Slatewhisker in Camp with [Open]Slatewhisker laid down with his paws tucked under him. He closed his eyes, enjoying the sun on his fur. It's days like this that Slatewhisker enjoyed. [Open] Morningpaw Outside Nursery with [Open]Morningpaw heaved a sigh as she sat down outside the nursery. She stayed alert, in case one of her kits woke up. It was nice to have some time to herself to take a break. Although she loved the kits, they could be a handful. [Open]

Wolfstar spots Morningpaw and decides to walk over to her. "How are you doing?" He asked.
"Something the matter?" Oakclaw asked as he walks over to Swirlflower. He noticed her wandering around and decided to see what was up.

' I just don't have anything to do right now', she went on. Tired of being bored, Swirlflower decided another hunt wouldn't hurt, she had always loved hunting, and it would help her clan. ' Hey, would you like to go on a hunt together?'Swirlflower asked Oakclaw.

Oakclaw could feel her pain. Since the sun was finally out, most cats wanted to just enjoy the sun before it disappeared. "I'd love to actually. Where did you want to hunt?"
"I hope they aren't causing you to much trouble." Wolfstar said. "If you ever need a break, I know of a few cats who wouldn't mind watching them for you."

Wolfstar sits down on his haunches. "The clan has been well. We have had a couple of new warriors and later on today there might be a few more. Aside from that, I heard Poppyfall and Thundershade finally got together."

Morningpaw sighed. She didn't want to trouble Wolfstar with her silly apprentice problems, but she also wanted to talk to somebody. Maybe he could give her a bit of advice about what to do. "It's just," she began, "Milo has been rather... distant lately. He won't talk to me and doesn't come to see the kits. I know he's new to Clan life and our situation is a little awkward, but I want the kits to know who their father is and to have a relationship with them." There was still one thing that she wasn't sure of. Did he really love her? "I don't even know if he really loves me anymore..." |

"Sounds good to me, just try not to slip in." Oakclaw joked. "I can't swim so you would have to get yourself out." He tried a couple of times as an apprentice but he could never get the hang of it.
Wolfstar listened to her vent and takes a moment to chose his words carefully. "Perhaps, he is still settling in or is unsure of how to approach you and your kits. I imagine our clanmates haven't been the kindest to him."

Morningpaw nodded in agreement with Wolfstar. He could just be trying to get settled in. She knew how hostile her clanmates could be towards outsiders. She just wished that he'd come and visit her soon. There was a little thing nagging her in the back of her mind though. Did she love him? She'd never really thought about it like that. Maybe she was the one being distant from him. Maybe she was the one who didn't love him. What if this had all just been a mistake and they weren't really in love? "I suppose you might be right." (Sorry for being inactive. School just started for me. Just a heads up, I might have Milo and Morningpaw not end up being mates. Just because I now find it to be a little weird to have two of my own characters be mates.) |

Wolfstar wished he could offer better advice but this was something she and Milo had to figure out. "Another idea could be to go talk to him yourself. Sometimes being straight forward is the best option."
