sorry I haven't been on here in a long time))

Jaypaw sat in the apprentice den waiting for something to do, she was in the mood to hunt but the other cats in the camp made her feel a little uncomfortable. She sighed and lay down thinking about what she would do as a warrior if she ever got to be one.

Cenra - with Feather, Apple and Snow

Cenra relaxed a little at the she-cats reassurance and dipped her head to the aggressive tom. "I didn't expect to find anyone here," she said. "But like Feather said, we won't harm you." She gave a friendly smile. "Well, while we're at introductions, I'm Cenra. And you two are...?"

Weaselkit, Wolfkit and Foxkit - with Wishkit and Gazekit

Weaselkit took a single step towards the group but didn't dare to go any further. She just wished they would finish talking soon so Cherrystar could tell the clan what all of this meant.

Wolfkit nodded. "That makes sense. And they must have travelled very far if we have never heard of them before," he said. "I don't think they even knew there was a clan here. But they must have left their homes for a reason." He counted the visitors and thought about it for a moment. "Maybe they've been sent out because their clans are in trouble. But if they really didn't know about us what were they hoping to find when they set out?"

Foxkit sat down beside Wishkit and glanced at the cats every few seconds. He heard Gazekit and Wolfkit trying to figure out what those cats wanted but he didn't really listen to them. "I wish we could leave camp," he said, not feeling like playing in plain view of so many strange cats. Then he noticed Cherrystar motioning towards the nursery with her tail. "Oh no. Don't tell me they're gonna live with us."

Icewhisper - with Cherrystar, Hollowsky, Silverrose, Swallowbreeze and Minty

Icewhisper dipped her head at Cherrystar's words. "It's a risk but it's what we have to do," she agreed. She turned back to Silverrose and Swallowbreeze and smiled when the latter agreed to help with creating the new clan. "Looks like you're of to a good start," she purred. Then she looked directly at Silverrose. "I know you said you're the most likely candidate for the leader position and if Cherrystar allows it I will show you the Moon Mushrooms once you have a territory and a camp. Your clan will need their own medicine cat though. Is there anyone among your group who could take that role?"

Heronflight - with Turtlepool

"Perhaps. We really don't know much about what's outside our territory. But yes, they could also be a bunch of cats." She kept watching the groups. "I know it's no use speculating about them and that we'll find out soon enough but it's not every day we get to witness something like that."

Silverpaw, Storm and Brightpaw - with Basilwhisker

Silverpaw nodded with narrowed eyes. "Alright. Let's get going then." He led the way back to camp, glancing at the two every now and then. Would Cherrystar believe their story? As far as he knew there had never been cats who claimed to be part of another clan. Once they had reached camp Silverpaw paused for a moment to look at Storm and Brightpaw one more time, then he flicked his tail and entered. He stepped aside to make way for Basilwhisker and the two strangers - and froze when he saw all the cats who were with Cherrystar. "Great Starclan, what's going on here?" he whispered.

Brightpaw looked up in surprise and while the two clancats still seemed wary of them he couldn't help but smile a little. "Thank you," he meowed and dipped his head to the warrior. Talking to their leader wouldn't be easy but he was relieved that they hadn't been sent away. He followed the silver tabby who kept glancing at them, looking both curious and suspicious. Once they entered camp he looked around for a moment, taking in the sight. It was different from his old home but still similar. He also looked at all those cats, noting how big this clan was. That's when he noticed Silverpaw staring at a group of cats. "They're not part of the clan?" he asked quietly upon seeing the other apprentice's reaction.

Snowdapple and Coalkit OPEN
Snowdapple layed down outside the newly expanded den and started to groom the dirt from her paws. The white fur between her claws was colored deep brown from all the dirt.

Coalkit settled back down by Snowdapple as the queen lay back down. She snuggled into the side of her mother and fell asleep.

Wishkit and Gazekit with Weaselkit, Wolfkit, and Foxkit
When Weaselkit took a step forward Wishkit hissed a little without meaning too. She took half a step backwards and considered running to Snowdapple when Cherrystar sent one of the cats, a heavily pregnant one, off toward the nursery. She took a step forward again and sat beside Foxkit and leaned against him. "That she-cat looks like she's pregnant. But she could sleep in the other side of the nursery and Snowdapple won't let her hurt us."

Gazekit nodded along with each of the statements that Wolfkit made. "Or maybe they are all that's left of their clans. Maybe something big happened to each one and the survivors are all coming this way." He moved closer to Wolfkit and glanced over to where Foxkit and Wishkit sat side by side. "Its okay you two." He cooed.

