Thymeclan New members needed

"Makes sense, I know I was a pawfull as an apprentice"she said with laugh. She stretched a bit before sitting up"any specific area you wanna hunt at?"

She nodded"I'm open for a challange. I was a wild kit so I think I can handle a wild kit. Wolfkit would be better for Barkclaw"she said with a smile"eh who knows, maybe if I ever have kits, you can mentor one of them"

Ivysplash chuckled. "I think it's more about how you handle them and guide them that matters than you being a wild kit yourself." He took a final bite of the shrew. "Much like your mentor probably did they need guided and shown how to use their energy. I'm sure one of them plans to be leader one day so showing them restraint and calm/collectedness will be important too." He flicked his tail as he remembered Flowerfrost's other question. "We could hunt out by the Meadow." He grabbed up the bones from his meal and headed toward the entrance. Once he buried the bones he paused. "I think every apprentice should be trained in a way that they could all have a chance at being Leader/Deputy while not getting anyone's hopes up."

Ivysplash looked taken aback when Flowerforst asked about him taking a mate. "I ummm haven't thought about it." He said taking a couple steps. He hadn't really thought about it but he remembered his sister's love for Dolphintail her mate and the father of her kits. Though he was a warrior from what was called a rainforest who had been kidnapped from his clan by twolegs their connection had been true and sweet. Ivysplash wondered if he could find something like that. "I was mostly trying to find my place in the clan. But it's been 6 or so moons so I've kind of found my place already."

Ivysplash nodded. "I want to do whatever is in the best interest of the clan. They have done so much for my family." He took a few more steps toward the Meadow. "I can't believe it's been as long as it has since Snowdapple and I came here. We were living on our own until we met a cat named Dolphintail. He was kidnapped from his clan in a place called a rainforest. He and Snowdapple fell in love about the time we heard about Thymeclan and started traveling this way. Sadly before we made it Dolphintail got sick and passed away. Within that same moon we found the clan and Snowdapple learned she was carrying his kits." He paused and looked away his slight sadness a change from his usually stoic or grumpy demeanor. "Now Snowdapple had three beautiful kits and we all have a clan to support us."

Weaselkit - with Wishkit

With a grin she nodded at Wishkit's affirmation. Part of her thought that in a real fight whatever opponent they were facing wouldn't care much about playing fair but as much as they both pretended to be warriors it was still just a game. And constantly having to keep one's tail out of reach just wasn't much fun. When Wishkit took advantage of her messed up warrior move Weaselkit tried to roll on her back before the other kit could land on her but Wishkit had been a little too quick. "I'm still not letting you win that easily," she hissed playfully as she wriggled around, trying to roll over or at least to throw Wishkit off balance.

Wolfkit - with Gazekit

"Yeah, some tasks may seem boring but they definitely are part of what makes us a clan," he said. Sure, almost every kit, apprentice and young warrior dreamed of doing something great for the clan, something that would make the whole clan respect or admire them but any warrior worth respecting wouldn't act like taking care of their clanmates was beneath them. He knew for example that Ivysplash brought some fresh moss every day. At Gazekit's concern about Coalkit he nodded. "I still think she'll talk when she feels like it but you're right, that is a possibility," he agreed. "But you know her better than I do. I don't think it would stop her from being a warrior. You don't need your voice to hunt, fight or listen to orders. It'd make it difficult to share important information though..." he glanced over at the warriors in camp as he spoke. "But she could learn to communicate without words. And some of the more quiet warriors could have an easier time understanding her." Wolfkit looked back at Gazekit and gave a slight nod. "I suppose only time will tell. But whether she'll talk or not, I know Elmstar will pick the right mentor for her."

