Kidding.
I think most people feel that way though, we were all younger and stupider. But be nice to yourself. What young you needed was probably several long heartfelt conversations and care, not more hurt.
I try to be that way when I think about dumb things I did. At least for the most part. There is one specific situation where the thing that probably would have helped me at that time was a punch in the face and a "what the hell is wrong with you?" because I was being a truly awful human being.

There is one specific situation where the thing that probably would have helped me at that time was a punch in the face and a "what the hell is wrong with you?" because I was being a truly awful human being. I saw a quote that says "Anyone who isn't embarrassed of who they were last year probably isn't learning enough." That quote might be a bit of an exaggeration, but it does help me look at my embarrassment at my past-selves in the positive light of personal growth instead of self-hatred. |

I just realized I made a somewhat serious, yet small mistake at work yesterday, and they don't know I did it and I'm afraid to admit doing it because the manager is an a-hole and I don't want to be humiliated in the public work group-chat they have because that's where the manager does it. don't even wanna show my face at work tomorrow because of the dumb mistake i made  |

It's floor to ceiling windows for two stories, so it's mostly glass with a solid roof and floor. I hate sunlight so I would not want to hang out there if the sun is out. Also, aren't they concerned that the more-or-less constant sunlight will fade the book covers?

My home city is renovating their library. I'm glad they're investing in it, because the library is a great public space, but I hate the new design. It's floor to ceiling windows for two stories, so it's mostly glass with a solid roof and floor. I hate sunlight so I would not want to hang out there if the sun is out. Also, aren't they concerned that the more-or-less constant sunlight will fade the book covers? Am I the only one who heavily dislikes the ultra Modern designs consisting of a solid foundation while the rest is glass? There's little personality to it, little aesthetic, in my eyes. |

Videos of animals that display food aggression aren't cute. At best they show negligence of an animal that needs to be seen by a vet to rule out parasites, at worst they show actual abuse and starvation of an underfed animal (sometimes obviously so).
Like yeah my cats will beg and sometimes steal when I am not looking because it's tasty and they are spoiled, but never to the extent some of these do where they are playing tug-of-war over it. Especially food that isn't normally eaten by carnivores. If your cat is getting aggressive and trying to eat bread, something is VERY WRONG.

When you walk into someone else's room, living room, whatever, don't think that the temperature is off and adjust the thermostat for them. It's at that level for a reason, they're obviously comfortable, and if they weren't, they would have changed it themselves. Unless the electricity bill is racking up high or they ask you to change it, leave it alone please.

It's at that level for a reason, they're obviously comfortable, and if they weren't, they would have changed it themselves. Unless the electricity bill is racking up high or they ask you to change it, leave it alone please. If anyone ever touches my thermostat that isn't me i will literally chop their hands off. |

I think I indirectly caused the death of my godmother by just..not telling my dad to bring her to er? I was hungry and selfish and wanted the visit to be over already.
However I had this "instinct" telling me to get the er involved but I ignored it. She died a few weeks after and I felt absolutely terrible. After that I promised myself that I would always listen to my instincts...yeah.
About 2 years later my cat (she's an indoor/outdoor pet) went outside and was calling me. Now, my "instinct" tells me, 'hey, bring you cat inside or else something bad will happen'
I shrugged it off, due to laziness and fear that my mom would yell at me and let my heavily pregnant cat stay the night outside.
Now, next morning she's gone! What a surprise! If only I had listened and didn't ALLOW a pregnant cat to WANDER the streets alone?
I go to every shelter and neighbor I can grab a hold on, no sign of Callie! Then I proceed to cry myself to sleep for 4 months straight! Wishing I had listened to myself, and thinking that I could've prevented both the loss of my cat and my godmother's death!
