Introduction: You are padding through the forest, starving and injured. It is the cold season of leaf-bare, and you are suffering on your own. You catch the scent of squirrel and drop into a crouch. You start to stalk forward when a heavy weight bowls into your side. Screeching, a large tom on top of you pins you to the ground. "What are you doing on SunClan territory?" The tom demands, baring his teeth and digging his claws deeper into your flesh. A beautiful she-cat pads out of the bushes behind the tom. "Emberstar, wait! Can't you see that this cat is suffering?" She looks at Emberstar. "Remember the legacy that was passed down from Sunstar. We shine like the sun, bringing light and warmth to others." Emberstar dips his head. "You're right, as usual, Skyflower." He takes a step back from you and sizes you up. "You look like you could make a formidable warrior once you have some food in your system. Would you like to join SunClan?"
Prefixes: Here is a list of all prefixes used thus far. If a prefix has already been used twice then it cannot be used again. Obviously, I encourage you to use prefixes that are not on this list at all. If a name is listed, it has been used once. If a name is crossed out then it's been used twice and cannot be used again.

Clan Rules: ☼ Activity - You must be active, especially if you have a cat in a position of power (leader, deputy, medicine cat, medicine cat apprentice). For a more detailed description of the activity rules, see the next section. I will still add your characters if you do not read the Activity Rules section, but it is your responsibility to know those rules. If you don't know them and you get a warning or your characters are removed, that's on you.
☼ Coding - I created this coding myself. Please do not take my coding and use it on other threads. If I find my coding being used elsewhere, I will report it for plagiarism.
☼ Kits - No kit stealing/saving/anything. The kits in this Clan belong to this Clan only.
☼ Killing - If you plan on killing a cat, make sure the person who rp's as that cat is okay with it first.
☼ Bullying - Bullying, rudeness, and arguing will not be tolerated. I will remove your characters if you are rude or if you bully anybody, and I will report your post.
☼ Spam - Please do not spam this thread. While some out of character chat is okay, there shouldn't be more of that than actual rp. Also, I do not appreciate people who are not members of this rp participating in out of character chat here - this thread is not for your chat, it is for SunClan's rp.
☼ Queens/Mates - No apprentice queens or mates. Wait until they are warriors. Apprentices can have crushes, though.
☼ Perfect Characters - No perfect characters. All characters must have some kind of flaws. Going off of that, your character cannot be bad at everything.
☼ Unrealistic Characters - No unrealistic characters - no unrealistic coats or eye colors, no wings, no super powers, etc. Kits can't be heroes, deaf cats cannot magically begin to hear again, etc.
☼ Names - Cats from outside the Clan must take on a Clan name when they take their vow as a warrior. I don't want this Clan to be full of warriors who don't have proper warrior names. Please see the "prefixes" section for rules about how many people can use a specific prefix. You cannot use a name that is unrealistic. For example, these cats are not going to know what a flamingo is, so you can't name your cat Flamingofoot. If you aren't sure whether a name is acceptable or not, please ask me. I'd be happy to help you find a realistic name.
☼ Sexuality and Gender - Sexualities besides straight are fine, but that cannot be the focus point of the character. Your character is not their sexuality. I do not accept transgender characters because there is no way for them to transition and it is unrealistic. If you would like to discuss these rules with me, please send me a PM.
☼ Literacy - Please be literate in rp. No chat speak. Also, please use proper spelling and grammar to the best of your ability in rp.
☼ Out of Character Chat - Any chat outside of rp must be contained in (), [], or {}
☼ Advertising - Do not advertise any other website, Clan, rp, or page on here without permission.
☼ Number of Characters - You may have as many characters as you would like, but you must keep up with them all.
☼ Ceremonies and Warrior Names - If any of your characters are kits or apprentices, please let me know when you would like them to become apprentices or warriors. I will not do the ceremony until you ask me to. Also, include in your joining form what you would like their warrior name to be. If you do not include this in your joining form, I will come up with a warrior name for your cat. If you would like to change the warrior name that I come up with, let me know. Finally, please include the word "sunshine" in the "other" section of your joining form if you have read these rules.
☼ Fun - Obviously, I want you to have fun in this rp! Feel free to suggest plot ideas to me if you'd like.
Activity Rules: - First and foremost, you must be active to be a member of this Clan. To be active means to actually rp. You will not be counted as being active for a day if you only post out of character chat or asking if anybody has any open characters. It is your responsibility to get your characters involved in the rp, nobody else's. Therefore, if you post asking if anybody has characters open, and nobody responds, and then you do nothing, that is not a valid reason for inactivity. If your characters are all stuck in rp with someone who hasn't responded in a while, it is your responsibility to free up your character - waiting for a response from someone else is not an excuse to be inactive for 2+ weeks.
- If you are inactive for two weeks or more without letting me know ahead of time, I will send you a warning via PM. After I send the warning, you have one week to respond to me to keep your characters in the Clan. You can respond in two ways: you can respond to my PM with a reason for your inactivity and when you plan on being active again, or you can rp in the Clan. If you do not do either of these things within a week of me sending the warning, your characters will be removed.
- If you have a character in a position of power and I have to send you a warning message, your character will be removed from that position of power and they will become a regular warrior or apprentice. That position of power will be open for somebody else to take. None of your characters will be allowed to hold a position of power if you have received an activity warning.
- If you know that you will be inactive for a period of longer than two weeks, please let me know VIA PM. I need to have the notice in my inbox so that way if I go to send you a warning message, the message will be there to remind me that you had notified me. If you let me know ahead of time and are inactive for two weeks or more, you have no need to worry about losing your position or your characters.
- If you have already received a warning, and then become inactive again, you will not be given another warning. If you are inactive for two weeks after receiving a warning and becoming active again, I will simply remove your characters without warning.
- If your characters have been removed and you wish to re-join the Clan, you may do so. However, you will not be allowed to have a position of power.
- I do have a running list of every member of the Clan, their characters, and the last time they were active. If I send a warning, I also make a note of that on the document. I pay close attention to the dates that people are active, and I update the list daily. Therefore, claims that you have been active when you really haven't will not be tolerated. However, I do realize that I can make mistakes, and if you honestly believe that you were active more recently, I need you to tell me what page that activity was on. Finally, please include the word "daylight" in the other section of your joining form so that I know you read these rules.

