(Actually πΌπ²π΅πΏ My exiled character Ripley is the Champion of Set and I completely approve of this rivalry :3) One more thing! This reminds me, if anyone has any relationships at all, let me know. I'm good with any relationships with my characters within reason. Like if we, for example, wanted Theodore and Luka or Chiara and Luka to be rivals or whatnot (just an example based on their Guides, Balder, Loki, and Heimdallr), we can totally do that. Just let me know! I've already gotten Lucien and River added, and also Ariella and Griffin.)

(So okay, I think Chiara and Luka could maybe be rivals? Iβm not sure if itβs in Chiaraβs nature but I certainly know Heimdallr isnβt exactly a Loki fan. It might be fun to see where it goes with those two characters if we just wait and see how their relationship develops
I will also suggest the following potential rivals for the Greek pantheon based on what I know about the gods
Hera, Athena and Aphrodite - because of the Golden Apple situation Here and Zeus - because Hera is not a fan of Zeus cheating on her all the time Aphrodite and Persephone - because of the stuff with Adonis Artemis and Aphrodite - because of Adonis and Hippolytus. And because Artemis is all about chastity and Aphrodite... isnβt. Hephaestus and Ares - because of Aphrodite
Of course we donβt have to do all of them or even any of them but these are just fun ideas)

(Oh, but imagine Guinevere, Dillon, and Kita just either being super chill, or just avoiding one another. Same thing with Dillon and Irene.
I mean, I was about to add the gods, but that list was going to take so long so I just stopped, deleted it all, and was like not today so thanks for compiling that! I'll probably add it tomorrow.)

When Griffin responded to Guinevere saying she didnβt know what lΓ’ches meant, the drunk Laurie obviously decided that was an opportunity to jump in.
βIt means, uh, en anglais, cowards.β he explained
It was nice to hear someone else speaking his native language, and so he offered Guinevere a smile.
βHonestly, I could use a coffee too, I really need to sober up.β
Lucien had shot a glare at Laurie when he had defined the word lΓ’ches, but Laurie just held up his hands and shrugged. It wasnβt him that had said it after all, it was Guinevere. Not that she wasnβt kind of right.
The whole fighting situation between River and Lucien seemed to stop with the intervention of the others, though he couldnβt help but smile about Lukaβs conversation about Americans.
βDamn AmΓ©ricains,β Laurie agreed
In response to Lukaβs words, Lucien narrowed his eyes, shooting her a glare.
βI think if you saw the other guy you wouldnβt be assuming I lost,β Lucien smirked before turning his gaze to Irene βApollo was posing as a cop too. What the hell is up with that?β
Naidaβs intervention caught everybodyβs attention, including Laurieβs. She seemed very good at getting everybody to stop being chaotic assholes, which was a nice quality to have in someone in a group like this.
βThe loud water girl is right,β Laurie agreed βand you guys are giving me a headache so if you could...not...Iβd appreciate it.β
βThank you, Naida.β Chiara sighed βif everyone is quite done with the yelling, panicking, and general chaos, we should probably start figuring out this whole situation and how weβre going to deal with it.β
βββββ
βYeah, I understand that.β Dillon nodded βitβs a lot to process. I was just at a wedding and didnβt even get to eat my food from the buffet so Iβm a little disoriented right now.β
Okay, well that little joke wasnβt helping anybody. Dillon was trying his best to be comforting but it wasnβt the easiest when he didnβt even know this boy.
βIf it helps, weβre all in the same boat right now. Scared, a little overwhelmed. But the way I see it, weβre all here now and going through the same thing. So we can look after one another. Like... like...β
βA family.β Hera finished, almost with a hint of smugness in her voice
βA family.β

