Steel breathed a soft sigh of relief at the good news. He faintly noticed a look of grief in the alpha’s gaze, but thought he was imagining it. It was a happy day for both his sister and her mate, and the pack. He dipped his head and back out of the den, looking at Indigo with his tongue lolling.

Steel and Indigo - Exiting camp
Steel nodded at the sound of the Alpha’s voice as he exited the den. “Of course. Me and Indigo can go catch something fresh for her,” he woofed, turning and trotted off with Indigo at his heels.

Steel and Indigo - forest
Steel waved his tail in a gesture to say that he heard and broke into a trot as he and Indigo scented for rabbits. Soon enough, Indigo woofed and lead the two slowly toward a rabbit warren. Steel parted from his sister to travel to the other side of the rabbit. He gave a quiet woof and slapped his paw on the ground to scared to rabbit toward his sister, making sure not to scare any of the other rabbits. The one the wolves hunted gave a startled jump and fled right into Indigo’s jaws, where she gave it a bite that made it go limp. Then, with their heads held high, they trekked back to give their prey to their sister and Beta.

Aspen - Alpha/Beta Den - Dream
Aspen opened her eyes into slits and sighed. “Two boys, including Caesar, and three girls, including Star Chaser.” She gave a quiet whimper before closing her eyes once more and snuggling her face into Dream’s white fur. “If you don’t mind, I’d like to get some sleep. It has been an exciting day and I’m exhausted.”

Indigo - Camp - Dream, Aspen
Indigo padded up to the den with the rabbit and stopped at the entrance. Her brother had passed her the prey to give to their sister before heading off to do whatever’s he planned to do. She set the rabbit down and called softly, “Alpha? Me and Steel just got back from our hunt and we brought Beta a rabbit.” She wagged her tail and began to nose the limp prey into the den.

Steel - Camp - Moon
Steel stuck his head into the guard’s den and gave a quiet grunt as he noticed Moon. He drew his lips into a grin and slid the rest of his body into the den. Then, he padded up to the black wolf and nosed her side. “Hey, you wanna go out for a walk?”

North - Winter Skull Pack border - Sinister
North padded along the edge of the border, trying to determine whether he would get caught if he stepped inside. The markers weren’t as strong as the ones further along the border, which could either mean they hadn’t been here in a while and wouldn’t be coming here for long, or it could mean that they would be coming by to fix it soon. He knew these wolves could be cruel to trespassers, but at this time of year every wolf was fighting for survival. There was no food running into their paws. Looking back into the brush on the other side, he could faintly spot the outline of a running wolf. Curious, the white and gray wolf trotted past the markers without thinking twice and toward the running wolf.

(I think it’d be cute if something happened between Steel and Moon. Idk, what do you think? Also, Happy Valentine’s Day!)

Aspen - Camp - Dream and pups
Aspen grumbled at the pushiness of her mate. She had given birth, not fallen ill. She blinked open her eyes at the smell of rabbit though and her stomach rumbled with protest. “Ok, I’m up,” she barked sharply before immediately licking her mate’s muzzle. Her tiredness was clearly showing and she hadn’t meant to snap at him. Aspen pulled the rabbit carcass closer to her and began tearing into it gratefully.

Steel - Exiting camp - Moon
Steel widened his grin as he led the way out of the den and into the forest beyond the camp walls. The large wolf slowed to keep pace with the slightly smaller female and woofed, “Today has been quite exciting and it isn’t even sun-high!”

North - Edge of Winter Skull territory - Sinister
Canyon paused as the wolf stopped and faced him, clearly wary of his movements. The light-colored wolf slowly moved forward, cautious of the slightest movement as well. “Hello there,” he growled softly, lifting his tail flat in a dominant manner. He wasn’t sure how to act around this wolf, but he was one to always act like he was at the top. He knew how wolf packs worked and he knew that most wolves summited to the Alpha. If he acted like an Alpha, would this wolf treat him like one?

Aspen - Alpha’s Den - Dream
As she ate, Aspen could feel the pushing of needy paws on her stomach. “I’m not sure I’ll ever get used to this feeling,” she murmured, cleaning tufts of moss off of the pups tiny bodies.

Steel - Forest - Moon
Steel flicked his ears as they walked, keeping lookout for any prey that ran into their path. “You hear that the Beta had her pups?” he asked, turning his gaze to the pretty black she-wolf.

