(Heyo! Start a post for me? I got Buzzardfall open for training!)
"I...we are!" Redspring agreed quickly, moving to groom at her chest fur with a hint of awkwardness, a rareness from the usually composed and bold she-cat. "I just...well, I noticed that he makes you very happy when he's around you, and I can tell that you do the same for him. You know...I...I guess I wouldn't be surprised if you two started seeing eachother as more, you know?" She admitted lightly, before she swallowed. "Or...or not, I'm not really the best at these kinds of things..."
"Dreampaw will benefit too from learning from your wisdom." Frostyfoot nodded gently to Pheasantcry, trying not to let his heartbeat overtake his thoughts. Dreampaw seemed content enough, even if he knew that she was probably still thinking about Echopaw and her refusal to speak to him. "Would you be willing to show her some techniques?"

Okie!)
Firepaw was waiting for Buzzardfall at the camp entrance, having been told that they would be doing some training today. The grumpy tom was slowly growing impatient, wanting to hurry and get out of camp already.

The grumpy tom was slowly growing impatient, wanting to hurry and get out of camp already. Buzzardfall padded towards Firepaw with a skip in her step, scoffing lightly. “With that look on your face, you could scare every kit in the clan. Come on now, what’s with the grumpiness? Today we’re learning some battle moves. Surely that’ll excite you?” She smirked, flicking his cheek with her puffy tail.

“You were taking too long.” Firepaw grumbled, following after his mentor, “I’ve been waiting for you for ages.” But he perked up slightly at the mention of battle training, “What are you going to teach me today?”

I don't really know what he thinks of me." she admitted.

Buzzardfall scoffed, before her more relaxed tone filled her voice. "In all seriousness, I'm going to teach you how to do a cliff pounce. In this lesson, you're going to get the enjoyment of leaping from a short cliff edge and right onto my back! Fun, right?" She beamed, looking at her apprentice in hopes of his mood improving.

I don't really know what he thinks of me." she admitted. "Well...I mean. He would be a foolish mousebrain to not want to be with you." Redspring murmured, her eyes flickering to the side as she tried not to let her feelings well out of her. She didn't want to lose the bond she had with Willownose, even if she knew she was starting to realize it might be something deeper now. And yet, she felt the same way for Ashfeather. She supposed her own feelings were not a priority. So long as her best friends were happy together...then she'd be happy...right? "That...I mean it..." She stammered, swallowing. "You don't have to do or say anything if it makes you uncomfortable. I know I must be being nosy..."

"No! No, you aren't being nosy. You're my friend, so I understand why you're telling me this." Willownose quickly reassured, not wanting to make Redspring feel guilty or regretful. "I just... do you think I should talk to him?" The idea made her more nervous than she had felt in a long time. The normally confident she-cat had no problems hunting or fighting, but confessing feelings was another story.

Redspring swallowed, hating that she wanted nothing more than to both support and deny Willownose in the chance to be with Ashfeather. Would they leave her behind if they did get together? Would she be able to support them both while stewing in her own confusing feelings? She looked at Willownose for a long time, and felt deep down that she knew that their happiness meant more to her than her own.

Willownose let out a long sigh. She knew Redspring was right, deep down, but right now she wanted nothing more than to shake her head and ignore her feelings. "I just don't know. I feel like I'd mess it up, or make him not want to spend time with us anymore, or..." her tail twitched in annoyance. Why was she being such a coward?

I feel like I'd mess it up, or make him not want to spend time with us anymore, or..." her tail twitched in annoyance. Why was she being such a coward? ' I know how you feel.' Redspring thought to herself, wanting nothing more than to blurt the words out to the cat she had been closest to in her entire life, besides her own brother of course. She brushed her shoulder against Willownose's in comfort, offering the best she could as she buried the ache in her heart. "If he's the kind of cat we know he is, then he'd be better than to push you away completely if he doesn't return the feelings. No matter what, we're all friends. I'll cuff some sense into him if he acts like a mousebrain." She promised.

"I guess you're right. Everyone knows not to mess with us." Willownose smiled, feeling her anxiety begin to fade away. "I'll talk to him later today when I see him. Then I can tell you how it goes." she promised. "And... I'm glad you're my best friend. Even if we become mates, I won't let it get in the way of our friendship. I promise that on my life."

