Lakepaw (with Honeypaw and Ashstrike, training rock) Little meow meow t1nkdrawsArriving at the training rock, Lakepaw looked back and gave his brother an excited look, not quite picking up on Honeypaw's reluctance. His own fear of being told off had all but evaporated once they'd reached the clearing, and now all he could think about was that he was finally training to become a real warrior. He listened intently as Ashstrike explained the basics of hunting, and dropped into a crouch as soon as the warrior had finished speaking. Tucking his paws under him and keeping his tail free of the ground, he slunk forwards slowly, trying his best to stay balanced but wobbling slightly as he familiarised himself with the posture. His unsteadiness calmed down after a few tail-lengths. Standing back up, he asked proudly 'How was that?', his ears twitching in delight. Sunpaw (with Sparrowheart, forest) Little meow meowSunpaw calmed down slightly as her mentor soothed her, shaking out her fur to try and snap herself out of it. Of course Sparrowheart was right - she should go easy on herself! It was only her first session after all... she still had loads of time to become a skilled warrior. She renewed her concentration as Sparrowheart prowled silently around her, noting how quietly the she-cat was moving along the forest floor. 'If I was a mouse, I wouldn't have heard you until it was muucchhhh too late.' the apprentice commented as her mentor stood back up, having recovered some of her good humour and giving Sparrowheart a bashful look. The young she-cat sunk back into her crouch. Slightly unsteady on her feet, she slunk forward and managed to avoid stepping on anything overtly loud this time and remembered to keep her tail free of the floor. It wasn't the perfect crouch, but it was better. Birchfoot (with Mudfoot, Lightningwhisper, Quailpaw, Rosepaw, Minnowpaw - patrol) Little meow meow Hawkeyes258 🐦silvermoon2🐦 DawnmistBirchfoot, who'd been walking quietly just beside Lightningwhisper, couldn't help but let out a surprised chuckle at Quailpaw's remark. He turned back to glance at the two apprentices, his green eyes shining, 'Now now Quailpaw, there's no need to pull Minnowpaw's tail,' he began in a stern tone, before letting his voice trail off, '...that is of course unless you're trying to stop her from charging a fox.' he added, giving the young tom a wink. Turning back to Lightningwhisper, he gave the warrior a look filled with amusement.

Honeypaw / with Lakepaw and Ashstrike With thoughts of being in trouble leaving his mind for the time being, Honeypaw quietly followed the warrior and came to a pause in the clearing where training tended to occur. Although, perhaps he wasn't exactly aware of that given he hadn't exactly left camp to train until this moment. Nevertheless, he was excited to start, though nervous with the reality of how little he knew. He watched attentively as Ashstrike demonstrated the hunter's crouch, eyes wide and studious as he did his best to take note of every movement and every instruction. With how quickly Lakepaw attempted the crouch, the Cinnamon tabby waited a moment longer, observing his brother for a moment longer as if to glean what he could from his performance as well. However, when he felt confident enough, Honeypaw dropped into a crouch as well, almost losing his footing for a just a moment before readjusting his weight and paw positions. Raising his tail, albeit perhaps a bit too high, he began to crawl forward, thoguh there was a hesitency to his pawsteps.
Sparrowheart / with Sunpaw The tabby warrior was relieved to see the younger cat at least seem to calm down some, a mentor's duty did not consist only of training but also adapting to the needs of their apprentice. Thats what Sparrowheart liked to think at least, after all, it was easy to bark out orders and expectations but it was harder to connect with another cat and provide the necessary support to succeed. "You'll be able to do the same with time, it just takes practice. Even the best warriors were once kits and apprentices that could barely walk straight." she purred in a playful manner, hoping that reality alone might give the young cat more confidence. After all, no one started out a perfect warrior, and even those with more skill early on than others were far from flawless. Sparrowheart had sat back down with her tail flicked neatly over her paws as she observed the young cat try again to accomplish the hunter's crouch. Her expression betrayed nothing but a silent interest in the young cat's technique but soon she nodded slowly, tentatively. It wasn't perfect but it was progress. "We'll certainly have to work on your balance." she began thoughtfully but seemed to perk up as she continued speaking, "But there's improvement from your last attempt."
Minnowpaw / Border Patrol Minnowpaw seemed to deflate a bit at the common sense shot her way by Lightingwhisper, though not enough to lessen her enthusiasm. However it was Quailpaw's comment that earned a sharp snort. "Would not..! I could take on a fox no problem, and I could definitely send you running back to camp squealing like a kit!" she retorted indignately, her tail lashing behind her as she turned up her nose at the older apprentice. Could she actually take on the larger apprentice? Absolutely not, but that wasn't stopping the prideful cat from saying otherwise. Then again, she'd really set herself up to be the butt of the joke, her enthusiasm from the very beginning hardly doing much to display any form of maturity. It wasn't surprising that the adults had joined in on the joke at her expense, and perhaps it was this humility that had the young cat simmering down in embarrassement.

