(Keeping it here might be easiest to not confuse the two patrols, and since they’ll only be hunting close to the border anyway, if you guys are good with that!)

Briarpatch didn't like the way Birdkit moved her head to stare only out of her one eye, but she smiled sweetly at her daughter, "Yes, your eyes are a very pretty blue. Would you like to play a game with me? Here tell me if you can see my tail." Briarpatch moved her tail over to the side near the kit's cloudy eye.
Snailkit pouted further, "Like what? Kits can't do anything!"

“Thank you.” Birdkit purred, before she gave a confused look when Briarpatch’s tail seemed to just disappear. She complained. “No, I can’t-“ She had to turn her head fully around to finally see it come into view. She purred sweetly. “Oh. Now I can see it!”
Flarestorm glanced at Briarpatch and Birdkit with a hint of curious concern, before he looked back at Snailkit and Luckykit. “There’s plenty to do. We can play badger ride, or pebble toss, or you can find me the prettiest rock in the den.” He offered.

Snailkit's ears perked at Flarestorm's suggestions. "Badger ride sounds fun! I wanna play that!"
Luckykit nodded, just as eager as Snailkit. "Yeah! How do we play?"
Briarpatch hummed, moving her tail to the other side to continue the game beyond the answer to her question. "How about now?" she asked, her tail right next to Birdkit's good eye.

Shadowmask came to a halt once they had reached the outskirts of the twolegplace, looking at the other mentors. “This should be a good place to start.” She mewed, giving a flick of her ear as she surveyed the surrounding twoleg nests.

“All you have to do is hold on tight when you get on my back.” Flarestorm smirked as he lowered himself to the ground so his kits could clamber on. He moved his head, ready to help if Luckykit had any troubles with it.
Birdkit nodded quickly. “Yes! It’s right there… are we playing a game?” She asked curiously, her good eye glancing right at her mother’s tail.
Plumwillow looked around, purring. “It smells like prey, everywhere. This’ll be a breeze for you five.” She flicked her ears, noting a very pleasant scent amongst the prey. Maybe prey in Twolegplace had stronger scents.

"It'd be a breeze no matter where the prey was hiding," Warblerpaw meowed casually, swishing his tail through the long grass at the edge of the woods and eyeing the fences bordering the Twoleg gardens. He glanced over his shoulder at the other four apprentices with a cocky smirk. "Right, guys? I mean, we are going to be SkyClan warriors after all."

Briarpatch nodded, "Yep just a little game, you can go play with Luckykit and Snailkit now though if you'd like. Badger ride's a pretty fun game." she mewed with a lick to her daughter's head.
Snailkit clambered onto Flarestorm's back, digging her tiny claws into Flarestorm's pelt with an eager giggle.
Luckykit reached up with his front leg, trying to grasp onto his father's fur. He frowned unsure on how to get his back legs up. "I can't do it." he mewed with a frown.

"Okay! Thanks, mama! I wanna play too!" Birdkit wobbled back over towards her father and her siblings, while Chervilkit continued to snore in the nest. She moved to try and pull herself up her father's back. Flarestorm nodded once at Luckykit's complaint, moving his muzzle to lift the tom's backside up for better support onto his back. "Is that easier, Luckykit?" He asked.

(Which ones? Not Flyingpaw, right?)
Spiderbite had been avoiding Echowing since the gathering. He focused on checking on the queens and kits, hoping to be able to catch the signs that a queen might kit too early. He wanted to talk to Briarpatch about any symptoms she had before her decided to arrive.

He wanted to talk to Briarpatch about any symptoms she had before her decided to arrive. (Nope! Just the CometSpotted litter and Warblerpaw. I can have Redspring do some training with Flyingpaw tho :3 ) Redspring slipped from the Warrior’s den, flicking her eyes up at the cloudy overcast, before she trained her eyes on the apprentice’s den. Perhaps some training would get her mind off the ache she felt in missing her brother.

Flyingpaw was licking her pelt every time water dripped on it. She flattened her ears, trying to huddle in the apprentice den. Stupid rain.

Stupid rain.Redspring padded towards the den, her ear flicking as she called. “Flyingpaw? Are you awake? It’s a good opportunity for you to get training in inclement weather. Climbing in the rain is harder, but you can certainly do it.” She mewed firmly.

Flyingpaw stood up when she spotted her mentor, but she didn't leave the dry den. "I'm awake, but I hate the rain. It makes the rocks and tree slippery." She pouted.