Turtlepool with Heronflight
"Now look. Basilwhisker and Silverpaw are bringing two more cats in. Where are all these cats coming from?" She asked shaking jer head and then clearing her throat.

Frostfeather OPEN
Frostfeather walked into camp and her fur was still damp from fishing. She carried two large fish and a smaller one in her jaws. She padded over and dropped the two larger ones in the freshkill pile and settled down with the smaller one to eat. She dipped her head in return to Ripplefur as the warrior passed by her on the way out of camp.

Basilwhisker with Silverpaw, Storm, and Brightpaw
Basilwhisker was the last of the group to come through camp. He paused confused as he was hit with the scent of many strangers. "Where did all these cats come from?" Je asked aloud seeking out Cherrystar and spotting her with three strange cats along with Icewhisper and Hollowsky.

Ivysplash with Swallowbreeze, Minty, Darkclaw,  and Nutshine
Ivysplash fluffed up his fur a little without noticing it when he noticed the cat that Ebonyflame brought in was Ophelia. Thought he didn't know here name he knew she was vicious. Maybe the fact that she now appeared heavily pregnant helped disguise that but he knew the truth.

Poppykit
"I hope they don't distract Cherrystar too much. I do want to become an apprentice this moon." Poppykit said pushing harder at the brambles. They moved outward fast and she almost fell down. "We're going to need more moss too but I can't help you with that."

Silverrose and family with Cherrystar,  Hollowsky, Swallowbreeze, Minty, and Icewhisper
Silverrose shook her head. "None of us know much about herbs. And we're a little worse for the wear. I could use my paw pad looked at it was bleeding earlier." She said glancing at her family who were sharing tongues to keep calm from all the stares they were getting.

Apple and Snow with Cenra and Feather
Apple acknowledged both she-cats comments before shaking his head. "We travelled here from some distance because of a group of rouges that moved in near the twoleg place where we lived. They were nasty and chased us out." He said gruffly.

Snow put her tail back on Apple's shoulders gently. "We've been here a couple of moons though and haven't had much trouble." She said licking the side of Apple's face.

Feather gasped when she listened to Apple's story. She then nodded her agreement at Cenra's statement about the clan cats. "I was talking to one earlier today and she seemed pretty friendly since I stayed on our side of the border."

Cherrystar - Camp - Icewhisper, Hollowsky, Silverrose, Swallowbreeze, Minty, Brightpaw, Storm, Basilwhisker
Cherrystar’s gaze followed Ophelia as she headed toward the nursery. Sighing, she turned back to the group, only to noticed two more cats had joined them. “Uh, thank you, Basilwhisker. Who might you be?” She asked, turning to Storm and Brightpaw. She, all of a sudden, felt the curious stares of her clanmates watching the group and she figured it would probably be good to address them soon. But for now, she wanted to keep her attention on the newcomers.

Sakura - Camp - Poppykit
Sakura grinned at the kit. “I’ll make sure she doesn’t forget, ok? Don’t you worry.” She tucked stray brambles against others that were firmer in place. Then she turned to the clearing again. “Are you sure your good here? I can always get one of the apprentices to grab some moss.”

Weaselkit, Wolfkit and Foxkit - with Wishkit and Gazekit

Weaselkit still couldn't keep her eyes from the guests but nodded. She still didn't mind the newcomers too much but she also didn't want to spend the rest of her life with that many cats.

Wolfkit stared at the two new cats. "Are they finally done with bringing in strangers?" he whispered. There was no way they could live with that many cats, even if they expanded all the dens. "Cherrystar can't let all of them live here. Unless she wants to expand our territory, I guess." He didn't like that idea too much though. "Maybe they could... Nevermind, there's no way they could do that." he shook his head and didn't finish that thought. Those cats couldn't just form their own clan, after all, could they?

Foxkit didn't move from where he sat but looked up when more cats entered camp. At Wishkit's words he nodded. "Yeah. I didn't mind Sakura or Poppykit. But this is crazy. We've never had this many loners at the same time."

Heronflight - with Turtlepool

Heronflight nodded. "I wish they would just get on with it so we can know what's happening," she said.

Icewhisper - with Cherrystar, Hollowsky, Silverrose, Swallowbreeze, Minty, Brightpaw and Storm

"Alright. Once we're done here I want all of you just outside my den," Icewhisper said. "It won't take too long and you would all be able to sleep inside the warrior's den." She took a closer look at Silverrose's paw. It would be better to deal with the thorn right now. "Do you want me to take care of that right here or would you rather go somewhere more secluded? Either way, I'll go grab something for that. If you don't mind all the others watching you then stay right here. Otherwise just follow me and make sure to not use this paw."

