Ok!)
Karma -- cafeteria
Karma would be lying if he said he'd gotten used to their esteemed teacher not coming in for class. As a fourth year, he probably didn't need as much guidance, but they really didn't get much at all these days. And classes had just started recently. But despite this had had managed to drag himself out of bed this morning and made his way to the cafeteria. On the way he'd run into three people, found a twenty dollar bill on the ground, and had a door opened into his face. All in all, it had been a good morning. Well, a good morning for him at least. No broken bones or open wounds was a good sign for the rest of the day.
He made his way breezily into the cafeteria and went up to order something to eat, eyeing everyone that had already made their way in. Many of them had their demons at their sides, and he shook his head. If he did that, he'd end up with something even worse going wrong. Not that he really minded, Karma wasn't too set on that sort of thing. Even if he could feel the ever present tug on his soul. With a coffee in hand, he turned to see who was around to socialize with.
Alice -- cafeteria
Not too long after Karma had made his way in, Alice burst into the area as well. She had a lot of energy already, being the type that didn't even need a caffeine shot so early in the day. She shoved past Karma, resulting in his coffee splashing onto his fingers. The male student just looked a bit resigned to the fact, like he was used to it, and went to get some napkins. Since Alice wasn't focused on her surroundings, she hadn't even noticed the small incident and went straight to get something for herself. She didn't usually eat in the mornings, but had decided to get something light and tide herself over until lunch.

Lyric Smith Lyric was up early, as she usually was. She was certainly a morning person and enjoyed the quiet hours at the start of the day. She could take her time to get ready and she also used her extra time to do a short session of yoga to start her day. The third year brushed out her blond hair, the wavy locks bouncing around her shoulders as she decided to leave it down for the day. She then dressed herself in dark jeans and a white crop top, finishing some light make-up. Once she was presentable she began to gather her things for the day's classes. "Cronus! Come. Time to get some breakfast." She called through her room to her contracted demon, slipping on her shoes and heading out the door. Well, at least she would get some breakfast. Her demon would be feeding on her soul rather than eggs, sausage, or toast. Upon entering the cafeteria she immediately fell into line behind other students, ordering her usual breakfast of avocado toast once it was her turn. As she turned to find a seat she witnessed the incident of Karma's coffee splashing out onto his fingers and couldn't hide the snort of laughter at the misfortune. Or rather she didn't even try to stifle it, as she didn't really care if he'd heard.
James Henry James was sleepy-eyed and yawning, the curls atop his head disheveled as if he'd just rolled out of bed. And he did only wake up a short while ago. It didn't take him long to get ready in the morning so he often slept in as long as he could. He walked into the cafeteria lightly rubbing at his dark brown eyes as he took his place in line. "Mornin'. Can I have sausage and toast, please." He asked with a friendly smile. He didn't like the taste of eggs so he never ordered them. After getting his order the second year turned, looking around for somebody to sit with.
Gwendolen Foster It seemed Gwendolen was always full of energy and today was no different as she bounded cheerily into the cafeteria. She didn't like eating too much in the morning and often skipped breakfast, but she liked to attend the cafeteria's breakfast time to mingle with the other students. Finding an empty seat fairly quickly, as it seemed most of the students were in line and yet to grab a chair, she pulled one of her textbooks out of her bag. She hadn't attempted to summon a demon yet, honestly a little scared. Would the demon she summons accept her contract? Would it dislike her? Would it be aggressive? She certainly wanted her first contract to be with a demon she could get along with. Plus it seemed everyone already had their contracts set up and she was feeling left out, so she began studying through her books to prepare herself. She would also have to ask Jax, one of the first year teachers, for some help.

