[[ Happy New Year everyone! To a much better one! I look forward to RPing with all of you in the new year. also i am feeling drunk already even though all i had was, like, three glasses of sparking apple cider (nonalcoholic), so i officially have the as little, if not less, alcohol tolerance as Lilah because haha I don't need alcohol to feel inebriated (me thinks 2020 was just that awful) ]]

Happy New Years everyone! I hope that 2021 is a blessed year for all of y’all and that we continue to make fun memories in this RP! Lowkey moss sparkling apple cider has the same affect on me I think it’s my brain trying to trick me into feeling drunk because it’s in a fancy wine bottle. XD Glad you enjoyed it though)

{ @shootforthestars I swear I will do good and not make posts that are over... 1500 words anymore. At the most. Maybe one day I'll get to a reasonable word count. One day. Anyways, I can't say that I'm very good at describing characters, but glad it helped give you a bit of inspiration. I don't know if you saw, but I added just a little bit of info in the characters section on the front page for the twins (and most of my characters actually). A lot of it probably was a repeat of what's been said, but there you go anyways.
Also, this is such a minor thing, but it made me laugh because of how tired I was when I read your post. I love that Al briefly turns into the ultimate version of herself ("AL") just because she found something funny.
I cannot stop laughing at that phrase xD To be fair, I'm pretty sure I might not have had everything about Mages up on the extras page that I do now? I can't remember when I added the thing about colors exactly, but it might have been before you crated your mage character, so that's not really your fault. It doesn't even really contradict any worldbuilding since it's well-known that Anima magic just kinda does what it wants.
Also, how everyone else makes character names: apparently with some methods i don't know about that makes them all sound cool How I come up with character names: random name generator, but give it a slightly ~odd~ spelling (tbh, that's on-brand for mages tho)
The closest I've dealt with is pneumonia, but I hardly remember that, and it's not really the same. Someone in my family had a collapsed lung though and it definitely doesn't seem fun. I know they can be life-threatening, but some don't even need treatment. I think it really depends on the underlying cause. Harley has a lot of other problems going on to though (uh, what all else did he do?... abdominal puncture wound, internal bleeding, probably concussion, fractured something in his leg, general cuts and bruises and burns). I did research it, but I doubt anything about this scenario is that realistic since my brain is a) dumb and constantly fried. Also, I like being dramatic and dragging things out as long as possible. Pain is patented by Star. Don't look that up. Not because it isn't true, you just... shouldn't.
Falling... in love... with one of my characters? Oh, Shoot, dear. You really shouldn't be giving me all these opportunities to hurt you. Attached to Zane. Loving Harley. Shoot will be the death of my male characters. I have gotten a bit attached to him though, he's really taken complete control of his actions and story so oop-
Someone: I really like this character of yours Me: Aw, thank you so much The character, knowing me far too well:
mossecho Happy New Year! Hope everyone has a very good one : ) The same kind of effect happens to me, tbh. One of my many useless talents is being able to get myself drunk without touching alcohol. It is superb. Also, Lilah can't help what she is xD I was chalking it up to it being really strong champagne, so even though she only had like 3-4 glasses, it was enough. To be fair, according to various BAC calculators, it would be for someone her size (coupled with lack of built-up tolerance and having eaten almost nothing for like a day) }

Starchaser Star, you do you. If you want all your posts to be over 2000 words than I say go for it! XD I like reading them anyways so write to your heart's content! I defiantly didn't see that your babies had new descriptions so I think I'm going to hop on over and read those before bed. "run in here come get y'all juice" STAR I'M SOBBING this has no right to be this funny right now
Oh dear, the typos have caused a funny to happen once again. XD I typed this up around 12 AM and only got around to posting it about an hour so yeah... It's probably got a lot of typos. One of my biggest problems is that I never have the will to proof read things. I just... hate proofreading. I know it's a necessary skill that I should have and that I should proofread every post before it's sent. I just hate it so much and I apologize to y'all for reading my nasty, non-proofread replies. I'm glad it gave you a great laugh though so I think I will keep it.
I use that phrase in my daily life all the time. It's a favorite of mine. Ok, that makes so much sense. Perhaps it wasn't there, perhaps it was. Anima works either way like you said.
I always look for names from different languages and tweak them a bit. Altalune is straight latin which translates to "over the moon". I don't remember where I got Redis from, but I think it was Celtic?? I'm not sure though. Anyways, I always go in which a meaning in mind and try to find something I like and then remove/add letters to make it more unique. Then I plug it into google to find out if I made an actual name.
I've never had pneumonia but my mom has and it was pretty crummy. Yeah, you're right about the range of it because my friend was on the extreme end. It isn't always treated. Medical issues don't have to be entirely accurate in RP; that's what makes it so much fun.
Star... Star, don't do it to me. I've only known him for five minutes, Star. Five minutes. I like Madds too I'm sensing a pattern here with your male characters so you can't do this to me.
Anyways, I'm off to bed! Hope the 1st day of 2021 goes well for everyone! Night!)

