Lavendersky turned her head to face him, giving a soft purr. "At one time, I vowed not to heal our clan, back when Robinstar was beginning to take control. I was not born in Skyclan, and there was talk of us non-clan cats." She explained, tipping her head slightly, tail twitching.

(I think so, I know it was a long time ago, shortly before Adderclan. I remember writing it, I remember rping it, I don't remember timelines.)

Lavendersky snickered softly, "Not exactly. Shortly after that, half the clan dispersed to the rest of the clans to avoid death." She said, shaking her head at the memories.

“Willownose is the best company in the clan.” Redspring decided firmly, looking at her best friend with a faint softness reserved for her. She looked at Ashfeather and Willownose and blurted out suddenly. “Next time, take more than yourself on a hunt. Willownose and I could catch more prey alongside you.” She tapped her tail, not sure why she felt so impulsive.

Ashfeather sighed, nodding in agreement. "I guess it was pretty foolish to go out myself, both of you know I'm not a fantastic hunter in the first place." Looking between them he thought that he was the happiest when he was with the two of them. He had been quite lonely when Shadowmask had gotten a mate had moved to the nursery, without his sister he didn't have anyone else originally. Until one day Redspring and Willownose had somehow intertwined themselves into his being. He couldn't imagine his life without them now. Shaking his pelt, he frowned to himself. Where had these thoughts come from?

Weaselpaw took in Thrushpelt’s advice deeply the following days after the gathering. He was right, if he wanted to be a strong apprentice, he needed to start focusing more. He didn’t want to be a slacker, or a lazy cat. Weaselpaw twitched his tail in aggravation, ‘Why did this have to be so difficiult...’ he wondered as he searched for a poetential training partner.

(Lol, a lot about that gathering was cringy XD I even think Northstar was.)

Spiderpaw flicked his ear and glanced toward the camp entrance. He had tried to get a glimpse of Cliffheart at the gathering since Lavendersky spoke of him so often and he had come to SkyClan to aid them in the fire. However, Cliffheart didn't look so happy at the gathering. "I suppose so. I'll certainly keep an eye out for the Dark Forest for as long as I'm medicine cat." He looked back at Lavendersky. "When did you realize that Robinstar was falling? What are the signs that the Dark Forest is influencing someone?"

(The entirety of Scarstar's reign was cringe XD)

Lavendersky sighed softly, "To be honest, even I am not entirely sure. Robinstar was always the more manipulative one, even as a kit." She meowed as she turned more towards Spiderpaw. "However, if there is one thing I remember that I found odd, was injuries. They would wake up with injuries that had not been there the sunrise prior. I should have noticed it, but honestly I just thought they rolled on a thorn in their sleep, or clawed each other while asleep in the apprentice den." She explained. "Seclusion as well, and fighting techniques that no mentor would teach an apprentice at such a young age."

(Which reminds me, Lovestone still needs to coerce Echopaw, right?)

(Oh no, looking back on it, Scarstar in herself was a big old ball of cringe.)

"No one noticed back then, and unfortunately, I doubt anyone would notice now. The cats in the Dark Forest, are sneaky, are certainly know what they are doing." Lavendersky meowed, thinking back on it. "Your mother, Cliffheart, and Spiritstar would know better than I about what to look for."

(Oh I know! I was more saying that as a reminder for myself)

Weaselpaw arched his back in surprise at his mentor’s request. Don’t get him wrong he wanted to go, he was just a bit jumpy after what happened with Spiderpaw. ‘That’s just how he acts...’ he thought to himself. Nevertheless the bounded over to his mentor’s side happily, wanting to prove himself to his mentor.

Ashfeather, in a moment of boldness, briefly brushed past Redspring as he past. "Don't worry about it." he murmured before looking back at Weaselpaw. "Now, what can you tell me about taking a bird down from the sky Weaselpaw."

Willownose put her tail on Redspring’s shoulder momentarily with a sigh. “I think the fire’s messed with our heads.” She was usually assertive and sure of herself all the time, but after the fire, nothing felt certain anymore... especially when it came to Ashfeather.

Redspring felt her pelt warm strangely as Ashfeather brushed past her, and even more so when Willownose rested her tail on her shoulder. Willownose had always made her feel comfortable, yet now it seemed Ashfeather did the same. She swallowed, not used to these feelings and feeling a bit cross about them. Even so, she nodded to her friend.
“Yes...the fire, it...was certainly a horrible thing. And now with Shadowclan claiming Fourtrees too.” She huffed.