Luka Ravana || Echo Deirdre || Lorenzo Alexander || Clementine Lester || Guinevere Sharpe
A sigh of annoyance crossed Luka's lips, bloody Americans took everything personally. She grew up in Australia, where people's insults were a compliment rather than a strike to your ego. Where you were more concerned with survival because everything wanted you dead than about a silly tiny blow to your ego. She was quite glad when Naida did her whole splash splash shebang. But for some reason, she backed up, like it was an instinct, the fire in her veins acted like a warning. Water, water can kill. Water will temper a flame.
"You are all just accepting this? This kind of stuff doesn't happen! Okay?" Clementine snapped at Naida, taking a leering step towards her with a scowl on their face, "Be sane about it! There's a much better explanation than oh lookie, the gods think I'm cool and now I'm like them!"
"Oh, look at the pretty water!" Was all Lorenzo gave as a response. However, the outburst from Naida had a different effect on the shaking mess in the corner of the room, who erupted into panic, falling to the floor, covering her ears, with strangled gasps escaping her and tears in her eyes.
"Frenchboy is right," Guinevere supplied with a shrug, talking about the insult of cowardice.
Luka watched, frowning slightly in her annoyance, everyone was just crying and whining and being stupid and drunk and loud and-oh. she was never good at comforting people or really caring, so she just glared back at the group. This was just bloody annoying.
"This is already a blast! Look at them, floundering for order , now is the perfect chance to strike, Luka. Cause some mischief, make-"
"A plan," Luka uttered it softly, watching Naida for a moment, even if she had backed up. Her annoyance was bubbling like the pain deep set now in her bones, Loki decided to throw her off stairs and surely he was to blame for the reason everything in her body felt like it was wrong, and he just gave her a method of bloody revenge. "Groups never make it far without a bloody leader, without leadership, right?" Luka practically sneered the words, while Loki was now fuming, she could tell, as she let a smirk fall on her lips, "Everyone is bloody stressed-"
"And hungry!" Lorenzo chirped, smiling ear to ear.
"So why don't we all simmer down? Go off, explore," Exploring always calmed her down, "Learn how to stop being bloody thorns in my side, and come back for dinner?"
"What about your little leadership idea?" Clementine huffed, crossing their arms, the idea of order was enticing, to say the least, clearly they liked Naida and Irene the most so far, deciding to place themselves near the two realistic girls, "It's not fair to just have one leader, they won't represent everyone fairly."
It was a mixture of Ma'at and their thoughts, which was a bit shocking to them.
"Then I dunno, maybe do 3 or bloody 5, I don't bloody care how we do it. Just think about people you lik-can tolerate so far-"
"And nominate them?" Guinevere supplied, arms crossed over her chest as she practically towered over Luka.
"Yeah, why the bloody hell not? Then we can pick them, and tada, problems solved." Technically, that was only a starting point, but now Luka was just in pain, something deep into her bones that just hurt, and she wasn't in the mood for these bloody Americans and drunk people anymore. "So we scatter, get time to our-bloody-selves so we're not driven to an early grave because of idiots, meet back here and regroup in a few hours, yeah? Or can you bloody delinquents not behave if the bloody police aren't around? I know you apparently can't behave even when they are."
"Can I go get my coffee now?" Guinevere commented, disinterested still. Regardless, she looked at Laurie and Griffin, shrugged, and pondered off, her looks enough were invitation to follow if they pleased.
"I'll go fix spaghetti!" Without another word, Lorenzo pondered aimlessly out of the room, in the complete opposite direction of the kitchen, not like he knew it though.

Clementineβs comment about there being an explanation prompted a shrug from the young champion of Dionysus.
βHonestly, I donβt see a better explanation,β Laurie shrugged βEven I can see that weβre all from different countries, and then suddenly weβre here. Drugs or... comment Γ§a se dit en anglais...panique collective... mass hysteria, they canβt do that. If you have a better explanation for this and that whole hologram thing we just saw then please do venture oneβ
Laurie hadnβt grown up knowing anyone who spoke English as their native language, but heβd learned a bit of it in school and his area of France had a not insignificant Anglophone population. Plus, ever since he was young heβd wanted to pursue acting, maybe even move to America to do that. Heβd learned English to help him do that, and he liked to consider himself pretty fluent. He even knew how to talk relatively naturally in the language and use slang properly from watching television and videos on the internet and even listening to podcasts. That was how, even drunk, he wasnβt doing too bad at speaking in the language. He had to grasp for the words on occasion, but mostly he was okay. Of course, he could speak English far better than he could read or write it. Sadly the acting thing had never worked out.
He listened with interest to the plan Luka suggested, and in response gave a nod.
βThat all sounds good to me.β he replied
He figured he might as well actually go and get that coffee. He was already feeling himself start to sober up at this point but a coffee couldnβt hurt. Well, the idea seemed to cause Dionysus physical pain, the god didnβt seem best pleased about the idea of Laurie being sober, but the man just chose to ignore his guide.
Instead it seemed that Guinevere, Ariella and Griffin were getting coffee and honestly Laurie didnβt hate the idea of some company right now. So he followed the group with a smile, catching up with them all.
He really needed this. Not only was he still a little drunk, but he really had no idea what time it had been in Bordeaux when all this happened

