take.
"Train," he says, nodding to the sword in his hand. He ignored Lex's other question about him always training early. Arlen is the type to normally avoid others, but Lex was constantly trying to talk to him. Since he wanted to talk, it was better to get the boy to start training first. Otherwise, with his figure, he's going to die quickly when going on a quest.
In his time at Camp Half Blood, Arlen had seen campers die. As someone who didn't want to die, Arlen trained hard. He trained until he could barely stand, simply because he wanted to stay alive. He still held onto the hope that his brother would remember him and want to meet with him if he ever comes across him.
Looking at Lex, Arlen couldn't understand why there were so many people around the boy. He was loud and noisy, and never seemed to stop talking. Why doesn't anyone like peace and quiet nowadays? Why do they like being in the company of a chatterbox? Arlen remembered that his little brother was a chatterbox, and Arlen would always chatter along with him, but that was in the past. His brother is his blood. Lex wasn't.
He did have to admit though, that Lex was quite pretty for a male, but he looked as weak as a chicken. If Lex didn't shape up, he will never survive. Camp Half Blood was to help ensure their survival as children of Gods. They had to train, so that they could survive, and that's exactly what Arlen was going to do.
All of a sudden, Arlen punches out with the hand that was free, stopping it right in front of Lex's nose. Cody Lightheart ❀ ♂ ❀ 19 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OOC:

"Nope," he sighs. He didn't even remember what the movies were about. Cody starts jogging on the spot after he stretches his muscles, trying to get his blood pumping through his body. He was trying to get rid of the sleepiness he felt, and it was working... a little. When Charli emerged from the bathroom, Cody went in to wash his face. He comes back out seconds later.
"No, thank you Charli," Cody says with a grin. He runs a hand through his wet hair. "Really? Okay." He grabs the remaining pizza slice, chomping on it with gusto. "I'll just go change. When do you want to head out?"

"Okay, more coffee for me then." Charli said in-between bites of her pizza. Her laid back personality meant it took a moment for her to got going. Along with Charli's natural introversion, she knew she would need some extra energy to be at the mall. She paused between chews at Cody's surprise before swallowing. "Yeah, remember I said I wanted to go to the mall yesterday." The phrase came out more as a statement then a question. A little frown formed on her face, maybe he had forgotten. Or maybe he wasn't listening to her. Or maybe her mind was leading her down a dark rabbit hole and she needed to focus on what was actually happening by staying in the moment.
Charli leaned over on the counter to see the time on the microwave. "Hmm, there's like an hour before they open. So you have plenty of time to change. Plus I need to take care of this." She motioned to her hair, scrunching it in some places. It took a lot of product and time to take care of her hair, but Charlize had patience. Just like she had patience with her relationship with Cody. Patience and hope that one day this could develop beyond friendship and then life would be perfect. Rainbows and butterflies and all that. If only her heart didn't want to just blow the door off the hinges on her feelings.
"Let's meeet in an hour... hour and a half?" Charli asked, tilting her head to the side, looking over at him. She smiled, warmth in her eyes, and shoved the last bit of crust in her mouth before she could stumble and call him cute.

Cody smiles. "You said you wanted to go to the mall, but you didn't say you wanted to go shopping," he says, teasing slightly. He gently rubs between her eyebrows. "So don't go frowning like that. You'll end up with wrinkles." He gently runs a hand through a part of her hair. He found her curly hair very pretty. Without all the products and girly things she does to it, he still likes her without.
"I think you look fine without all the products. Very pretty," he muses. He does nod though. "Yeah. Half an hour is fine. I'm a guy, so I don't need that long." He pulls away, but not before rapping her head softly with his nuckles. "Don't go overboard with the products, alright? You look fine without them, and I like playing with your hair when it's not oily and tough."
Cody has learnt from experience that products for curly hair tends to make the hair stick together, turning it tough, or turns the whole head of hair a little oily, so that the frizz will calm down. He doesn't like the feel of it on his hands, and he did truly like playing with Charli's hair.
He bids her farewell, heading back to his apartment.

