Wolfkit - with Elmstar (briefly)
Wolfkit chuckled at that and dipped his head. "Right. I will do that," he purred. He also gave a brief nod to Icewhisper before he padded away from them. The kit looked around for a moment, seeing Wishkit and Weaselkit play and Gazekit chatting with Poppypaw and Silverpaw. He'd probably tell Gazekit about his conversation with Elmstar later as, aside from his siblings, he was the only one he had ever told about his condition. But he also didn't want to interrupt whatever he was talking about with the two apprentices. For now he would just play with Foxkit and tell him the good news. He spotted his brother near the nursery and with a playful hiss ran towards him.
Icewhisper - with Elmstar (briefly)
Icewhisper flicked her tail at Wolfkit and watched him run off to play with his brother. Then she nodded when Elmstar spoke. "Better early than too late," she said. "Gazekit is very excited to learn everything a medicine cat needs to know so it might be the perfect time to have an apprentice. And you're right I suppose. Things might be going well right now but I'm sure once leaf-bare comes there will be more than plenty of work." With a smile she dipped her head. "Anyway, I was just letting you know so you won't have to pick out a warrior mentor for him," she purred. "That would be all for now, I will leave you to your duties then."
Silverpaw - with Gazekit and Poppypaw
"Yeah, I think he did mention something like that." With an excited grin he nodded to Poppypaw when Gazekit said that they might go to the first one. He did like the idea of them being some of the first to attend a gathering like that. "Well, if it's at the end of next moon I hope you'll go too," he then said to Gazekit. It would definitely be exciting for him.
Heronflight - with Turtlepool
"Oh, that might work," she agreed with a purr. "None of the stories young cats are curious about. No, only those where you can tell that the youngsters want to either fall asleep or ask you to shut up but would never do so out of politeness." She chuckled as she recalled something similar from her own time as an apprentice. Not only had she been told to remove some ticks from the elders, she also had to put up with their stories as she worked on them and had to stop herself from just running out of their den.
Weaselkit - with Wishkit
Weaselkit quickly rolled over once she noticed Wishkit letting go of her tail and tried to duck out of the way when she pummelled her. With a yowl she then leapt to her paws and briefly looked around to see where Wishkit had ran off too. She spotted her friend right as she stuck out her tongue at her and with another exaggerated yowl she charged at her with a huge grin on her face, trying to tackle her to the ground.

Elmstar with Icewhisper (briefly) then Ivysplash and Shortcake.
Elmstar laughed as Wolfkit left and went to play with Foxkit. He turned back to Icewhisper and nodded. Before she left he dipped his head. "I will need your help picking out mentors for the others. I think I might pair Rainsong and Coalkit since I've heard that Coalkit hasn't said a peep from birth and Rainsong is a more reserved cat." He said. He waved his redish-gold tail to her as she left. Then his gaze came upon Ivysplash and Shortcake. He stood and walked over to them his demeanor calm and cool. "Ivysplash, who is this and why have you brought them to our camp?" He asked flicking his tail. He wasn't angry just perturbed.

Icewhisper - Open
"Sure, we can do that after you have dealt with them," Icewhisper said, nodding towards Ivysplash and the young cat he had brought. "But yes, Rainsong seems like a good pick for Coalkit. I've been watching her for the past few moons and as far as I can tell there is nothing wrong with her. She seems to be one of the cats who will talk when they feel like it so a more quiet mentor who won't pressure her into speaking will be a good match." She briefly glanced at Ivysplash and Shortcake and then padded off towards her den.
Adderheart - Open
Adderheart sat near the entrance and looked curiously at Ivysplash who had brought a loner with him. Not that bringing in strangers is anything unusual these days, she thought with a quiet chuckle. For a moment she just watched them, wondering what Elmstar would decide but she also didn't want to stick around when she could do something more useful with her time. She flicked her tail, got to her paws and padded through the entrance, ready for some hunting.

Cloudflower - to Webwillow
Cloudflower purred in amusement. "That right? I bet a great hunter like you could feed the whole clan! The rest of us would never have to lift a paw again!" He stretched out his front paws and gaze up at the clouds. "It's nice to lay back with clanmates, though. It would be a shame if you didn't get to enjoy that too." An idea came to mind that perked his ears up. He turned to Webwillow with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Hey, how about we play a little cat watching game to pass the time? We point out cats we can see and guess what they're thinking. Sounds fun, right?"

