(Sounds good, post a starter for me?) (Bet) Redspring padded into camp with a rather satisfied look. Flyingpaw was proceeding excellently with her training. She knew she would be a good Warrior, when the time came. The muscular she-cat looked around, hoping to catch sight of Willownose or Ashfeather. While her heart still ached knowing they were so close now, she still couldn’t help wanting to be around both of them. Emberpaw practiced her battle moves, hoping to get one of the other apprentices to practice with her.

Whitesun gave a nod once they finished marking the ThunderClan border, “Let’s head back.” He said, turning back towards camp. He would have to discuss with Spiritstar who would be on the first mixed hunting patrol with ThunderClan into the Twolegplace.
Firepaw sat outside the apprentice’s den, still feeling curious about the ThunderClan patrol that had visited. He remembered stories his father told him and his siblings about his birth Clan, and had often wondered if it had been different from SkyClan.
Frostlight sat in a bit of warm light, grooming her fur. She was a bit bored, and was thinking about seeing if anyone would want to go hunting with her.

"Aye-aye." Flarestorm waved his tail leisurely as he sauntered after the deputy. "You think Spiritstar will let us explore Twolegplace? Think we might run into a dog or two?" He asked.
"Firepaw." Lichengaze padded from the elder's den, spotting his grandkit sitting near the apprentice's den. It took some effort to make his way over, but the elder trained his better eye on the younger tom. "You look like you're watching a whole flock of birds fly by. Something on your mind?"
Withermist crouched in the shaded part of the cliffs, close to the camp walls, methodically working at a root that was in the ground. He was prone to making activities out of odd actions, and it seemed this time this root had caught his attention. After all, what if one of the kits tripped over it? Withermist didn't like that thought. The tom's eyes trained on the root, unblinking as usual. He did glance over at Frostlight a few times, wondering how she was able to get her fur to always look so nice. It must have taken alot of work.

Whitesun led the way back to camp, his tail tip twitching lightly at Flarestorm’s questions, “The less we see if the Twolegplace, the better. I doubt we’ll go further than the outskirts. And we better hope that we don’t run into a dog.” He said, flicking his ear as he thought of the possible disasters that could happen on one of these hunting patrols. The more he thought of them, the more uneasy he felt about it.
Firepaw jumped lightly at his grandfather’s voice and looked up at him before giving a shrug, “Nothing really.” He said, not wanting to admit to Lichengaze that he was thinking about a life in his father’s birth clan. He doubted it would be any different from living in SkyClan, especially with his halfclan heritage. He shuffled his paws lightly before looking back at his grandfather, “Lichengaze… what’s your opinion on the ThunderClan patrol that came today?” He asked.
Frostlight sighed, glancing around the camp before locking eyes with Withermist. She perked up, wondering if he would want to go hunting with her. Standing and padding towards him, she flicked an ear in interest at what he was doing, “What are you up to, Withermist?” She asked, tilting her head to take a look.

Standing and padding towards him, she flicked an ear in interest at what he was doing, “What are you up to, Withermist?” She asked, tilting her head to take a look. "I bet it would be one of those little yappy ones." Flarestorm smirked. "Smaller than an apprentice. I swear, I hear them all the time." Getting a little more serious, Flarestorm looked at the deputy and hummed. "I'm more worried about running into those rouges that Thunderclan seemed to have problems with. I get a feeling they're not going to be too keen on Clan cats coming around. I mean, unless they've torn eachother up considering how barbaric they seem to be." "My opinion on the patrol..." Lichengaze laughed lightly, before he took a breath and gave a thoughtful and focused look. "Tactically, it's actually rather clever. First, they sent their deputy and medicine cat, and only one Warrior. They knew if we chased them off, they could pull the card that we threatened a medicine cat. It also means that they decided to give us the upper paw still, by letting Spiritstar talk to a Warrior that's not her equal, but who Thunderclan will listen to. Deputies often are given missions just like these. Seen it all the time." He chuckled, before looking at Firepaw. "Thunderclan benefits from the prey, and is letting Skyclan set the boundaries. We both can only gain from it, if it means we get prey and herbs we can't find anywhere else." He gave a look of sudden understanding. "This is also a chance for you, you know. To meet cats that I'm sure you're very curious about. That's something only you and your siblings can fully understand. But I hope you know that I think you should take any chance you can to get those questions out of your belly." He advised, resting his long tail on his grandson's shoulder. Withermist paused in his digging, turning to train his pale eyes on the she-cat. In the shade, he stood out like a spector, and seemed to whisper to himself for a moment before he finally spoke loud enough for her to hear him. "Root... just, tripping, you know? Don't want that, uhm..." He didn't know much of what to say, but he gave her his attention all the same. He nodded softly at the root.