renaissance ((I started before your response, I'll edit it to add Cronus.))
Jax was roused by a distant sound, drawing him out of a deep sleep. He sleepily blinked open his eyes, glancing lazily at the bedside table as his alarm clock blared at him. He did a double take at the time, sitting upright as he could almost hear Apollo's stern voice scolding him for sleeping in so late. He groaned as he rubbed his pounding head, slipping out of his bed as he collected his clothes off the ground and got dressed for the day. He made his way to the bathroom, putting his hair up into it's usual messy ponytail before he gave a dismissive shrug; he definitely wasn't going to get any compliments for the chaotic look but he wasn't trying particularly hard to impress anyone. He grabbed a stack of crumpled tests from a small desk in the room, grabbing a pen before he dipped out.
The teacher hummed to himself as he made his way to the cafeteria, doing his best to try and score the papers as he walked. He paused at the top of the stairs, looking down them wistfully. It was maybe ten steps in total, not a big deal but somehow always managed to make him trip over his own feet. He took a deep breath, mentally preparing himself not to fall over. After a couple of tense seconds he made his way down, pleasantly surprised as the universe didn't seem against him today; that is until he hit the last two steps. He missed the first one, stumbling over himself as he fell face first into the tiled floor, cracking his nose as blood almost immediately started to gush from it. "God D-" He stopped himself as a couple of First Years past him, forcing a smile as he held his bloody nose. He quickly collected his strewn papers and made a b-line for the cafeteria.
Apollo was busy looking through his lesson for the day when he heard the signature loud squeaking of cheap shoes on the tiled floor. "Good Morning Mr. Knox." He greeted dismissively as Jax tossed the paper onto the table. "Oh hey, you finally decided to grace us with your presence, huh?" Jax teased, earning a cold look from Apollo. The older male closed his book as he eyed the bloody nose. "How many times do you plan to bleed all over my school? Honestly, you should start carrying a bucket and mop where ever you go." Apollo shot back, earning a weak chuckle from the other teacher. Jax waved off the comeback and made his way to the front of the cafeteria, accidently bumping into Karma as he passed. "Ah, sorry about that!" He offered an apologetic smile as he grabbed a few napkins and cleaned himself up.
Aries was next to enter the cafeteria, dropping her bag off at the table Apollo was seated at. The male didn't offer her any sort of greeting, his head lowered as he massaged his temples as if he was stressed. She offered him a simple pat on the shoulder as she made her way to get herself some food. Getting in line after Alice, she offered the student a rare smile. "Good morning Alice." She greeted softly as she grabbed herself some toast and tea. The female looked across the way to see Jax dealing with a bloody nose. "Seems like it's already been an eventful morning, huh? I was sure Apollo would be too wrapped up in his studies to teach his class today." There was a hint of disapproval in her voice, as much as she didn't like it, he was the Headmaster, there wasn't much anyone could do about it.
Cronus was lounging on the floor as per usual, doing his best to ignore his growling stomach. He lazily watched his summoner as she got ready for the day, slipping into her usual routine. He found it amusing how most humans liked doing the same things over and over again; he couldn't imagine, it seemed so dull to him. Before he knew it he was being called to breakfast, putting him in a better mood already. "Finally, I thought you'd never be ready. Couldn't you hear my stomach growling?" He complained as he trailed after her. While he didn't need to eat all the time, he found it was an entertaining pass time when he wasn't harassing humans. Upon entering the cafeteria, he could see most of the students seemed to be there already. He glanced around, catching sight of the Headmaster seated at a table alone. "Wow, look at that. I guess he decided to be a productive part of society today." The demon chuckled as he fell into line behind Lyric. He was disappointed as she opted out of getting him anything to munch on. "Really? You're just gonna let your loyal summon starve to death? How cruel..." He drawled pitifully, just barely catching what she was laughing at.