Silverpaw - with Coalkit and Snowdappple

With a chuckle Silverpaw nodded. "Yes, if she wants to, that is," he purred. Not that there was any doubt about it as as soon as Snowdapple released her Coalkit tried to leap onto him. With a pleased smile he watched as she immediately got back on her paws. "Good, you're getting faster already!" He laughed as she batted at him while spoke. "Let's see if you remember how to counter this!" With a grin he crouched low and shot forward to topple her over and hold her down but still careful to not hurt her, giving Snowdapple a reassuring wink. He had explained how the belly rake worked last time and he was curious to see how well Coalkit remembered the move.

Darkclaw - with Windpaw

Darkclaw gave a satisfied nod as he found nothing out of the ordinary near the Moon Mushrooms and it seemed like no one else had either. This place was safe for the leaders and medicine cats. He briefly lingered around though to make sure the really hadn't missed any scents before catching up with Windpaw again. While there hadn't been any more incidents since Thymestar's patrol's encounter with the fox he didn't want to take any chances. As they neared the next border he began to wonder about that new clan. Had they started to mark their borders yet? Maybe they would meet some of their cats. "Hm. Everything's the same as usual," he meowed once they were at the border. "Or did you find something?"

Ivysplash with Flowerfrost

Ivysplash nodded and kept walking. "You're right. And if we'd never met him we'd have never heard about the clan." He said with a purr. He shook his head and went back to his stoic self. "You and Barkclaw were born in the clan right?"

Wishkit with Weaselkit

Wishkit laughed as she played with Weaselkit. "I know you aren't gonna let me win without a fight." She wobbled as the other kit rolled around beneath her. She sighed as she fell off balance and thudded to the ground.

Gazekit with Wolfkit

"We will make it through the boring stuff easy." Gazekit said confidently. "We won't have to do everything by ourselves and if we struggle we have our clanmates to lean on." He glanced at Coalkit again. "Thanks for your comfort. I know everything will work out the way it's meant to. It's just hard cause I don't want to see either of my sister's get hurt but also know that Wishkit is spunky enough to take care of herself." He sighed and flicked his tail.

Snowdapple with Silverpaw breifly. Coalkit with Silverpaw

Snowdapple chuckled as well as Coalkit immediately shot forward and attacked Silverpaw. She knew the apprentice would play nice so she got up wandered off. "I think I'm gonna take a walk though the forest if anyone would like to join me." She said.

Coalkit looked confused for a moment as Silverpaw toppled her. She blinked slowly then realized what she must do. She gathered all her strength and started battering his belly with her back paws. Though she wad small enough for it to be unlikely to hurt him she still was careful of exactly how hard she kicked.

"Oh. So we're kind of the same then. It's a few days journey to the Twolegplace if I remember correctly." He said. He paused and scented the air and held his tail to say he scented something. Then he stalked away so that he could get a better scent. He saw a vole run to the edge of the stream and stop. He dropped into a crouch and pounced before returning with the small creature in his jaws.

Ivysplash nodded his thanks as he buried his vole by an oak tree. He watched for Flowerfrost to come back. He could smell her and a mouse nearby. He sat to wait for her to come back.

Ivysplash looked up as Flowerfrost came back. "It's much more social than my old life. It was weird at first but now I would feel empty without it." He said he motioned to her mouse. "Good catch"

Ivysplash nodded and scented the air picking up the scent of the rabbit. "Why don't you go around it and I scare it to you." He suggested. He waited for her answer.

Ivysplash looked at how the rabbit and positioned himself behind it. It was facing toward the the wind so that its scent was blowing towards him. He acted quickly and ran at it yowling. He watched it run forward and hoped that Flowerfrost would catch it. He prepared himself to give chase if it got past her.

Silversong watched from afar as her apprentice went off in the direction of the scent of vole. She watched as Poppypaw executed the jump perfectly, landing square on the prey. As Poppypaw padded towards her, she gave a trill of excitement. 
"Great job! I knew that you could do it!" She flicked her tail. "I didn't see a single flaw! You should be very proud of yourself." Silversong praised, "that looks like a fat vole, too, Heronflight and Turtlepool will be pleased, I'm sure of it!"