Gazekit and Poppypaw with Silverpaw
Gazekit nodded. "If nothing else I'll meet their medicine cat when they go to the Moon Mushrooms with Icewhisper and I. That is if she thinks I'm ready for it." He purred at the thought of meeting new cats and being outside the camp.
Poppypaw purred at the mention of going to the Gathering. "Oh that sounds wonderful. To meet different cats! And exchange news." She bounced a little in excitement.
Turtlepool with Heronflight
"Maybe it's my old age but I always enjoy yours and Loststories stories." She laughed. Then nodded. "I'm sure I've seen at least a couple kits nod off to our stories. But I would think stories about fighting off badgers and foxes would be entertaining."
Wishkit with Weaselkit
Wishkit laughed as Weaselkit yowled at her for sticking put her tongue. She danced around trying to dodge her friend's attacks but was knocked to the ground after a little bit. She growled and wriggled under the weight of the other kit.
Ivysplash with Elmstar and Shortcake
Ivysplash coughed as Elmstar's gaze fell upon the two. He hoped Elmstar wasn't angry and stepped to the side to fully reveal Shortcake. "Elmstar this is Shortcake and I found them trespassing on our territory trying to hunt a mouse." He said. He puffed out hid chest.

Silverpaw - with Gazekit and Poppypaw"Well, she'll definitely has to take you there to officially make you her apprentice," Silverpaw said. "But yeah, since she goes there every half moon Roseclan's medicine cat will probably do the same." A Poppypaw's excitement he gave an enthusiastic nod. "I really want to meet their warriors and apprentices! So far I only know Brightpaw but I'm really curious about how he and the others are doing in their training so far!" Heronflight - with Turtlepool"Well, we sure have a lot to tell, that's for sure. We've seen and experienced quite a lot, after all," she laughed. "But yes, stories about fighting foxes and badgers are exactly what the others would want to hear. Too bad there are also stories about the most mundane things." With another laugh she shook her head. "I remember Dustfall and her long-winded tales of getting her paw stuck under some roots or how she once dragged some brambles back to camp because they got stuck to her fur. Oh, and one time she went into great detail to describe how awful some herbs tasted!" Weaselkit - with Wishkit
Weaselkit laughed as she tried to hold Wishkit down, looking quite triumphant. She batted at her a few times, giving a playful growl as she did. Then she stepped back and turned around to try out that back kick she had seen some of the apprentices do. Being too excited however she put too much weight on her front paws and toppled over with an undignified yelp. With a sneeze and a small chuckle she sat up but left herself unguarded by doing so.
(Also, good thing Rainsong isn't with Cloudflower and Webwillow right now. He'd probably beat them both at this cat watching game or at least be tough competition xD)

Webwilllow with Cloudflower
Webwillow giggled at Cloudflower's comment about her hunting skills. She sighed and shook her head. "I feel like I'm always hunting. But I guess I enjoy it more than moss gathering." She said this and then listened to the tom's game idea. "Okay you go first. What do you think Ivysplash is thinking?" She said pointing out the tom next to Elmstar and Shortcake.
Elmstar with Ivysplash and Shortcake
Elmstar sighed as Ivysplash told his tale. He wondered if there would be another mass movement of cats into the territory like with the Roseclan cats or if this was just a coincidence. "And what do you have to say for yourself Shortcake?" He said to the young cat.
Windpaw Open
Windpaw chewed on his mouse and sighed. He wondered what would happen next. He thought about the fact that his final assessment would happen soon. Within the moon to be exact.