blu Little meow meow Ashstrike nodded at Lakepaw "Very good for your first time." he mewed, eyeing him thoughtfully before adding gruffly "You should work on your balance with Moonmask so that it is perfect every time, so you don't go lumbering around the forest like a badger and scare all the prey away." He then turned to Honeypaw, watching his attempt before standing up and pushing his tail down with his own so that it wasn't sticking up "Keep your tail down, Honeypaw, you look like a Wren." He then padded around the tom as he crawled and nodded in approval "Not bad."

Quailpaw(border patrol)
Quailpaw nodded in response to Birchfoot's rebuke. But he purred with amusement at Birchfoot's joke. 'You couldn't do that!' Quailpaw retorted in indignation to Minnowpaw. He thought that despite Minnowpaw's big words, she would have a lot more trouble taking him on.

Lakepaw (with Honeypaw and Ashstrike - training rock) Little meow meow t1nkdrawsAt Ashstrike's comment, Lakepaw threw the warrior a dirty look. He'd thought his crouch had been great... and for the warrior to compare him to a badger... Lakepaw's tail flicked in annoyance. Luckily the older cat hadn't caught the look, having moved on to criticing Honeypaw. The young tom's resolve hardened and he vowed his next attempt would be much steadier. Sunpaw (with Sparrowheart, hunting) Little meow meowSunpaw turned to her mentor in delight, happy she'd gained back some sort of dignity and respect. 'Can I try catching a real mouse now?' she asked brightly, quickly becoming more comfortable with her mentor.

Honeypaw / With Lakepaw and Ashstrike There was no doubt the young tom was nervous, but some tension seemed to release from his muscles as he received instruction, taking even the less kind comment with dignity as he lowered his tail to a more acceptable position. He didn't feel as though he were doing particularly well, but he was hopeful that he could gain a better understanding for what he should have been doing regardless. Even so, he couldn't help but shoot his brother a sympathetic glance, after all, being called a lumbering badger was a fairly embarrassing metaphor before responding to the warrior in gratitude.
Sparrowheart / With Sunpaw The renewed delight from the young apprentice inevitably brought the warrior a fair amount of joy as well, glad to see the little she-cat's spirit had not been irrepairably dampered by earlier mistakes. Learning was a process after all. "You may not catch anything your first few times..." she began thoughtfully in response before rolling her shoulders with a pleased smirk, "It's quite a jump from the crouch to the pounce, but you will need the paws on practice to truly learn how to accomplish it. Let's begin by having you find us another mouse first."

Name: Mallardblaze
Physical Description: Short, slightly squat dark brown tom. He has a white underside that reaches all the way to the top of his neck and down his whole belly as well as white front toes with a darker brown muzzle and back paws. He has muscular legs and a body all around built for battle but his middle is a bit plump. Unlike his younger littermate, he is a somewhat poor hunter. He is a surprisingly good jumper. His fur is about medium length, not long but not short either, giving his tail a feathery look to it. His eyes are light blue, like his bother. Age: 20 moons
Personality: Despite his somewhat intimidating appearance, Mallardblaze is actually very friendly and welcoming to his clanmates. He is brave and one of the first cats who will volunteer for patrols. A loyal hardworker at heart, he has very little patience for those who would slack off or break the warrior code. Mallardblaze is an "act now, think later" type of cat and may rush in blindly to solve a problem, but it's never with malice. It is not suggested to do an harm to his brother, they are fiercely protective of each other.
Rank: Warrior

