New World Cross Academy
You looked out the window wistfully as trees and foliage passed you by. You had been in this smelly bus for hours now and there was no sign of stopping anytime soon. You found yourself wondering how you even got roped into going to some private academy so far away from your family, any school would've done. The bus suddenly screeched to a stop, making you snap out of your thoughts as you looked up front to see a dead end. A large gate sat at least ten feet away from you, encircling a thick, wooded area and you immediately felt the hair on the back of your neck stand on end.
"Last stop, New World Cross Academy!" The bus driver called, only making you more nervous. You hesitantly collected your belongings as you shuffled off the bus. As you stepped off, the doors closed behind you and the bus driver took off as if the scene had him on edge too. You slowly looked to the gate, knowing it was far too late to turn back now...
Welcome to New World Cross Academy! Here students are trained in the taboo art of Demon Summoning! Descendants from only rare and specific families are called to this private school to train to be the next Grand Summoner, capable of taming the most dangerous of demons. Of course, occasionally exceptionally talented people outside the families may be invited given that they show promise. There are many dangers to summoning creatures from another realm, so in order to keep staff and students safe all must follow these school rules:
1.) Never summon alone. Demons aren't guaranteed to accept your terms and agreements and may lash out. It's always important to have one or more people around to fend off the demon if the contract fails.
2.) Never summon more than one demon at a time. While you may have up to seven demons contracted at a time, having more than one present could result in a mutiny and breach of contract.
3.) Do not attempt to summon levels above you're approved skill. This can cause a failed attempt at a contract and a demon may lash out.
4.) Absolutely no romantic relations with your demon. This is nothing more than business, keep it professional.
5.) Absolutely no entry into Hell unless you plan to stay there. Your time will come, there's no need to rush.
6.) Take your demons seriously, don't use them for your own petty gain.
7.) Demons are permitted to have up to three on-going contracts with different students as long as they can properly divide up their time.
If a student is caught breaking any of the rules whether intentional or accidental it will result in immediate suspension. Three re-occurrences of breaking rules will ultimately result in expulsion.

Rules
No worries, there aren't any crazy rules or anything for this RP! Just going over the few I have as well as some notes I'd like to make.
1.) No God modding. This makes is less fun for others!
2.) If you don't like someone, please at least be civilized. We're all here to have fun!
3.) Right now there is no limit on characters but that may change as more people join. For now, make as many as you'd like!
4.) Drama, romance and everything of the like are absolutely encouraged! Please just be sure to follow the forums guidelines and don't take it too far.
I'm absolutely open to any plot ideas anyone might have! Feel free to speak up!
Keep in mind, the school rules were made to be broken. Your character won't actually be expelled unless you'd like them to be!