The pout Charli had felt coming on, quickly dissipated. "Oh, I thought that was implied." Jumping to conclusions would best her every time. "Wrinkles are inevitable." Charli informed him in a sing-song tone, at the same time relaxing her face. She felt like a cat when Cody touched her, she wanted to lean into it. This time she allowed herself to, as he ran his fingers through her hair. It sent sparks against her scalp and they tingled all the way down her body.
"Thank you." She responded to his compliment, a blush creeping it's way onto her cheeks. "Alright, I'll come over when I'm done then. And I'll try to restrain myself with the products." Charli would take his words for consideration when doing her hair. Him playing with her hair made her stomach do backflips, not in a bad way, more like the I'm-in-love-with-you-and-that-is-straining-my-self-control kind of way. Meditation was supposed to help with that, but it was failing her, hard.
In the time spent between then, Charli got dressed, did her hair, ate some breakfast, and consumed two cups of coffee. Then she was off to Cody's house with her bag in hand. The clock on the wall indicated that she was pushing an hour. She did her special knock on Cody's door, some familiar jingle, before entering on her own accord.
Today, Charlize was just as colorful as any other day. She wore lavender leggings with mesh cutouts, her favorite black combat boots and a peach crop top that exposed her midriff. The front of the shirt had the word "Peace" and a hand with the peace sign embroidered in white. Her ears adorned the usual gold earrings and her wrists, simple gold bracelets. They weren't real gold but Charli still enjoyed their hue. She took Cody's words to heart and let her hair rest today, pulling it out to a natural afro. Charli did steam it though to remove the dents from her hair ties.

Florence nodded, he wanted to taste it she could make the next one with less sweet and more alcohol. "It is four dollars, hun." The woman said starting to mix another drink for him. "I'll make this one with a little more of a kick." The woman placed the drink in front of him when another customer seated themselves not too far from them. For now, he had her undivided attention, "I'm Florence, a pleasure to meet you." She smiled softly taking his hand, her eyes locked with his for a moment. His eyes were beautiful, her cheeks flushed lightly and she quickly turned her attention to the new customer to distract her mind for a moment. "Hi welcome, what can I get ya." She served them a quick drink and returned to Garrett with a small smile, "How is that one?" The girl tilted her head slightly as her eyes met his once again.

Once reaching his apartment, Cody took his time when showering. He put the kettle on, so that he could make himself some tea. Unlike Charli, Cody didn't like the thought of letting his body rely on things such as caffeine, especially when caffeine is a drug. These types of stimulants definitely weren't good for the body in the long run, and so Cody made do with a good dose of tea and honey for his morning. Of course, he chose a tea that didn't have caffeine in it like Rooibos.
Putting the kettle on, Cody had a nice shower that took nearly no time at all. He towel dried his hair, and grabbed a neat set of clothes. He was too lazy to take the time to fold his clothes properly and place them in the closet, so he just left them in baskets around the room. He would sometimes trip, but that didn't matter since he was pretty lazy.
Yes, sloth is technically a sin, and laziness falls under it, but Cody didn't care. He was a demon in any case, and it wasn't like he was wanting to be an angel just because he didn't like innocents to be killed. He was a sloth, a glutton, very greedy, prideful and envious. That's already five of the seven deadly sins. All that remained, was lust and wrath, but frankly, those two emotions didn't really come up much. Let alone lust, the only time he'd feel wrathful, would be if anyone he loved was hurt.
And anyway, he did have some of the seven virtues. After all, he had patience, his chastity, and charity. Leaving the bathroom with a fresh set of clothes, and partially wet hair, Cody pours himself a nice cup of tea. Forgetting it was hot, he quickly burns his tongue on the first sip, before dropping the tea all over his clothes from flinching. He looks down at his tea-soaked clothing, and sighs, before quickly mopping up the mess he made, and heading back into the shower with a new change of clothes.
With all that happened, Cody didn't realise he was running late in meeting with Charli until he saw her as he exited the bathroom. He was wearing nothing but low-set jeans. His upper body showed, as he ran the towel through his hair once more. "Oh, hey Charli," he says with a sheepish grin. "I'm late because I dropped tea on myself. I had to take a second shower after mopping up my mess." Garrett ❀ ♂ ❀ Old, but looks like he's in his 20's ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OOC:

Garrett couldn't help but think, how cute, when he saw her flushed cheeks. "Nice to meet you, Florence," he says with a grin. He takes the drink after placing the change on the empty space before him. He was surprised at how cheap it was. He'd heard that the rates of currency were different from the last time he'd come, and he came prepared too. He had all sorts of coins and notes in his pocket just in case he needed them. Surprisingly, he needed smaller change than the one he gave.
Since he was still new to everything, all Garrett had were $100 notes, and he gave Florence one. He takes longer to drink this one. Even though the kick was stronger, it had very little effect on him still. It just wasn't up to the demon world standard. It would make a wonderful drink for the demon children though. He thought of getting some demons to learn how to make the drink for the demon children back in Hell.
As he drank slowly, he continued to watch Florence as she served the other customer. When she returned with a question, he couldn't help but smile at her some more. "It tastes really good," he says casually. "Definitely stronger than the first, and still as good. I really like it." And it was true. Garrett did like the flavour of it. Of course, it's not the kind of drink that would make him drunk. It is a good daily drink though. A much needed drink to spice up the day.

Charli was surprised to see Cody just in jeans, as she had mindlessly let herself in. “Oh, sorry.” She breathed, blinking rapidly as a wave of embarrassment came across her at catching him like this. The least she could do was shut the door, so she leaned back against it till it latched. “I shouldn’t just come in like that.” She half scolded herself but ended up also feeling amused at the situation she found herself in. Charli had seen him like that half a dozen times growing up, something about being in his apartment made it feel different.
“Did the tea stain your clothes?” A look of concern crossed her face. Many times, coffee or tea had been spilled on her, sometimes by her, at the coffee shop, so Charli had experience with it. “If you need me too, I can wash it out for you.” If she was going to be waiting for him, she might as well put herself to work, plus the longer the stain sat, the harder it would be to get it out.
"I’m not in any kind of a rush, so you can take your time if you still need to do something." Instead of finding a place to sit, she leaned on the wall and watched Cody.
Charli inhaled through her nose, the smell of the soaps Cody used lingered in the air. She was such a sensual person, always taking the time to notice how things felt, smelled, appeared, and of course tasted if you're talking about food. Charli was strongly guided by her heart and less so her head. Was it a downfall? She wasn't sure. At times it was either helpful or troublesome, nothing in between or constant for that matter.

"It's fine if you do. You can come and go any time you wish," Cody says calmly, as he finished drying off his hair. He moves to kiss her cheek. "I can do it, Charli. I'll wash it when we get back home later." He heads back to his room to grab his new shirt.
He pulls it on as he walks back out, the shirt stretching over his lean muscles. He chose a tighter shirt. It was short sleeved, a forest green in colour. His jeans were black, and not too loose, but not skinny jeans either. The darker colours brought out his light eyes and hair.
He moves over to where Charli was sitting, and bows to her, taking his hand, and kisses it. "Shall we go, my lady?" he asks, smiling up at her. He tucks her hand into the crook of his arm like a gentleman.

"Sounds like a date," he agreed, pulling out his phone to confirm that the weather would be decent tomorrow. So far it seemed so, with just a downcast of clouds, but no rain was confirmed. He grimaced when they got to the subject of cake. "I don't care much in regards to the cake, I'll trust you with that." A small blush formed on his face causing him to hide it from Caley's view. Catching her off guard was a talent of his. Charlize felt her heart panic as his face neared hers. A peck on the cheek was not so terrifying though, it was quick and soft. Still her mind had, of course, gone to other places. Charli tsked as he walked away, letting out a breath she was holding. What a tease. The burning sensation of a blush might as well never leave her face. She massaged her cheeks to try and coax the redness away.
"The stain probably won't even be noticeable since you wear all those dark colors." It took her a moment to come to this conclusion as she had been to distracted by other things. The color pallets between the two were contrasting. Charli was like the day, with her pastels and vibrant colors and then there was Cody with his dark shades and blacks like the night. She liked his style though, it complimented him well.
A laugh escaped her as she watched Cody and his theatrics. "We shall." Charli continued with the antics. "So princely, you're sure to make all the girls swoon." She teased as he tucked her hand into his arm and she gave it a light squeeze. "I call shotgun though." She stuck her tongue out at Cody as she implied that he was driving.