The camp is located in the heart of the territory in a rocky ravine that soaks up sunlight, making the camp stay warm.
☼ The Great Willow - The Great Willow is a large willow tree not far from the camp. It is one of the largest trees in the forest, and its branches span in a wide diameter, with a shady clearing underneath.
☼ Basking Boulders - The Basking Boulders is the name of a clearing on one edge of SunClan territory, near the river that marks the border with MoonClan. The trees here open up into a wide clearing, where there are wide, flat boulders that cats can bask on. The elders enjoy coming here frequently.
☼ The Elder Woods - The Elder Woods is a small copse of elder trees. Hunting is fantastic here, as there is plenty of undergrowth for prey to hide in.
☼ Mossy Clearing - The Mossy Clearing is a clearing near the camp. It has a large, old oak tree in the middle of it. It is completely covered in moss. This is the clearing where apprentices go to practice battle moves.
☼ Silver Creek - A small stream running near the border between MoonClan and SunClan territories. It's known for its beautiful scenery, the low-hanging trees, different birds, and multiple types of colorful flowers. Couples often go there. It is always breathtaking, even in leaf-bare.
☼ Abandoned Twoleg Nest - Near the edge of SunClan territory is an abandoned Twoleg nest. The nest is mostly in ruins, but is a good place for collecting herbs, particularly catmint.

Camp: SunClan's camp is located in a rocky ravine at the heart of the territory. The rocks soak up sunlight, allowing the camp to stay warm even in the coldest moons. The camp is surrounded by thick gorse and brambles, with a narrow tunnel as an opening. There are wild sunflowers around the clearing, inside the camp wall.
☼ The Leader's Den - The leader's den is located in a large boulder hollowed out by an ancient stream that is no longer there. The leader stands on this boulder, called the Highrock, for Clan meetings.
☼ The Warriors' Den - The warriors' den is located in a bramble thicket by the camp entrance.
☼ The Apprentices' Den - The apprentices' den is located on the other side of the entrance to the camp under a gorse bush.

Her toes are black and she has a bob tail, like her parents. She has dark orange eyes, and is blind in her left eye. Jasminekit is a sweet, gentle she-cat. She is friendly and compassionate toward all cats, regardless of where they come from. All she wants is to take care of her Clanmates, no matter what that means. She enjoys spending time with the elders. She wants to do whatever she can to help her Clan. Her sisters are Iciclepaw and Solarpaw and her brother is Kestrelpaw.