Mornings for the head of the medical wing- well, not exactly a whole wing, more like a 'sector'- always started early. They began with fighting his way out of bed and promising to return with a delicious breakfast, which distracts Hearts- if present- from whatever he's doing with an unnecessary amount of alarm. The literal actual demons don't trust Dian to be capable of making edible human-ish food. He's never even poisoned them on purpose! The noodle incident doesn't count...Or the one with the pies because how was he supposed to know- Ahem. Regardless, Hearts would spend an hour primping and preening- if he hasn't already- before finally fluffing off to pester the cooks into allowing him to make his own breakfast. They've since become accustomed to the routine and don't actually impede his work in any way; the Queen of Hearts is simply fond of heckling them. Dian Cecht goes through his own version of getting ready, and Rasasvada claims his bed to smother himself in blankets and pillows until the smell of food can rouse him.
Refreshed after a shower and change of clothes, the doctor would then tie back the curtains on all three of his scenically placed windows. Though Rasasvada would growl like the unholy offspring of a monster truck and tiger as a result, he doesn't otherwise protest because he knows that he's at fault for Dian's bedroom looking like a jungle, what with all the new flora he's been steadily hoarding. There is a greenhouse that has recently been fixed up, but the demon prefers to lounge around with pollen everywhere, apparently. Typically Ras perks up whenever he's tempted with breakfast and leaves Dian to visit his office unmolested until it's within reach. Dian Cecht works tirelessly every day. If it isn't to keep the students and faculty happy and healthy- he really does want them to be happy too!- he's working on his immeasurable number of projects. Consuming all of the research available to him, and occasionally sending his demons on missions outside school grounds to procure a sample or information that isn't readily accessible to him. He really loves his job~ It's the perfect combination of everything he wants and the school gives him a lot more freedom and resources than he would have on his own. They've even taught him to summon the demons that are so important to him, as he'd never known he'd had the genes for it.
Dian can't help feeling a little giddy whenever he enters his office- his office! His professors said he'd never get one!- and spins a bit in his chair before coming to a stop at one of his desks. There are three in total, each laden with a different collection of projects in a vague filing system. The desks each have a clear space amidst the chaos which varies in intensity and medium. Likewise the floor-to-ceiling bookshelves are neatly organized but differ in the degree- some by color, others by letter, and still more by size or content. Even with the odd knick-knack, souvenir, or unfamiliar jarred substance, the entire space gives off the impression of leashed madness. The colors are jarring as well, and none of his desks match in shape as he'd simply crammed every design and decoration that caught his eye into one place. It's like his own slice of heaven. If he goes, he hopes it looks like this. Except maybe with varying flavors of mochizuki ice cream everyday...and of course a new experiment to try~
He's flicking through notes from his latest project, the notable differentiation between demonic blood at 'rest' and when provoked, when Hearts swings open the door with a flourish. "You are cordially invited to tea." Every meal is 'tea' with him. It was a bit confusing at first. "And do shut up the cockatiel in the medical room before we take the pleasure upon ourselves."
Dian Cecht really loves his job, but sometimes it's hard to balance it with his passion. "Ah...would that happen to be the injured student I received yesterday..?"
"Yes, that is what we said." The Queen drawls, and the doctor hops out of his chair with a little distressed 'eep'. "You guys go ahead and eat! I'll go see to him and- wait he needs food too! Could you-"
"No." The door is abruptly closed in his face. Not quite slammed, at least. Dian moves to hurry after him, Hearts already in the lead despite his shorter steps. He's carried more by his self-assured grace than anything else; Dian has to jog to catch up. "Okay! I'll have Ras ask someone to bring something, I'll be back!" Hearts frowns after him. "You will be duly punished if your meal is allowed to cool overmuch." A hand is lifted in acknowledgment. He scoffs at the blatant display of disrespect but is fortunately distracted by Rasasvada appearing by his side. "Go enlist a peasant."
"Yes your majesty~" The taller demon agrees with ease, tail sweeping behind him in feline amusement. He too, is fond of pestering the humans.

Sorry for the poof all! I was dragged out last minute to go and do something.)
Karma -- cafeteria -- renaissance
Turning to Lyrics general direction, Karma sent her a somewhat dramatic pout "So rude~" though, he wasn't actually bothered. It was hard to bother him with anything, really. He was used to misfortune, a few rude people here or there would never get to him. Before he could even finish cleaned up the first spill, Jax bumped into him again. Well, there went another bit of the coffee he'd just paid for. Once he'd finally, finally gotten cleaned up he made a beeline for Lyrics table. She happened to the closest, and she had dared to interact with him.
He'd never really interacted with her, but he did know her name. What a good time to start to get to know her "Why hello there, couldn't help but hear you and thought i'd introduce myself. You must be her summon." he added, looking to Cronus.
Alice -- cafeteria -- × Alice looked to her teacher and greeted her with a smile, saying "Good morning!" when their attention was drawn to the first year teacher she couldn't help but laugh "Oh yeah, mornings usually started like that. Don't let him and Karma stay in a room together for too long." they'd start a fire or a cult, depending on how good their luck was that day. Alice liked Aries, even if the other didn't have a demon of her own. As long as she was a good teacher, she had Alices respect. She remembered her classes with Jax, and they'd certainly never been boring.

Karma -- cafeteria -- renaissance
Karma grinned and leaned back in his chair, taking a careful sip of his drink "Oh! That's good." he tilted his head to the side and asked "How are you enjoying the third year classes so far? I remember taking them myself, they were certainly a step up from the second year ones." he was the type to chat idly, even with someone who wasn't much of a talker. A smirk curled his lips and he placed a hand on his chest "If you ever need any help, I'm great at demon summoning." he was quite good at it, but the demons he summoned were... well, one could argue whether or not they were useful.
He made sure to not say this in a way that may make it seem like he was bragging. Karma wasn't the type to flaunt, he really was offering his help if Lyric ever needed anything. There weren't a ton of fourth years around and he needed some sort of social life.