Caley frowns. "You don't want to go taste testing for the cake?" he asks. "I heard it's supposed to be the highlight, since normally a couple goes on a diet before the wedding. With the cake taste testing, they can eat all kinds of sweet goodies." Caley had honestly thought Yuda would like it. "I do need a direction to go in. Super sweet, sweet, sweet-sour, sweet-salty, barely sweet or not sweet. Our tastes would have changed in the years we've been apart, so I thought it would be a good bonding experience. Cakes like chocolate mud cake would be under the super sweet section. Cakes like a cheesecake would be in sweet-sour, and cakes with ingredients such as caramel would be in sweet-salty. Then there are cakes that don't have much sugar in them or no sugar."
Seeing Yuda's reaction to his statement made Caley happier. "Why not?" he asks. Cody Lightheart ❀ ♂ ❀ 19 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OOC:

"True," Cody laughs. "I dropped the tea on a dark red t-shirt. It shouldn't be much of a stain, but still, it'll just let it dry before seeing if there's a visible stain. I'll wash it affter that." Having lived as a mortal for so long, Cody had become proficient at household chores. It was something he'd never thought he'd have to do, yet it was refreshing that he could do such things. Before, he had so many demons taking care of his needs, he practically had nothing to do. He was a truly spoiled Prince of Hell.
"I'm only a prince to you, my lady," Cody says frankly. "I'll be your chauffeur, luggage carrier, and anything else you need. My lady will be the most pampered princess today." Cody would do anything for Charli anyday. She was his princess to cherish and pamper, and he wasn't going to stop after one day. He just wished he could cook and become her chef too. But that hasn't been going according to plan. That won't stop Cody from being everything else for Charli though.
He escorts her to the car, opening the door for her. "My lady," he says, bowing once more as he helps her hop in. Cody loves the 4WD's, which is why he has a Land Rover Extreme in his favourite colour; forest green. It has a high step, and leather seats. It was a truck that Cody worked hard for. He even learnt how to fix it, so he'd be able to cut back on some expenses.
His front bumper was custom made, and he had an extra set of lights on the front of his car. He has a roof rack on top, and a spare wheel hanging off the boot door. It was only a four-seater car, but the back had space to seat more. It's just that there were no seatbelts The seating was basically two benches on either side of the car. The wagon also had a snorkel fitted on the front.

Charli was a spoiled princess too. She had been generously taken care of, hand and foot. But no one would deny her if she wanted to do something. As a mortal was the first time she had ever been denied anything, which took some getting used to. Charli still struggled with those emotions of stubbornness if things didn't exactly go her way.
"Do I ever tell you how much I love you?" It was spoken in a friendly tone. She did not get pampered here in this realm. Charli wasn't anyone special, which felt nice. With only the attention of her human family and Cody, she was free from the burdens of being an idol to all the other angels and spirits. A little, teeny tiny part of her kind of missed it though. But she was here to learn and grow as an individual, and that wasn't going to happen back in Heaven where everyone helped her with everything.
"Thank you, good sir." Charli eased her self into the truck, twisting in the seat till she was all the way in. Then she promptly buckled herself in. From a young age, she had appreciated having Cody by her side. With his help and support, she had come a long way. It was actually his struggle with cooking that made her determined to teach him. In the process she ended up finding a passion for it. Picking out a recipe, collecting ingredients, making the food with love, and then sharing it with others, made her tremendously happy. If Cody never learned how to cook, it would be okay.
Charli wanted to support Cody in this life more than anything. She had learned many things but if the best thing she brought to the table was food and her okayish cooking skills, then Charli would be happy with that. Unfortunately for her, she was a slow learner, and maybe by the time she was 30 she would finally be excellent at cooking. For Cody, she had all the time in the world to get things perfect for him.