This whole situation seemed crazy, but Lucien? He didnβt know what to believe at this point. He didnβt know if he really believed the gods were real, but it was true that there werenβt really any better explanations for it right now.
Still, he needed some time to think, that was why he took Lukaβs suggestion gladly.
βFine,β the teenager agreed
As the rest of the group left, he decided he could do with some time on his own to explore the house. So he did, leaving the room and wandering around the maze of a building and up a staircase, walking until he found himself on a corridor.
βThe bedrooms,β said Apolloβs voice
βYes, thank you, Iβve guessed as much.β Lucien responded βbut which oneβs mine?β
He walked down the corridor a ways, passing doors with different emblems on them. A strange golden horn for Heimdallr. Lucien has heard of that horn before but couldnβt remember the name. Gjallarhorn? Maybe. Further down, a bunch of grapes and a wine-glass for Dionysus. A pair of winged sandals for Hermes.
Finally he stopped in front of a door closer to the end of the corridor. Its symbol was a lyre painted in gold, very similar to one of the tattoos Apollo had in his human form. Lucien wondered if this room was his.
βWell itβs not the angry Australianβs room, now is it? So I say give it a try.β
Lucien rolled his eyes but tried the door to find that it did, in fact, open. There was a door stop to prop the door open so Lucien did so, just so he could hear when it sounded like everybody was heading to get food later on.
The room was pretty good; Apollo had clearly made an effort to try and decorate it to both Lucien and Apolloβs tastes. The wallpaper was a matte black colour, but when the light hit it it revealed a pattern of suns. The colour scheme in general seemed to be black and gold. Lucien couldnβt say he was a particular fan of gold, but hey, this was Apolloβs room too and Lucien was aware that putting black in the room had probably physically pained the god. In general it was simple, without too much pattern.
It had everything Lucien needed; bookshelves, a desk. There was a beautiful skylight on the ceiling, which he imagined was something Apollo had specifically wanted. The books on the shelves were clearly chosen by Apollo too; a lot of them were about poetry, music, medicine. But there were also some more normal books there, a lot of classic authors. Lucien didnβt read much, but they looked like good books. Apollo had even decorated the place with some posters and stuff.
Lucien noticed a bow and quiver of arrows displayed carefully in one corner of the room. Both seemed to be made of a rich, dark wood, and the feathers of the arrows were golden in colour. There was no target in here, of course, and Lucien didnβt know how to fire a bow and arrow. But he imagined in a place like this there had to be a training room, and heβd learn how to fire a bow and arrow somehow.
βIβll teach you,β Apollo assured him
But what pleased the seventeen-year-old more than anything was the guitar that sat on a stand next to the wardrobe. Lucien had found an old battered guitar of his fatherβs when he was around ten years old and heβd patched it up himself so it still kind of worked. It hadnβt been that damaged, anyway, and it had been a way for Lucien to learn an instrument without spending the money to buy one. It had lasted all this time afterwards, and now Apollo had brought that very same guitar from Lucienβs house.
βI know how important their instrument is a to a musician, trust me,β Apollo began βI would never have replaced it.β
If Lucien were the crying sort, he would have used that moment to cry. It was so comforting to see something from home here, the very same instrument heβd been playing for years.
But as it was he picked it up with a smile and sat on one of the (admittedly rather comfortable) chairs and began to strum.
It was perfect.