Aries couldn't hide her chuckle, glancing to Jax who was completely unaware of them talking about him. The first year teacher had just caught the first part of her comment before he inserted himself. "Oh come on, don't act like you don't miss my class!" He teased as he slid in next to her, pouring himself some coffee. "I at least made things interesting." He pointed out, earning an eye roll from Aries. "Ah yes. I remember you had kids betting on how many times you'd end up in the nurses office by the end of the day. Lemme guess, the bloody nose is from falling down the stairs again?" Jax puffed out his cheeks in response as he felt his ears burn. "Hey come on! You know I have two left feet! I can't help it!" Aries sighed in response to him as she took a sip of her tea. "Honestly Jax, I think without that demon of yours, you would definitely be six feet under by now." The girl noticed in that moment the demon was conveniently gone, it was just like Jax to try and ditch her, given that she was the reason he ever got any work done. "So where is-" "Lilith? I gave her a break for the day. Demons deserve a day or two to rest too." Jax quickly jumped in, code for 'I ditched her as soon as I could so she wouldn't bug me about my work!'
He coughed, clearing his throat as he quickly tried to change the subject. "He uh... Have they found that Third Year Teacher yet?" He asked. Aries shot him a glare, glancing to Alice. They were strictly told not to mention the any of the missing staff/students, Apollo has already promised he was taking care of it. The teacher put a hand on Alices shoulder, trying to usher her away from the other teacher. "Come on Alice, we should let Mr. Knox get his work done."
---
Cronus sat down with a huff next to her, catching the irritated look she sent his way. "Of course I don't need it. I just figured by now you would've realized I'm the Sin of Gluttony, eating is kind of my whole thing?" He responded sarcastically. Admittedly he didn't care, he got more amusement out of causing problems for her though. The demon watched her carefully through narrowed eyes, wondering if she knew the extent of what a Demon of Gluttony was capable of. Of course, he was only allowed in the school under the pretense that he'd behave himself, making things very boring for the demon. "So cruel~." He chuckled in response to her, shifting his gaze to the fourth year who approached the table they were seated at. The demon raised an eyebrow as he was addressed, surprised since most students weren't half as courteous. "What gave it away? Was it the horns?" He asked sarcastically, tail flicking back and forth in obvious annoyance. It wasn't that he particularly didn't like Karma, but the more friends Lyric had meant less time she'd spend on him; he was a bit needy even if he didn't express it. "I can't imagine you know much more than her. Apollo never leaves his office after all."

Question, can demons just be like, wandering around the school? Cause Lilith looking for Jax and just bothering people is a hilarious image in my mind lol)
Alice -- cafeteria -- ×
Found a teacher? Did they go missing? Alice was instantly interested in what he had to say, but when she was starting to get ushered away she held her tongue. It was rare for her to be the one to shut herself up, but even she didn't want to bother Mr. Knox. And besides, it would give her a mini goal for herself: Figure out just what the hell that had meant. She doubted she'd get any answers from the teahers. When they were a few steps away Alice glanced at Aries and asked "So, what're the plans for today?" the smile on her face a bit too innocent.
Karma -- cafeteria -- × renaissance "Actually it was the sarcastic comments and general personality." Karma quipped back, offering the demon a friendly smile. He tutted and waggled a finger "Now now, you may be right, but there is something to say for experience. I have been doing this for a year longer." either Karma had no sense of self preservation, or he just assumed that people would be friendly enough. To him, Lyric seemed like a nice enough person. Perhaps a bit prickly, but Karma had befriended worse! And Cronus was pretty nice as well, as far as demon standards go. He figured his chances were pretty dang high.