Gazekit and Poppypaw with Silverpaw
Gazekit nodded happily as Silverpaw confirmed his suspicions that the Roseclan Medicine Cat would likely join Icewhisper to the Moon Mushrooms. He nodded and wondered what the cats were doing since they had left the Thymeclan camp that day.
Poppypaw wriggled in excitement. She had only just been made an apprentice from being too sick and weak at 6 moons to become one. "I met Petalpaw and Mistpaw. They are probably going to become warriors in the next moon. So they are like Windpaw's age." She said in excitement.
Turtlepool with Heronflight
Turtlepool laughed. "I had run ins with roots. I hurt my forepaw running through the woods. There was a dog chasing me and if it weren't for Thymestar it would have shredded me."
Wishkit with Weaselkit
Wishkit battled back against the batting of Weaselkit. She jumped back and forth trying to distract her friend. She stood still trying to figure out what she was trying to do when she tried the back kick. She laughed as her friend toppled forward and pounced on her after she started to give up. "Say I got you and I'll get off of you." She said placing a paw on Weaselkit's belly.

Shortcake shuffled on their paws. "I'm sorry, sir, I didn't mean nothing by it. I was just- I just got here not long ago after escaping a monster and I hadn't eaten in a while. I wouldn't have tried if I'd known this was your territory." They took a brief look around the camp, "There's so many of you! I was starting to think I was all alone out here. You must be really smart for this many cats to want to follow you!"
Cloudflower - to Webwillow
Cloudflower's ears perked towards Ivysplash with a purr, "He's thinking..." Suddenly Cloudflower's face drooped and eyes narrowed as he put on a grumpy voice, "Why do I always get stuck dealing with strange loners? Oh, Elmstar, please let me rake this little furball's ears off for their insolence!" He let out a melodramatic grumble, then perked back up to his usual dozy smile and said to Webwillow, "pretty good, don't you think?" Then scanned the camp for the she-cat's target. "How about Heronflight?"

Silverpaw - with Gazekit and Poppypaw
"Maybe Windpaw will be one of the cats for the gathering? There's a lot he could talk about with apprentices nearing the end of their training," Silverpaw suggested. "If the next full moon is before their warrior ceremony, I mean."
Heronflight - with Turtlepool
"We all sure had our less than impressive moments," Heronflight agreed with a chuckle, smiling at the mention of Thymestar. She still missed him, of course, but she liked to remember the better memories the clan had of him. "One time I was trying to catch a bird near the pond," she laughed. "I wasn't too shabby at catching them mid-air but that one time I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings and jumped right into the pond and missed the bird completely."
Weaselkit - with Wishkit
Weaselkit hissed when Wishkit pounced on her and tried to twist out of her grasp. With a playful snarl she moved her paws in an attempt to push her off. At her friends words she laughed. No way she was gonna do that. She would get out of this with her own strength. Weaselkit tried to think about how her brothers would handle it. Foxkit would keep trying and Wolfkit... not even entirely finishing that thought she grinned and relaxed, seemingly stopping her attempts of throwing Wishkit off. "Alright, alright, I'll say it!" she exclaimed. She briefly waited for her friend to react to this, then tried and push her off once more and purred: "'I got you'," deliberately taking her demand too literally.

Elmstar to Shortcake and Ivysplash.
Elmstar nodded as Shortcake told their story. He held back on rolling his eyes at their comment about him being a good leader if so many followed him. "Flattery will get you no where." He said sternly. Then he looked at Ivysplash. "Ivysplash, you will show them around and find them a nest. They appear to be apprentice age so you will be their mentor and make sure they learn our code." He paused and looked at Shortcake. "That is if you'd like to stay."
Webwillow to Cloudflower
Webwillow chuckled at Cloudflower's impression of Ivysplash. "You must remember He was a loner not that many seasons ago. He and Snowdapple came not long before she gave birth to her kits. And they are just nearly old enough to be apprentices." She said. Then she turned over to Heronflight. "I think she's probably smelling the mouse bile that Wolfkit just used on Turtlepool. And probably gossiping away with her too."

