I'm noticing the WG board has become pretty saturated with people who are creating RP content that doesn't quite fit in with the traditional Warriors Roleplays we have here. Things like Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Stories and discussions that start with "imagine you're a (insert Clan role here) and X happens. What would you do?"
While I really like this kind of content, I really don't feel it's appropriate for the WG board. I also feel like there's not really any appropriate place to put it on the site right now. So I was wondering if it was possible to implement some board under the "Warriors" category or maybe even a sub-board on WG that was specifically for this kind of content? Because I would really love to create and participate in it, but WG just does not feel like the place, y'know?

Skypaw13 Assuming you’re referencing these two threads, Clan Decisions Pt 1Clan Decisions Pt 2..I believe they would either fit in Warriors Fan Clans or Forum Games. Based on how those particular threads are written by OP, I’d say Forum Games. I’ll go ahead and tag staff to get a second opinion here. Sand , mintedstar/fur , got any input chiefs?

Things like this have traditionally gone in forum games from personal experience. The demand and times I see of these threads usually means that they most often fit Forum Games because there just isn't a demand for them in other places.

Those are the choose-your-own adventure thread. But there are four other threads as well-- WWYD #1 and #2, and Clan Leader Decisions #1 and #2, which are more like open-ended discussions. I will fully admit that this desire might be stemming from my type A brain hating the naturally disorganized WG, lol. |

There's similar threads in Forum Games such as the Clan history games. So, I think these Clan Decisions ones could fit in there too. Honestly, it's whatever makes WG appear more organized and follows the forum rules.
However, I feel like these thread (clan decision for example) would not receive the amount of attention that they do.
How does everyone else see this situation?
Unless like I make a separate forum game board for things like that?

I'd personally love a separate board for those kinds of things, because it's hard when you create a rp specifically for "choose your own adventure" and similar types of games like those "choose a plot" rps, and it gets swallowed by regular rps and forum games.
I used to run those types of games all the time and it was hard to find people who understood what the game even was. Maybe you could make a board targeting Game Masters like a forum version of D&D? If that makes sense. Like a board for making games for people to join and choose their own plots.

^^ I'd really like any place that is separate from games for actual in-depth games/interactive threads
warrior games is karma farm and spam and it's really hard to shine if you have an actual interactive thread instead of 'post numbers until x' spammy threads that choke everything else out
I've really wanted to bring back things like name raters, create a cat, choose-an-adventure and things like that from the old forums, but our forum games channel is not friendly towards those kinds of threads and you have to bump once every few hours to keep threads like that from getting pushed to page 3 from the waves of number-spam threads that are being refreshed constantly.

I'm wondering then if we could/should do like a Warriors Misc. which would apply to name raters, create a cat, and choose-an-adventure type of games?
It would be separate from the karma farming part of Forum Games.