Chiara was glad the whole situation with the group sorted itself out; thanks to Luka, everyone headed off to do their own thing until it was time to get food and elect the leaders of the group. Which again, Chiara thought was a good idea.
Once everybody left, she decided she should stay and make sure Echo was alright, and Jason if she could. She didnβt have much interest yet in exploring the house, she still had a lot to process and honestly there was plenty of time for exploring Pantheon.
She didnβt know which of the two to talk to first. Echo already had River talking to her, but she had heard Jason saying he wanted to think for a little bit, so with that in mind she figured it was probably best to give him some alone time for a little.
That being said, Chiara turned her attention to Echo first, stopping a safe distance from the girl in the same way River had done. No point in frightening the poor girl any further.
βHey,β she greeted βare you alright? I know this is all pretty freaky, huh?β
It was only in the quiet moments in the aftermath of the chaos that Chiara realised quite how loud it had been in there before. Plus, was it just her or were the colours extra bright around here? Everything was clear and crisp, as if she was suddenly seeing in HD when she hadnβt been before.
Was that happening to everyone, or just her?
βEveryone was so loud,β she said βLike, extra loud. Or maybe itβs just the acoustics of this room.β
It had to be, because people even seemed too loud now. Or maybe it was just her.

Lukaβs whole plan had gone down well with Lane too, who just wanted to explore the house a little. She strangely found herself itching to move and exercise; it was a feeling sheβd often had normally, but this time it felt more intense than usual.
So as soon as everyone headed off, Lane had said something vague about how she was going to explore the place and that if people needed her they could come and find her, and headed out to explore the house.
It didnβt take her long to find the gym and training rooms, and even less time for Lane to decide to go on the treadmills. After all, she was still in her running gear, and her last run had been kind of interrupted. And then she could find her room and take a shower before it was time to rejoin the group.
So it wasnβt long before she was on a treadmill, going at a comfortable jogging speed. This was okay, this was good.
βSo...β
The sudden male voice speaking in her head had been enough of a shock to almost make Lane trip on the treadmill, which wouldβve been embarrassing enough in itself. But it was a voice she recognised.
βWoah, man, you canβt just do that, youβre going to give me a heart attack.β Lane gasped
βWe need to talk,β said Hermes, obviously choosing to ignore what Lane had just said βWeβve got a problem. Hades has a champion here. I assumed he would, but this complicates things a little.β
βHow so?β
βBy Heracles, girl, keep up!β shot back Hermes βif Hades finds out that I saved you from dying weβre both in trouble. I told you, he hates having souls taken from him. He might already know, and if he doesnβt itβs only a matter of time. If he realises, heβs going to want your soul.β
βRight, so what am I supposed to do?β asked Lane
βKeep a low profile, try not to draw the attention of Hades or his champion. And in the name of all that is good and holy donβt mention your little near-death experience to anyone.β
βWhat? But near death experiences are cool! I canβt even mention it to one person?β
βNope, nada, zip, zilch. That is, if you want to avoid Hades taking your soul and you spending eternity in the underworld.β
Lane didnβt reply to that one, since it was pretty clear that she did indeed want that. Instead, she turned the treadmillβs speed up a notch.
βMore, turn it up higher,β Hermes urged
Lane obeyed, but every time she did Hermes told her to turn it up higher and higher. It was after a few minutes of this that she realised she was running on a must faster setting than sheβd ever done before, and comfortably too. How was she running so fast? It certainly wasnβt the fastest sheβd ever seen anyone run but it was the fastest sheβd ever run. How was it possible?
βBecause of me,β she heard Hermes say βand trust me, this is only the beginning of what you can do.β

Pascal listened to Dillon speak, giving the other boy a pretty serious expression when he replied, βMaybe you should eat something. It could be low blood sugar if youβre feeling that way after not getting food for a while.β
Clearly, the joke sailed over his head.
βIt seems that way, doesnβt it?β He said when Dillon mentioned them being in the same situation. Though, his expression seemed to blanken at the mention of them being like family. He looked back at the wall.
βIt seems a bit soon to be using βfamilyβ.β He replied in a manner-of-fact tone. βThis is our first time meeting each other, and I doubt most people would even use the term βfriendsβ either.β
(Yeah, Pascal just doesnβt understand jokes XD)
--------------------------------------------------------
Theo seemed to noticeably perk up at the suggestion of leadership. It was going to be left up to a vote, so this was his moment in the spotlight.
He could picture it, the other kids looking up to him for guidance as he mandated his next order on a throne made of golden coins.
Of course, he was never actually in a position of leadership before. He just assumed thatβs what it was like. This was the perfect chance at a new life for him, to be idolized and adored by many. There was no way for him to be ignored or rejected.
Being ignored and rejectedβ¦..
Theo shook his head, knowing it wasnβt a good place to think about such things. He had better things to do, like convincing people that he was fit for leadership. He watched as a group of people headed off to go get coffee.
He figured it would be good to start with them, so he smoothed out his hair and followed them as well βI could definitely use some coffee, Iβm parchedβ
(Theo straight up trying sell himself as the leader everyone should vote for, only for people to give him negative votes for being so smug about it)
-----------------------------------------------------
Irene saw the group of kids splintering off and let out a sigh of relief. She wasnβt fond of large crowds, and would much rather sit around and relax. There were still a couple people in the room: The one boy who seemed to have gone blind, another girl who seemed to also be freaking out in the corner of the room, and two other people who tried to console her. Another boy had run off a while ago, followed by someone else.
Sure, she could go elsewhere and get food or coffee, but she felt that she just had to be here and at least make sure they were okay. It was the least she could do anyway.
Irene calmly walked over to the couch where the one boy was situated. She didnβt know if she was being intrusive, but she went ahead and asked βHey, is it okay for me to sit here too?β
(Also rip Lane is probably going to be paranoid about being around Pascal and Pascal's just going to be confused)