Gazekit and Poppypaw with Silverpaw
The silver tomkit flicked his tail. He looked over at the eldest apprentice. Wondering what it was like to be almost a warrior. Not that he'd ever know. "Elmstar sure has a big ceremony coming. Choosing 5 warriors to be mentors and choosing a name for Windpaw." He said.
Poppypaw nodded to Silverpaw. "I think we just had a full moon recently but I could be wrong." She flicked her tail. "I really like Petalpaw. I think I'd like to get to know her better." She blushed not knowing if it was appropriate to have a friend in another clan.
Turtlepool with Heronflight.
Turtlepool chuckled. "We all do have mishaps sometimes." She sighed as she thought about Thymestar. "I feel like I remember you coming back soaked once. You didn't want to talk about it though."
(I think I need to make Thymestar much older than he was from the way they were talking. I think I've got him at 80 moons but he should have been at least 20 when they were apprentices since he started the clan.)
Wishkit with Weaselkit
Wishkit waited for Weaselkit to give in though she knew she wouldn't. So when she did she made a noise of surprise and loosened her grip for one second. Weaselkit must of known she would cause she got free. She laughed when she said "I got you"

Silverpaw - with Gazekit and Poppypaw
"It must be really exciting to you all and Windpaw," Silverpaw said. Gazekit was right, next ceremony was going to be a big one. One new warrior, five new warrior apprentices and also a cat for Icewhisper to train. "He'll sure have a lot to announce at the gathering coming after that." At Poppypaw's words he nodded, not bothered at all that she wanted to meet Petalpaw again. "You might get to see her at a border patrol," he suggested. "But I guess there won't be much time to talk. There's always the gathering though." He grinned a little. "And you're not the only one with friends in Roseclan. I'm curious about how Brightpaw is doing so I totally get it."
Heronflight - with Turtlepool
"Well, I was pretty embarrassed by it then," Heronflight replied with a chuckle. "Such a dumb mistake just a few days after earning my name? What new warrior wouldn't be too ashamed to talk about it?" She shook her head and laughed. "It's strange, the sorts of things younger cats get so upset about. And once they grow older they mind it less and less, realizing that some things aren't as big of a deal as they thought at first."
Weaselkit - with Wishkit
With a triumphant "HA!" Weaselkit managed to free herself and quickly rolled out of reach. "I wonder if any warrior would be crazy enough to try that," she laughed, referring to both Wishkit's attempt of getting her to admit defeat and her own cheeky trick to get out of it with her pride intact. She kept her eyes on Wishkit though, not wanting to be caught off guard again.

Shortcake's eyes went wide with their smile. They turned towards Ivysplash and then back to Elmstar. "Really? I can join you? Oh, please!" they hopped on their paws with excitement.
Cloudflower - to webwillow
Cloudflower nodded as though he did not fully absorb what Webwillow said before resting his chin to his paws. "Yeah, I remember now. The camp is certainly lively with so many kits now. Gosh, I don't remember having so much energy as they do, do you?" His lip curled into a small grin at her guess. "It must be nice to simply gossip all day, it might almost make up for the constant stench of mouse-bile."

Gazekit nodded and bounced a little. "I definitely am excited. I'll get to help Icewhisper stock up on herbs and get to minister to my fellow clanmates. Poppy seeds for pain and borage for queens. I will be proud to help you with any ailment whether it's a scratch or a thorn." He said. He quit his bouncing and puffed out his chest.
Poppypaw laughed at Gazekit's enthusiasm. "I would love to go to the Gathering. I'm sure they will have a lot to announce too. With making all those loners warriors. And I can't help but feel like there could be more than that happening." She said. She twitched her nose and sat up. "Brightpaw is our age right?" She asked Silverpaw.
Turtlepool with Heronflight
Turtlepool nodded in silence. She knew that it could be embarrassing to make a mistake. "I guess it's easier to make a mistake when it feels like everyone is no longer watching you." She said. "At one point I might have been embarrassed to call across camp to Icewhisper that I had a tick but no longer." She chuckled.
Wishkit with Weaselkit
Wishkit plopped down with a thud panting. "I don't think a fox or badger would say 'oh you give up? Okay' and let you go like that. But it might catch a rogue by surprise." She giggled at the thought of a warrior trying that. She sighed and got to her paws. "I'm so tired but I don't want to take a nap." She looked around trying to see what trouble they could get into.
(I wanna say thanks to Pine and Ivy for sticking around even though it's been quite dead. And Yacinthe for bringing some fresh cats in for the 3 of us to rp with.)

