I love both of your ideas, the castle would definitely be interesting, it would also be a great place to also hold weddings but maybe in a different part of the abandoned castle. Also what about instead of it being just a one tribe thing both tribes come together for weddings?
I also really like have two separate pools for talking to starclan and the funerals.

Hmm. I'm not too sure about that. I was thinking that the ruins are, well, quite ruined. I have to admit I'm not too fond of the weddings and funerals being there or having the enemy Tribe be there. |

Oh i didn't mean both I just meant the weddings be at the ruins not the funerals, I quite like the idea of there being a separate pool/cave for the funerals. But i can also see where you are coming from for the ruins being quite ruined, it is a castle and we don't have much of castles anymore in modern day time.
But I can also see your speculation on not wanting the enemy tribe there, and it's totally fine if you're not fond of it. It was just an idea i had ^^
Okay so maybe instead of the wedding's being at the ruins, what if there was a huge singular willow tree kind of like fourtrees where they hold weddings plus this is also where cats confess their love for one other at?

I agree with Bird. Is there's too much distance, then when a Tribe needs more territory and wants to expand with territory that's confirmed to be safe, they should be close enough for that. |

Well, let's think of what could be defining markers. A ridge may be confusing to some, even if I do like it. We can maybe put that somewhere else and it be a unique landmark for the rocky Tribe or a neutral one. (If neutral, I have an idea for it.)
I do think it's a given that as you go up the mountain, it gets rockier and more open sky. So involving a landmark with foliage might be awkward. And even thinking about it, placing stone paths would also make someone go "they did this because they couldn't think of anything." As the paths would probably get blocked by the rocky Tribe to prevent the foresty Tribe from entering. We also have to take into account skills. I don't see the foresty Tribe being able to rockclimb as well, I think their forte would be undergrowth and tree climbing. |

Hmm I really like that idea ᏼꮖꭱꭰꭱꮖ🇳ꮐ, I was even able to find a picture of a rock shaped like an eagle from erosion, maybe could have both, the rock formation and the half-collapsed bridge. I also found a picture of what looks like a door way but made out of rock. Like birding said their could be a gap you have to jump across and on the other side would first be the bird rock formation and then that door way type rock, the bird rock formation could be seen as their watchful guard of the entrance. Maybe that bird rock formation could fit into their history somehow, kinda like rock in the tunnels. But for them this bird was like a special ancestor who had protected them in the past. {Im having trouble explaining this, sorry >.< } Maybe as the tribe was discovering their territory, someone stopped to look at the rock as they were crossing the now half collapsed rock bridge, and because the bird's beak would look behind them they just so happened to look behind them as the rock bridge collapsed leaving the gap, but saving them from losing cats. Cats of the rocky terrain could have hardened paw pads to help them jump and walk long distances on a rough surface without breaking the skin, as for some skills what if they had strongly built back legs to help them jump great heights or distances. |

I like the idea of a bridge over a formation. I feel that it fits better without us breaking the wall with a formation so coincidentally being made into a bird. I also don't mind a fallen log along it as well.
So far, we have the ruins for Gatherings, a cave with a pool for spiritual gatherings, and the bridge. Of course, there is also the waterfall. Speaking of which, could run past the bridge and made kind of a spring? So it isn't a free falling waterfall once it passes the bridge but rushes like a stream downhill with a few free falling waterfalls? |