Family: Longstorm (brother; open for parents)
Background: Clanborn

-Drama Llama-
Name: Longstorm
Physical Description: Long-legged and lean dark brown tabby tom with a white chest spot, tail tip, and chin. He shares his brother's brown muzzle and his paws are the same colors. He is tall and thin, an excellent build for running, jumping, and hunting. However once running at top speed, it hard for him to slow down imediately, giving him a somewhat clumsy reputation. His fur, unlike his brother is short and neat in appearance and he has the same light blue eyes as him.
Age: 20 moons
Personality: Longstorm is a cautious young tom, if a tad jumpy at times. He shares the same superstitions as his clanmates, maybe even more so. He is not fond of battles or duels, as he feels that most conflicts can be solved with words. He will think out his actions before charging into danger, something he has chastised his brother for on more than one occasion. Do not take his lack of drive for fighting for weakness or disloyalty, he may not be as strong as his brother, but he can hold is own and is willing to lay down his life for the clan. He is equally as friendly as his brother. Longstorm is equally as protective of his brother, though he does feel at times that Mallardblaze is more respected than him, but he still loves his brother despite it all and looks up to him. blu Little meow meow Ashstrike nodded at the two apprentices before spinning around to find a couple of leaves, picking them up once he did so and placing them so they were in front of the two toms, a fair way apart. "Alongside the hunting crouch, you'll need to stalk, pounce and kill your prey." He paused flicking his ear "Treat these leaves as mice, I want to see you attempt to catch them before I show you how, so I can see what you currently know. We'll be practicing these moves for this session." He sat down in front of the rock again "Begin."

Mallardblaze & Longstorm ~ At camp
The two brothers sat side-by-side each other, each had taken a piece of prey from the pile and were enjoying their meal. Mallardblaze had taken a squirrel while Longstorm chose a small carp. Mallardblaze looked up from his fresh-kill at his brother's with a look of slight disgust who had just about polished his off. "Don't know how you can stand eating fish!" he remarked.
"Well, maybe if your fur wasn't as long as it was, you'd have a better time catching them and enjoying them," Longstorm teased, swatting his brother on the head playfully.

Honeypaw / With Lakepaw and Ashstrike Honeypaw's eyes were wide and curious as the Warrior turned away, planting his bottom quietly on the ground as he waited to find out what was next for them. Even so, he couldn't help shooting a look towards Lakepaw, as if searching for some sign that the other tom knew what was coming next. Even so, it wasn't long until Ashstrike would answer that question himself, making it clear enough that they were moving onto the next step of a hunting crouch. Rather, the actual hunting part of it. The cinnamon tabby once more looked unsure but this time didn't wait for his brother to began, first dropping a bit clumsily into the crouch they'd just learned. An annoyed grunt escaped him, however, aware that he had been a bit clumsy yet again but he figured to try to redo that would just hold him back from trying the latter part of the task. He'd just have to get better at his muscle control in that regard.
Nevertheless, he was careful to keep his tail low, a bit awkwardly as he was still getting used to the balance aspect of the very specific movements he would need to grow more comfortable with. He only hoped he wouldn't continue to embarrass himself so openly as this training session went on. Honeypaw began the inevitable movement forward, flinching everytime a paw ore his tail bumped or landed on something noisy, burning in embarrassment by the time he actually attempted to make the jump. However, like much of the attempt up until this point, and as his 'battle training' early that morning had demonstrated, his balance failed him rather remarkably. Overshooting his pounce, he was scrabbling still mid-air as he landed a few pawsteps past his target, doing little more than kicking both dust and the leaf into the air.
Minnowpaw / With the Border Patrol Minnowpaw snorted indignantly towards the other apprentice, hackles raising as if she just might try to take the other apprentice down a peg regardless of the odds being stacked against her. "Big words, I bet you're just afraid you'd get smacked off your perch, Quailpaw...!" she retorted with a sharp huff, tail lashing behind her as she all but ignored the older warriors in that moment. "I guess it would be real embarrassing for the other apprentices to hear you got thwapped by a younger apprentice with no battle training, after all." She added with a hint of mockery to her tone as she turned up her nose in a fit of haughtiness not uncommon from the self-assured she-cat. She was absolutely trying to rile up the other apprentice, though that may have simply been the byproduct of her being riled up herself rather than intentional antagonism.

Quailpaw(border patrol)
Indignation rose up inside Quailpaw at being taunted by a younger apprentice. 'No I am not!' Quailpaw retorted huffily. 'And there's no way you'd be able to beat me in a fight, the only one getting any thwapping would be you', he meowed. Despite the older cats rebukes, he couldn't resist another jibe at the younger apprentice. 'Besides', he continued',I wouldn't want to fight you anyway, you'd be way too easy', he scoffed.

