Spiderpaw padded outside the medicine den and shook out his pelt. He had a satisfied smile on his face as he just finished sorting all the herbs in the den. It never looked so good in there! He sat down by the trickling creek outside the den and to clean his paws.
Splashecho was eating by the warrior's den, lost in thought.
Flyingpaw practiced her climbing.

Warblerpaw paused for a moment, considering his mentor’s insightful words. Imperfections… He quickly shook his head, following her around the tree and gazing at the massive branch that seemed to come from the sky itself to touch the ground. “Wow!” he exclaimed, jumping right up onto the bough and giving it a good scratching. “Yeah, but it’s also kind of incredible.” "One in the same, those words, yet again!" Plumwillow purred, before she suddenly bunched her legs and leaped onto the weirdly curved branch. She playfully following the branch downwards and then upwards again, exclaiming. "I used to come out here alot to play on this branch. Look! See all my claw marks?" She mewed proudly. "This was where I learned how to put my paws in the right place to not wrench them on bark." |

Warblerpaw leaned in, seeing the weathered claw marks. He added some fresh ones alongside them, purring. Being in the trees, feeling his claws sink into the bark, felt so natural. He looked up at his mentor where she sat on the funny branch. "Hey, Plumwillow!" he meowed. "Let's race!"
Before even finishing his sentence, he'd already darted toward the trunk of the massive tree, quickly scaling upwards to the next huge limb.

They don't call me bark-breaking Plumwillow for nothing! Before you ask who 'they' is, it's a saying I made up just now!" |

Spiderpaw flicked his ear. "No. I didn't learn any new herbs." He lifted his chin up. "I know all of them already." It still stung his stomach knowing he was the oldest medicine cat apprentice of all the Clans. His siblings were even warriors already. He felt he deserved his full medicine cat name, but Lavendersky withheld it. Spiderpaw twitched his whiskers to twitch the thought away. "Why do you want to learn herbs?"

Warblerpaw laughed loudly, jumping between branches. Plumwillow's energy was always so easy to match; he was so thankful his mother had assigned her as his mentor. "Prove it, then!" he challenged. The branches became more pliable the higher they went, making bouncing off of them that much easier. The top was in view now; he could almost taste victory!

Spiderpaw twitched his whiskers. "Hmph. Well, herbs are important. Warriors can't fight or hunt without them. They should be respected because one day they could save your life--if the right paws are using them, of course." He puffed out his chest. "Like mine."

Plumwillow called up, suddenly taking a turn and climbing up the other side of the tree, where she had grooved her paws in often enough to make comfortable divots upwards. She used the momentum until she was on the opposite side of him, her muzzle curling into a grin as she challenged him. |

Warblerpaw's grin sharpened as he picked up the pace, finally coming to a stop at the point where the branches became too thin to support a cat's weight, panting lightly. He was ready to yowl his victory when he noticed Plumwillow next to him, grinning like she'd just caught a particularly fat mouse.
"Aw, what?" he groaned, a light laugh escaping him. "Guess I've still got a few moons before I'm warrior-ready, huh?" He looked out across the treetops of their territory, admiring the way the sinking sun painted the sky in dusky hues of pink and purple as a light breeze gently swayed the branches they perched in. It was still cold, but the bitter bite of leaf-bare had begun to ebb as newleaf prepared to take hold of the forest.
"I love being a SkyClan cat," he said simply.

The cold breeze brushed through her fur, though she enjoyed the sharp coolness of it. She purred. "And Skyclan loves you being you. You know, I think we're pretty lucky that we get to see this kind of view everyday. We can be safe up here, even if everything is getting crazy down there." She looked at him then, turning to balance on her toes and mew excitedly. "Promise me that you'll never lose that spark of yours, got it? Skyclan would be lesser for it if you did." |

The mottled tom shivered slightly before turning to begin his descent. "I'm beat," he said as he climbed down. "Should we head back to camp?"

Warblerpaw chuckled, too, landing safely back onto the curved branch. "Aw, but then I could really live up to my name!" he said. He padded along the branch as it bowed to the ground, stepping off of it lightly onto the worn earth that made up the floor of the forest. He paused to stretch languidly before beginning to trot off in the direction of their camp, following the ground as it sloped upwards. "Should I try to hunt before we go back?"

Plumwillow landed beside her apprentice with a surprisingly graceful bound for all of her endless energy. She waved her tail and nodded quickly. “That’s a good idea! I know the patrol to Twolegplace might bring back more prey, but that doesn’t mean we have to stop hunting here! So. Get us going, do you scent anything?”

Emberpaw waited impatiently for Hawkpaw, knowing that now was a better chance than ever to practice climbing the high ledges. She didn’t get to spend as much time as she used to with her sister, but after their first moons of training, she wanted to show off her skills.

(Not gonna lie, I'm kinda proud of the landmarks made for SkyClan's territory. They're definitely landmarks that make for something easy to rp if anyone can't think of something: Skystar Tree, Jagged Drop, Boulder Hollow. I like the uniqueness there.)

Skyclan lucks out in that there wasn’t much established to their territory because they were made later on, so we can play around with what it looked like before the twolegs expanded twolegplace to Skyclan’s forests.) |

(I do like the design of the territory and I hate how often I don't include it in my posts. I need to start making the uniqueness of each territory more proponent in my posts so each Clan doesn't risk looking alike. SKyClan's border are even unique, one thunderpath, one simple scent-line, and a river with a jagged cliff. I'm kinda jealous xD
I'm just geeking over the differences in the Clan right now. SkyClan rarely spends time on the ground, they rely on birds like WindClan relies on rabbits. Apprentices have to climb to the top of Skystar Tree before becoming warriors. It's a great culture)