Although he tends to flirt more with she-cats, he is bisexual, equally attracted to toms and she-cats. He was a rogue who was abandoned by his mother when he was a young kit. Moonfrost brought him in and raised him alongside her kits, Emberstar and Skyflower.

He has no family in the Clan, as he was found on the outskirts of SunClan territory when he was a young kit. He had witnessed his father kill his mother and ran away before he could be killed as well. SunClan cats found him covered in blood and terrified for his life. He was raised as a SunClan cat, although memories of his kithood still haunt him, giving him nightmares.

He may not be the most handsome tom, but don't let that fool you; he is one of the sweetest cats. Finchflight is a very happy-go-lucky type of tom, who loves to crack jokes, and make other cats laugh. He has a gift with words; instead of being handsome, he can make anyone happy. He is great at lightening any situation, and means the best. He is very courageous and kind; he hopes to have kits one day. Finchflight may not be strong, but he is certainly quick and can run circles around his opponents.

She has a nick in her right ear and a black chin. She has deep blue eyes. Riverbird is a sweet, gentle she-cat with a lot of compassion for other cats, whether or not they are members of her Clan. To her, it does not matter where you come from, but rather what you decide to do with your life. She is often the first to accept non-Clanborn cats who come to SunClan seeking safety or a better life. She has a very easy-going personality, and will make a great mother one day. She hopes to have many litters of kits once she finds the right mate. Her brother, Snaketail, is deceased. Her mother is Silverdusk and her father is Sootflame.

He's not good at making friends due to his sometimes overwhelming personality, but those he considers his friends have the utmost loyalty. He hides his deeper emotions behind his bold personality. He is a funny cat who loves to make others happy, but he is a bit of an airhead. His mate is Rustlefoot. His mother is Goldenfawn, his brother is Watershade, and his sister is Peachflower. He has three daughters, Iciclekit, Jasminekit, and Solarkit, and one son, Kestrelkit.

His mother is Goldenfawn, his brother is Lynxtail, and his sister is Peachflower.

☼ A pretty pale ginger she-cat with darker ginger lynx points, and bright green eyes. Peachflower is a sweet, affectionate she-cat who is very friendly to all cats. She tends to be a bit flirty, due to ho affectionate and friendly she is. She is incredibly loving and looks forward to having many kits one day. Her mother is Goldenfawn and her brothers are Watershade and Lynxtail. Her mate is Heatherfrost.

☼ A long-haired dark ginger she-cat with reddish-brown lynx points, white tabby markings, and bright green eyes. Scarletcloud is a fierce, hotheaded she-cat. She does whatever it takes to get what she wants, often butting heads even with her leader. She is fiercely protective of those she cares about. Her sister, Night, was killed in the battle with the rogues. Her mate is Cloudfoot. Scarletcloud and Night were raised in Viper's group of rogues. Scarletcloud was assigned by Viper to join SunClan to spy on the Clan and reveal its weaknesses to the rogue group. However, after witnessing a brutal attack by a couple of rogues on Emberstar and Rabbitfrost, she realized she didn't want to support such vicious disregard for other lives. She joined SunClan as an apprentice, and was made a warrior after she killed Viper in the battle against the rogues.

☼ A beautiful calico she-cat with auburn, black, and white fur all along her pelt. Her muzzle is white, and she has one auburn patch over one eye. She has clear emerald green eyes that can easily show her emotions. Despite her soft demeanor, Fernblossom is a fierce leader in her own way. She'll march to the beat of her own drum and can be very stubborn. She has a soft side, however, and is always there to listen to any cat. She loves to play around; she still has a kit-like side. Fernblossom has a good sense of humor. She is loyal to the bone, and will do anything to protect SunClan. She can be too harsh to other cats, like her sister. She is incredibly selfless. Her sister is Ivyriver and her mate is Emberstar. Her kits are Rowanpaw, Silverpaw, Gingerpaw, and Dewpaw.

☼ A white and brown mottled she-cat with piercing blue eyes. She has short fur and a long tail, and her right ear is nicked from a past fight. Quailspring is clever and strong, seeming to be keen on following orders as perfectly as she can. She strives for success and has no time for coddling or weakness. She refuses to let others witness her personal pain or deep emotions, and has a competitive streak.

☼ A mousy gray-brown tom with black paws, ears, and rings on his tail. His eyes are a sharp yellow-green, and his fur is medium-length and smooth. Heatherfrost, as his name suggests, is a cold and reserved tom who easily gets overwhelmed when there's too much energy around him. He's masterful in strategy making, and hides his true awkwardness and nervousness behind a cold mask. Secretly, he desires companionship, but has a hard time trusting others.