North - Inside pack border - Sinister
North chuckled and took a few steps forward before answering, “No reason, just exploring. Wasn’t sure that all pack members were the same.” Clearly his act of dominance wasn’t working, but he would keep trying. North was one for wanting power over a lot of things, but he was still extremely loyal to his sister and friend. Growling back, he lifted his head, prepared to fight if that’s where this encounter lead.

Aspen - Alpha’s Den - Dream
Aspen grinned and laid her head down on the soft moss. She finally gave in to her fatigue and closed her eyes.

Steel - Forest - Moon
Steel pulled back in surprise as Moon streaked off after the rabbit. It had run right into their path, clearly oblivious to the wolves until Moon hurtled after it. When she came back, he wagged his tail. “Great job, Moon,” he congratulated, padding up to her and nuzzling her scruff. Recently, he had been feeling more for the she-wolf than he had imagined he would. He refused to hide those feelings now, though he had no words for expressing them verbally.

North - Pack Territory - Sinister
North gave a chuckle and looked around him. “So you’re not like the others, are you?” He padded forward a little and growled. “Well I certainly won’t run from a fight.”

Steel - Forest - Moon
Steel grinned as the black she-wolf licked him. He wanted to say something, something that would tell Moon how he felt, but he didn't know the first thing about love. So instead, he buried the rabbit and leaned against her as they continued through the forest.

North - Forest - Sinister
North opened his mouth to give a hasty remark before the other wolf lunged at him. He could feel teeth on the back of his neck and he slammed into the ground, hoping to dislodge his attacker. Then, swiftly, he turned and bit the closest thing he could, the male wolf's front leg. He dug his claws into the ground beneath the snow and began to yank backward, trying to unbalance the other wolf.

Gonna make a couple more characters. I’ll put the pups up and mine when I get my laptop back from my friend)

Frost / 4 years / male / hunter / a white wolf peppered with gray, gray paws, ears, and tail. Muzzle is a darker shade of grey. He has blue eyes. / Frost is quiet and calm, some would say he would have made a great seer with how in tune he is. He is fast and fearless, but never rude . / brother to Jade

Jade / 4 years / male/ guard / a grey wolf with a white underbelly. Blue eyes . He is a bit larger than most, which aids him in his job/ jade is assertive and aggressive, often wanting to battle alpha for the position . He takes no bull and wants things done his way. / brother to Frost

Moon walked a bit away to face Steel, her eyes full of concern . “What is it Steel?”

Sinister ripped his scruff away from North’s grip, growling. He whirled to face him , trying to dodge his snapping jaws. He snarled , pacing back and forth in front of north ready to dodge his advances.

Moon - forest - Steel

Moon smiled, nuzzling Steel’s shoulder. “I like you too Steel!” She barked happily.

Sinister - forest - North

Sinister growled and snarled, ripping away from north’s loose grip. He went for the males jaw, his locking on Norths top jaw .He snarled and shook, hoping to inflict damage.

Frost - forest - Halo

Frost had gone out on a walk by himself , hoping to clear his head from his brothers non stop talking. He had wandered out a bit and was scenting the air. He smelled another wolf. He wandered a bit further , following the scent. There was a dark grey she wolf, the colour of a storm. Her blue eyes drew him in . He stayed hidden, hiding behind some trees hoping he wasn’t scentable by the wind.

Moon nudged him playfully. “ so what should we do now?” She asked, biting at the snow and swallowing some.

Sinister growled some more , letting go and backing away . His hackles were still raised and he continued to snarl. “Leave or face death next time.”

Frost crept forward, his white pelt blending into the snow. He faltered, wondering if he should stay within the pack border. He stayed where he was, his light eyes staring gently.

Moon giggled , her tail wiggling playfully. She got to her feet, bowing and barking. She farted forward, nose first into Steel. Her small size didn’t knock him over, and she grunted with the effort. She sat down. “No fair !” She laughed.

Sinister growled, his eyes following the retreating wolf, he licked his wounds, resuming his warm towards the herbs. He limped a bit and his neck hurt, he whimpered then ground his teeth. Deciding to return back to camp where he had the herbs he needed already . He huffed, his breath creating a cloud. He limped back to his den, growling still as he lay down.

Frost laughed quietly, still watching Halo. He walked forward. He stopped a distance away from her, within earshot,
“I’m Frost.” Was all he said .