Brightpaw and Storm - with Cherrystar, Hollowsky, Silverrose, Swallowbreeze and Minty

Storm lowered his gaze as he slowly padded closer to the cat who seemed to be the leader. Brightpaw followed after a moment of hesitation. "Greetings, Cherrystar," Storm meowed, remembering the name that had been mentioned by Basilwhisker earlier back in the territory. "My name is Storm and this is Brightpaw. We've come here because we were hoping to either find a place for my friend or to find out if there are other clans nearby." He paused, not sure how to continue. "But maybe I should just let Brightpaw explain."

Brightpaw simply nodded. "Before I met Storm I belonged to a clan not unlike this one," he said. "But a little over a moon ago Ridgeclan was destroyed. I don't know if there are others or if I'm the only one left. Storm and I have spend the past moon trying to find either other cats of my old clan or a group of loners." He paused for a moment, then he looked up and continued. "Today we've come across your border. I didn't expect to actually find another clan. Anyway, we thought we could ask if you knew something about there being even more clans. We're not expecting you to let us stay here, after all. Your clan looks big enough as it is and we kind of crossed your border without permission."

Storm sighed at that last part. "You didn't have to mention that," he mumbled. To Cherrystar and her cats he said "Anyway, that wasn't his fault and I didn't listen when he told me to wait at your border. I'll leave at once if you don't want me here."

Cenra - with Feather, Apple and Snow

Cenra gave a slight smile. "They're not vicious, at least if you don't steal their prey or provoke them. I've never seen the exact place where they live so I don't know everything," she said. "But from what I've seen they're a large group where everyone takes care of the other. Older cats teach younger ones how to hunt and fight. Everyone hunts for the whole clan so no one goes hungry. And Feather told me that they take protecting kits, anyone's kits, very seriously." She waited to see if Feather would say something about the clan too.

Wishkit just stayed pressed up against Foxkit not saying a word. She had calmed down a bit but she still looked uncomfortable about the other cats.

Gazekit shook his head. "I think she will let them stay to rest but I don't think they will stay forever. The clan is big enough as it is. They already had to expand the nursery just with us growing up more. I can't imagine eleven more cats plus that she-cat's kits when they come."

Turtlepool with Heronflight
Turtlepool nodded her agreement. "Maybe after she finishes with these two she will make an announcement. " she said hopefully.

Frostfeather OPEN
Frostfeather walked into camp and her fur was still damp from fishing. She carried two large fish and a smaller one in her jaws. Basilwhisker stepped back to let the two strangers meet with the leader. He sat down next to Silverpaw and listened as best he could to the conversation.

Ivysplash OPEN
Once Minty and Swallowbreeze left to talk to Cherrystar Ivysplash walked off into camp. He didn't like that Ophelia seemed to be joining the clan but she was pregnant and he respected Cherrystar's decisions.

Poppykit
Poppykit nodded. "Yeah it will take me a bit to do but I can handle it." She said throwing her body weight against the brambles. She moved the brambles a few inches. She then moved on to another part of the den brambles sticking to her fur

Silverrose with Icewhisper
Silverrose followed after Icewhisper carefully limping to keep from using her injured paw. She sat down outside of the Medicine cat's den and waited patiently for her to come back out.

Apple and Snow with Cenra and Feather
Apple relaxed and layed down a little more than he had before when the others said the clan cats were okay as long as you stayed off their territory.

Snow was watching Cenra and Feather intently. She sucked up all the information they gave her. "I think I would like to live like that with maybe a small group of cats. I like the idea of working together for the good of all cats." She purred and looked at Apple.

Weaselkit, Wolfkit and Foxkit - with Wishkit and Gazekit

Weaselkit jumped to her paws when Cherrystar finally called a clan meeting. She stayed where she was, though.

Wolfkit nodded. Before he could say anything Cherrystar gathered the clan. He looked over to the gathered cats. "Looks like we'll finally know," he said.

Foxkit kept listening to the others but kept quiet. He looked up though when Cherrystar finally addressed the clan.

Heronflight - with Turtlepool

She nodded and looked over at the group again. When Cherrystar called a clan meeting she got up to her paws. "Ah, there it is. Let's see what she has to say," she meowed as she slowly padded over to the others.

Brightpaw and Storm - with Cherrystar, Hollowsky and Swallowbreeze

Brightpaw looked relieved upon hearing that Cherrystar wouldn't send Storm away. He then nodded when she said she would fill them in a moment. He briefly glanced at the other cats who seemed to be strangers to this clan and then looked back at Cherrystar.