☼ A calico she-cat just like her mother with a mostly ginger pelt, with large ginger patches. She has a white muzzle and paws, and smaller black patches all over her fur. She has a fluffy tail and bright, clear blue eyes that mirror her father's. Gingersplash is a fiery she-cat and is very curious. She loves to explore every nook and cranny, which can get her in some trouble. She can get mad easily, and tends to be bossy. She has her father's determined and loyal disposition and her mother's kindness and generosity. She often looks before she leaps. Her brothers are Silverfrost, Rowanbranch, and Dewpaw.

☼ A dark ginger tom with darker lynx points on his face, ears, paws, and tail, and bright golden eyes. He has short, sleek fur and a large build, similar to his father, but his coloring seems to be unique. Rowanbranch is a fun-loving, energetic tom. He is less fiery than Gingersplash, and much more careful. He isn't as thoughtful as his brother Silverfrost, though, so he can occasionally get into trouble. He tends to be shy when he first meets somebody, but as he gets comfortable around another cat, he can be funny and lively. His sister is Gingersplash and his brothers are Silverfrost and Dewpaw.

☼ An unusually small silver tom with a white face, chest, belly, tail, and paws, black tabby stripes, black toes, and deep blue eyes. Dewpaw was born the runt of the litter, making him significantly smaller than his siblings. To make up for his small size, he has a very large personality. He has great courage and a lot of energy, always needing to be on the move. He loves to explore and talk to others, making sure nobody overlooks him because of his size. He hates how small he is, and he is very insecure about it. He hopes that he'll soon grow to be just as big as, or bigger than, his siblings. His sister is Gingersplash and his brothers are Silverfrost and Rowanbranch. Dewpaw was very sickly when he was born, and it was difficult to tell whether he would make it through. He was the last of his litter to be born, and was unusually small to the point where it was unhealthy. He recovered eventually and grew stronger, but he remained tiny. He has a seizure disorder, however, which impacts his life. His apprenticeship was delayed because of this disorder.

She's learned to live with her blindness and tries her best as a warrior, but deep down she knows she will never be a typical warrior. She fears that she will never be a good warrior, but her stubborn pride and determination do not let her say so out loud. She's very open-minded and friendly. She had a sister, Fennelkit, who died of illness early on. Her mate is Lynxtail. Her daughters are Jasminepaw, Iciclepaw, and Solarpaw, and her son is Kestrelpaw.

She doesn't remember much about growing up other than being in the Clan. All she knows is she was taken care of by another queen after her mother disappeared from camp one night and never came back.

Mottleblaze has a large scar on his right shoulder, one across his left eye, a scarred muzzle, and two nicks in his left ear. While Mottleblaze is loyal to the Clan, he is also known to be quite aggressive and he always seems to be looking for a fight. He is serious, fierce, and ambitious. He is fearless and courageous in battle, but he is also extremely arrogant and allows his ruthless ambition to drive his actions. Mottleblaze's ambition also drives him to be respected or feared by others, and to wanting to be leader or deputy - he doesn't care which position he gets as long as he's leading over other cats. Mottleblaze refuses to back down from any challenge and is also willing to break the rules himself if it suits his own personal agenda. He was born in SunClan to Foxjaw and Willoweye. His kithood was normal, but by the time he was an apprentice, others noticed Foxjaw spending more time outside of camp and one day Foxjaw announced he was leaving the Clan. Mottleblaze held a grudge against his father since and after his mother passed from greencough, Mottleblaze turned his attention to being the best warrior for SunClan, in any way he can.

☼ A short-haired she-cat with mostly black fur. The right half of her face, however, is a soft gray color, and her eyes are an unusual light blue. She has a white chin, a white spot on her chest, and white toes on her back left foot. Drizzlepaw is a fierce, independent she-cat with a sharp tongue and the claws to match. She is not afraid to fight for what she believes in, and is not one to shy away from a fight. Despite her fierce and proud nature, however, Drizzlepaw does have a soft side. When it comes to her loved ones, she is sweet and compassionate, and is often a support for her friends in need. She is incredibly protective of her Clan and would do anything to defend them. She is incredibly gentle toward kits and elders, which can be surprising to those who only know her sharp side. Drizzlepaw was a young kit who had just lost her mother when she ran into the path of a hungry fox. She would have been crow-food had it not been for a brave queen jumping into its path. The queen bravely fought off the fox, but unfortunately died from her injuries. Drizzlepaw was alone again. She wandered for days until she collapsed from hunger just over the SunClan border. A patrol of warriors found her and brought her back to camp, where she was nursed back to health. She grew quickly attached to her new Clanmates, especially the queen that nursed her and raised her until she became an apprentice. However, shortly after Drizzlepaw became an apprentice, the queen died in a battle with MoonClan. Now, Drizzlepaw avoids becoming close with anybody, especially anyone who may be a motherly figure, because she fears that she brings bad luck and that all those close to her die.