Yuda shrugged at his protest. He didn't intend to make it seem like he didn't care, he just wasn't a fan of sweet food, so a cake tasting was something that would be torture for him. He rubbed the back of his head, he could put up with the idea of it, if it made his friend happy. "I guess you have a point." He narrowed his eyes a bit. "What do you mean 'why not'? It is a weird thing to be saying is all." Though there actually was nothing wrong with the statement Caley had made, with saying that the planning would be fun.

"And I love you too, Princess." He falls silent, hoping his voice didn't give away how scared and happy he felt. She loved him! She actually said that she loved him! He felt it was one of the best days of his life. He just wished that she truly meant it.
Waking up today, Cody had a sinking feeling. He didn't know why. He just felt that something bad was going to happen. When he was in Hell, Cody had found out that he had a sense for danger. Whenever there was danger near him, he'd feel it. Eventually, it developed into a foresight, a feeling that he'd get in the morning that something bad was going to happen.
And so Cody decided to prepare for anything. He didn't want Charli to suffer or get hurt, so Cody made sure that he'd follow Charli close all day. This life was useless if Charli wasn't a part of it. He still remembered that because his powers were sealed, his body became very weak as a child. He would be in and out of hospital constantly due to his weak body.
But Charli was his ray of sun. She was his only friend and she stuck to him like glue, bringing out his sunniest side. And so he will cherish Charli forever, and stay by her side for the rest of this life. Now, thanks to Charli, his body is healthy and strong. He doesn't get sick easily, but if he does, it gets bad.

Love? Did she say love? Where was the nearest pit of embarrassment she could bury herself in? "Oh, should I say it more often?" The first response that came to mind from his teasing is what came out of her mouth, in the most innocent of ways. It was meant to be an honest question. Charli stared at her lap at the realization of her words, as if she hadn't already dug a hole for herself, there goes another shovel full of dirt. “Don’t answer that, it was rhetorical.” She covered and turned on the radio, afraid to hear an answer. She chewed her lip as anxious energy filled her. When Cody said he loved her too, her heart swelled and she felt like she was on cloud 9. It was an accident to say that word, but it turned out to be a happy accident. Did he really mean it though? He probably was just saying it because she had.
She was also quiet, not sure how to fill the silence after that. How other angels looked up to her, Charli didn't know. Holding a secret for Charlize was like holding an ice cube. The ice was cold but you could handle it for a while. Then your fingers turn numb and the ice starts to melt and you're supposed to hold the ice, not the water. You can't really hold water anyways so it gets everywhere and... well, to say the least, it's messy. Messy and eventually there is no ice to hold because it turned into water and slipped through your fingers.
Charli had no gut feeling or intuition for something ominous about today. Her stomach and her heart were too distracted by the fact that she had said the word love. When her perception was not distorted by emotion, she could be good at reading people. Nine times out of 10, Charli could pick the most trustworthy and least trustworthy people out of a group. She also was able to know when someone was looking to cause trouble. Even if it was something as simple as cheating on a test, she got a feeling just by looking at them.
Everyone made these kinds of decisions though and she didn't judge them for it. Even Cody had done this, she still accepted him because that made him human. In fact, Charli usually went out of her way to help someone that gave her this feeling. Usually using her awkwardness to get them alone and talk to them. One time, Charli had even spilt her coffee on a girl right before an exam so they could have a little heart to heart in the bathroom. People knew her as the girl who was clumsy and air headed, the one who was always running into someone, spilling something, doing the unexpected. She was also the girl who developed deep connections in those small moments, the one who gave others a new perspective.
Even when she shared something with these people, they never evolved into friendships. Cody had been the strongest relationship Charli developed as a human. She was grounded by that and would put him above anything else, no matter what the circumstance. She didn't want to be here if he wasn't. Her mind is riddled with more questions about their future. Was she wasting her energy fighting her love for him? Would this ever develop into anything more? Her heart grasped tightly to that word they had spoken to each other. Love.