Starchaser Nah, dude. I completely understand and you shouldn't be too bummed. Sometimes, it just doesn't work out the way that you like it. I don't blame you for not being able to develop another post due to the lack of substance that I put into my own posts. XD Guess that's what happens when we just go for maximum destruction?? XD Oh well! Amber mossecho Anyways, here is Clari's post. Hope it helps to move things along a bit again though its short! I'm not sure how werewolves would interact with vampires since I doubt many of them have actually ever interacted with them in their life time since Vamps almost never leave their covens. So, I settled for curious interest over the whole 'You're my mortal enemy' approach. I don't think Clari's parents would be too thrilled if they saw Clari interacting with a vampire, but she's pretty openminded so I think it works. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) Also, sooooo sorry this has taken so long. My family has been stuck with thing after thing lately (my Dad got pretty sick though not with COVID, my sister was in a car accident, you know) and I redid my room so that took a lot of my time.
Clarisse Alinsky “The sun watches what I do, but the moon knows all my secrets.” - J M Wonderland
✶ ⤐ ☾The Chosen Werewolf ☾⬷ ✶
Clarisse was less than pleased that her mage was being spirited away without a proper introduction from her, but she didn't mention it as Gabriel was intent on doing so. Instead, she focused her attention on the tall vampire that the mage had been with moments prior, the distant firelight of the prophecy tingling her eyes. It was like stepping out into the sunlight on a warm summer's day; she had the distant need to shield her eyes.
But what was there to shield? Besides, Clarisse thought that might come across a bit rude.
She stepped forward with a brilliant smile and as soon as the tingling was gone, put her hand out to shake like her father had taught her. It was against her nature to touch a stranger so easily and quickly, but apparently it was custom with the rich in sanctum. Hopefully it was custom with vampires as well. As her hand hovered in the air, she realized that she had also failed to introduce herself.
"Hello, Alexander. I am Clarisse Alinsky of Alinsky First Pack. We live by the ìrːẽẽ˨ny river... if that's something important. We don't really have any fancy titles." Her eyes sparkled with mirth as she inspected him.
Shoving his hands into his pockets, Clarisse wondered if he was trying to mentally flee from the encounter. Reading body language was flighty with none shifter's, but his scent was tinged with discomfort... and anger? She wasn't sure what that was about. Still, she admired the way that the dark haired vampire straightened and tilted his chin to the ceiling in an attempt to appear bigger. Just like when animals fluffed their pelts and scales to intimidate. He was taller than he so it didn't take much for the impression to work. Even with her knowing his game, there was a part of her that couldn't help to tuck her metaphorical ears back in unease.
Of course, she was an alpha's pup so no intimidation or superiority act would hold for long. Confident was her life blood.
"I'm here for the same reason you are. So is Avani. At least we think that you are here because of a few wild dreams." For a moment, her head tilted as she noticed the blood red color of his eyes. The same as her dreams. "Gabriel offered to help us find you once we found that there were two more here. Apparently the mage you were with is one of us as well."
As if struck with lightning, she jerked straight with a small noise. A wicked smile slid onto her face as she looked to the ceiling, remembering something, "Oh, and we might have found something earlier. Would you like to know what it is, Alexander?"