The New World Cross Academy loomed in the early light of the morning, the shadows casting an almost eerie feel as fog rolled in. In the second year dorms, a figure was tucked away in her bed, cuddled under the warm blankets as she dreamed of much happier places. The girl stirred as the floor boards creaked across the room, making her whimper half consciously. "Come on short stack... You done sleeping yet?" A gruff voice asked as she was shaken. The teen hesitantly opened her eyes, taking a minute to focus before she saw her demon companion crouched at the front of her bed. Hikari stifled a yawn as she sat up, stretching her arms over her head.
"Morning Hudson!" She greeted cheerfully, only receiving a grumble in response from him. Slipping from her bed, she retrieved her clothes, getting dressed out of her night gown as she put on a cute black and white dress. She made her way over to her vanity, grabbing her brush as she smoothed out the kinks out of her violet locks. "What do we have planned today? Anything important?" She questioned only to have the demon scoff in response. She gave him a curious look through the mirror as the demon gave a dismissive shrug in response.
"It's not my job to keep track of what you've got going on." He insisted rather grumpily. Hikari finished putting the top part of her hair up, letting the rest flow freely as she smoothed out her dress. "Right. How about we start at the cafeteria and pick dad up something? I think he probably worked through the night again." She offered up, only receiving another shrug from the demon. She collected her bag, making sure her books were in there before she ushered Hudson out into the hall and lead the way.
After a brisk walk across the school they ended up in the cafeteria, seeing that only a few students were there eating. Making her way up to the counter she offered a smile to a woman working there. "Good morning! Can I get two orders of fried eggs and toast?" The girl fished through her bag, pulling out a bit of cash as she offered it to the cashier. "Oh! A coffee too! Maybe a couple shots of espresso?" The woman chuckled as she took the cash and began dishing her up.
"Sounds like Mr. Bishop had another long night, huh?" She questioned, receiving a bit of a flustered look from Hikari. She gave a small nod in response, a bit embarrassed that her dad was making a name for himself like that. Did they know he was blowing off his classes too? At this rate, she couldn't imagine the fourth years graduating. "Here you go kiddo." She took the trays as they were handed out, giving a small 'thank you' as she headed back out. The girl hesitated before she looked to her demon who seemed to be staring out the window almost wistfully.
"Hudson?" She asked, the demon snapping back around to look at her. Immediately he noted the drop in her attitude and found himself frustrated. Generally it took a bit to make her lose her happy go lucky attitude. "What should we do about dad? I think he's blown off his class for a full two weeks now... Should I say something?" The demon scoffed in response. "Yeah, because that would go over well. Can you imagine the death glare you'd get?" He could see she was still concerned and in response sighed. "Give me that..." He mumbled as he took the tray and coffee. "I'll see if I can reason with him. You stay here..." He instructed, watching as her eyes lit up.
"Thanks! You're the best!" She chirped, making him give another sigh. She plopped down into a nearby window sill, opening up one of her textbooks as she did some studying as Hudson began making his way down to Apollo's study. Just what exactly was he getting himself into? It was a short walk, literally right around the corner from where the cafeteria was. He gave a few firm knocks before he opened the door. "Hey, Apollo..." He called as he peered his head in, only to see the summoner passed out at his desk. The demon cursed under his breath, knowing he wouldn't take kindly to being woken up. He moved the paperwork to the side as he slammed the tray down, making Apollo jolt awake. "Rise and shine boss! You're gonna miss another class!" Hudson called obnoxiously, making the older male glare daggers at him.
"Last time I checked it wasn't your job to wake me up..." Apollo grumbled as he took his coffee, taking a sip as he rubbed his pounding head. Hudson could see his eye was bloodshot, making it apparent that he had stayed up all night like Hikari had predicted; as if falling asleep at his desk wasn't obvious enough. Hudson gave a shrug as he looked over the paperwork. "Hikari wanted to come wake you up but we both know what would've happened then. You gotta treat that kid nicer, she's just looking out for you." Hudson insisted as the other male downed his coffee. "I don't need a demon telling me how to raise a child. If that's all you came in for then you're dismissed." Apollo snapped, acting cold as per usual. Hudson didn't respond, simply leaving the way he had come as Apollo began to organize his work. Closing the door behind him, Hudson gave a frustrated sigh as his tail lashed angrily back and forth. It was amazing how Hikari was somehow related to that, the man didn't have a kind bone in his body.
As he returned to Hikari, the girl looked up hopefully just to receive a disheartened look from him. "It didn't go well I guess? Sorry about that..." She was quick to bury her head back in her studies, determined to make her dad happy one way or another. If she became the next Grand Summoner she knew he'd finally be proud, hopefully then he wouldn't have to work so hard. The girl devised a plan silently as her demon companion plopped onto the floor next to her.

this looks v interesting but i have very sporadic activity bc of classes and work so i wouldn't be able to be on more than a few times a week probably :/ would i still be okay to join?

Ivy was already up when the sun was coming up. She had jus hopped out of the shower atthe first light. She had her blonde hair in a bun on top of her head as she walked over to her closet and pulled out a small black skirt and a tight fitting white blouse. She was humming to herself as she continued to get dressed. She tilted her head staring at herself in the mirror, at her bright green eyes that she loved and her blonde hair that she was thinking of changing to a dark brown with blonde highlights.
Shaking her head she shook the thought out of her head and dried her hair and pt curls in it. She grinned looking at herself in the mirror and put on some lipstick and a tiny bit of makeup before she got up with a kiss to herself and looked around for her bag before saying, "Asher?" She tilted her head listening to see her contracted demon would show up or if he found a female to prey on, She felt the most conected to the lustful demon, who like herself doesn't stop at anything to get what he wanted.

((Oh yeah absolutely! We're all kinda on randomly so that should be just fine. c: ))
Asher was down by the cafeteria, bugging anyone that would give him the time of day. He was very needy and given that he never needed sleep, he was always looking for someone to entertain him when Ivy was sleeping. The demon was currently chatting up a first year without a demon, doing his best to convince them to break some of the rules. "C'mon! You're really gonna let some rules stop you? Think of the excitement of being bound to a demon! At any point I could turn on you and eat you up~!" The demons tail flicked excitedly as he watched the first year squirm under his gaze. He knew most of the students were smart enough not to fall for his tricks but first years were always the most naive. He was hungry, not having had a soul for almost a hundred years. The student spluttered for a response when the demon felt a sudden tug at his own soul, reminding him he already had a meal lined up.
"We'll have to talk business some other time, duty calls!" And with that happily headed back to his humans dorm room. The demon gave a few taps on the door before he opened it to see his summoner up and ready to tackle the day. "You're awake! Finally, I get so lonely when you go to sleep." He whined pitifully. The demon admired her appearance, appreciating how cute she looked. "Aw, did you get all dolled up just for me? You're so cute, I could just eat you up~." The demon purred as he wrapped his arms around the smaller girl, resting his chin on her shoulder. "We should ditch school and find something fun to do! I could teach you more than any of the teachers here." The demon offered as he playfully toyed with a lock of her hair. |

