Thymeclan New members needed

Icewhisper - camp - with Cherrystar, Hollowsky and Silverrose

Icewhisper quickly followed Cherrystar. She took a quick glance at the group and then turned back to her leader. "I suppose they need a place to stay for now. We'll have to expand the apprentice's and warrior's den though if they're going to stay here for a while." She narrowed her eyes in thought. "Starting a clan of their own... If we can find a good territory for them that still wouldn't be enough. They'd still need a proper leader and a medicine cat. Well, if Phoenixclan was similar to Thymeclan." She looked up and turned to Silverrose. "I take it that you and your cats believe in StarClan?"

Weaselkit, Wolfkit and Foxkit - camp - with Wishkit

Weaselkit leaped forward as the ball came her way, set it down after she caught it and padded around it for a moment, eying the others. She started to hop instead as she heard Wishkit mention Cherrystar and nodded eagerly. "She must be one of the best mentors a 'paw could have! Oh I hope she'll teach one of us! Either me or Wishkit!" She looked over at her friend for a moment. "You look up to her too, right?" As she said this she swatted at the ball and passed it to Wolfkit.

Wolfkit looked over at the warriors who were still in camp but was also thinking of those who were outside now. "I don't know about one of us being leader one day but Cherrystar could probably work well with either of you." He glanced at Foxkit and then back at the warriors. "And Foxkit could either learn from Frostfeather or Nutshine." Then he grabbed the moss ball and tossed it over to Gazekit.

Foxkit nodded at Wolfkit's suggestions. "They'd be the least intimidating. If it's neither of them that's fine too as long as I don't get Ripplefur. I'd probably be too scared to even leave the apprentices' den if Cherrystar chose her." He didn't think he could handle training under her. While he could at least be sure that any praise he would get from Ripplefur would be genuine he also feared that if he messed something up, no matter how little, she would really let him have it.

Heronflight - camp - with Turtlepool

"Ah, wouldn't that be nice," Heronflight purred. "I certainly wouldn't mind joining a training session like that." She took another bite and nodded. "Thyme doesn't stop for anyone but as an elder you just notice it so much more. When I got my warrior name my only thoughts were of hunting and defending my clan from predators and hostile cats. The possibility of settling down and becoming an elder one day hasn't crossed my mind even once back then."

Silverpaw - training clearing - with Basilwhisker

Silverpaw kept hold of Basilwhisker's tail and, as he had only stopped his opponent from attacking but hadn't defeated him yet, used his front paws to strike at the warrior.

Adderheart - camp - open

Adderheart had grabbed a vole from the fresh-kill pile and sat down to eat. Right at that moment Cherrystar returned, followed by a group of what she thought were loners. She tried not to stare at them but she couldn't help glancing over to them every now and then as she ate.

Ripplefur - forest - open

Ripplefur buried a mouse she had caught and went looking for more prey. She caught the scent of a robin and quietly moved closer. The bird was busy picking some seeds and seemed to pay little to no attention to its surroundings. Ripplefur pounced and quickly bit into it. Then she hid it beside the mouse.

Darkclaw - border near meadow - with Swallowbreeze, Minty, Ivysplash and Nutshine

Darkclaw watched as Swallowbreeze stepped back and nodded at her words. "It's fine, I guess," he meowed, sounding more friendly this time. "You must have been living without a clan for quite a while, though. For how long have you two been traveling? Your clan must have lived pretty far from here." He looked over at Ivysplash and then at Nutshine. "That would probably be for the best," he agreed. "just so the clan is prepared. And the rest of us can escort those two." He glanced at Swallowbreeze and Minty. "You don't mind, do you? It's better if the clan knew beforehand."

Cenra - at border - with Feather

"Hm. I wouldn't know about that either," she meowed before she bit into the squirrel. "I find myself longing for some company from time to time but joining their clan seems a bit much." She glanced at Feather and continued. "From what I've seen they're pretty accepting of loners so it wouldn't be impossible. But their clan is really big. Too many cats for me," she chuckled.