{ @shootforthestars Our need for angst and destruction finally got us. Our characters are probably very smug about it. Now though, I have a vague semi-plot that we could eventually use to tie in with prophecy crew if we feel like doing that mage gang again.
Anyways, no worries about being gone! Sorry to hear things have been chaotic for you (seems 2021 is already intent on outdoing The Year That Shall Not Be Spoken Of, at least based on my personal experience and current events, but I hope I'm wrong), but glad to talk to you again, as always
Here's all our old convo stuff, btw, not that it's really relevant anymore:
I don't necessarily want to write super long posts, I just always end up doing it. It usually begins with me saying "the planned content i have is not going to be enough, do more stuff. but now we need explanation and good transitions and accompanying internal monologue and-" I don't really want people to have to slog through super long posts, especially when shorter ones would be better paced, or for my characters to focus too much attention on themselves. I think part of my issue is how many characters I have and some of them are always interacting with each other. Guess we have to axe some of them after all (:
Oh, didn't you know? I might just be one of the funniest people in existence ever. I am glad you find my stupid sense of humor amusing though xD
Typos and such don't bother me, don't feel obligated to proofread lol. It's not like we're writing essays for class or anything. I barely proofread my posts, hence why I end up editing them eighteen times and twelve hours later (because I've finally slept and am coherent when I re-read them).
Honestly, I don't follow the rule completely either. Lilah basically breaks the rule herself, but considering she's powerful in all the aspects, she's kind of a special case. I did try to follow my new ideas a bit though. Divination, invocation, evocation, and alchemy are probably (read maybe, since I can't ever be decisive) her best aspects, so her eyes are violet-purple-y. Her aura is more purple though, and mage magic changes a bit in color depending on the type of spell they're performing. This makes their eyes somewhat iridescent too, I suppose, but it's usually only for brief moments and not very noticeable unless they're casting a very powerful spell. Gabriel follows this really pretty nicely though. Harley and Maddox, not quite so much, but they're hybrids so we're handwaving it.
Oh, yeah, that makes sense. I normally only do that for my POV characters though. I picked names based on meaning for all my not-one-off characters, but when it comes to NPCs I'm just like "lol whatever random name for you." Harley and Maddox have like no thought put into them though, but they're the exceptions. Yes, Harley literally came to mind because motorcycles. I am ashamed. Maddox, idk. It has an x in it so it has to be cool (Knox was also a contender here, but I felt like that was a little rougher of a name, which didn't quite fit Madds).
I find medical stuff interesting, and I try to be fairly accurate with it, but ya know. We've got magic and angst, so sometimes it's gotta take a backseat.
Ask and you shall receive. Don't worry, they will only die near the end, once I'm certain you're very attached to them. }

Starchaser Oh dear goodness, this post took me much too long to put together. I am so sorry to just leave you hanging like that. XD To be completely honest, since the main plot has once again slowed down, I wouldn't mind picking the gang back up. In what capacity, I'm not sure. Maybe we can just skip a bit ahead and have them trying to track down Devland's gang as pay back??? Like i said, not sure, but I do love those characters already.
Yeah, I'm starting to learn my lesson with longer posts. I like reading and writing longer posts, but they just don't lend as much to the action of the plot. When things get too long, it's harder to have things happen as quickly. I think I'm going to start purposefully shortening my posts to help with my self induced pacing problem. XD
I'm glad you are willing to fuel my non-proofing reading addiction. It's a very bad habit, but one that I am unwilling to break.
I think this is why Anima is so interesting to me. It makes sense in that it doesn't make any sense. By it's nature it is an oddity and unpredictable so the way that it expresses itself in those that use is also unpredictable. Belua is very hard-lined: it changes body chemistry into what the user wills it. Though the end result may be different, all Belua users have to start with the same fundamental ingredient: the body. Anima is wack compared to it. XD
Not gonna lie, I knew Harley was going to be hard character when I saw his name. I literally thought that he was going to be the leather wearing, motorcycle driving, smooth talking boy of the group. I was not wrong. Names say a lot about the character. I think that is why I decided to shorten Altalune's name. It was too... stuffy??? But I loved it because it was a remnant of a life long forsaken. Al fits her much better.
and the pieces fall into place. XD I had a similar epiphany years ago. We've all been there. *pat's back*
Aw! They are soo cute! Harley and Madds are perfect and so is Lilah!!! She looks so concerned compared to the gang guys. XD I might have also some for my babies.... XD)
I feel like this is closest to Al that I'm gonna get with this generator. And I lowkey love this for Clarisse. She even has the little wolf ears. T-T

(Hey, sorry for the silence in my end, things have been busy. There were the holidays and I'm starting my second week of class this week. I'm taking an accelerated math course (algebra 1) and the teacher expected us to do 18-24 hours worth of studying a week and I'm just...not doing that. But there's a lot if homework and note taking. Besides that, my neighbor's husband passed at the start of the month and I've been helping her around her house.
Writer's block plus some procrastination hasn't helped nor had my distraction with random character stuff and world building. I'll try and get something up by the end of the week/early next week.)