((They can as long as they aren't causing a bunch of trouble. The rules are pretty lax for the most part lol.))
---
Aries was thankful the girl followed instead of asking a bunch of questions; She never would've heard the end of it from Apollo. As she was asked what the plan for class was she offered a smile in return. "We'll be going over summoning safety. Not the most exciting lesson but definitely necessary when your soul is on the line." She took another sip of her tea as she glanced around, noting how the cafeteria was filling up. She glanced to the clock, beginning to worry as she saw they were literally ten minutes away from the bell. Apollo hadn't said a word, seeming even more dismissive than usual of the issue at hand. This wasn't just a small deal, a teacher was missing with no word as to where they could be. She expected him to be more concerned, something about how nonchalant he was about it didn't sit right with her.
It was then Apollo stood up from where he was seated at a table. He cleared his throat before raising his voice. "Quiet down." He started firmly, waiting until the noise of the room fell silent. He cleared his voice again, obviously trying to compose himself for what came next. "For the time being, third and fourth years will be meeting in my classroom for lessons. Our third year teacher has unexpectantly fallen ill and presumably will not be back for quite a while. Fourth years, I expect you to help the third years catch up on our lessons. Anyone who can't keep up with the curriculum will be asked to leave campus." The older male didn't wait for a response, turning on his heel as he left the cafeteria in shocked silence.
Aries was silent, replaying the last bit of information he had put out there. Did he actually just say he'd kick anyone out that couldn't adapt quickly? What of the teacher? She had known that man for five years and he had never taken a sick day. Why was this just being announced? She had assumed Apollo hadn't known where they had gone with how vague he was being. Aries looked to Jax who looked just as surprised, offering a shrug as their eyes met. "What is he hiding?" She had muttered out loud, lost in her own thoughts as she momentarily forgot that Alice was there with her.
---
The demon offered a chuff in amusement, he had to admit the kid was quick with the comebacks. "Well, I guess anyone can be a demon then by your standards, huh?" He teased as he rested his chin in his hand. He appreciated humans that didn't take his banter too seriously, so far he didn't seem too bad. As he pointed out his experience he raised an eyebrow. "By that logic it would make sense to just learn directly from demons, wouldn't it?" He asked in response as he shifted slightly in his seat. "Wouldn't that be something? Imagine learning from the masters themselves." The demon leaned back smugly in his seat. He knew why they weren't permitted to teach students, they had only one goal and had no problem manipulating a bunch of young minds to get to it. He glanced lazily over to Apollo as he began speaking, obviously not interested. Slowly a grin creeped over his features, unable to hide his amusement at the situation the Headmaster had gotten himself into. "Man, humans really are fragile, aren't they? What is that, three people out sick now until the foreseeable future? Interesting how they just keep dropping like flies~."

Lilith -- medical wing -- Ave Domine Nox Noctis Lilith practically bounced down the hall in the medical wing. She'd lost her summoner, and had figured what better way than to hunt him down than do it herself "Lazy bastard, how dare he leave me. I wanted to do something this morning." she hummed to herself, not actually that mad. The pair of wings on her head were stretched out, enhancing her hearing just so. She'd found Jax hiding in the medical wing before, and she was close to it when he'd lost her. So the demon had decided to check here first.
Alice -- cafeteria -- × Eyeing the teacher beside her, Alice found herself asking the same question. What was he hiding? "Maybe we're having a mini pandemic." she suggested "Not that I'm worried, I've never been sick a day in my life." of course that wasn't what it was, but Alice wasn't a fan of the dark mood that was starting to set over everyone. She frowned and crossed her arms over her chest, suspicious but also knowing she'd get no answers from anyone in charge.
Karma -- cafeteria -- × renaissance Karma had opened his mouth to reply, but his words were quickly cut off when his teacher stood. He listened with interest, the easy going smile on his face falling into a frown. How unusual. Karma had been in this school long enough to have a general sense of what was normal. Or what was normal for a demon summoning school. This wasn't exactly usual. When the small meeting had ended, he turned back to look at the pair sharing the table with him. His smile having returned he said "Well well, looks like we'll be seeing more of each other. Glad we've already bonded so much."