Storm and Brightpaw - inside Thymeclan territory - open

Storm stopped for a moment to let his younger travelling companion catch up to him. He glanced back and watched as Brightpaw scented the air and looked more and more uneasy with every second. The eight moon old cat had warned Storm that they were crossing some kind of border but the loner didn't really see what the big deal was. "You're thinking a clan lives here, don't you?" he asked once Brightpaw was standing beside him. "Well, only one way to find out." The grey tom looked around for a while and then ventured deeper into what Brightpaw assumed to be the territory of a clan. He knew more or less what a clan was. Brightpaw had told him when they had first met. It had taken him a while to understand all of it and he didn't know all the rules and laws such cats might have. But if there really were other clans than Ridgeclan then there were no better cats to look after his friend. And what better way to meet them than seeking them out instead of just waiting for them at the border?

Brightpaw sighed to himself and followed Storm. He was surprised to learn that there was likely another clan but it didn't feel right to just cross their border like that. Ridgeclan wouldn't have taken kindly to any intruders unless they had a really good reason. And even then his clan would have expected them to just wait at the border until a patrol came along. He had tried to explain it to Storm but the loner had cheerfully dismissed his concerns, saying that it was probably different for other clans. Brightpaw was grateful for Storm who not only had immediately allowed him to tag along when they had met but had also promised to find him a new home. But sometimes he grew frustrated with the loner, like right now when the older tom disregarded anything he said. He didn't expect the cats here to be super hostile but they still wouldn't be too happy to find two strangers on their territory. Brightpaw began to walk faster so he could stick close to Storm. He had learned to trust the loner's instincts and if there was any danger here the older tom would be the first to notice.

Cherrystar - Camp - Hollowsky, Icewhisper, Silverrose, Ivysplash
Cherrystar nodded, listening to both Icewhisper and Silverrose. “If you’d be willing to take the job, then I suppose you could be leader. But, of course, Starclan would have to approve at the Moon Mushrooms.” Cherrystar opened her mouth to say more, but she stopped as Ivysplash entered camp. For a moment, she worried the patrol had been attacked. But she sighed with relief at his explanation. “Alright, thank you, Ivysplash. This is an interesting day, that’s for sure,” she chuckled.

Ebonyflame - Forest - Ophelia
Ebonyflame thought for a moment, trying to search her mind for the right words. “Well, we have a leader, Cherrystar, who leads the clan with the help of her deputy and medicine cat, Hollowsky and Icewhisper. Warriors and apprentices make sure everyone is protected and well-fed. Queens, kits, and elders are confined to the camp for their safety, although queens and elders occasionally take walks near camp.” She paused, feeling herself rambling on. Turning to the black she-cat, she continued, “Was that too much?”

Sakura - Camp - Poppykit
Sakura took a bite of squirrel as she looked the strangers over. “There sure are a lot of them,” she commented. Poppykit was right, there were a few that looked apprentice age. “I wonder where they came from.”

Swallowbreeze - Forest - Darkclaw, Nutshine, Minty
Swallowbreeze nodded. “We don’t mind. It’s just a relief to have found another clan.” At the tom’s question, she shook her fur out. “The days are all blurred together. It was a really long time, but Minty here helped me a lot. Actually, he’s probably the reason I continued and made it here,” she mewed, turning to look at her friend gratefully. Now that she had found Thymeclan, she wasn’t sure what Minty would do. She hoped he would stay. Turning back, she mewed, “Lead the way.”

Minty - Forest - Darkclaw, Nutshine, Minty
Minty stayed silent behind Swallowbreeze, grinning at her praise. It was true. He had hunted for the both of them and made sure she didn’t do anything stupid. He wanted to follow all the way through with his work and he would make his final decision about staying later. Dipping his head to the warriors, he followed after Swallowbreeze.

Icewhisper - with Cherrystar, Hollowsky and Silverrose

Icewhisper turned to Cherrystar and Hollowsky. "If we agree to help them with their clan they would need access to the Moon Mushrooms," she meowed quietly. "So we'll have to figure out how we go about it. We'd have to share that part of the forest with them or we'd keep it but allow Silverrose and whoever their medicine cat is going to be to go there."

Weaselkit, Wolfkit and Foxkit - with Wishkit and Gazekit

"Too bad Hollowsky already has an apprentice," Weaselkit purred. "It would have been cool if one of us got trained by the leader and the other one by the deputy. But yeah, Webwillow sounds fun too! I hope Cherrystar lets her become your mentor."

Wolfkit nodded, happy that Foxkit and Gazekit both agreed with what he had suggested for his brother. "Yeah! They'd be the best mentors for him! I hope he gets one of them."