Elmstar held back a chuckle as Shortcake got excited. "Don't make me regret my decision." He said sternly to the young cat. He turned to their new mentor. "Get them something to eat and then get to training right away. They are probably a couple moons behind on their training." He waited for a response from the two before dipping his head and walking away.
Webwillow with Cloudflower
Webwillow laughed as Cloudflower asked about a lack of energy. "I'm still quite energetic. Maybe not to the capacity they are since they haven't know the stimulation of the forest yet." She flicked her tail at where Wishkit and Weaselkit just finished playing. "I wish I was as firey as those two. They have potential I've never seen in any other cats. I would think when they are grown one of them will be leader."l

Ivysplash with Elmstar (breifly) and Shortcake
Ivysplash nodded. He was excited to be trusted enough now to be given an apprentice but felt bad for it being another loner and not a clan born kit. He knew Elmstar meant nothing by it though. He dipped his head to his leader and headed off toward the prey pile. "You may pick something small to eat. Then I will decide how to start your training. We might do a daily swim or run to get your squishy kittypet body into shape." He said with a flick of his tail. He hoped he wouldn't offend the young cat but they would likely get picked on by cats like Houndear who seemed like a clan purist.

Shortcake's tail tip vibrated with excitement, but they did their best to bow respectfully to Elmstar and said, "Thank you!" before following their mentor. The puffed up their fur at Ivysplash's comment. "I'm tougher than I look!" The mere mention of food, however, caused their stomach to growl, and made them deflate with embarrassment. But I can't wait to meet everyone. I'm not alone anymore... They thought as they grabbed a small songbird. I hope I can get along with them.

Silverpaw - with Gazekit and Poppypaw
Silverpaw chuckled at Gazekit's excitement. "I'm sure you'll do great," he meowed sincerely. "Icewhisper couldn't ask for a better apprentice. You'll learn fast, that's for sure!" Gazekit was so enthusiastic about this that Silverpaw had no doubt that he was meant for this. Just like Wishkit and Weaselkit were likely to have great futures ahead of them as well, even if they expressed their excitement differently from Gazekit.
He grinned when Poppypaw spoke about the Gathering. "Poor Silverrose had to name a lot of cats," he chuckled. "I wonder what the new names for them are. Roseclan will definitely have a lot to announce!" At her question he nodded. "Yeah, he's eight moons old like me. And there might be other apprentices around our age. Really makes me want to meet them."
Heronflight - with Turtlepool
"I suppose that's true," she agreed. "And I guess its also how experience can change your perspective on things. An apprentice or newly named warrior might hide in shame from something that an older warrior would simply laugh off and move on from." She chuckled when Turtlepool talked about being embarrassed about ticks at first and nodded. "I think that's how most elders felt at first. They know it's something the others do a lot but having to do so for the first time can feel a little embarrassing."
Weaselkit - with Wishkit
"Who knows? It might actually work on a rogue," she chuckled as she sat down. "Wouldn't count on it though." It was a funny thought though, imagining one of the more experienced warriors pulling such a trick. "Yeah, I don't feel like napping either," she then said. She looked around to see what the others were doing. Gazekit was with Poppypaw and Silverpaw and Coalkit was with Snowdapple. She also spotted Wolfkit wrestling with Foxkit but after playing so much with Wishkit she felt too tired to join them. As she looked around she did spot someone new though. Ivysplash was leading a cat she didn't know to the fresh kill pile. "Who is that?" she wondered.

Ivysplash chuckled as Shortcake's stomach growling. "Hungry are we? Eat up and then we'll go for a hunt. That way you can replace what you ate." He sat and waited for the other cat to finish and he thought about where to go in the territory. He flicked his tail and thought to himself.
Gazekit and Poppypaw with Silverpaw
Gazekit beamed as Silverpaw said Icewhisper couldn't ask for a better apprentice. He knew he would do well but his friend's praise helped him to feel even more confident. "Thanks. I'm sure Basilwhisker feels the same about you." He bumped into the other in a goofy manner and did the same to Poppypaw.
Poppypaw laughed at Gazekit's bump and nodded to Silverpaw. "She did have alot of cats to name. And she had to match up apprentices to mentors when she wasn't sure of everyone's personality types." She flicked her tail around her paws and blinked her two colored eyes. "I can't wait to meet them either."
Turtlepool with Heronflight.
Turtlepool nodded. "Yeah it is a little embarrassing to say I can't help myself. But we worked our whole lives for this clan so we deserve to be able to say hey I need help." She looked around camp and her eyes alighted on Cloudflower and Webwillow. "I wonder what they are doing?"
Wishkit with Weaselkit.
Wishkit sighed. "Why do we have to get tired?" She whined. Then she perked up when Weaselkit pointed out the newcomer. "I don't know. Maybe we can check it out. They can't be dangerous if Ivysplash isn't fighting them."
Basilwhisker Open
Basilwhisker walked through the camp entrance with a couple mice in his jaws. He walked over to the freshkill pile and dropped them then he walked off. Not noticing Shortcake nearby.