Asher was busy glowering at his fellow demon when he felt the sharp poke to his side, drawing his glance to his summoner in confusion. He scoffed as she threated to skip his soul for the day, not that he couldn't survive without, he had managed hundreds of years without a decent one but now that he was getting a steady supply, he wasn't ready to give that up. So the demon adjusted, plastering a fake smile to match his human counter part as she pretended to be friendly with the head masters kid.
Hikari was oblivious to the fact that she wasn't liked, never being able to take hints very well. She shifted as she smoothed out her dress a bit nervously. "Well he did but uh..." The second year trailed off as she looked to her dad as he sipped at his second cup of coffee. The girl furrowed her brow as she sighed. "A lot of the forth years dropped out seeing as he was skipping his classes." It was hard to admit, feeling a bit embarrassed by her dad's careless nature. "He's been so wrapped up in his studies it's like he just doesn't care about his classes... Not like much can be done, he is the headmaster..." The girl gave a sigh, obviously exhausted already when it came to parenting her parent. As his bad mood was mentioned, Hikari felt her cheeks going warm as she awkwardly rubbed the back of her neck. "O-Oh, no I don't think that's it... He tried sleeping in again and we woke him up for class. He's probably mad about that." She admitted as her demon gave a huff beside her. The girl looked over to see her dad glance over, making her stiffen up. She quickly turned to Ivy as she added under her breath. "Don't mention I told you! I'm not really even supposed to know." She insisted before plastering a smile on her features and waving to the older male who looked unamused.
Ivy smiled fakely and shrugged. "Maybe there is something more going on then we think." The female replied before she suddenly sighed and leaned against Asher and bit her lip thiknig a bit. "Anyways do you knopw how long we will have to be with the fourth year classes?" She tilted her head asking Hikari, since she was the headmasters daughter she thought she might know something that is going on in this school of demons.
She ran a hand through her ponytail that ran down the back of her head and shook her head thinking of things that could possibly be going wrong in the school before peeking at Asher out of the corner of bher eye debating on if she should ask him to go snooping around or not before she stood up and said, "Well.... we better get going or we will be late for class. So we will talk to you later Hikari." She turned and walked out of the cafeteria whem she saw Apollo walk out. Her eyes filled with determination at catching up with the teacher without anyone knowing the reason why.

( Looks like I missed my window but that's fine~ I'm assuming my new characters would require minor changes at best, so I hope you don't mind my introducing them a bit early ^^" )
The Queen of Hearts was, naturally, a bit miffed that Rasasvada chose his fellow cake connoisseur to be the delivery boy, but they both know that Judicael would have found some other reason to poke around the medical wing eventually. It's a bit of a calculated move on Ras' part; with the human happily sent off on his little mission, the demon would have more sweets to himself. In a manner of speaking. He'd still have to politely fork-duel Hearts over it, but at least the table wouldn't be divided between all three of their voracious appetites. "Have fun~!" Ras would wave him off but he's defending against Hearts' dogged attack with a teaspoon aimed either at his pudding or his liver. The younger demon clearly doesn't have a preference, if his sanguine smile is any indication.
"Always," Judicael responds with a wry smile. He's busy balancing two portions of food on a silver tray with a crest of intertwined hearts- likely of Hearts' personal set so perhaps it isn't real silver...The demon once invited him to 'tea' with a haunted teapot that cried Earl Grey so he'll have to be especially careful with whatever this is. Perhaps if he lingers long enough he'll have the opportunity to study it... He's preoccupied with this thought as he walks, carefully raising the tray over his head to inspect the marbled bottom- ah, he should have brought his summon in order to take notes...So enamored is he, that it takes almost five minutes to realize the light tap-taps echoing through the empty hall aren't, in fact, in his head. Jude glances up to see a familiar demon ahead of him as they near the only occupied room in the medical wing. Surprising, given her summoner's track record.
"Morning, Lilith~" He smiles at her as he matches pace. "On the hunt for Jax, I presume? It might not be long before he arrives, considering the bloody nose I saw him sporting earlier~" When they come upon the patient's room the door is already ajar, and voices can be heard within.
"Ah, Rhodan let me just-"
"I said I'm fine I just needed rest! Now where's my bloody breakfast?!"

((Sorry guys! I was dealing with being sick and wasn't able to do much. I'm starting to feel better so here's hoping the meds are doing something.))
((Also, happy late birthday Ren! :3))