Cody never felt like he needed to fit in until he met Charli. Back in Hell, Cody never cared what others thought of him. If he wanted to do something, he'd do it. If he wanted to say something, he'd say it. He held nothing back, and he was considered to be rude and scary at the same time. No one wanted to be on Cody's bad side. He didn't care about rules and regulations. All he cared about, was himself.
But now, he had Charli. He wanted to answer her question, but he was too slow. He was stunned by her question, which is why he was unable to answer. But he did want to say yes. Yes, he wanted her to tell him more often that she loved him. That way, he could tell her the same in return. And he could pretend that she felt the same way. He never thought that he'd want to listen to someone else, to follow someone else's rules. But with Charli, he was more than willing.
Arriving at the mall, Cody hops out of the truck quickly. He speeds to the passenger side door, and opens the door for Charli like a gentleman. "My lady," he says calmly, as he held out his hand. He will protect her. He didn't know what was going to happen, but with him by her side, he'd make sure nothing would harm her.

Charli has always been aware of how others perceived her. She was trying to not put so much pressure on herself as a human, besides people were always saying things like "Who cares?" Or "Why should I care?" They were so care... less. Charlize wanted that a little, to not have to worry about how people saw her. Cody was a hard one to let go, his thoughts of her were highly valued.
With her slip up of a mouth, Charli worried that Cody would see her true feelings. She wanted to express them but she never wanted to make him uncomfortable. What if she really messed up? What if Cody felt weird about it? What if? What if? What if? Her mind could be a downward spiral of self criticism. Faith in herself was a challenge. Charli believed in everyone so much, but when it came to her, she had many doubts.
Before she knew it, Cody had parked, hopped out of the truck, and opened her door for her. It was a simple action but it made Charli's insides turn to mush. Could he be any cuter? It made her smile and reined in her thoughts for a moment. She took Cody's hand and slid her way delicately out of the truck. "Thank you." She said with a nod. She waited patiently for Cody to lock the truck before walking to the mall with him. Her hand hooking around his arm to its usual position. Connected, she liked being connected to him.
"So I already think I know what I want." Charli started. She did indeed have a brief list of requirements for the things she wanted to buy. Was this Charli actually thinking ahead? A little, she was open to changing her plans if something else caught her eye. "I need to do something like an art project for class and I was also thinking about getting new shoes." She looked down at her black ones. "So, a two for one would be to buy some white shoes and customize them myself." Charli was just walking and talking, not really minding where she was going. "What do you think? Is that to ambitious?" She wanted his opinion.

"Shoes, huh?" Cody murmurs. When Charli was around, all he could think about was her. So when she spoke of shoes, all Cody could think about, was what kinds of shoes she'd like to wear, and what shoes would suit her the most. "I think you should do whatever you feel comfortable doing. If you want to customise your own shoes, do it. I'll even help you if you need it."
Since it was something Charli wanted to do, Cody will always root for her, and if she was stuck, he was more than happy to help her complete it. It was just the way he was. Once he fell in love, he'd do anything to please her, just because he wants her to be happy. "Do whatever you want, Charli. I'll back you up if anything goes wrong."

Yuda shook his head. "You don't have to go to that kind of length," he said. "If you want something sweet we can do that. It won't exactly kill me, but if it does I'll just haunt you for ever." He shrugged at the next comment he made. "Well...I don't know. It can't be all fun planning something like this though. Though do you really want to be together rest of our lives? What if you meet someone else?"

Caley laughs. "I'm not too much of a sweet tooth. I do like a wide variety of things, so our options aren't exactly narrow. And anyway, I wouldn't mind you coming back to haunt me." He frowns. "Well, there is that, or you could find someone else too. After all, there's no knowing what'll happen in the future." He then smiles at Yuda. "But to be honest, I don't plan on remarrying even if we do end up divorcing."