Ivy rolled her eyes when he knocked on the door and came into the room. "You know you don't have to knock on the door silly." she told him shaking her head laughing softly. She grinned when he asked if she had dressed up for him. "Maybe... Or Maybe im just going to find someone new." She threatened playfully while patting his head as he wraped himself around her. She leaned her head to the side before giving the demon a kiss on his cheek. "YOur the only one for me. YOu take up most of my time anyway you needy baby." she grinned at him before she got out of his grasp and grabbed her bag.
"But we have to go to my first class. Maybe after First class we may be able to." She told him while swatting at his hand when he started messing with her hair. "Hey now... don't touch... just look." She told him pushing her bottom lip out into a pout and went to her mirror to fix her hair that he messed with. "And i know you could possibly teach me more... But i don't want to get yelled at again by my first teacher... for the fifth time this month..." She told him. "Its only the sixth day." She then walked out of the room while saying, "And if you be good..... ill let you have some poor unsuspecting soul...." She send a wicked grin back to him as she headed towards the cafeteria.

The demon scoffed as she scolded him. "I know that, I just wanted to make sure you weren't changing or anything. You really gonna get on me for having manners?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. As she threatened to find someone else he whined pitifully. "You wouldn't do that to me, would you? After everything we've been through?" There was a teasing hint to his voice, obviously just playing along with her. The demon's tail flicked excitedly as she kissed his cheek, flushing slightly as he nestled into the crook of her neck. He returned the affection with a chaste kiss to the side of her neck before he released her. "Hey, you knew what you were getting into when you summoned a Demon of Lust. You can't act all innocent now."
The demon was content playing with her hair, admiring the golden locks when his hand was suddenly swatted away. "Oh come on, you can't tease me like that! Your hair is too tempting, I could play with it all day if you'd let me." He leaned against the wall as she fixed her hair, eyes narrowed in amusement. "Your teachers wouldn't be a problem anymore if you just let me eat them. Believe me, I know how to make people disappear." There was a dark undertone to his voice, suggesting that he was partially serious. He pushed off the wall, following her out. He felt his heart leap in his chest as he saw her sly smile. He loved how innocent and unsuspecting she seemed, just to have a dark side; honestly he couldn't ask for a better summoner. He gave a simple chuckle as he fell in step next to her, arms resting behind his head as he looked forward to what the day had in store for them today. |

Ivy rolled her eyes when he started to complain slightly about getting after him about having manners. "You havinh Manners? Where did they come from?" She asked sticking out her tonuge at him before she turned to walk backwards. "And I like most of my teachers be it they dont know how to teach but outside the classroom they are fun." She looked around them as they walked she smiled at the people who said hello and good morning. Sighing Ivy turned back around to face the front and looked down at the ground. "I wonder how Mr. Apollo has been..." She murmered out loud. That was one of the main people ivys had her eyes set on besides Asher.
((Im sorry its short typing on a phone sucks but I wanted to get up a reply before I forgot ))

As his human teased him he sneered, showing off sharp canines. "You're so funny!" He stated dryly as he eyed her tongue. "I'd keep that in your mouth, otherwise I'll take it as an invitation~." He purred lowly, returning the gesture as he gave her a playful wink. He rolled his eyes as she insisted she liked the teachers, he could never understand why. As Apollo's name rolled of her tongue, the demon became a bit stiff. He knew of the man, all the demons did, he definitely wasn't someone to mess around with. Asher suddenly put his hands on her shoulders, leaning close to her ear so no one else could hear. "If I were you, I'd keep your distance from him. Do you have any idea what that man-"
"Ivy, if you're demon can't control himself I'll send him back to Hell." A low voice barked from behind them. Turning around, Asher was surprised to see the said male standing there, already looking annoyed. The demon chuckled as he pulled away, feigning a smile in response. "Sorry Mr. Bishop, I'll keep my hands to myself, promise~." The demon chirped as the teacher narrowed his eyes at him. Apollo gave a sigh as he walked past him. "I'd watch what rumors you spread, demon. You'll land yourself in a compromising position." He had casually stated, Asher catching the threatening undertone. He wasn't stupid, he knew the history behind the family and knew better than to push his luck. He shut his mouth, watching as Apollo strode off as if nothing had happened.
Apollo found himself more annoyed as he made his way to the cafeteria to grab another cup of coffee. While his legacy wasn't exactly a secret, he didn't care for the students talking about it; god knows they'd get the same bright ideas. He adjusted his grip on the books under his arms as he made a mental note to watch Ivy and Asher closer, the duo seemed like trouble... |