Echo Deirdre || Clementine Lester
Echo remembered watching the bodies fall in the dark, she didn't like the dark, it was scary, and was when everything bad happened. So when she spotted a shadow fall over the ground before her, she froze. Though she seemed to tense for a moment, staring up at River with tears rolling down her cheeks, then staring at Chiara.
She opened her mouth, trying to force her fear and discomfort away, but her mind blocked the words from getting out, so she clamped her mouth shut, nodded, and curled up more. Though she looked at Chiara with a confused expression when the girl mentioned the loudness in the room.
"She's not mute, but I think she's in shock or something, can't speak because of it," Clementine commented, finding nothing better to do, and so settling with walking up behind River and Chiara. Their eyes were narrowed in irritation, but they seemed to calm a bit once the crowd was gone.
Echo, finding no other way to properly communicate, simply nodded along with their presumption, wiping tears from her face. She felt embarrassed, to a degree, like she had burdened them. But she seemed appreciative, offering a sad smile. She was obviously frightened, but it seemed that she had a well management on her panic attacks, possibly from them being quite frequent. Still, tears rolled down her cheeks, much to chagrin, and her breaths still came in rapid succession, it was oddly quiet, however.

Lorenzo Alexander || Guinevere Sharpe
Guinevere nodded at all the people who decided to come with her. All of them seemed chill, and not that annoying. Fun people, it seemed, that weren't complete idiots like the kids earlier.
Guinevere had no idea why people had to be so annoying, but still, she kind of didn't care.
"There's a place for your hot beverages near the kitchen," Aphrodite seemed to be guiding her, sounding as confident and annoyed as ever, "I have no idea why you insist on such silly delights, however."
"Aphrodite says there is apparently an entire cafΓ© dans la maison," She switched into French quite easily, looking at Laurie for a bare moment, smirking a bit, "C'est drΓ΄le parce qu'ils ne nous comprennent pas."
As Thedore, Ariella, and Laurie caught up, Guinevere simply led the group as Aphrodite listed off directions to her. Up that grand staircase in which Luka had earlier been dropped down, then a right, and then you got into this large dining hall, and true to form, there was a little CafΓ© with an outdoor awning and chairs. In the kitchenette, Lorenzo was quick to work on food. If Guinevere had to hazard a guess, with the amount of effort the kid was putting in to culinary skills and his physical features as well, he might have been Italian.
She shrugged off the irony, pondering into the cafΓ©, and getting to work on making herself a nice macchiato. "So, are all of us just sad pathetic people who didn't have lives, or was that just me?" she commented, stirring her steamed milk into her macchiato, a tired look work over her eyes. Once she finished making it, she tipped her head down, gulping down the steaming beverage in one go, before setting to make another one.