He is a laid-back, sarcastic tom. He loves cracking jokes and messing with other cats. He gets on other cats' nerves easily, but he isn't too bothered by that. Despite his teasing nature, he is incredibly protective of his siblings and loved ones, and he is very defensive of his parentage. His sister is Vinepaw and his brother is Spiderpaw.

While he may seem incredibly rough, he has his soft spots, particularly for kits and queens, and he tends to be very respectful to hard-working cats. He is the grandfather of Yewberry and Leafblaze (Autumn). All but one of his kits are deceased. In his first litter, he had two toms and two she-cats, named Nettlefang, Thistlepaw, Brambleheart, and Thornshade. In his second litter, he had two toms and a she-cat, named Juniperleaf, Sagestripe, and Berrycloud. In his third litter, he had one tom and one she-cat, Snaketail and Riverbird. Riverbird is his only living kit. His mate is Silverdusk.

☼ Birch is a large, muscular dark brown and white tom with thick neck fur, a feathery tail, and copper eyes. Birch has a white underbelly, long, jagged claws, black tabby stripes, a scarred white muzzle, a scar on his right shoulder, and his tail is a mix of brown and black. Birch is as brave, strong-willed, and ambitious tom. He can be blunt and speak his mind when something goes against his beliefs and he does not like taking unnecessary risks if someone is put in danger. Birch can have a bad temper at times that can get the better of him, but a good snap at him will put him back in his place. Overall, Birch is loyal and outgoing with those close to him and will do anything to protect them. His parents were Cobra and Stone, and his older sister is Sage. Birch was born as part of Cobra and Stone's second litter, along with his littermates Lily and Thorn. A few days after their birth, his mother and siblings grew weak and got sick. Before long, they passed and Birch was raised by another queen in their group. One day, a storm hit and he and Sage got separated from Cobra. Later they learned from another cat that Cobra was swept away by the river while helping a queen and her kit cross.

☼ Sage is a large, slender black, smoke, and white she-cat with a thick neck, a feathery tail, and copper eyes. Her black fur has gray going through gradually getting darker until it's all black at the end. Sage has white fur coming out of her ears with a nick in her left ear and a scar across her right eye. She is protective, cautious, and strict. After losing her family, she isn't quick to allow many to get close to her, but once past her hard shell, Sage is caring and outgoing. She's not afraid to claw someone's ears off if they threaten her or Birch, and her overprotective nature leads her to being strict even though she means well and wants her friends and loved ones to be safe from any harm. Her parents were Cobra and Stone, and her younger brother is Birch. Sage was born to Cobra and Stone, the only kit in their first litter. Her parents doted on her until she got older and they had their second litter. After watching her mother and two younger siblings die, Sage took time to watch Birch when the queen nursing him was busy with her own. One day, a storm hit and while getting to higher ground, Sage and Birch got separated from Cobra. They later learned from another cat that he was swept away in the river while helping a queen and her kit cross.  |

Clan Art:
- Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
- Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
- Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders or trained. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
- Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
- A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
- Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
- A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
- The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires, or is exiled.
- After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
- A Gathering is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among the Clans at this time.
- Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
- No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.

- An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.