(In that case I'll go ahead and do it now so we can speed things along)
Two Moons Later:
It's mid leaf-fall and the weather has been strange as of late. There has been a unusual amount of rain making the territory extra slippery and causing a couple of landslides. There had been some flooding but not enough to make the clan worried. Despite the weather, the clan continued as normal. Eaglepaw, Rainpaw, Nightpaw and Oakpaw passed their final test and received their warrior names. Flamepaw and Stormpaw's final test had to be delayed due to how severe the storms have gotten. However, on this particular day, Wolfstar saw fit that the two apprentices should be able to have their test.
Right now it's early afternoon and the day is sunny though there appear to be dark clouds in the distance.

Minnowpaw • She-cat • Apprentice Location: Camp, Open With the sun shining brightly above, the silver tabby form of Minnowpaw had finally woken, the rays of sun peeking from the exit of the Apprentice's den and urging her to motivate. An easy task when she was able to go to bed dry and wake up just as dry, but even that hadn't been as consistent as usual with all the rain. Perhaps that interruption to general clan life was evident given how late the usual early riser was awaking. It may have been early noon but Minnowpaw was notorious for waking up closer to dawn and being out ans about with her endless energy, having taken quite well to hunting early. After all, it was an apprentice's duty to hunt for the elders before they could eat themselves and by now Snowfeather had taught her plenty enough to do so even without the warrior's guidance.
Nevertheless, she had not, in fact, gotten up so early and found herself feeling unpleasantly sluggish as she stepped out from the warm den into the sunlight, the warmth of the sun itself only briefly making her consider returning to bed before she shook away such lazy thoughts. With her routine so shaken, she found herself a bit unsure what the best option for the day might be. It was easy enough to head out hunting but she wondered if maybe she should seek out her mentor first this time, but it also would have been a fun treat if she could worm her way onto the next patrol. Of course, either option required she actually find a warrior, regardless which in itself made her feel rather impatient, and all the more envious of the somewhat recently named warriors that no longer had to sit on their paws waiting to be told what to do. Honeypaw • Tom • Apprentice Location: Apprentice's Den, Open Unlike the ever lively Minnowpaw, Honeypaw remained curled in his nest with his tail flicked over his face, the occasional sniffle escaping his running nose. The weather had certainly been playing an awful trick on the clan cats, though rain wasn't particularly uncommon in the first place, and the cinnamon tabby hadn't escaped the consequences of it's fury, although he had seemed fine enough the day before. Perhaps getting caught in all those storms between his training with Leaffall and hunting to feed the elder's in his spare time had finally caught up with the young cat.
Regardless of the reasoning or how-fors, the apprentice was showing very little sign of waking up on his own, barely moving aside from the twitch or slight shift of his position and in some cases even a sneeze or cough. Even if he had managed to awaken, it was doubtful the scrap of fur would feel nearly as motivated as his siblings might, although it was fair to say despite his stickler for the rules mentality that he could hardly keep up with his siblings on a good day in that regard. Sparrowheart • She-cat • Warrior Location: Camp, Open Returning to camp after a rather successful, though short, hunt was the brown tabby and white furred form of Sparrowheart, a few fish clamped awkwardly between her jaws. With the rising waters from all the rain lately, she had been cautious but happy to take advantage of the number of fish swimming down stream. Nevertheless, stepping past the seperation of the camp from the rest or the territory, she trotted over to the freshkill pile and deposited her catches, making a note to herself to take Sunpaw out with her to get a little extra hunting in while the weather was fair.
Granted, the clouds weren't looking promising, but she still thought it better to at least have a plan even if it fell through. Stretching her legs out with a satisfied sigh that soon led to a wide yawn, she'd settle down on her rump momentarily to glance about the camp. Not only was she taking a quick glance around for her apprentice, but she was also curious if the Leader or Deputy had prepared patrols this afternoon -- maybe even hoping she hadn't missed being called upon for something of that nature. Honeywhisker • Tom • Warrior Location: Camp, Open For once it seemed the energy of Honeywhisker had in fact been contained, if only by the equally rare occurence that was the sunny weather, the ginger tabby and white furred body stretched comfortably over a rock in camp. A soft purr was rumbling from the tom who seemed remarkably comfortable as the heat sunk into his pelt, his tail swaying slowly over the edge of the stone. Certainly the most rare of sights, though hardly a permanent one given the fairly unsettling clouds in the distance, though the at least half-asleep tom was fairly unaware.
Only the faint twitch of his ear now and again signalled that he was at all aware of his surroundings, but unless spoken to directly, he seemed happy to continue relaxing. Of course, it was anyone's guess how long before he was back on his paws, the young warrior ever known to be energetic to the point of rarely staying still as it was. Granted, even like this, the lesser movements of the cat were as good a reminder as anyone to how difficult it was for him to remain inactive.