Foxkit purred lightly and passed the ball to Wishkit. "Now I really want one of them as my mentor. I wish we already knew who we'll get. So far you're the only one who knows for sure, Gazekit," he meowed. "I mean, Icewhisper will still accept you as her apprentice, right?"

Heronflight - with Turtlepool

"I bet most of them just see us and think they still have long until they'll be elders too," Heronflight chuckled. "To them it's almost a different world entirely."

Silverpaw - with Basilwhisker

Silverpaw nodded and with a slight grin he stepped back to let Basilwhisker up. He purred a little at his mentor's words but stopped when the warrior turned. The apprentice had barely enough time to register that Basilwhisker was pouncing. It was already to late to dodge out of the way so his only option was to try and roll onto his back as the warrior landed on him. Silverpaw squirmed for a moment, trying to push Basilwhisker off of him, but gave up on that pretty soon. Instead he focused on putting his strength in his hind legs and "raked" them across his mentor's belly so that even without the use of claws it would be quite powerful.

Darkclaw - with Nutshine, Swallowbreeze and Minty

Darkclaw nodded at that, deciding not to inquire any further for now. He glanced at Nutshine and then turned to lead the way back. "Alright, just make sure to stay close and not wander off," he said. "Oh, and don't worry about meeting our clanmates. They'll probably stare but that's it." At least he hoped so. Ivysplash had informed the clan already so there was nothing to worry about. Unless the kits got curious about the many guests they were having today. As they got closer to camp he caught a glimpse of Ebonyflame and another cat and stopped for a second. Just how many cats were meeting the clan today? He turned to Swallowbreeze and Minty and meowed "Alright, here it is. Just follow us inside and pray that the kits are too busy to notice you." He didn't know how the kits would react if they saw so many strangers and hoped that they didn't just run up to the guests and bombard them with their questions. With a flick of his tail he quickly padded through the entrance.

Ivysplash with Darkclaw, Nutshine, Swallowbreeze, and Minty


Ivysplash had said what he had come to say and walked away after he was done. He dipped his head to the rest of the patrol as they walked in and sat down nesr them.

Wishkit and Gazekit with Weaselkit, Wolfkit, and Foxkit.


Wishkit nodded. "That would be cool but like you said he has an apprentice already. What about Wolfkit's mentor?" She pounced on the ball as it came to her. Then she passed it to Wolfkit.

Gazekit nodded along to the conversation not knowing what to add until Foxkit spoke up again. "Thats actually what we were just talking about. She wanted to know if I was sure about being a medicine cat." He said watching as the ball rolled over to Wolfkit

Turtlepool with Heronflight.

"It is a whole other world. From fighting and hunting to chatting and afternoon naps. Its a wonder anyone voluntarily becomes an elder. I would have lasted a few more moons but my hips started to give out on me." Turtlepool said turning to prod at her weak hips.

(I have issues with tight hips and they pop all the time and are super painful)

Basilwhisker with Silverpaw.

Basilwhisker snarled at Silverpaw pinning him to the ground as he rolled onto his back. But then let go and scooted off him when he let off a power kick to his underbelly. It knocked the breath out of him. He charged toward the apprentice roaring and tried to land a swipe on him.

Poppykit with Sakura.

Poppykit took a final bite of squirrel and flopped over on her side and started to clean her face. "Maybe they are loners like we were. But it looks like they journeyed a long way. They look a little ragged and worse for wear." She said between licks.

Cherrystar - Camp - Icewhisper, Hollowsky, Silverrose, Swallowbreeze
Cherrystar closed her eyes as she thought. “The simplest way would be to share that territory. Perhaps expand the territory in the other direction.” She turned her attention to the entrance as Darkclaw and Nutshine padded in, leading two other strangers. She flicked her tail and looked the two up and down. They were both weary, not unlike the others from Phoenixclan, but one did look to be on the careless and confident side. “Welcome, I am Cherrystar of Thymeclan. This is my deputy, Hollowsky, and my medicine cat, Icewhisper, and Silverrose,” she mewed to the two.

Ebonyflame - Forest/Camp - Ophelia
Ebonyflame nodded silently, looking up at Ophelia’s question. “As long as you like. I’ve never heard of a loner doing this, but I assume you could stay until your kits open their eyes and you think you can care for them all on your own. But it’s completely up to you.” She didn’t the pregnant she-cat to think she was being pressured to stay. She dipped her head to Darkclaw as he padded into camp, her eyes narrowing at the two strangers with him and Nutshine. “Um, seems as if you aren’t the only guest.” She tended herself as she led the way into camp, gasping at the sight in front of her. “Oh Starclan help us.”