{ @shootforthestars It's fine, I sort of assumed it had been looked over. I accidentally do that a lot, lol.
I'd be fine with picking up the gang again too. I had a couple ideas we could go with, kinda depends on what you're feeling. i think finding on of their rival gang's hideouts and thrashing them would be cool and fun. I also had a vague thought of sending them looking for some rare item after one of the members (probably Harley, because he's an idiot) ends up having to make reparations to some crime family's boss. Or we could just do some... gang domesticity (which sounds like an oxymoron and I love it) and have some lighthearted stuff. They could do a beach day or visit a fair? Idk, just something that isn't necessarily a huge or long plot. Though that mightn't be as fun, but who knows. I'd also like to offer forth some quick cult scenes if y'all want. Just some assassinations and scheming and general being clandestine.
I completely agree with that. I never mind reading a lot of content from others, but I do feel, in my case at least, that it can slow things down. I think a lot of it is due to my being, first and foremost, a writer rather than an RPer. I wouldn't say I'm inexperienced with it, but I suppose I haven't honestly done much of it. I also get a bit too into exposition at times. I'm going to try very hard to be better about length, particularly in dialogue- and action-heavy scenes. I'd like to get myself to under a 1000 words at least for most scenes.
What are friends for but to encourage bad habits? xD
My favorite thing about Anima is definitely how wacky it can be. It works very well for some of the ideas I already had for mage culture and other such worldbuilding tidbits. I've always sort of felt that, as the form of magic that takes the meaning most literally, Anima should be the most confusing and variable of the magic types. It's a natural phenomenon, but in the same way that earthquakes and weather are. There's still an inherent chaos and unpredictability to it. Moreover, I just always felt that something like magic shouldn't be easy to understand. It might be a bit easier to use, if only its users could really decipher it and all the science involved, but magic is just like that. It goes beyond comprehension.
Naming characters is so fun for me. I love looking for meanings and figuring out ways to hint at character personalities and the like. Fun fact about Harley and Maddox: they picked their names. Or, rather, Harley picked both of theirs. He thought they should have tougher street names, and neither of them really want to think much on their past. Madds didn't know what to pick, so he let Harley give him suggestions and that's what he ended up with. In this universe, idk where they would have gotten the ideas from yet. I do love the name Altalune, but Al does seem to fit better. That said, I really like the idea of it representing the life she could have had. Names are fun.
Mage naming conventions are a bit weird. I haven't written anything up about it yet, but most Mages have at least four names: two first names, a middle name, and one or two surnames. There are a lot of rules dictating what first names should be, based on when a mage is born, the alignment of celestial bodies, the weather, etc. It's confusing, but something to do with the aspects of Anima and gods strongest when they're born. Names, be they of people, places, objects, spells, whatever, are considered really important in Mage culture. There are huge books containing "guidelines" for what sort of names to pick depending on the parameters surrounding the kid's birth so that they'll achieve their full potential and whatever. So, with Lilah, her name is very astronomical-based and partially derived from the goddess Lulla. Lilah was born in this world's equivalent of November, which is during Lulla's reign. She was also born the night of a lunar eclipse. Hence, her name mostly has to do with the stars and night. Her name also has a meaning in Heavenly language though, and her mom took inspiration from Lilah's Oracle great-grandmother. Middle names are chosen more based on the parents' preference, with their meanings centering around traits and skills they want them to have. Surnames come from both parents, which is why there are normally two. The more prominent family's name always comes last though. The second first name is picked by the mage when they come of age (usually 12). It probably has a fancier word, but we'll call it their "magic name." It's quite literally a name made from sigils and meant to enhance one's magical ability by attuning/connecting them to their own magic more deeply. Each aspect tends to have certain sounds and such that go with them. Mages wait because it takes a while for them to learn their own magic and get comfortable with it. Anyways, it's probably untranslatable in other languages. Mages only use them when casting spells; it sort of ties in with the idea of spells being a physical manifestation of abstract desires. One needs a way to represent themselves as well. It doesn't normally get shared with anyone, since giving someone a magic name gives them power over you. Important Mage families are more likely to adhere to these practices, while the "average" ones may not.
*cries in self-awareness*
Lilah feels many emotions, but tends to only look like she feels two: sadness and concern. She's the type of person to get told "you look sad/tired" a lot. She definitely would probably be concerned a lot in the gang. People always getting hurt and doing crime. Lilah stresses over nothing, so when there's actual danger she definitely worries a lot. Also, I meant to include the link, but I forgot. Glad you found it anyways. I have tried making other characters on there and I'm weirdly happy my Clari idea matches yours almost exactly. I could never get Al to match my vision though, there just aren't quite all the right options for her. I love playing around with those generators, but I have an affinity for the more stylized ones. I just think it's easier to express personality and distinguish the characters.
Amber It's fine, I understand this is a busy time of year for most people. I'm sorry to hear things haven't been the best for you, or just busy in general, but I hope circumstances improve soon. }