“We will have to be careful and keep our guard up.” Whitesun said again, but he knew that being careful wouldn’t be enough for the Twolegplace. “I would prefer that we all keep a sharp eye while we’re out there. I don’t want to get into any unnecessary battles with them.” He added.
Firepaw flinched lightly as Lichengaze caught onto his true curiosities of the ThunderClan patrol, “It was just… strange to see cats I had heard about in Cometblaze’s stories, I guess.” He said, looking down and flattening his ears. Firepaw didn’t want his clanmates to think that he would prefer to be in ThunderClan over SkyClan, or that he wasn’t a loyal SkyClan member.
Frostlight looked at the root, seeming to understand what he was trying to say, “Oh, I see. That root has tripped a few cats up, hasn’t it? A sprained paw is never fun to deal with.” She mewed, giving a nod to him. “I was gonna see if you would want to go hunting with me, but I can help you with this instead if you would like.” She suggested. Frostlight always found Withermist to be quite fun to be around, even when they were apprentices together.

Flarestorm mused, though he looked at Whitesun with warm assurance. "You and Spiritstar will know what to do. We've got good leadership." He decided. "I imagine it would be. I'm sure you'd want to know of all of Cometblaze's siblings, and his mother and father. I had Spotteddawn when I was well into my Warriorhood, but I always knew that she would see the world differently than others." Lichengaze looked at Firepaw. "You must feel torn, even if you've only lived in Skyclan. You know that's not your fault, right? I hope you know too, that I will always love you and your siblings, so much. You are my legacy." He mewed softly. "Both." Withermist mewed suddenly, scooting to the side and slapping his tail to invite her to move next to him as he tried to dislodge the root again. "After this... uhm. We can... both." He stammered, quieting again as he felt a flicker of shyness. Nobody really approached him much, he wasn't usually asked to be joined, but Frostlight was always very kind, and he had liked training as an apprentice with her.

Whitesun gave a sigh as they approached the camp entrance, “Let’s just see how this first hunting trip goes.” He said, pushing through the entrance and into camp, “Go ahead and get some prey and rest.” He mewed, letting his patrol go.
Firepaw looked back up at his grandfather and gave a nod, “I know. But sometimes I feel like I’m walking on a thin branch that’s about to break.” He admitted, “Like everything I do is watched carefully and judged quickly.”
Frostlight sat beside Withermist as he scooted over and quickly got to work on helping him to dig up the root. “Great! I’ve been wanting to get out of camp and stretch my paws. It feels like it’s been moons since the last patrol I’ve been on.” She mewed, even though she had been on the morning border patrol earlier.

"Don't mind if I do." Flarestorm perked at the thought of a nice rest, quickly slipping past the deputy as he called dibs on one of the sunniest cliff outcrops. Poppyclaw was already laying there, rolling his eyes at his brother's antics but not moving when he settled at his side.
"All apprentices are watched and judged." Lichengaze chuckled, though it was clear that he was understanding what Firepaw was saying. "Do you think if you mess up, you'll be judged more harshly than say, Flyingpaw or Hawkpaw? I can tell it's a bit difficult for you to get used to your mentor. Buzzardfall's enthusiasm can be as overwhelming as it is inspiring. Above all, I would hope our clanmates understand by now that one's birth doesn't define their character. But, the only one who can brunt these challenges is you, and only you can decide how much ignorance can hurt you."
Withermist stared at the root as they worked on it together. It was starting to come loose, pulling up farther onto the land. He listened to Frostlight's words, humored by how much energy she still had even after doing plenty of work for the day. "Short moon then..." He tried to joke, though his voice came out odd and raspy, and he quickly hummed to himself, before he continued. "You go on... uhm, lots. Patrols, that... yes."

"Did you see what just happened?" she asked, bounding over. Pheasantcry stretched and left the warrior's den, shaking off a bit of fatigue. The senior warrior hated feeling her bones ache when she woke up. Is that Emberpaw practicing alone? she wondered, approaching the she-cat. "Hello, Emberpaw. Are you practicing?"

The stern she-cat frowned, claws extending. She always appreciated Willownose's dedication to the Clan, as deeply as her own. "Oh! Pheasentcry! Yes, I uh. I guess I am. I was hoping the other apprentices would show up, but I got the super early patrol, so I'm the first one back to camp, something like that." She admitted, looking up at the senior Warrior with curiosity.

Ashfeather, who had been reinforcing a spot of the elder's den, perked his ears up at the sound of Redspring and Willownose's voices. Smiling to himself, he hurried over to his best friends. His face fell a little when he caught the end of the conversation, glancing back to the camp entrance where Thunderclan had just left. "Do you really think they would plot something like that?"