Sakura - Camp - Poppykit
Sakura nodded. “I’d assume they were, but you’re right. They have come a long way,” she mewed, right as two more cats came to join them. And then another. “Oh dear. Hey Poppykit, you wanna come expand the warriors den with me? I think it might be needed.”

Swallowbreeze - Camp - Cherrystar, Icewhisper, Hollowsky, Silverrose, anyone else I might have missed
Swallowbreeze paused at the entrance, not taking her eyes off the brambles as Darkclaw spoke. Nodding as he finished, she followed him through. The camp looked so familiar. Of course, she had never been here, but the way everything was organized and how each cat acted toward each other, it was so similar the Hollowclan. She took a moment to look around before realizing the ginger she-cat was talking to her. Swallowbreeze dipped her head to the leader and padded to sit near the group. “I am Swallowbreeze and this is Minty. I have been journeying with Minty for a while, actually we’ve been following your group, Silverrose.” She turned to the lavender she-cat and dipped her head apologetically. “I’ve been looking for a place like my old clan, and I thought your group was doing the same.”

Minty - Camp - Swallowbreeze, Cherrystar, Hollowsky, Icewhisper, Silverrose, anyone else...
Minty just followed closely behind Swallowbreeze and sat down nearby her in the camp. He might have been confident when it was just the two of them, but this was a big step. It would be easier if Swallowbreeze just handled everything right now.

(Ahh, sorry this took so long. I was completely out of it yesterday.)

Cenra - at border - with Feather

"Too bad they're the only clan here," Cenra said before taking another bite. Then again maybe that was for the best. Another clan would mean another territory and that meant even more off-limits areas for loners like her. Not that she cared all that much but she also wouldn't want to make a real enemy of Thymeclan or a hypothetical second clan. "I see some other loners here from time to time but they're usually not easy to get along with."

(depending on where Apple and Snow have their den maybe Feather and Cenra could find them?)

Silverpaw - training clearing - with Basilwhisker

Silverpaw quickly rolled onto his belly and began to climb to his paws when Basilwhisker charged at him. He fell back down when the warrior swiped at him and grunted. Then he rolled over again and jumped to his paws this time, cursing himself for not having done so right away. He could try to run around Basilwhisker to either confuse him or wear him out but as fast as Silverpaw was he still had less stamina than a warrior. And he didn't want to be relying on his quick movements all the time, he also had to work on his offensive. With a snarl he reared up to try and bring Basilwhisker down with an upright lock.

(Throw him down with a belly rake or something xD Anyway, maybe those two can find Storm and Brightpaw later or the two strangers walk in on their training? I think Basilwhisker and Silverpaw are the only ones out in the territory right now, aside from Ripplefur.)

"Too bad they are the only ones. There was a really angry, pregnant cat I saw earlier. I was scared she was going to attack me." Feather said with a shiver. "But she went with the clan cat I was talkinb to over the border. To stay with them while she has her kits."

Webwillow lay near the prey pile and was dozing off. She awoke when she smelled multiple strangers enter camp. She opened her eyes to see 3 different sets of cats some Thymeclan cats and others strangers enter the camp. None seemed hostile though so she stayed where she was.

Cherrystar - Camp - Icewhisper, Silverrose, Swallowbreeze, Ophelia, Ebonyflame, Hollowsky, etc.
Cherrystar flicked her tail on the ground as Ebonyflame entered camp with yet another outsider. This one smelled familiar though. She narrowed her eyes and looked the she-cat up and down. “You’re that loner that attacked Ivysplash and Nutshine, aren’t you?” She stood in the spot, lifting her head. “Why did you bring her here, Ebonyflame?” She questioned, turning her blue gaze to the tortoiseshell warrior. There had to be a reason; Ebonyflame wouldn’t bring a stranger into camp for no reason. None of her warriors would.

Ebonyflame - Camp - Cherrystar, Ophelia, etc.
Ebonyflame just stood there for a moment, taking in the sights and smells of the cats in front of her. This was not an ordinary thing to see, and quite frankly, it startled the she-cat. At Cherrystar’s words, she turned to Ophelia with a startled and suspicious look. “This is Ophelia. She is expecting kits, and I gave her the option of staying under our protection. I had no knowledge of the fact that she attacked them. I’m sorry,” she mewed as her heart began to pound. Did she threaten her clan by bringing this stranger to camp? And who were theses other cats, sitting before Cherrystar, Icewhisper, and Hollowsky?