- Each Clan has the right to be proud and independent, but in times of trouble they must forget their boundaries and fight side by side. Each Clan must help the others so that no Clan will fall.
- Borage Leaves - To be chewed and eaten. This plant can be distinguished by its small blue or pink star-shaped flowers and hairy leaves. Great for nursing queens as it helps increase their supply of milk. Also brings down fevers.
- Burdock Root - A tall-stemmed, sharp smelling thistle with dark leaves. A medicine cat must dig up the roots, wash off the dirt, and chew them into a pulp, which can be applied to rat bites. Cures infection.
- Catmint - A delicious-smelling, leafy plant that's hard to find in the wild; often found growing in Twoleg gardens. The best remedy for greencough.
- Chervil - A sweet-smelling plant with large, spreading fern-like leaves and small white flowers. The juice of the leaves can be used for infected wounds and chewing the root helps with bellyache.
- Cobweb - Spiderwebs can be found all over the forest; be careful not to bring along the spider when you take the web! Medicine cats wrap it around an injury to soak up blood and keep the wound clean.
- Coltsfoot - A flowering plant, a bit like a dandelion, with yellow or white flowers. The leaves can be chewed into a pulp, which is eaten to help shortness of breath.
- Comfrey - Identifiable by its large leaves and small bell-shaped flowers, which can be pink, white, or purple. The fat black roots of this plant can be chewed into a poultice to mend broken bones or soothe wounds.
- Dock - A plant similar to sorrel. The leaf can be chewed up and applied to soothe scratches.
- Dried Oak Leaf - Collected in leaf-fall and stored in a dry place. Stops infections.
- Feverfew - A small bush with flowers like daisies. The leaves can be eaten to cool down body temperature, particularly for cats with fever or chills.
- Goldenrod - A tall plant, with bright yellow flowers. A poultice of this is terrific for healing wounds.
- Honey - A sweet, golden liquid created by bees. Difficult to collect without getting stung, but great for soothing infections or the throats of cats who have breathed smoke.
- Horsetail - A tall plant with bristly stems that grows in marshy areas. The leaves can be used to treat infected wounds. Usually chewed up and applied as a poultice.
- Juniper Berries - A bush with spiky dark green leaves and purple berries. The berries soothe bellyaches and help cats who are having trouble breathing.
- Lavender - A small purple flowering plant that cures fever.
- Marigold - A bright orange or yellow flower that grows low to the ground. The petals or leaves can be chewed into a pulp and applied as a poultice to wounds. Stops infection.
- Mouse Bile - A bad-smelling liquid that is the only remedy for ticks. Dab a little moss soaked in bile on a tick and it'll fall right off. Wash paws thoroughly in running water afterward.
- Poppy Seeds - Small black seeds shaken from a dried poppy flower, these are fed to cats to help them sleep. Soothes cats suffering from shock or distress. Not recommended for nursing queens.
- Stinging Nettle - The spiny green seeds can be administered to a cat who's swallowed poison, while the leaves can be applied to a wound to bring down swelling. Soak thoroughly first to take away the sting.
- Tansy - A strong-smelling plant with round yellow flowers. Good for curing coughs, but must be eaten in small doses.
- Thyme - This herb can be eaten to calm anxiety and frayed nerves.
- Watermint - A leafy green plant found in streams or damp earth. Usually chewed into a pulp and then fed to a cat suffering bellyache.
- Wild Garlic - Rolling in a patch of wild garlic can help prevent infection, especially for dangerous wounds like rat bites.
- Yarrow - A flowering plant whose leaves can be made into a poultice and applied to wounds or scratches. Also eaten to cause vomiting in order to expel poison.
- Deathberries - Red berries that can be fatally poisonous to kits and elders. They are NOT a medicine. Only used to mercifully kill a cat who will die a slow, painful death with no possible cure.
Battle Moves: - Back Kick - Explosive surprise move to catch opponent from behind. Judge opponent's distance from you carefully, then lash out with your back legs, taking all weight on your front paws.
- Belly Rake - A fight-stopper. Slice with unsheathed claws against the soft flesh of the opponent's belly. If you're pinned down, the belly rake quickly puts you back in control.
- Front Paw Blow - Frontal attack. Bring your front paw down hard on your opponent's head. Claws sheathed.
- Front Paw Strike/Forepaw Slash - Frontal attack. Slice downward with your front paw at the face or body of your opponent, claws unsheathed.
- Killing Bite - A death blow to the back of the neck. Quick and silent and sometimes considered dishonorable. Used only as a last resort.
- Leap-and-Hold - Ideal for a small cat facing a larger opponent. Spring onto opponent's back and grip with unsheathed claws. Now you are beyond the range of the opponent's paws and in a good position to inflict severe body wounds. A group of apprentices can defeat a large and dangerous warrior in this way. Watch for the drop-and-roll counter move, and try to jump free before you get squashed.
- Partner Fighting - Warriors who have trained or fought together will often fall instinctively into a defensive position, each protecting each other's back while fending off an opponent on either side. Slashing, clawing, and leaping together, battle pairs can be a whirlwind of danger for attackers.
- Play Dead - Effective in a tight situation, such as when you are pinned. Stop struggling and go limp. When your opponent relaxes their grip, thinking you are defeated, push yourself up explosively. This will throw off an unwary opponent and put you in attacking position.
- Scruff Shake - Secure a strong teeth grip in the scruff of your opponent's neck, then shake violently until they are too rattled to fight back. Most effective against rats, who are small enough to throw. A strong throw will stun or kill them.
- Tail Yank - Grab your opponent's tail and yank it with such force your opponent is thrown off balance.
- Teeth Grip - Target your opponent's extremities - the legs, tail, scruff, or ears - and sink in your teeth and hold. This move is similar to the leap-and-hold except your claws remain free to fight.
- Upright Lock - Final, crushing move on already weakened opponent. Rear up on back legs and bring weight down on opponent. If opponent does the same, wrestle and flip them under you. This makes you vulnerable to the belly rake, so it takes great strength and speed.
- Half-Turn Belly Rake - Turn onto your side, slip under the opponent's belly, rake it with your claws, then swiftly turn back onto all fours out from under your opponent.
- Badger Defense - Leap over opponent, turn on your back and bite opponent's leg. Only used when fighting badgers.
- Duck and Twist - Simple defensive move. The cat ducks then twists around, rolling onto their back, and then springs to their paws.
- Jump and Pin - Complicated move used in enclosed spaces. Leap backwards, bounce off the wall. With precise accuracy, land on the cat.