(Here's a Seely starter!)
Seely Kaase Champion of Sekhmet
The last couple hours had sent Seely reeling. She had been on the streets of Munich. Just finishing scrounging for final bits of change to afford groceries to bring back to the group home for those who had missed the last couple meals. Being older and still living at the group home, Seely took it upon herself to do these things. She knew the younger children were too vulnerable and too weak to be able to go out into the city like she could. So, this was usually a weekly routine for her. Find the touristy locations, locate any change or loose bills she could, and buy what small amount of non-perishable items she could then afford. However, today had been different, in an instant things were drastically thrown off their normal course. Though truthfully longer than an "instant" that's what it felt like to Seely. "Hello" greeted a smooth, warm voice. Seely looked up from the bench she was counting her change on to meet the gaze of a tall and athletic looking women. Tanned caramel skin, deep brown hair that was nearly black, and distinct nearly feline features. Seely arched a brow but, nodded in greeting, "Hallo" she responded lightly, her Bavarian German accent, common in her home city, a little more lilting and gentle than the normal German. "What are you doing out here?" the stranger inquired as she settled on the bench next to Seely. The smells of myrhh and cinnamon wafting to meet Seely's nose. Seely paused for a moment before responding with a light sigh and a little bit of a sad smile on her lips, "Just looking for some change." her hands wrapping around the pile of money in her hands before she shook her head gently, "And you?" The woman smiled in response, "I'm looking for someone. Tell me dear, have you ever gotten into a fight?" A bit taken aback by the question Seely shook her head, "I can't afford to do that." her response was simple, though the grip around her money tightened just a bit. The stranger noticed and smiled once more. "Do you wish to fight though?" Seely arched a brow and stood then, "No, I can't do that." It was then the woman's nature seemed to change and she rose as well, "But, you do. I see that fire. I can smell it on you." Her eyes met Seely's and she smirked. "You will learn to fight my dear, you will feel that rage I can see in you." A bit of fear rose up in Seely then and she shook her head, "No, I don't need that. Thank you though." With that she tried to move past this woman but, to no avail. "My dear I will teach you, you will learn, and that rage you hold, deep deep down inside you will come forward. It will be terrifying, it will hurt, but it will bring great power and I will show you how to wield it. Now, what is your name, sweet?" Something moved deep in Seely's heart then and she stopped and looked to the woman, "Seely Kaase." "And I am Sekhmet, I have chosen you and we will accomplish greatness together in the name of my father and my will." Sekhmet's hand took Seely's then and a wave of sickness and darkness washed over her. Her head split with pain and she felt herself pushed forward and fall. Though she didn't hit the ground, she kept falling and falling. "Prepare yourself dear, brace for the impact and meet your new home" Somehow, Seely managed to get her hands out in front of her and her feet slammed to the ground. She managed to take some steps forward before slamming into a wall and collapsing to her knees. Her breathing was sharp, as if she'd just run miles and miles. Slowly she brought her forehead forward and rested it against the stone wall before her, just trying to settle herself and having not taken in the surroundings she'd found herself in yet.