Sakura - Camp - Poppykit
Sakura followed Poppykit to the den, looking it over before she responded. It was a wide patch of brambles surrounding a couple of oak trees. She stepped inside and padded around nests to one of the oaks. “If we can push the brambles back so there’s space around these oaks, then we should have enough room for all of the cats if they stay,” she mewed, beginning to take strands of brambles and pushing against them to move them back toward an alder she could spit through the mess.

Swallowbreeze, Minty - Camp - The group of cats near the entrance
Swallowbreeze and Minty sat in silence. The gray and white she-cat held her head high, but her mind was crowded with confusion. Who is that other cat and why is Cherrystar hostile toward her? She’s expecting! Shouldn’t she be treated kindly if she’s a queen? The kits look to be treated ok, so what’s wrong with a queen?

Wishkit and Gazekit with Weaselkit,  Wolfkit,  and Foxkit
Wishkit shook her head at the other kits arguement. "Come on guys.  We are all going to be the best warriors." She said catching the ball. She faked throwing it a couple times before throwing it to Wolfkit.

Gazekit nodded to Foxkit after he said that training with warrior apprentices would be helpful to learn fighting techniques. He the jumped each time Wishkit pretended to throw the ball.

Basilwhisker with Silverpaw.
Basilwhisker got to his feet and sighed. "I'm getting tired. Do you want to go another round or call it done for today and hunt on the way back to camp." He asked stretching out each of his back legs.

Turtlepool with Heronflight.
Turtlepool turned and gasped when she saw all the strange cats that were entering camp. First the group of 6 with Cherrystar then 2 more with the rest of her patrol. Then another pregnant cat with Ebonyflame. "My goodness. How many guests are we going to have come to our clan today."

Silverrose with Icewhisper,  Hollowsky, Cherrystar, Swallowbreeze,  Minty, Ebonyflame and Ophelia.
Silverrose stood mute as yet another cat came into the camp. She held in a gasp when it was discovered that this loner had attacked some clan cats.

Poppykit with Sakura.
"Do you really think all of these cats are going to stay?" Poppykit asked pushing on the brambles. Some broke off and stuck to her fur. She paused and pulled it off and set it aside. She then kept pushing making a littke headway.

(I should be a little more active today but I got a late start))

Siverrose with Icewhisper and all the others
Silverrose nodded at Icewhisper's words. She then looked over at her family to make sure they were behaving. The other five cats were huddled up and watching as more cats filled the clearing.

Wishkit and Gazekit with Weaselkit,  Wolfkit,  and Foxkit.
Wishkit nodded happily when Weaselkit talked. She laughed at the others when they jumped as she had pretended to pass the ball. She then watched as Wolfkit passed the ball to Gazekit.

Gazekit watched as the ball rolled over to him. He reached out and stopped it with a small silver paw. He tossed it to Foxkit and sat down. "What's everyone's favorite prey?"

"Why do I feel like these aren't the only ones coming?" Turtlepool said unhappily. She started to count them. "Maybe Cherrystar will tell us something about them in a clan meeting."

Basilwhisker with Silverpaw.
Basilwhisker nodded and held back his relief at not running another fight. He started to pad out of the clearibg and scented the air. He smelled mouse and vole and took off after the mouse. He trotted back moments later with a large white mouse in his jaws. He started again toward camp and paused to scent the air again. "I smell strange cats. Stay close to me Silverpaw."

Weaselkit, Wolfkit and Foxkit - with Wishkit and Gazekit

Foxkit watched the ball closely and once it flew his way he was already prepared to catch it. He passed it to Weaselkit. At Gazekit's question he glanced at the fresh-kill pile for a second and then turned back to the others. "I like fish," he purred. "I don't mind other prey but fish is the best."

"Rabbit!" Weaselkit meowed immediately. "I can't wait to catch my own!" She took a step back as the ball rolled towards her and stopped it. Then she tossed it to Wishkit. "What about you guys?"

Wolfkit looked at Weaselkit and Foxkit as they named their favorite prey. Should he name one of those two things or was it better to come up with something different? He didn't like rabbit all that much because of how big they were and some of the fish were pretty large too. Smaller prey was so much better as it was way easier to finish. Not wanting to think about it forever and look weird in the process he just named the first thing that came to mind. "Mouse, I guess. Vole isn't bad either." He turned to Wishkit and Gazekit. "And you two?"