Shortcake nodded and quickly finished off their small mouse. Once done they hopped up to Ivysplash's side. "What are we going to hunt? where are we going to hunt?"

Ivysplash to Shortcake.
Ivysplash thought for a minute as Shortcake finished. "Why don't you pick out another piece of prey first. I see two curious kits who would like to meet you." He walked over toward Weaselkit and Wishkit and stood. He learned down and touched his nose to Wishkit's head a loving gesture for such a grumpy cat. "This is Wishkit and Weaselkit. They are going to be apprentices like you soon. This is Shortcake." He said to his apprentice and the she-kits.

Shortcake - To Ivysplash
Shortcake's tail twitched in surprise, then looked over to the pair of she-kits. The two must have been very close to their age, as they were the same size. They purred, "Hello! I'm joining thymeclan! And Ivysplash is going to be my mentor. It's nice to meet you."

Silverpaw - with Gazekit and Poppypaw
Silverpaw gave an embarrassed chuckle and playfully bumped into Gazekit, returning his gesture. "He did sound pretty pleased with our previous battle training session," he purred. He would keep in mind what Basilwhisker had pointed out to him so he could improve on it too. Glancing at Poppypaw he nodded. "Must be hard, figuring out who to assign to which apprentices when you know so little about them. But I'm sure everyone is eager to do their best!"
Heronflight - with Turtlepool
"True enough," she meowed with a slight smile. "And it'll be the same for the youngsters one day. I hope they remember that when they complain about some of their apprentice duties," she added with a laugh. Then she followed Turtlepool's gaze, spotting Webwillow and Cloudflower. "Gossiping or watching the clan, perhaps." She grinned and added jokingly: "Trying to get a feel for what it's like to be an elder."
Weaselkit - with Wishkit, Ivysplash and Shortcake
Weaselkit nodded, pouting a little. "Yeah. Well, we'll train hard so we won't tire out as much," she decided. At Wishkit's observation about Shortcake she mewed in agreement. Besides, Elmstar was nearby too end he didn't try to chase this new cat off. She stood up straighter when Ivysplash walked over to them and meowed a polite greeting to the warrior. Then she looked at the newcomer, not even bothering with hiding her curiosity. "Hello Shortcake!" she meowed cheerfully. "Nice to meet you too!" She looked back and forth between them and Ivysplash. "And yeah, Wishkit and I will be apprentices in less than a moon so you better get ready!" It made her all the more excited, having another cat to compete with. "We're already training really hard to become the best apprentices! And the best warriors. Anyway, welcome to Thymeclan!"

(I forgot to have Elmstar give Shortcake the name Littlepaw. Oh well. He can do a meeting later to introduce them to the clan.)

Ivysplash and Wishkit with Shortcake and Weaselkit.
Ivysplash nodded to Weaselkit as she gave a polite greeting. He waited til the three young cats finished talking. "Once you're finished here we will go to the Meadow to show you how to hunt."
Wishkit purred at Ivysplash and then at Shortcake. "Yeah Weaselkit is right. We're gonna be the best the clan has ever seen." She stood up straight and stuck her tongue out at Weaselkit.
Turtlepool with Heronflight
Turtlepool nodded. "Yes of course. If they knew for a second what it was like to be stuck in camp all the time or remember it from when they were kits, then they would pay us all the more respect." She tilted her head watching the two. "It appears they are watching the clan the way we do."