Aries was startled as Alice spoke up, forgetting she was standing next to the student. She offered her best reassuring smile that was sub-par at best. "I'm sure it's not that serious. It's only three people after all." The teacher knew she'd never hear the end of it if the students ended up in a panic, although at this point she could almost blame it on Apollo; he really was tactless when it came to delivering bad news. Aries raised her head as Jax wandered over, still coddling his nose. "You should really get that checked out, you may have broken it." She suggested. The younger teacher scoffed as he brushed her concern off. "Broken? I've never broken anything in my life!" He insisted, earning a harsh look from her. He sheepishly ducked his head, offering a much weaker chuckle. "Alright fine... I'm sure it's fine though..." He muttered as he slunk off to the medical ward. Aries turned her attention back to the rest of the students. "Alright everyone, get to your respective classes before the bell!" She called, making her way out to get to her own classroom before the bell rang. For now, she wouldn't worry about the missing people.
---
Hikari was obviously relieved as her dad announced mixing the classes, her stiff frame relaxing as she gave a sigh. "I haven't got a clue. I imagine until we find a substitute for the third years but I don't think that's at the top of my dad's priorities." She admitted as she fiddled with her dress. Asher was absent-mindedly looking around the cafeteria when his summoner leaned on him. He caught her biting her lip and instantly knew the gears were turning in her head. The demon had a feeling she had some sort of plan cooking up and couldn't help chuckling softly at the thought; he really did manage to find someone just as mischievous as him. "Oh yeah, I'll see you later!" Hikari called as Ivy began walking off, turning to her own demon as she collected her books. Asher followed Ivy, clearing his throat as he tried to catch her attention. "I know that look on your face. What are you planning? Whatever it is, you know I'm in~."
---
Cronus didn't respond to the human, simply crossing his arms as he leaned back in his seat. In the corner of his eye, he could see his summoner getting irritated and he couldn't blame her. Apollo already had a reputation around school for never showing up to his classes, it could mean graduating was pushed back even farther depending on how often he actually showed up. The demon flicked his bone like tail as he gave a low chuckle. "Ooh, tough luck. If he wasn't so wrapped up in his own research he'd be a half-way decent teacher." The demon teased, knowing it most likely would just aggravate her more. The demon was more than happy to finish off the toast she passed him, used to finishing off whatever she didn't finish herself. "You gotta wonder what exactly he's working on. It has to be important if he's willing to hurt his own reputation to get it..." The demon trailed off as he finished the toast in a couple of quick bites. "Maybe he's kidnapping students and experimenting on them, wouldn't that be a twist?" He chuckled. "We are talking about a man who used his own wife for a sacrifice, nothing seems out of bounds for him."
---
Apollo made his way down the hallway, unaware that he was being followed. He was heading for the medical ward specifically for a certain student he had happened upon last night. The teacher recalled the events vividly, catching him in the middle of a summoning. He couldn't decide if he was brave or stupid, especially for trying to summon such a high level demon. The headmaster was on edge, he had managed to get his hands on a very high level summoning book which meant one thing; he had at some point been in his office. His paperwork was generally tucked away in a locked drawer but wouldn't put it past the boy to find a way to open it. He knew if anyone found out it could mean serious trouble, so he had to figure out a way to feel out the situation without giving anything away. He turned down the hall into the medical wing, seeing Judicael and Lilith there already. He passed them both, not uttering a word as he tended not to be very friendly in the first place. As he made his way inside, he noted the voice of the culprit, seeing Dian as he seemed to be trying to tend to the troublemaker. "Mr. Rhodan." Apollo stated flatly as he eyed the student. "Let Mr. Cecht do his job." It was definitely more of a command than suggestion. The older male crossed his arms, pinning the delinquent with a cold look. "Just exactly what exactly did I end up stumbling into last night?"
---
Jax was headed for the medical wing, holding his sore nose. He wanted to believe it wasn't broken but Aries was rarely wrong about these things. As he turned the corner he saw his demon, immediately making his stomach sink as he knew he was really going to get an earful. "Oh Lilith, there you are!" He feigned as he made his way over, smiling as if nothing was going on. "You gotta stop wandering off." He teased playfully as he joined the two. He turned to Judicael, raising his free hand in greeting. "Morning Jude! Looks like you're keeping yourself busy."

It's all good! I hope you feel better and recover quickly ^^ )
Lilith -- medical wing -- Ave Domine Nox Noctis × Lilith placed her hands on her hips and flapped her wings "He'd better be. It's impossible to track him down when he puts his mind to it." it wasn't hard to miss the yelling and she snorted, raising her eyebrow. Even Apollo went in, which made Lilith uneasy. His presence always did, even if she did want to fight him on some level. "Sounds like they're appreciative." before she could ask further about the patient, she heard her summoner. Whirling around she charged him and jumped, avoiding the bloody mess carefully. She probably would have dragged him down if not for her compensating for the weight with her wings "You! You're the one who wandered off and you know it. You owe me." she scolded, pouting and glaring at him.
Alice -- hallway -- open Aries seemed eager to get away from prying eyes and ears, so Alice finished up her meal and slowly started to make her way to class. She was lost in thought as she walked, somewhat slowly. What she heard was interesting, but currently she didn't have anyone to share the information with. A part of her wondered if she even should. She'd had a leg up on others if she could figure out what was going on before they did "Hmm, I wonder what I should do." she muttered to herself.
Karma -- cafeteria -- renaissance × Well, she wasn't wrong. He really never was there for their class. Karma laughed lightly, apparently not bothered "Well, you may be right there. But at least we'll be able to do as we wish. There are plenty of other ways to learn, and without a teacher we won't be limited." when Cronus brought up 'experimentations' his easygoing smile faltered for a moment "Now now, we don't want to say anything out loud that would, for example, get you sent back to hell." experimentation sounded outlandish, but with the limited info they had, one could argue it was as likely as literally anything else.