Heronflight - with Turtlepool

Heronflight nodded. "With so many visitors Cherrystar will have to tell the clan what's going on." She glanced over at the warriors den where Sakura and Poppykit were working on expanding it. "Good thing Snowdapple and Duskfire expanded the nursery," she sighed. "And Sakura and Poppykit couldn't have chosen a better day to work on the warrior's den." She looked back at the groups of visitors and narrowed her eyes in thought. "But whatever they are deciding, it must be very important if Cherrystar wants Hollowsky and Icewhisper to be present."

Silverpaw - with Basilwhisker

Silverpaw followed his mentor and scented the air for prey. When Basilwhisker followed one of those scents Silverpaw went after the other one. The vole was close by it he quickly pounced on it. He grabbed his vole and went back to where Basilwhisker was already waiting with a large mouse and dipped his head. Then he padded beside the warrior but stopped as Basilwhisker scented the air. "Understood," he meowed quietly, glancing around as he finally caught the scent of strange cats too.

Storm and Brightpaw

The two cats had slowed down even more and eventually stopped. Storm glanced at Brightpaw who was starting to get visibly nervous. He then scented the air and took a step in the direction where he assumed the cats would come from. For a moment he looked around and then moved to stand where he could easily be seen, not wanting those clancats to think he was hiding or otherwise being sneaky.

Brightpaw watched as Storm padded to a spot that was in plain view to anyone who happened to come this way and whimpered. "Storm, get back here, for Starclan's sake!" he hissed to the loner. Storm just turned to look at him and signalled for him to come closer. Brightpaw shook his head but padded up to his friend anyway, not wanting him to face the clancats alone.

Cenra - with Feather

"I see. That's pretty admirable, actually," Cenra said. She hadn't heard of that before, from what she had seen so far it was always borders this and borders that with those clancats. She stood to stretch herself a little when Feather buried what had remained of the squirrel. "It sounds a bit risky but if they're that dedicated to protect kits I can respect that."

Wishkit and Gazekit with Weaselkit,  Wolfkit,  and Foxkit.
Wishkit thought for a second missing the ball rolling past her. "I like rabbit best too. Its tender and juicy." She said before realizikg the ball had rolled past her. She scrambled to get it finally noticing that there was a large group of cats in the clearing. "Woah. Thats alot of cats" she said to the group.

Gazekit looked at the freshkill pile and thought about his answer. "I like most prey but I think squirrel or fish are my favorite. I don't really care for birds though they are too feathery." He rolled his eyes about his sister's comment on the group of cats though he noted there were more than when he had left Icewhisper. He said as much to the group.

"I'm sure they are just expanding the den because of all these cats. And surely they are deciding whether we can take all these cats in." Turtlepool said openly staring at the large groups of cats.

Basilwhisker with Silverpaw.
"Hello" Basilwhisker called out stepping in the direction the scents were coming from. "This is Thymeclan Territory and you are tresspassing." He growled as he came to face Storm. He noticed that it was a pair not unlike himself and Silverpaw. Though they looked as though they had been travelling awhile.

Apple and Snow were laying outside their den sharing tongues. Between licks the two were talking about how one day they would have kits together.

"I love you so much. And our kits will be beautiful like their mother." Apple purred. He stood and walked over to a mound of dirt where he had hidden a fish. He brought it over and dropped it in front of Snow. "Here you go, my love. Enjoy this meal." He said laying down ans talking a bite.

Snow purred and took a big bite of the fish. She thought about what her kits may look like and what she might name them. "I think we might have four kits. I would name them Night, Hawk, Rose, and Patch." She said thinking hard.

Apple looked up and fluffed out his fur as the two she-cats startled him. "Hello. What are you doing in this part of the forest? Are you here to attack us?" He said starting to get agitated.

Snow stood up too but she was calm and collected. "There's no intrusion. Feel free to come lay down with us." She said putting a tail on her mate's shoulders to calm him down. "Ignore my mate he's a little jumpy."

Wishkit stared at the group of cats silently. She was puffed up and shivering. "I don't think they're here to attack but I don't like that they are here." She said her voice shaking a little.