Mallardblaze & Longstorm ~ At Camp; Open
The brothers exited the warriors den, ready to start the day. While he listened to Mallardblaze grumble on about the spell of terrible weather they’ve had, Longstorm was content to give his pelt a quick wash. He didn’t mind a little rain now and again, except for thunder. Looking up seeing Honeywhisker go by, he waved his tail in greeting.
Mallardblaze ears perked a bit at the slightest sound of sniffling coming over from within the apprentices’s den. A slight feeling of dread washed over him. Storms can sometimes bring sickness, and when one cat’s sick, there’s more to follow. He can only hope it’s just one apprentice with the sniffles and not the start of an outbreak of greencough.

Robinpaw(in camp, with Minnowpaw) Little meow meowRobinpaw was woken up by the sunlight streaming into the apprentices den, she yawned and got up arching her back in a long stretch. She wanted to sleep longer, but knew there were duties to be done, and it was always better to get an early start in the morning. Shaking pieces of bedding out of her long, tortoiseshell pelt, she made her way towards the entrance of the den. On her way out she noticed Minnowpaw, near the entrance to the den. 'Good morning' she mewed to Minnowpaw. Quailpaw(in camp, open) The scent of mouse filled Quailpaw's ears as he padded through the forest, he followed the scent until he saw the furry brown creature chewing on a nut just behind a log, he dropped into hunter's crouch and began to slowly creep towards it, when he was just close enough to pounce, a hole suddenly opened up beneath him, Quailpaw yowled in terror as he plummeted down into the abyss. He woke with a start, his heart was pounding and his fur was sticking up everywhere. 'Phew!' he thought, glad that it was all a dream. Swirlflower(in camp, open) Swirlflower had just come back from an early morning hunt and she was quite pleased with her haul, two water voles and one mouse. The rain had made things slippery and it had been hard to hunt, but she was glad she had made a pretty good catch. She walked over to the fresh-kill pile and deposited her catch, then she found a nice patch of grass and began to groom herself.

Wolfstar: Camp Open
Wolfstar laid on the porch enjoying the cool air. He was a little surprised that the clouds parted to allow the sun to finally shine through. The storm from last week still shook him with how violent it seemed. For a moment, he wondered if the clan would be blown away by the strong winds. The thunder alone seemed to rock the world with how loud it was.
Sageflower: Camp Open
Sageflower goes underneath the cabin to check on some of the herbs. Because of the storms, she had to move some of her herbs inside to protect them. Since it was finally nice out, she wanted to check on what she needed and possibly take a small patrol out to fetch some more. The storms made her worried about what leaf-bare had in store for them.
Lightingwhisper: Camp Open
Lightingwhisper laid on one of the logs just relaxing as the sun warmed her fur. She would go out and train Rosepaw later. Her apprentice was starting to get the hang of things. She used the rainy days to get Rosepaw used to hunting and navigating the territory slippery terrain. Although, Snowfeather did voice some concern when Rosepaw came home limping that one day.
Shadowblaze: Camp Open
Shadowblaze was using one of the logs as a scratching post.
Oakclaw: Camp Open
Oakclaw still found it weird that he was no longer an apprentice. She found himself hanging around Screechfang much to the older tom's dismay. He considered getting a small patrol together to check the campgrounds.
(Other open cats include Rainfur, Rosepaw, Snowfeather and a few rogues from the group)

Minnowpaw • She-cat • ApprenticeLocation: Tempestclan Camp with Robinpaw🐦silvermoon2🐦 Minnowpaw's ears perked upon hearing the greeting, swivelling around until her dark green eyes landed on the target of the voice. "Oh! Good morning, Robinpaw." she would soon reply with a bright tone to her voice as she regarded the other she-cat pleasantly. "Any plans today?" she inquired curiously, no particular motive behind the question, though perhaps they could pair up for hunting or something if the opportunity arose. Regardless, the Silver tabby had missed the usual window she was comfortable spending alone during, so any engagement with a clanmate sounded more interesting then wandering about aimlessly.
The apprentice's brow briefly raised as she heard the equally brief ruckus from the apprentice's den from where she just departed. Between the coughs, sneezes and weird shuffling noises going on in there, one might think their denmates were getting into physical altercations with the common cold. However, she shook away these thoughts almost as quickly as they crossed her mind.
