Milo comes back one day to FernClan with a rogue. A former member of the group that once threatened the Clan for territory. Her name is Bottles, and she is laden with Milo's kits. The Clan agree to take her in, but Milo is in hot water for taking this her as his mate.

Juniperheart, Milo, Dawntail, Bramblepaw, and Dustpaw, remembering when they spied and speculated on Pikestar, do the same to Houndstar and Oat. When he's not training, Heronpaw can be seen teaching Bottles about clan life. Lionfrost has had to separate them multiple times throughout the day for either cutting into training, or annoying the clan.
Houndstar caught onto the group's plan pretty fast, having seen them planning something back when Pikestar was leader, and they're really not good at hiding things. Houndstar didn't immediately punish them however. He decided to play along and see where it went.

Bottles gives birth to her kits after having a small introduction to the side of the territory the rogues couldn't obtain.
She names her kits after her parents... and Heronpaw. Causing a larger ruckus cause Heronpaw won't shut up about the kits. Milo laughs maniacally in the background.
Oat and Grain have a walk outside for some time to talk about Oat's odd sickness. But Oat comes back to camp scared as a passing Twoleg had taken Grain to their nearby home.

Heronpaw and Milo got into a physical fight with claws unsheathed in the middle of camp over Bottles.
Pikeclan finally attempted to get Grain back, but failed, resulting in Viper and Dawntail's capture. This lowered the moral of the clan, especially since Dawntail and Viper where two of the cats trying to raise it in the first place.

When Milo and Heronpaw were about to attack eachother Bottles interrupts and mentions that she gets a choice in this situation. "If you two really want me, then I get to choose who gets me!" Bottles mentions. As soon as the words come out of her mouth, Bottles regrets it.
Despite Dawntail and Viper's capture, Branch continues ralling the clan for another rescue mission. If no one helps him, he threatens to rescue them himself.

Bottles says that she will give herself until the next half moon to decide (Half a moon, as it's new moon). She regrets this, too. Heronpaw helped her so much and was so kind to her, and she now has Heronkit, but she has Milo's kits. She is already siding towards Milo, though. This does make Milo and Heronpaw begin to act even nicer than usual to Bottles.
Nobody in Pikeclan volunteers, so Branch goes alone. He gets captured by the twolegs, and Pikeclan isn't acting.
The captured cats are planning to escape by themselves.

The kits have been angry at their mother for this past moon as they thought Milo and Heronpaw were their fathers. Heronkit and her littermates beg Wolfstar to separate Heronkit from their mother by choosing her own name.
Bottles's distraught but does nothing as Heronkit is now named Eggkit.
Beetle, in the mess of missing clanmates, had remembered how and why they ended up at the Thunderpath. His name was Trash, the Twolegs dumped him over being the only one in his litter not to be bought by a new owner; born in a kitten mill. That's why the Twoleg has snatched up Grain and the others.

Bottles has been avoiding everybody (even her kits) as much as possible. This causes her kits to think she doesn't love them anymore because Eggkit changed her name. This is causing the other kits to alienate Eggkit. Bottles is excusing her actions by claiming it's because she "needs time to think".
The rescue mission was a success, mainly because the captured cats' escape plan and Pikeclan's rescue mission intercepted.

While training, Eggpaw scented fox. Her and Otterfur were attacked by two. Eggpaw lost an eye from the fox, and Otterfur has been severely injured.
Dawntail's sickness has been getting worse, and she fears it might affect her kits. Oat tries everything she can, and even gets help from Juniperheart, however it all has little effect on Dawntail.

Eggpaw has been sneaking out during the night practicing her fighting abilities. Eggpaw's siblings have subtlety been attacking Eggpaw from her blind spot with claws unsheathed.
Dawntail has occasionally vomited up blood, however it's very little. Branch has been glued to Dawntail's side ever since she started vomiting blood. Rumors go around that Branch fathers Dawntail's kits. However, Branch denies fiercely that he has anything to do with this.

Eggpaw; being more experienced with only one eye, frequently attacks Bananapaw with claws unsheathed from her blind spot. Bananapaw pleads for forgiveness and mercy, however Eggpaw is unwilling to give it to her.
Dawntail gives birth to Shadowkit and Shadekit. Dawntail's sickness seems to be at it's peak. Branch refuses to leave Dawntail's side, even to eat.

Wolfstar sends a patrol out to find Bananapaw. The patrol finds something.. strange. They report that they saw Bananapaw on the ground without both her eyes. Bananapaw survived thankfully, but has been forced to the elder's den. Eggpaw overhears Bottles saying "Whoever did this has a hallow heart." Milo corrects her with "Hollow." Eggpaw likes the term 'Hallow'.
Oat has decided that Bloodcough cannot spread. That's why Branch didn't get sick from Dawntail. The clan is relieved by this, however are hoping for news on how you get Bloodcough.
