Ashfeather's eyes lit up as he caught sight of Willownose, but his face fell quickly as he noticed her apprehension. Padding forward to meet her, he frowned. "Willownose, is something wrong?" he asked quietly.

Willownose didn't budge from where she was, flicking her tail. "ThunderClan's here. Ghostscreech and Peachdapple, more importantly. It seems like nobody knows why they're here yet." she said, glancing back at him. "Do you have any ideas?"

"They'd better have a good reason." Redspring stalked up to Ashfeather and Willownose's sides, her eyes narrowed and her claws extended. The tough she-cat grunted. "They're lucky they brought their Medicine cat, or I'd be happy to chase them out right now." She glanced at her friends, wondering for a moment if the two of them had been talking about other things before this.

Ashfeather’s ears flattened, looking embarrassed that he hadn’t scented the other clan right outside their camp. Peering through the entrance he took in the patrol. “They’ve only brought a few cats, Im sure they’re here for a good reason.” He replied, glancing between the two she-cats. He could at least relax a little bit knowing both of them were there with him to protect.

Shadowclan having Fourtrees was bad enough. Who's to say Thunderclan won't try and carve out some territory?" Redspring huffed, her tail lashing as she looked at the Thunderclan cats. She knew that Spiritstar would listen to what they would say, as much as the leader's empathy could be bothersome at times to the stern Warrior. |

Lavenderbelly was relaxing her the nursery, keeping a close eye on the kits. It had been a few days since Harekit's last escape attempt and she wasn't going to risk any of them getting hurt. She purred softly as Quailkit and Moonkit curled up against her.

"Here to deliver!" Emberpaw exclaimed as she dropped a blackbird in front of Lavenderbelly and the kits, the energetic white she-cat looking at the Queen with bright eyes. "There's so many apprentices now that you've probably gotten all the prey in the clan by now, but this time it's from me." She puffed her chest. "Yep! I caught this one, all by myself."

Emberpaw felt a flicker of pride, her confidence boosted at the Queen's compliment. She turned to look at Moonkit, purring quickly. After all, she was Whitesun's daughter, and if she wanted to be deputy or leader like her father one day, she would need to be close and support all of the clan, including playful kits.
"Sure! I'm always down for some games. What are we thinking? Mossball? Acorn toss? Or capture the feather?" She asked the large kit.

The smaller tom, looked at the two, frowning. He was still hurt from his recent escape, basically stuck on the nest until he recovered

Emberpaw glanced over to Harekit, sympathy in her orange eyes as she mewed. "You're a tough kit, Harekit. You'll be just fine soon, and you'll be running around again like all kits do." She moved towards the pile of moss and bedding the apprentices used to change out the old bedding. She scooped up a moss ball and tossed it right towards Moonkit. "Alright! Show me what you got!"

The kit laughed as she batted it at the apprentice. Her tail flicking quickly.
Quailkit watched between bites black bird. He let out a soft "oof" when the mossball hit him

"Whoops! Looks like we hit the spectator." Emberpaw hid her laughter behind her paw as she eyed Quailkit. "We won't disturb your meal. Want to pass that mossball back, Quailkit?" She asked, tail flicking.

"You could get anyone, really! Like Blackfire, she's really tough, or Skyflight, she's calm and witty, I wouldn't want to argue with her. Or, hey, maybe even Whitesun or Spiritstar herself." She puffed her chest. |

"Ah. You've got your heart on healing?" Emberpaw blinked, eyes wide with interest. She tipped her head. "Huh. You know, I wonder if there's any rules saying you can't learn some stuff, even if you don't have the official title of a Medicine Cat. You know, Spiritstar was once a medicine cat, and she became leader instead! Pretty wild, huh?"

"Back many moons ago, Skyclan was led by a dark cat, who's mate was the leader of Riverclan. They forced Skyclan and Riverclan to unite and created Adderclan. Well, that Skyclan leader, that was Spiritstar's sister, Robinstar." Emberpaw explained, being sure to keep out the dark and brutal details that her parents had told her. "Well, Spiritstar helped to defeat her sister, and Starclan decided she was special, and that she was destined to lead Skyclan, instead of just heal it. So, she listened, and she became leader. That's pretty much how it happened, from what I was told." She nodded.

"Hey now!" Emberpaw laughed. "Plenty of cats are just as deserving of being mentors. Sometimes, Spiritstar might be busy with leader duties anyway. You'll end up being taken out for training by other Warriors often, I bet. But! Until then, I guess we can only see. But, siblings should support eachother too. If one of you gets Spiritstar, you should be proud for them, not jealous. Hawkpaw and I are super close, and I hope you all are too when you become apprentices."