Then I can tell you how it goes." she promised. "And... I'm glad you're my best friend. Even if we become mates, I won't let it get in the way of our friendship. I promise that on my life." (an oof for Redspring) Redspring knew she was supposed to feel comforted by Willownose's words, but the intensity of the ache in her chest surprised even her. The thought of her being mates with Ashfeather stung. It stung, but Redspring felt a rush of guilt that it stung because she wanted to be Ashfeather...Starclan, she wanted to be Willownose? She wanted...She wanted, didn't she? She blinked in realization, and pain thumped in her chest. She wanted them both. She wanted Willownose to want her like she wanted Ashfeather. She wanted to be the one to tell Ashfeather how much she had come to care for him. She wanted both of their nests, both of their care. She wanted them both, but she knew that it surely couldn't be that way, could it? Well...surely at least Willownose and Ashfeather didn't feel that way for her. She would be their best friend, nothing more, surely? Not every relationship could be like Whitesun, Jadefather and Obsidianheart's...when the former deputy had been alive, of course. They had all loved eachother so openly, so perfectly, it wasn't...it wasn't fair! Redspring forced back the whine in her throat, refusing to let her emotions dictate her. She needed to support Willownose, even if she would only be her best friend. "I know." She purred, covering up her choked up throat. "I know that it won't get in the way. I'll always support you...both of you. You deserve it, Willownose."

"Thank you." Willownose brushed her head against Redspring's shoulder, unaware of what the other she-cat was feeling inside. "And I will always support you as well." She stepped back, shaking her pelt. "Now... I should probably find Ashfeather." That was her next challenge. She knew the apprentices needed to be trained, so maybe it would have to wait...

"I know you will. What are best friends for?" Redspring nodded, the knot in her throat threatening to choke her. She averted her eyes, acting as though she was just looking around as she offered. "I could take our apprentices out to learn camp materials and collecting methods if you want time to speak to Ashfeather..." She offered, though inwardly she wanted nothing more than to train their apprentices together at once.

Willownose wasn't so sure of the idea. She didn't really want to bring the apprentices into the situation just in case it went wrong. "Maybe I should wait. I could ask Ashfeather if he's taken Weaselpaw out yet. Though it would benefit the apprentices if we did some one-on-one training..."

I just want you to be your happiest.” She admitted.

This was one of my favorite lessons when I was your age. My mentor was kind of slender, so it was hard to land properly on him, but I got the hang of it quickly. I bet you will too.” Buzzardfall sighed fondly at the memory, before she lifted her chin and started for one of the cliff edges near the camp entrance. “Alright! Remember your climbing lessons? Scurry on up that ledge and listen to my words!”

I nearly hurt myself goofing off. My mentor was patient though, so I’m going to be patient for you too, no matter what.” She turned so her back was to Firepaw. “Okay. I want you to focus on your accuracy. Your attack does nothing if you land wrong or you miss entirely. Keep your eyes on where you want to land, not where you’re currently leaping. Spring your muscles up in your hind legs.”

He felt a slight trill of nervousness surge through him but he quickly pushed it down, “Alright, I’m ready.” He said, “I can just go anytime right?”

Ashfeather sat up on a ledge on the cliff near camp, surveying the forest around him. He sighed happily, allowing the cool newleaf breeze make its way through his thick fur. Putting his head on his paws, he thought about his sister and her kits, wondering if he would ever have kits of his own. He frowned as he couldn't picture who would stand beside him and raise the kits? Willownose? Redspring? He grumbled quietly as a debate swirled in his mind, he really needed to figure out his feelings.

Buzzardfall encouraged, squaring her shoulders and bracing her stance to be able to support Firepaw's weight when it came.

Redspring's whiskers twitched as she let humored sarcasm cross her lips. "Starclan themselves will throw everything at you to prevent you from telling Ashfeather that you just might fancy him. Though, you're not wrong. My ideal time spent with a mate would be side by side in combat..." She cut off, coughing a bit. "If I ever had one, of course..."

Willownose wasn't sure what to say about that. She didn't know of any cat in the Clan that had eyes on Redspring, nor did she know of anyone the she-cat herself was interested in. She did know that it would be easy for her to hurt her feelings considering everything they had just talked about. "I can see you fighting side-by-side with someone in battle. Anyone would be lucky to have you... if they can get through me first." she joked. Suddenly Ashfeather's scent hit her, and she glanced around, wondering where he was. Did he hear their conversation?