Ivys eyes widened when she heard his playful threat and grinned wickedly at him. "Well... Its here but only if your a good boy." She told him before she perked up when Asher was going to tell her something about Apollo. She jumped in fright when she hward the somewhat harsh tone of the said man before she pouted slightly. "Yes sir...." The word sir rolled off her tongue. She peeked at Asher when he became stiff and narrowed her eyes when Apollo said he would send him back to hell.
Smiling, ivy nodded. "Ill keep him in line sont worry Sir. He wont bother anyone." She promised while poking Asher in the side as Apollo walked away while whispering, "your finishing that sentence later." Before she followed behind Apollo with a slight skip to her step into the cafeteria.

Asher noted how the girl was on edge around him too. All things considered, he was kinda a scary guy, Asher was sure he had never seen the man actually smile. The demon grunted as the summoner poked him in the side, giving her a pointed look that suggested he would've retaliated if the teacher wasn't there. Apollo didn't respond, simply giving a low hum as they entered the cafeteria. The teacher bought himself another coffee before finding a seat at an empty table, opening up his book as he reviewed his material for class that day.
Asher gave a sigh, having a hard time being around the grumpy teacher. He couldn't get away with anything while he was around. "Good morning Ivy!" A chipper voice made the demon curiously turn around to see the head masters daughter heading towards them with her demon in tow behind her. Asher's tail lashed as he eyed the demon, it was pretty common knowledge that demons generally didn't like each other, especially when souls were on the line. Hikari stopped just in front of them, looking excited as per usual. She did her best to be friends with all the students there, quite the opposite of her dads stand offish personality. The demons glowered at each other, Hikari absolutely oblivious to the hostility. Hudson furrowed his brow as Asher stood there smugly, he would've liked to wipe the smug look off his face but knew he didn't stand a chance against a level three demon. Instead he crossed his arms and looked pointedly away making Asher chuckle in response. "Did you hear my dad was talking about moving a couple new students into his class? I guess he only has a few fourth years and is looking to fill up his class more." The girl chirped as she adjusted her hold on her book. |

Ivy grinned and stuck her tongue out again before she turned to see Hikari. She plastered a fake smile on her face seeing the happy go lucky female coming towards them. Ivy wqasn't a big fan of her as she was normally in the way of Ivy getting whatever she wanted even though she was in a lower class than she was. "Good Morning Hikari." She said with a nod before glancing over at Asher and then glanced at Hudson and rolled her eyes before poking asher in the side. "Behave." she said under her breath, "Or no soul for you today." she whispered even lower so hudson and Hikari would not hear.
"Really... I thought he had a full class... I wonder if thats what made him be in a bad mood today then..." She said thoughtfully. "Me and ASher just passed by him walking in here and he seemed in a bad mood." She peeked over at the said male who was sitting down looking at his book. HEr eyes were filled with concern and curiosity..

Asher was busy glowering at his fellow demon when he felt the sharp poke to his side, drawing his glance to his summoner in confusion. He scoffed as she threated to skip his soul for the day, not that he couldn't survive without, he had managed hundreds of years without a decent one but now that he was getting a steady supply, he wasn't ready to give that up. So the demon adjusted, plastering a fake smile to match his human counter part as she pretended to be friendly with the head masters kid.
Hikari was oblivious to the fact that she wasn't liked, never being able to take hints very well. She shifted as she smoothed out her dress a bit nervously. "Well he did but uh..." The second year trailed off as she looked to her dad as he sipped at his second cup of coffee. The girl furrowed her brow as she sighed. "A lot of the forth years dropped out seeing as he was skipping his classes." It was hard to admit, feeling a bit embarrassed by her dad's careless nature. "He's been so wrapped up in his studies it's like he just doesn't care about his classes... Not like much can be done, he is the headmaster..." The girl gave a sigh, obviously exhausted already when it came to parenting her parent. As his bad mood was mentioned, Hikari felt her cheeks going warm as she awkwardly rubbed the back of her neck. "O-Oh, no I don't think that's it... He tried sleeping in again and we woke him up for class. He's probably mad about that." She admitted as her demon gave a huff beside her. The girl looked over to see her dad glance over, making her stiffen up. She quickly turned to Ivy as she added under her breath. "Don't mention I told you! I'm not really even supposed to know." She insisted before plastering a smile on her features and waving to the older male who looked unamused.