Gazekit meanwhile watched the other cats with interest. "All I know is that Cherrystar wanted to talk to Icewhisper and Hollowsky about the first set when I left them. I think the lavender she-cat said her name was Silverrose. Could there be other clans or is she like Poppykit was." He said his curiosity plain.

"Maybe thats what they mean to do? What if they help these new cats start their own clan. The way that Thymestar did all those moons ago"  Turtlepool sounded as insane as the idea sounded but she couldn't help but be curious about it.

"Wait." Basilwhisker snapped hoping to quiet both  the newcomers. "What do you know about clans and what do you mean Ridgeclan? There is only one clan and that is Thymeclan." Basilwhisker said incredulously. He wasn't going to believe for a second that there was another clan. There just couldn't be another one. "You should have waited at the border like your young companion said to. Now state your business or leave."

Weaselkit, Wolfkit and Foxkit - with Wishkit and Gazekit

Weaselkit kept staring at the group of cats, wondering what why they were here. She thought about walking over to them to listen in on their conversation or to outright ask them but decided against it. Cherrystar, Hollowsky and Icewhisper were talking to them and she couldn't just intrude on something that important. Still, she hoped that they would find out soon.

Wolfkit watched the cats as he listened to Gazekit. "Sounds like a clanname," he said about Silverrose. "If the others have names like that too then maybe they really are from another clan. But I thought Thymeclan was the only one." He looked at them silently for a moment, wondering if only Silverrose had a clanname or if the others had those too. "But if they are from another clan I wonder what they were like. Probably very similar to us but still different in a way."

Foxkit glanced at Wishkit and padded over to her. "They don't seem to be bad," he meowed, sounding curious but also a little uneasy. He hoped they would leave soon, though, not wanting to deal with so many strangers. "If they were then Cherrystar would have sent them away. But I hope we don't have to talk to them," he added quietly. "It's weird, having so many guests."

Heronflight - with Turtlepool

Heronflight wanted to tell her friend off for voicing such an insane idea but found that she couldn't really counter her either. "It's not impossible," she said after a while, sounding unsure but curious. "Until now I thought we were the only clan but why shouldn't there be others like us? But if they are from a clan I wonder where their ancestors are." She glanced at Icewhisper as she said this. "Neither Basilfrost nor Icewhisper had ever said anything about meeting cats from other places when they talked with Starclan." If those guests were from a clan, had they left their ancestors behind or could Starclan cats journey too? Did those strangers even believe in Starclan or did they have something else? "That is, of course, if they really are trying to set up their own clan."

Silverpaw, Storm and Brightpaw - with Basilwhisker

Silverpaw glanced back and forth between the two intruders, not sure what to make of them. He had to agree with Basilwhisker, it was hard to believe what Storm was saying. Another clan? Why hadn't anyone heard about them? But he also couldn't help noticing that Brightpaw was a weird name for a loner. Were they telling the truth or was he someone like Poppykit, someone who just happened to have a clanname?

Storm dipped his head. "I'm sorry. I thought it would be faster to look for someone than waiting for them." When he looked up again his gaze hardened for a second. "You'd better not be accusing us of lying, though." He stopped when Brightpaw nudged him and sighed. "Right, sorry. It's the truth, though. Brightpaw can tell you more about his former clan but the important thing is that for a little over a moon we've been looking for a new place for him." He glanced at his friend for a second. "We didn't know there was another clan so we tried finding a group of loners first. And when we got here Brightpaw assumed there was a clan here. We're not expecting you to let him stay, especially after we have invaded your territory, but we were hoping you could tell us about any other groups you know."

When the clancat said that there was no clan but Thymeclan Brightpaw sighed with disappointment. "Looks like we're done here, Storm," he said, unable to meet anyone's eye. He didn't even feel angry when the warrior had reacted with disbelief to Storm mentioning Riftclan, just disappointed that those cats knew of no other clans. "They can't point us to another clan."
"Huh? Why not? Maybe they know of some nearby clans. That's what we wanted to ask them, right?"
Brightpaw shook his head. "I know but he just said that there is only one clan. If there really are more clans around here they don't know about them. So I guess they really are the only clan that lives in these woods."

Storm looked at him for a moment, trying to catch up with his thinking. Then he lowered his head and sighed. "You're right. I was just hoping we could finally find something for you after travelling for so long." He glanced at the two clancats and then back at Brightpaw. "I'm sorry for insisting that we just go up and meet them. I really messed this one up, didn't I."