(I'm just gonna post some starters for my characters - I don't quite remember where we were plot-wise, it's been so long. XD I also advanced the timeline a little bit for Skyflower's kits and made them apprentices.)
Emberstar sat outside of his den, gazing around the camp at his Clanmates. He purred as he watched his sister's kits, now apprentices, play-fighting outside of the apprentices' den. Vinepaw and Rushpaw were wrestling together, purring and squealing with laughter, while their shy brother, Spiderpaw, looked on. Emberstar sighed as he remembered the sad day when their sister, Amberkit, had died from greencough - Spiderpaw had become even more quiet and anxious since then.
"I win!" Rushpaw yowled as he pinned his sister to the ground, his paws on her chest as she struggled beneath him. With a growl she nipped one of his paws, causing him to cry out and jump off of her. "Hey! That's no fair!" He complained, while Vinepaw got up and leaped on him, purring with laughter. "Aww, are you going to whine about it not being fair in a real fight?" Vinepaw taunted her brother.
"R-real fight...?" Spiderpaw stammered, his eyes widening as he looked around fearfully, as if he thought all of MoonClan was about to leap out of the bushes onto them.
"Oh please!" Iciclepaw mewed as she pushed her way out of the apprentices' den, glancing at the younger apprentices. "There won't be a real battle, and even if there was, we'd beat them easily anyway! SunClan is the best!"
Jasminepaw looked up from where she was sorting herbs outside of the medicine cats' den, rolling her eyes and shaking her head. "There'd better not be a battle. It's leaf-bare, there aren't enough herbs for us to get into a battle!"
"There's no need to worry about battles," Skyflower meowed as she padded over to her kits, giving Spiderpaw a reassuring lick between the ears. "Things are peaceful in the forest right now."
Lynxtail padded into camp with a skinny mouse in his jaws. Watershade, Scarletcloud, and Dewfall followed him, each carrying their own scrawny prey. They dropped their prey on the fresh-kill pile. Watershade let out a bitter snort when he saw how pathetically small the pile was. "Looks like we need more hunting," he mewed, glancing around. He beckoned to Rabbitfrost, Riverbird, and Rowanbranch. "Are you coming with me?"
The three cats Watershade had gestured to got to their paws from where they had been sharing tongues by the warriors' den, following Watershade out of camp.

She’s as serious and dedicated as ever.” He looked around the clearing, searching for Kestrelpaw and Solarpaw. |

Kestrelpaw shook a bit as he tried to practice his battle moves. Even as he seemed to be getting the move down well enough, the thought of his clanmates seeing him practicing made him nervous, and his moves were getting sloppier.
Solarpaw looked around for Scarletcloud, energetic and determined as always.

