● art and basic coding save welcome Hello! It's been a long time since I've made something original and unique with others. I wanted to reach out and come up with something that is different from what we see in Fan Clans. Normally, I would have made this independently but I wanted to stray away from my usual path. What I wish to create are two Tribes that are different than the Tribe of Rushing Water. I already have some ideas, but they aren't exactly set in stone. I'm open to ideas, though there are a few requirements for the Tribes themselves. Below is a little list, and if that doesn't interest you, I understand and appreciate you checking this out!
● The overall territory will have all four seasons occur. Of course, with it being fictional, the severity of said seasons may differ.
● One liners are a rare occurrence, but I won't expect paragraphs. A nice range between three to five sentences so the role-play flows well.
● Flexibility and inclusion on activity. Given we're in a pandemic and also about to hit the holidays. We could have a rush of activity before school and work kick back up in January. I don't want to enforce a harsh schedule on someone, instead I want to work with them so they feel welcomed and included even with a busy schedule. |

guidelines ● experience
I'm looking for people that have been in a few role-plays and/or have ran a few. If you're completely new, you may still help. I'm only asking for this to keep an eye out for future staff.
● dedication
Again, this is geared more towards those that want to help create the Tribes, then join them. While I won't demand someone be on every single day, I will keep notes of who is fairly active and contributing a lot to the planning phase. I can't guarantee high positions for everyone, so I will offer those when we're ready to open to those that have put forth a lot first.
● patience
While I'm really looking forward to this being made, it won't happen in a day. Everyone has their own lives, so there may be a pause here and there. If someone hasn't been on in a day or two, we haven't let the page die. Chances are, some things are being worked behind the scenes and we will have deadlines. Everyone will have something to do and when we have downtime, we can always discuss more whether it be related to the actual world-building or characters. |

The form above is the one we'll be using for helpers. Everything is pretty self-explanatory, but I do want to make a not that schedule helps have an idea of your activity. I don't need a lot of details, just enough to know. I ask that no one asks for a specific position inside or outside of the role-play. You may display interest, though be warned that constantly hinting at your interest in a position can be indirectly asking.

schedule | I work weekdays from about 6:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. with scattered breaks. If something big is coming up, I'll try to let everyone know. I am able to check my phone sometimes, but I'll be restricted to mobile during these hours.

- Instead of the normal Clan ranks, we could use: chief, deputy, priests (omens), healer (obvious), council, senior warriors, warriors, queens, nursery helpers, kits, elders, tribe mother, tribe father. (ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 )
- There is an espionage group in each Tribe. Members are known only to the chief, deputy, priests, and healers. They're named after a bird.(ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 )
● ceremonies & traditions
There will be a few traditions and ceremonies that the Tribes share, but there will also be some for both individually.
- Ancients names. (Ex. Dove's Wing) (ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 )
- Feathers mark rank and life events. Feathers are not given until an apprentice becomes a warrior. Tradition is for an apprentice to receive a piercing on their left ear with a mouse rib. Feathers are then glued on with a special sap. (ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 )
- Elders select a Tribe Mother or Tribe Father after the death of the previous one. The two are responsible for keeping traditions alive. (ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 )
- Due to the dangers in the territory, mates could be arranged by the priests, Tribe Mother, and Tribe Father. Of course, preferences will be respected. (ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 )
- Marriage overall is sacred and they do weddings. (ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 )
- After the vigil for a fallen Tribemate, their feather bundle is removed from them and blown in the wind with close kin. (ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 ) |

● ♡ Bun ♡ I've been in quite a few clans within my years of being on the warrior forum, I have also ran quite a few clans as well. | Pacific standard time GMT-8 | At the moment my state is in another shutdown and Im currently out of work, which basically means I've got a whole lot of free time on my hands for right now. When I am working I usually work 3-4 days a week and it takes me from 10am- 2pm to get ready for work. Everything else is pretty random. | I just have to say I already really like your suggested ideas for ceremonies and traditions. |

I'm always a fan of mixing things up. I don't know why but snow-capped mountains came to mind when I first thought about it, but that's just me. I live nowhere near any large hills/mountains in the south east of England so I am not really an expert on that sort of terrain

I'm always a fan of mixing things up. I don't know why but snow-capped mountains came to mind when I first thought about it, but that's just me. I live nowhere near any large hills/mountains in the south east of England so I am not really an expert on that sort of terrain Maybe they have harsh winters so snow is common and thick? of course.
They could live in a valley of mountains or at the base of mountains, where the winters are harsh but the warmer months are fruitful.
for some reason Im getting an image of this place i used to go to when I used to live in alaska.
There was forest on one side and when you broke through the forest it would open up to like a secret lake, with mountains and valleys surrounding it.

I'm glad we agree! It'll also give us some room for prey and predators! Mainly predators. > I normally do a main body of water. I think instead of just using a lake or river, perhaps we can use both and have a waterfall connect them? Maybe the top of the mountain is a pool with the open sky. Their own little Moonpool. |

Ooo yes I agree with the idea of a waterfall and the moonpool being utop the mountain in the open sky.
So In alaska some type of predators are Bears, Lynx's, cougars, Wolves, Coyotes, Artic fox, Bats, Wolverine's, Marten's, Mink's, Moose, Bison, Elk, Caribou, Muskox, porcupine, Woodchuck, Marmot, Eagles, Owls.
You can pick and choose which predators you like the best, i can link the website with the list of animals if you'd like.

We can compromise on the open sky and cave. Perhaps on one side is the cave where they dream with their ancestors. The water trickles down to a lower level and another pool. Perhaps they hold some ceremonies here. (Like the funeral idea.) The area could be sacred because it's the highest reachable peak.
Perhaps for the gathering, there is an abandoned ruins of a castle of some kind? When I visited Germany a few summers so, my fiance took me there to see it. I'm also okay with not doing this idea.