"Thank you," Storm meowed and dipped his head. He then waited to see what Cherrystar was going to tell her clan.
Darkclaw, Adderheart and Rainsong

Adderheart jumped to her paws and padded over to the others. Maybe they would finally learn what all these cats were doing here. Darkclaw followed soon after while Rainsong kept sitting where he was for a while. Once most cats were gathered he went to join them.

Icewhisper - with Silverrose

Icewhisper had grabbed some herbs and nodded when she saw that Silverrose had followed her. She motioned for her to sit or lay down and once Silverrose was ready she grabbed the thorn to pull it out. "There, almost done. Keep licking your paw until I'm done chewing up these herbs. They'll sting for a moment but I'm mixing in something to soothe the pain. Don't worry, we'll be able to hear everything Cherrystar says to the clan from here."

Cenra - with Feather, Apple and Snow

Cenra nodded at the mention of the two part names, remembering the names of a warrior or two. "It doesn't sound too bad," she meowed at Snow's words. "If they weren't such a huge clan I would even consider joining them." Well, if she could get used to all their rules. "They don't seem to mind accepting outsiders."

Feather nodded at Snow's idea. "I would like that a lot. I find that I'm not very good in a fight and get hurt when I try to defend myself. But I'm really good at hunting because I'm persistent." She said with a purr.

Webwillow was right outside the camp when she heard Cherrystar. She padded into the camp and sat down near the bottom of the tree where the others were gathering.

Poppykit with Sakura
Poppykit sat and listened to Cherrystar talk. A whole new clan. That was exciting news. She blushed and began to bathe again when she felt Cherrystar's gaze upon her.

Turtlepool cleared her throat and stood up. "I think its a good idea to make another clan. We don't exactly have the room for all these cats to stay here long term." She then sat down a little embarrassed about how foward she had spoken to her leader in front of the whole clan.

Snowdapple and Coalkit OPEN
Snowdapple watched the leader in awe of what she had said. She couldn't believe there were other clans. Even though she and Ivysplash had come from far away they hadn't run into other clans.

Coalkit settled back down by Snowdapple as the queen lay back down. She snuggled into the side of her mother and fell asleep.

Wishkit and Gazekit with Weaselkit, Wolfkit, and Foxkit
Wishkit looked over at the strangers and then back at Cherrystar. She was silent and a little relieved that the other cats wouldn't be staying with them for long.

Gazekit looked over at Wolfkit. "Looks like we were right. They were clan cats." He said quietly. He then turned back to the leader and waited to see what else she would have to say.

Frostfeather OPEN
Frostfeather was in awe of the fact that so many cats had traveled such long distances and all because each of their clans had been destroyed.

Basilwhisker with Cherrystar, Icewhisper, Hollowsky, Silverpaw, Storm, and Brightpaw
Basilwhisker listened carefully to ehat was going on. He thought it was a good idea to start another clan.

Ivysplash OPEN
Ivysplash was not surprised by what he heard as he had been with the original patrol that found Silverrose and her family. He nodded his approval.

Weaselkit, Wolfkit and Foxkit - with Wishkit and Gazekit

Weaselkit almost let out a squeal of excitement when she heard the news. A new clan! She couldn't wait to finally become an apprentice.

Wolfkit nodded with a grin. "I still didn't expect them to actually start a clan of their own," he said.

Foxkit relaxed when he heard that the strangers were only staying for a while. He was curious about them forming a new clan, though.

Heronflight - with Turtlepool

Heronflight sighed in relief. So this wasn't permanent. Still, she couldn't help but chuckle a little. "So they'll really start their own clan."

Storm and Brightpaw

Brightpaw listened to Cherrystar's announcement, staring at her in disbelieve. Then he suddenly grinned. "Of course Storm and I will help build the new clan!" he exclaimed before stopping and looking around in embarrassment.

Storm laughed quietly at his friend's outburst but nodded in agreement.

Icewhisper - with Silverrose

Feather nodded elated to have someone to talk to more than every so often. "That would be exciting for you to have kits. And where are these dens? Mine is all the way on the other side of the clan territory so I could use a new one closer by." She started rambling a little in her excitement.

Webwillow looked around in astonishment as the leader said the new cats would be forming their own clan. She thought it was a crazy idea. But then she thought it was crazy that these cats all came from clans that were destroyed.

Poppykit laughed a little and padded forward to stand in front of where Cherrystar was on the tree. She dipped her head to the leader and then looked up her eyes shining brightly. She gave her chest fur a final couple licks and sat down.