Okay, okay... we never decided who was going to spill the beans? I feel like it could go either way! Cody... saying something serious, Charli... saying something haphazardly.}}
"Yeah I've watched some videos, and it looks cool. So I wanna try." Charli bounced a little as she talked about it, showing her excitement. "Maybe you can help me come up with a concept, because I haven't decided yet." Even if Cody didn't help her with the shoes, it would definitely be done in his presence. Practically everything Charli did was with Cody, obviously shopping, eating and watching movies were among some of those things. It had been like that since Charli could remember.
As they entered the mall, Charli was a bit surprised at how many people there were. It looked like a lot of couples, they were probably here for a date to the movies or the arcade place. She was aware of her hand on his arm but it could be in his hand. She chewed her lip watching others walking that way, hand in hand, and wondering how it felt. It was so cute. Just the sight of others like that warmed her heart.
She stole a glance up at Cody as an idea came to her. "Before we go shopping, can we stop at the fountain to make a wish?" Charli asked. It was an old tradition, one they hadn't done in a while. As kids, their parents would bring them to the mall and the fountain was mesmerizing. They had thrown in so many coins there. It wasn't a waste though, proceeds here went to a charity that funded children's hospitals. That alone was personal, as both of them had spent their fair share of time in the hospitals when they were younger. Charli for her spleen, which eventually had to be removed. The small scar on her stomach was a reminder of that.

Yuda shrugged, he didn't intend on remarrying if a divorce occurred either. Frankly he doubted her would find someone that would marry him because they truly loved him, should they find out what family he was from. It was one of the many reasons he hated the high status that came with the family name, it meant he never truly knew who he could count on. "Well sounds like the cake thing won't be an issue though," he said. "And yea there is no telling what he future holds. As it is never set in stone, it can change based on choices. When should we plan on the cake tasting, should we do it after we figure out how big we want this to be? So we know how big of a cake we would need? Though I suppose we could always just call and order it too..."

"Sure. What colour do you want? What type of shoe? Have you decided all that? We also need a whole heap of materials. What materials do you want to use for the shoe?" Cody was deep in thought, as he spoke with Charli. He knew how to sew, a skill his mother in this life taught him, but he didn't really know how to make shoes.
"Sure," he says, smiling as he saw the fountain. "Do you have any coins with you?" Cody hadn't been to this mall in a while, and even the last time he came, he didn't throw a coin into the fountain, since he usually came from a different entrance. Yet, when he saw the fountain, memories of when they were younger came rushing back. He knew wishes never came true, but for those that were sick and had no hope, the money that came from the fountain gave them some.
Cody will always remember that he first met Charli at the hospital. Even though they practically lived next door to each other, because of his poor health, he'd never met other children until Charli when he was in hospital. It was both a miracle and a blessing to know her there. She was a child he couldn't help but fall for as a child. Despite how many years he'd been alive, when he became a human child, it was as if his mind had regressed too. Caley nods. "Okay. We'll sort it out once we know who's coming. I do know both our parents will be, but what about your friends? I have a few that could probably come, but we need to make a list. I know my parents will want an enormous wedding with reporters and everything, but I do prefer a much smaller one."