Luka Ravana
Luka was surprised that people had well, listened to her. Back in Australia (no, not home, home was comfort and love), Luka never really had a voice, then again, she had no reason to have one. Sure, she would talk to her mates and such, but nothing quite to such an extent.
"Are you going to stand there all day or are you actually going to do something?" Loki questioned, and if he had an appearance, she just knew he would be rolling his eyes and making rude gestures at her.
That was fair, she did go on a tangent about people doing whatever, she just hadn't actually thought out what she herself wanted to do. Of course she wanted to explore, and write it all down in her journal. The again, she dropped her bag and everything when he started acting like a rampant kidnapper.
Shrugging, she watched as River and Chiara took to echo, and the Coffee mates, Coffeemates? As the coffee gang walked off to go drink highly overrated caffeinated beverages. So she just follow in the direction the kid her age did. She pondered, glancing at the emblems on the door. One had a golden lyre, probably Lucien's since she didn't see him anymore.
She walked past it, taking note of a sun disk on one door, Helios' kid? One had a weird golden apple and dove painted on. Another had the symbol of libra on it, with a feather one one side. One of the others had two golden wings, with what appeared to be a crescent moon behind it. Finally, she came upon one that cause her to stop.
The emblem had two snakes that circled one another, seeming to make an 'S', and they seemed to have fire in their eyes, matching red eyes for both that seemed to be rubies. "Home sweet home," was all that Loki said, but he seemed to have an excited thrill to his voice.
That alone spooked her. Regardless, the door opened to ease, giving way to a strange sight. Some darkened vines, it seemed, climbed up the walls in deliberate manners, leading to hedges and all kinds of comfortable niches. It almost seemed more like a giant cat-tree more than it did a room. It had a bed, of course, that seemed to have blue and red sheets that seemed to have the vinelike details. All in all, it reminded Luka much of Mount Gambien and much larger than any room she had ever had the ability to live in. There was even a large window, higher up near the ceiling, that had blankets all nestled about.
She was gaping, she was sure, so she pondered over towards a desk in the other corner of the room, where a strange firepit was, with flames coming to life, giving off an alluring glow. It was honestly horrifying and yet oddly serene, especially with the overall darkness the room had, only with a small amount of lighting, and yet, she could see so well.
Her hands skimmed the contents on the desk. Her bag was there, with the journals inside, though it wasn't as striking as the black umbrella that lay beside it. She gingerly picked it up, noticing the odd green snake designs it bore on the handle.
"These are bloody weird designs," She chuckled, wincing at the pain that seemed to get worse, she was almost sure something was broken.
"If you think those are weird, you should see your wrist." She looked down at her right wrist, and spotted something moving. She dropped the umbrella, a startled noise escaping her as she tried to get as far from her, well, wrist as possible. On it was a tattoo, it seemed, of a snake, one that was circling her wrist, before settling.
"What was-" She didn't finish, a startled cry escaping her throat as the burning set in again, she fell to the floor, writhing. She couldn't even scream, or if she did, she surely didn't notice it beyond the white searing pain.
"Oh yeah," Loki hummed, he sounded distant though, "You're mortal, your body won't be used to this yet, so this might hurt a bit."
"A bloody bit!?" She ground out, though it seemed, as she felt her nerves grate against one another, that it was fading. Once it died down, and she continued to lay for multiple moments, tired and bloody exhausted, she went to lean up. To hold her head.
That was not her hand.
Her eyes flung open, catching sight of not a hand at all, but darkened scales with a almost blue sheen, with red scales under it. Panic immediately filled her heart because bloody hell that's a red-bellied black snake and they're highly venomous.
That is, until her panic set in because she realized she was the highly venomous red-bellied black snake.

Eydan | Kita | Sanna
Each of the others had more or less similar experiences with the Choosing. Eydan had been met in a park in his hometown in Montreal. Kita on the street outside her "home" in the Russian city of Tomsk. Finally Sanna near the markets in Toulouse. When brought to the Pantheon, Eydan found himself at the foot of a staircase, landing hard on his back, though managing not to sustain a concussion somehow. Kita was simply thrust to the floor, not having been able to catch her balance or manage to land on her feet. While Sanna had rolled to the ground and slammed back-first into a wall as well.
Eydan took quick work to look around and take in his surroundings, asking Horus questions right away about what he was to do and where he was to go. Horus talked in through this new home, assuring him that here he may find family and enjoyment. He wouldn't have the need to be selfish and hoard his foods and goods to himself. Eydan blushed lightly and rubbed the back of his neck. "So, that's something new for sure then huh?" Eydan sighed and laughed happily, nodding to Horus, trusting that perhaps this was a good choice (though in the back of his mind he was rather sure he'd just been drugged and was hallucinating this all).
Kita on the other hand was timid, slow to rise and needed immediate coaxing from Athena that it was safe here. She would be safe finally. A shiver ran down Kita's spine and she shook her head. Remaining on the floor and trying to make sense of this all seemed like a better idea right now than daring to look up. She figured that perhaps she'd just been knocked out again and was back in the dingy basement room that was deemed her "bedroom". Perhaps she'd sat outside too long and had gotten dragged back inside. Once more that gentle, all-knowing voice came to reassure her and something deep inside Kita pushed her to look up. Slowly, Kita's eyes rose from the tile floor to her surroundings.
Sanna's annoyance with Hephaestus' choices were immediate and she huffed. "That's funny to you?" in her head she could hear Hephaestus' laugh echoing and she cursed him out. A small scolding before he instructed her on what to do. Urging her to make some friends, something she'd thoroughly avoided in her later teens. "So, what's this? You kidnap me and then toss me to some strange place?" Hephaestus gave a heavy sigh, "You really don't know how to enjoy anything, guess that's just something we'll work on." With that Sanna's head fell silent and she looked around. Slowly bringing herself to her feet. Her sharp eyes taking everything in and her body language clearly indicating her edge and caution.
