Minsy gritted her teeth together, allowing her arms to relax enough to bring the bow down from a full draw. She slowly and begrudgingly lowered her bow, the arrow tip now focused on the dirt below rather than the rider in the sky. "I really hope he decides to make the wrong move. I would love to send more arrows in to his hideous beast and then his face right afterwards." She narrowed her eyes as she stared at the rider like he was some sort of prey

Sorry for the wait! Omens are very hard to come up with xD]]
The rider watched the group and the rangers directly below and hovered in place until each individual had lowered his or her weapon. He waited even longer beyond that, even, before his scaly steed reared up and then dove through the air toward the trio. The fell beast came to a hover once more a couple stories in the air above them, its rider's eyes glaring down at them from the shadows beneath his helmet. "Today I was only meant to play the messenger," he said. "My recipient? You, Gondor, and all the kingdoms of men."
"I find that difficult to believe, seeing your actions here today. Not to mention bringing two fell beasts with you," Teonvan growled.
The rider ignored Teonvan's arguing, seeming to stare straight past the man. "These pesky rangers impeded my journey, but it appears luck is on my side. My audience has brought them selves to me personally." He let out a chuckle, the sun glinting off the golden accents on his armor. "I have but one message from my liege and I will only speak it once, so listen well--- The stars have cast their light from this land and the mighty chains have broken. The world shall live in eternal night once the Lord of All resumes his throne."

Minsy felt her heart drop in to her stomach seeing the man and the fell beast up so close. She struggled to keep her face firm in order to avoid betraying any sign of weakness or fear in front of not only the enemy but also her comrades. She rolled her eyes at his words. "Come on, puzzles and ominous wording is the best that you can do? Why not just tell us who you're in leagues with, foul beast rider?" Minsy's voice held firm.

Mickey Mouse the 3rd: I have a starter on the previous page with my wizard Melia in Minas Tirith if ya want, or I could throw in a couple other characters with yours!]] Earwen backed her horse up a few steps, but kept her grip firm on her bow. She was focusing more on the words the man had spoken than the situation now, hardly even hearing Minsy beside her. Chains? Lord of All? What was he talking about? Teonvan glanced at Minsy. He couldn't have said his thoughts any better. His eyes drifted to the captured rangers, their eyes giving away their fear amidst their otherwise stoic expressions. The rider gave a mocking laugh. "This is the message I was sent to deliver and that is all," he replied. "Speaking any more on the matter would ruin my master's amusement. It will be far too entertaining to watch you all squirm beneath these words of foreboding." As the man finished speaking, a subtle sizzling sound reached their ears. Teonvan turned around to see the fallen fell beast surrounded in some kind of dark haze. Its scales appeared to be slowly burning to ash carried into the air by the eastward wind. Soon the entire beast had been turned to dust. "What is going on--" he whirled back around to face the rider, only to find it gone. Rider, steed, even the rangers. Gone.

Minsy rubbed her eyes to clear them, confirming what she saw was no mere trick of dust that may have fallen in to her eyes. She turned around at the same time as Teonvan, also noticing the sudden disappearance. She clenched her jaw to prevent her mouth from dropping. There was no way no many could have just vanished so quickly without making a sound. It just didn't make sense. "Where did they all go?" She gasped, voicing once unspoken thoughts

Heo and Lai arrived at Minas Trith.
Heo grinned as he saw the place. He made it. He looked over and found a Maiar, he supposed that is what she was. "Hello, My name is Heo Berai, we are new around these parts, and um, pleased to meet you." He smiled at the woman.
Lai looked over at Heo. Did Heo actually trust her?! She thought. She looked at the woman with an untrustful glance. "My name is Lai Xero," She motioned her head to Heo. "I'm with him." She said, telling her that she and Heo traveled together, and that she was on Heo's side.

Earwen and Teonvan both were staring in disbelief as well. "Do you think it was Mordor?" Earwen asked, glancing to her friends. It was the most logical train of thought for her, having experienced the evil of that land herself. "That had to be some kind of black magic as well... even the one we killed disappeared..." she murmured, thinking out loud.
~~~
Melia blinked, a bit startled to be shaken from her thoughts by the sudden voice beside her. She turned to the two newcomers and put on a bright smile, nodding to each in turn. "Heo Berai and Lai Xero, was it? A pleasure to meet you as well. Welcome to Minas Tirith," she greeted them. "Should you have any questions or concerns and you happen to see me wandering around, do feel free to approach me. Otherwise, the knights of the royal guard are also quite friendly."
Minsy curled in lip in utter disgust and contempt. It had been a long time since any sort of black magic had taken up in Morder and she rather liked it like that. The thought of a new evil rising was a truly bitter one. "Where else does darkness like to stick footholds?" She sighed
Sorry for the late reply! I've been creating a new dnd PC and kinda got distracted... xD]]
"Then I suppose we have our next mission - checking out Mordor," Earwen said with a nod in agreement to Minsy. She heaved a sigh and glanced to the now smaller group of rangers who were looking quite disheveled. "I feel sorry for them, we are lucky we only sustained minor injuries at best..." she murmured. Her hands tightened into fists around the horse's reins and she looked to Teonvan.
Teonvan sat frowning, deep in thought. "I want to speak with the Ithilien rangers first and see if they have any other information. Then I think it would be best to report back to Minas Tirith before we just barge straight into Mordor... no matter how asleep the land may seem, I don't trust it," he said, looking to the two elves for their reactions.
Minsy bit her lip and resisted the urge to try and persuade them to just barge on it. Her curiosity was killing here, as was a fire stirring deep within her. If some sort of evil had returned to Morder she wanted to ride there right this second and end it before it had a change to become something major. With a sign, she nodded. "You're right. Perhaps we could get some others to join us, in case things go foul over there." She suggested, hoping one of her old companions or even someone knew would be itching for some more adventure
Earwen nodded. "I like that idea, Minsy," she said to her friend. "Perhaps you and I could ride ahead of Teonvan while he reconvenes with the rangers? We can gather others in the meantime and have everyone armed and ready to go by the time he returns," she suggested.
Teonvan nodded. "Don't worry about waiting for me to return. The rangers and I can meet you halfway at the old Black Gate."
Sorry it's short x_x]]
lol it's all good))
Minsy nodded in an almost excited sort of fashion. She was suddenly thrilled to ride hard back to Minas Tirith and share the news, hopefully stirring some people to join them. "Yes, I think that is a marvelous idea." Her eyes beamed with a newfound light, she just hoped she wouldn't fall off the horse in her thrill. She tapped the beast's sides with a little more gusto with normal and allowed the horse to shoot off like the wind.