Jett arrogantly draws himself up even as he inwardly falters at the headmaster's steely tone and frosty bearing. It's as if he'd brought the early winter winds in with him. His blue gaze darts briefly to Antimony, who surreptitiously tucks her head behind his pillow. A nonverbal 'you're on your own, jerk'. She hadn't seemed to care about his attempting to summon another demon but she had groaned and griped extensively when he acted on it. Likely because she was the one who had to pull his bleeding body away from the pentacle. The blond snatches the foul-smelling concoction Cecht had been offering and knocks back half of it, trying to buy himself some time. He's surprised that he managed the movement, almost scared stiff with the very real threat of expulsion. He can't be expelled. He can't fail. What would his family say? Jett chokes on the tincture but pays no mind to his burning throat. What would his family do? He can't go back there. He can't he can't...
He needs to buy himself some time. He jerks away from the redhead who is sympathetically rubbing his back and forces himself to meet the headmaster's glare. "I was..." He straightens and clears his throat, trying for blasé. "I was trying out a new spell, a way of strengthening my demon but it appeared to go awry. I'd be happy to discuss the results with you upon my recovery." The boy widens his eyes and briefly slants them toward the others in the room- particularly Judicael, who snorts at his uncharacteristically respectful tone. "Of course if you'd rather we discuss it here, I wouldn't mind describing how I applied the spell. Dr Cecht could probably help with the translation." It's a gamble to be sure- he'd bet that Apollo wants to keep this secret just as much as he does. Hopefully they can come to an agreement away from prying eyes. Fortunately, this is the same lie he gave the doctor, so to anyone else it'd at most be a private lecture or punishment. More flowers are slowly blooming on Antimony's tail however...either reacting to danger or anxiety. Possibly both, he can admit on some level, as he meets the older summoner's gaze.

"Morning! Looks like I could say the same for you, professor." Judicael is delighted to find that he'd sacrificed the remainder of his meal for such a good cause~ He smilingly presents the overloaded tray to the doctor before setting it down carefully on the bedside table. "Ah, thank you Jude~" Dian beams at him before carefully dividing the food between Jett and himself. He pushes the lone blueberry muffin toward the opposite side of the tray, hoping to cheer the student up with his favorite snack. "And good morning Apollo!" Judicael had held off on addressing the man who is staidly ignoring them, but Dian is oblivious as ever. "It's nice to see you up and about, and checking on a student no less! Rest assured Mr Rhodan is set to-" He trails off at the headmaster's harsh words, canting his head in confusion when he glances toward the blond, who is presently ignoring his gaze. Intrigued, the younger summoner steps back and away from them, half turning toward Lilith's reunion with a light chuckle. "Still, it's a good idea to stop by the medical wing before class, just in case. I'm sure Mr Knox just didn't want to burden you with such a minor injury~" Dian straightens at the last word, rising abruptly and nearly upending the plate he'd balanced on his knee. Judicael steadies it before it can fall and slips it onto the table without the redhead noticing. "Oh, of course! I'm sorry about that Mr Knox." He dips his fingers into the pocket of his labcoat and withdraws a small slip of paper featuring a pentacle traced in blood. Lilith is in the way, and he's forced to dodge that flapping of her wings as he kind of brandishes the seal, not wanting to get between the two. With the man successfully distracted, Judicael is free to act as if he's observing the admittedly entertaining trio whilst paying attention to the conversation going on behind them. Jett isn't very skilled at being subtle, and Judicael hides a smile behind the tart he steals from Dian's plate.

Lyric || 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 × Lyric sighed, swinging her bag over her shoulder. "I suppose some freedom would be nice. We can easily go ahead in the curriculum, but I think most of the students are just going to slack off." She responded, waiting for Cronus to finish off the toast before she began walking out of the cafeteria towards class. She glanced at Karma as the boy responded to her demon's thoughts. "I suspect he is up to something. He's got to be." She said with a shrug, focusing her gaze back where she was going. She hesitated, as she almost forgot she needed to go to the fourth year class room instead of the third year. "And nobody's going to send my summon back to hell besides me." She added as she turned the correct direction.