Ooo, yes.}}
Charli listened to all of Cody’s considerations. They were good ones. “Yeah, I haven't really thought that far.” She let out an embarrassed chuckle. “But, I was wanting something similar to these shoes, but maybe not so dark?” Her combat boots were a favorite, but she only had this black pair and she leaned towards the lighter side of the color wheel.
At the switch of focus to the fountain, Charli pushed her shoe ideas to the back of her mind. “I do have coins.” She fished out her wallet and scooped some out. With an open palm, Charli offered them to Cody, letting him choose which ones he would like. The fountain brought back many memories for Charli, especially of their childhood friendship.
The doctors couldn't at first identify what was wrong with her and then when they did, the surgery they had to do was major. It kept her under medical observation for a while. That was probably the most miserable she had ever been in her life, even as an angel. Not long after being admitted, did she meet Cody and it all blossomed from there. Each of them supported the other through their illness and since they were both frequenting the hospital, their parents had not seen any reason to keep them apart. Cody was her first friend and now her best friend.
She stared at the water for a moment, a smile on her face as she reminisced. "I learned something the other day about fountains." Charli said as she zoned back in, remembering a tale from a history class. "In ancient Rome,” She started, “If you fell in love with a Roman, you would toss three coins over your shoulder into a fountain. It was in hopes that you would someday come back to each other." Charli took what coins were left in her hand, selecting three. One by one, she tossed them over her shoulder into the fountain. "They each represent a wish. The first wish is that you come back to Rome." Charli tossed the first coin. "The second is that when you return, you find your love." A second coin went over her shoulder. "And the third, is that you marry them." The last coin plinked into the water.
“I don't know, I thought it was cute.” Charli commented, turning to face Cody. I don’t need to go to Rome to find my love though. That fact she kept to herself. She usually wished for the same old thing when she came to the fountain. That Cody and her would stay together. That their friendship wouldn't end. That they became more than friends. So far, two of the three had held true.

Yuda thought it over. He didn't really have people he would consider friends, most were ones his parents made him be friends with simply because their parents were friends. And after the incident with Fitri happened, he iced a lot of the 'friends' out and they stopped trying. "The only real people I can think of is seeing if Citra and her family, and maybe Vikal, want to come," he said, thinking about his siblings. "If that's okay to invite them." He mostly had acquaintances at this point, Caley was the only person he felt comfortable with addressing as being a friend of his.
"I would prefer something small as well though," he said to him. "It feels like it is more personal I guess." He adjusted his glasses as he thought. "It is a wedding and it's meant to be a big deal, it is an important day. But reporters? Isn't that a bit much?"

"What colour?" he asks warmly. This is what he was here for. He will do anything to help her, and that included helping her plan everything. "If it's on the lighter side of the colour wheel, you need a colour first, unless you're going to go for grey. Do you want a bright colour like red? Or a pastel colour like baby pink? Or even a cool colour like green and blue?" Charli was colourful all the time, so he felt she'd like red boots, or even a purple. Something that'll complete her outfits. This project was definitely one that required a lot of thinking.
He just takes one coin from her outstretched palm. Listening to Charli talk about love, and the three wishes she sent into the fountain, he all of a sudden felt a rush of reckless courage, and siimply wanted to tell her right here, right now, that he loved her. He stands beside her, and throws his coin into the fountain. "Then let me ask you this, right here, right now. My best friend, cute Charli, I have been in love with you for years. Will you be my girlfriend?"
Cody was very nervous as to what Charli would say to him, but he felt the need to say it right then. Caley Potter ❀ ♂ ❀ 23 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OOC:

Caley looks pointedly at Yuda. "Yuda, we're children of people who own large companies. Do you really think they wouldn't publicise this in a snobbish way? They'd want the whole red carpet treatment." He knew his parents. They wanted a flashy wedding so their company stocks could go up. Everything they did was for the company, and nothing will change. They'd even sell their own child if they could, which is why he's going to marry Yuda. Not that he minded though. He was gay. That much was true. And he'd known Yuda when he was younger, so he wasn't really marrying a stranger. All they needed was to grow more comfortable around each other, and live a blissful life. And the start of that life would be a wedding of his choosing, not his parents. He will no longer allow his parents to choose what he does and when. It was his choice now.
"And inviting our families would be standard. I guess I only have 2 friends as well, so we can invite them. It should be less than 50 guests then."

Yuda shrugged at his response, he had grown used to trying to keep out of the public eye when he went off to college. Did he do a decent job of it? No, he had gotten in it a few times due to fights. "Hmm so small wedding then," he said. "At least we have an idea of a number to properly prepare, though I suppose we should plan on people trying to crash it?" He wouldn't doubt some people would try and do this, especially reporters should they manage to arrange for none to be present.
"What else would be affected by the number of guests," get asked. Probably food. He thought to himself, granted they would also need to plan out what they would serve, along with a vegetarian choice as well to make sure they could meet proper needs of the guests.