"I think that we need to be prepared either way." Redspring answered, looking at Ashfeather as he approached. "The fire destroyed alot of the territories. Recovery has been hard on almost every Clan, I can see that turning into desperate measures to secure resources, even at the cost of other Clans." She shook her head. "It's just oddly sudden, and odd that Lightningstar seems to be giving so much leeway. Suspicious, in a way."

(Bet. I think we made Sunfury and Buzzardfall siblings, so I can work with that :3) "Sunfuryyyy!" Buzzardfall called from one of the ledges in camp, knowing that he probably was sunbathing or doing something leisurely. The energetic she-cat leaped from one ledge to the other, calling out again. "Sunfury! Just because you always won in hide and seek when we were kits doesn't mean you have to keep doing it now!" She complained. "I want to show you something!"

"Good! That's all you're gonna hear! I found the most perfect spot to sightsee over the territory. I thought you might like it, since you like places where nobody can bother your big lump of a self." Buzzardfall stuck her tongue out, scrambling up the ledges to nudge right into her brother's side. "So, I was bringing Firepaw out to start climbing bigger trees, and I chased a squirrel up waaaay to high for the lesson, that's my bad, but I looked out and saw everything. You have to come see it."

It's near Boulder Hollow. The cold keeps all the snakes away, so we don't have to worry about that. But one of the really tall oaks has a big branch on it with hardly any leaves. I'll even race you to it when we get there, if you think you're up for it." Buzzardfall offered, a spring in her step as she circled around her brother.

(Temporary takeover of Spiritstar to get some plots moving!)
Spiritstar had taken great care to prepare her words. While she knew that the Clan had already witnessed the agreement that had been settled, she wanted to still address her Clanmates. Seeing Whitesun return from escorting the patrol back to the border, the silver she-cat pulled herself to the top of the ledge jutting out from the Rock Pile in the center of camp. Her age was starting to show at times, in the way it seemed to get a bit harder to climb as quickly as she once could. Even so, she held herself high, hoping she did not look as tired as she felt the past few days, with sleep coming slowly due to recent bad dreams. She pushed the thought away, focusing on her duties as leader.
"All cats of Skyclan gather beneath the Rock Pile for a Clan meeting!" Spiritstar called, looking out across at her clanmates.
Poppyclaw and Flarestrom turned to look from their ledge, though Poppyclaw had far more elegance in him as he opted to move from the ledge and trek down to gather at the foot of the Rocks. Plumwillow and Dreamlily looked up from their conversation and gathered, with the latter padding next to her father, Frostyfoot, to sit beside him.

Meep.)
Whitesun flicked his ear as Spiritstar called the meeting and quickly joined the clan as they gathered. She must be calling one about the new alliance that they just formed with ThunderClan, he thought to himself. He sat and curled his tail over his paws, waiting for Spiritstar to speak.
Firepaw looked over at Spiritstar from where he was talking to Lichengaze, then glanced back at his grandfather. He stood to join the rest of his clan for the meeting.
Frostlight paused from digging up the root, “Guess this is going to have to wait.” She mewed, looking over to where the clan was gathering, “Come on, we don’t want to miss it.” She mewed to Withermist.
All my other cats joined.

He nodded, quietly following after Frostlight in hopes of getting to sit next to her to listen.

Willownose turned to look at Spiritstar, keeping close to Redspring and Ashfeather. I guess it's time to find out what this is about.
"Let's see what Spiritstar has to say," Pheasantcry told Emberpaw, sitting down next to the apprentice. "Maybe I can help you when she's done."

Spiritstar waited for her clanmates to gather, looking down at them with relaxed and steady eyes. "While I know many will have doubts about this agreement between us and Thunderclan, I want to be the first to say that I would never agree to anything that I believed would not be beneficial to Skyclan, first and foremost. The fire took a heavy toll from all of us. In doing so, we had to strain our herb stores." She looked towards Lavendersky and Spiderpaw, able to understand due to her past as a medicine cat herself.
"Thunderclan has offered a reasonable trade, as well as understanding that if they desire any passage to Twolegplace, it will be under our organization, and our terms. In addition, it is our duty to the Code that reminds us that we must uphold the ways of the Clans. I want no kit, neither Thunderclan nor Skyclan, to starve as a result of this fire, and this leafbare. Thunderclan hunting in Twolegplace is favorable to any war over borders, and my duty as your leader is to keep you all from needless harm. This being said, this offers us a chance at more prey too. Starclan has yet to show disapproval of this agreement either, but I will listen with intent if that changes." Spiritstar nodded. "That is why I have agreed. Even so, you all have a say in this as well. If there are any concerns, I want you to address them here, without judgement." She offered, looking at Skyclan intently.
Lichengaze gave a small smile, nodding at the she-cat's unshaking words, blended with her sense of fairness and openness.
Redspring looked a bit tense, deciding to gather her words properly if she truly wanted to dispute her leader's choice. For now, she waited for other cats to speak.