She watched the younger tom for a few heartbeats before padding over to him. “Here, try tucking your paws in a bit more, and tuck your tail in too.” She nudged him into position. “This will make it easier for you to leap, and will stop enemies from being able to get hold of your tail.” Scarletcloud sat outside the warriors’ den, grooming her long fur. She noticed Solarpaw and got to her paws. “Solarpaw, are you ready to go hunting?” She called. Lynxtail touched his nose to Rustlefoot’s head, purring softly. “It looks like Kestrelpaw is making friends. Drizzlepaw is helping him with his battle moves right now. And Solarpaw is just as energetic as she was as a kit - she’ll make a wonderful warrior, just like her mother.” |

Solarpaw nodded quickly. “I’ve been working on my hunting crouch alot! I think I’ll be ready to catch any prey that comes my way. Though, what do I do if I stand out against any snow?” She pouted.
“It’s so strange.” Rustlefoot admitted. “It seems like yesterday they were beinf born, and I felt them at my belly...and now they’re almost at our height! It’s so weird, I feel older but...I still feel so young too.”

Under the trees, there are plenty of places with very little snow on the ground - and those are the places where we’re most likely to find prey.” Lynxtail nodded in agreement, knowing exactly what she meant. “I know what you mean. For StarClan’s sake, I feel like we were only just apprentices!” He sighed and rested his chin on the top of her head. “We are still young, though. We have plenty of youth left in us, to hunt and fight for our Clan, and who knows, maybe we’ll even have more kits someday.” He felt his heart race a little at the thought of having more kits with the love of his life. |

He has a white underbelly, muzzle, paws, and tail tip with dark stripe pattern runs through his fur. Mottleblaze has a large scar on his right shoulder, across his left eye, a scarred muzzle and two nicks in his left ear. || While Mottleblaze is loyal to the clan, he is also known to be quite aggressive and he's always seems to be looking for a fight. Mottleblaze is serious, fierce, and ambitious. He is fearless and courageous in battle, but he is also extremely arrogant and allows his ruthless ambition to drive his actions. Mottleblaze's ambition also drives him to be respected or feared by others, and to wanting to be leader or deputy - he doesn't care which position he gets as long as he's leading over other cats. Mottleblaze refuses to back down from any challenge and is also willing break the rules himself if it suits his own personal agenda. || Open to Kin || Mottleblaze was born in Sunclan to Foxjaw and Willoweye, his kithood was normal but by the time he was an apprentice, others noticed Foxjaw spending more time outside of camp and one day Foxjaw announced he was leaving the clan. Mottleblaze held a grudge against his father since and after his mother passed from greencough, Mottleblaze turned his attention to being the best warrior for Sunclan, any way he can. || Other || Taiyou || || Birch || Tom || Rogue || Birch is a large muscular dark brown and white tom with thick neck fur, a feathery tail and copper eyes. Birch has a white underbelly, long jagged claws, black tabby stripes, a scarred white muzzle, a scar on his right shoulder and his tail is a mix of brown and black. || Birch is brave, strong-willed, and ambitious. Birch can be blunt and speak his mind when it’s against his believes and does not like taking unnecessary risk if someone is put in danger. Birch can have a bad temper at times that can get the better of him, but a good snap at him will put him back in his place. Overall Birch is loyal and outgoing with those close to him and will do anything to protect them. || His parents were Cobra and Stone, his older sister is Sage. || Birch was born to his parents, Cobra and Stone, second litter with his siblings Lily and Thorn. A few days after their birth, his mother and siblings grew weak and got sick before long they passed and Birch was raised by another queen in their group. One day, a storm hit he and Sage got separated from Cobra, after they learned from another cat, he was swept away by the river current while helping a queen and her kit cross. || Other || Taiyou ||

After losing her family, Sage isn’t quick to allow many to get close to her but when passed her hard shell, Sage is caring and outgoing. She’s not afraid to claw someone ears off if they threaten her or Birch and her overprotective nature leads her to being strict even though she means well and wants her friends and love one to be safe from any harm. || Her parents were Cobra and Stone, her younger sibling is Birch. || Sage was born to Cobra and Stone, as the only kit in their first litter. Her parents dotted on her until she got older and had their second litter, after watching her mother and two younger siblings passed, Sage took time to watch Birch when the queen nursing him was busy with her own. Birch slunk through the shade of the trees that dotted the edge of the abandoned twolegs place, his whiskers twitching and ears full of new sounds of birds and different scents coming from the forest that laid before him. Birch looked over his shoulder at the abandoned twoleg place, it has only a few days since him and his sister, Sage settled down there to take a break from traveling and now that Sage was sleep, Birch got the urge to explore the territory. Flicking his tail and giving his chest a good lick, Birch padded off into the territory hoping to find something interesting waiting for him and probably find a few good hunting spots.