So it’s best to learn to manage it now than getting stuck in it later.” Redspring grunted, pushing her way into the apprentice’s den and looking at Flyingpaw. It really was exceptional, how much she seemed to grow every day. She nodded. “So, let’s get to training before it gets any worse.”

Flyingpaw huffed. "I hate my fur getting wet," she muttered, but she had a dream of being the best climber in the Clan which meant she had to be excellent at climbing in all kinds of weather. Taking a deep breath she nodded curtly to her mentor. "I'm ready."

"Good. No apprentice of mine would be held back by some rain." Redspring nodded confidently, her voice rough as always, but a clear hint of pride in her apprentice visible in the way she looked at her. She mewed. "We're going to practice climbing in the rain. If you can grip onto wet bark and stone, then it becomes exceptionally easier when it's not wet. Think of it as a speed up process of climbing training. We'll head towards the cliffs, and use the lower ledges to start, where the trees are. We'll avoid the Jagged Peak for now, no need to climb that high." She muttered, thinking of Emberpaw's foolish decision to try and climb it. She flicked her tail for her apprentice to follow her out of camp.

Once on his father's shoulders, he crouched, digging his claws through Flarestorm's fur like Snailkit was. "Yeah! Thank you." he mewed with a wide grin. Briarpatch purred fondly as she looked at Flarestorm with the three kits on his back. "You should be glad Chevrilkit's still sleeping, I'm not sure you'd have room for him too on there." She lowered her head to their last kit, still slumbering soundly and began to groom his fur, curling her tail around him to keep him warm.

“He’s got to be the world’s easiest kit.” Flarestorm chuckled to Briarpatch, taking in her beauty for a few moments before he winked at her.
Chervilkit was exceptionally calm and easy for a kit, preferring to sleep and play in the nest than to explore or try and play tricky games. He glanced back at Luckykit, Birdkit, and Snailkit. “Are you three ready? You have to hold on real tight, got it?” He teased.
“Hi mama.” Chervilkit mumbled softly, tucking himself close to her as soon as she got back into the nest.

Briarpatch touched her nose to the top of Chevrilkit's head before she continued her grooming. "Hi, little one. You sure you want to stay in the nest with me?"
Snailkit wiggled excitedly, making sure to hold on tight. She giggled, calling out loud, "I'm ready! I'm ready!"
Luckykit gave Birdkit a look of uncertainty before he dug his paws into Flarestorm's fur further. He only hoped he was able to stay on with his sisters.

“Yeah.” Chervilkit nodded slowly, before he gave a big yawn and mumbled. “Don’t wanna move, it’s nicer here.” He decided, having eaten alot before his little nap. It showed, with how big he was compared to his sisters and brother. He rolled on his back like a pillbug.
“Alright! Here we go!” Flarestorm chuckled, making sure to be extra careful not to buck anyone off. Instead, he gave big dramatic rumbles and huffs as he galloped around the den, careful not to disturb Sunnykit and Ledgekit, who were playing mossball near Tricklefrost’s nest.

She rumbled. “Have you been practicing climbing the ledges in camp like I instructed?” She asked.

Briarpatch snorted in amusement but settled back content to keep Chervilkit company while the others played. "You've all been easy kits, you certainly didn't get that from either of us."
Luckykit squeaked as Flarestorm started moving around the den, his body jerked from side to side with each step but he managed to hold on.
Snailkit squealed in delight, looking at Birdkit with a wide grin. "This is fun! Faster! Faster!"

"That's what I like to hear. You remind me of Willownose. She could climb anything, fast as the wind, without missing a single step." Redspring admitted, the fondness she held for her best friend evident in her voice, before she grew gruff again. "We'll start with some scenarios. The rainwater's loosened one of the ledge's rocks. How would you avoid a landslide or break in the ledge when climbing?" She asked.
"Oh. Were you bad kits?" Chervilkit asked sleepily, one green eye peeked open as he looked at his mother.
"Faster? Think you can handle it?" Flarestorm gasped dramatically, letting himself move quicker at the sound of his daughters' enjoyment. He asked quickly. "Doing okay on there, Luckykit?"

"Not bad kits, mischievous maybe. I didn't have any littermates to play with, so I got into trouble because I was bored. You are very lucky to have so many siblings." Briarpatch replied.
Luckykit opened his mouth to say something, only to lose his grip, yelping as he landed on his side next to his father.
Snailkit pouted as she watched Luckykit fall, knowing her fun was probably over. "Aw Luckykit, you didn't hold on well enough." she complained.