I hope school gets a little easier for you! Bio can be rough (looking at you, Krebs cycle), so you have my sympathies. We can suffer together.
Thanks, hope the same for you <3
Funny you should mention that. I was thinking that the only thing stopping Mages from travelling to outer space is the magical barrier. It would have to be disrupted for a long period of time for something like a spaceship to be launched through, leaving the Kingdom all vulnerable to attack and patch-up would be taxing, so they have to reluctantly agree it simply isn't possible right now. They really wish that wasn't so though. I don't know how often planes would be used, just since there isn't much travel between the different nations, and nowhere to go beyond the Kingdom, but probably smaller private ones exist. I suppose the Kingdom itself could be large enough to warrant that, but I doubt there would be any airports except in Mage Nation, Sanctum, and maybe the Heavenly Empire. Except Heavenlys all can fly anyways. Also, if I were a vampire, I would definitely do that. }

[[ Starchaser : after three weeks of bio (going into week four, kill me), my conclusion is that my bio class's content is easy, but the workload is brutal. My professor clearly loves what he talks about but I don't so... that's going well.
<3
To be completely honest, I still feel kinda weird about mages having modern-day tech (just since magic and technology don't really pair in my head), but that's a whole 'nother thing. The barrier explanation works well though, I like it. I figure Heavenlys wouldn't fly that high because, well, not enough oxygen. But whatever, idk what their lung capacity is.
Vampires are into extreme sports. That's just a fact. They don't want to admit it, but we all know it's true. I mean, for them these sports don't have the same risk factor that other species experience so... it's all relative? idk. But yeah, free soloing, highlining, skydiving (before it was banned in the Crater Prevention Act) (that's not a thing) (but it is)... you know. Stuff that requires a lot of height. Extreme sports that involve vehicles don't really exist as far as vampires are concerned because, well, no technology. which is to say I haven't thought about it Oh, and all aesthetics-related sports are super popular. Iceskating, gymnastics, dance, you get the gist.
this is all to say that I spend too much time on Instagram watching videos of people doing things that are either a.) too hard for me to ever do (hello figure skating) and/or b. too scary for me to ever consider doing (hello free soloing)
also this post should've gone in the discussion section, my bad, got mixed up between the pages xD ]]

{ mossecho *laughs in 'i picked my major on a whim and it's too late to do anything now'
Eh, I honestly like the idea of figuring out how technology and magic would meld. Artifice is basically the art of combining the two ideas. I enjoy the opportunity magitek provides. And anachronistic settings. In this world, I see technology being magic as well. Any type of "technology" is just the manipulation of magic to achieve a certain goal in a better, more efficient way. I'm sure all of the nations have their own form of technology, even if it seems rudimentary. The reason Mages are seen as the most "advanced" with technology is simply because their magic (and therefore the tech they derive from it) has more applications. Sort of like in the Avatar universe, with the tech being influenced by the bending types, I guess? I'm trying to find real world examples, and that's what comes to mind since I know everyone here has seen it. Mages also have lots of time on their hands. I haven't really referenced their tech much though, as I still don't have as much of it figured out as I'd like. That's largely because even though their tech is, I guess, the equivalent of modern-day stuff, it's really not the same kind of tech our world would have. It can achieve similar purposes, but the process is vastly different. I do get your point, I've never really tried out a magic and very technological society, so I'm still getting used to it. Which is why the tech only gets randomly included... I forget it's supposed to be "modern" a lot too.
Anyways, I'm sure Heavenlys probably don't fly as high as planes most of the time. Theoretically, I guess they could though? Most commercial airlines fly at an altitude of somewhere between 30,000-45,000 feet or something. There are species of birds that can fly over 30,000 feet. 26,000 feet is the generally termed "death zone" for humans when it comes to withstanding high altitudes. I don't see why it wouldn't be a bit higher for Heavenlys, considering they have magic and are made to fly. I'm not the best with this type of thing though.
I get the aesthetics-related sports, but the extreme ones both makes sense to me and seems surprising. I guess the fact that the risks are slim to none for them, it makes more sense. It wouldn't be seen as dangerous and adrenaline-seeking, just... entertainment? Oh, how I wish I could free-fall from thousands of feet. I quite like the thought that all the species like their own different versions of extreme sports that aren't really that big of a deal to them. Then Mages come in doing the same stuff and they're suddenly appalled because it could literally kill their fragile, almost-human selves. But Mages be crazy. }

{ Since we're having a lull, decided to put this out here. Meet our main antagonist (previous chosen one and Alex's great-granduncle), vampire cult leader who only goes by titles, totally not because I don't know what name he's chosen for himself yet ahaha. I'm not thrilled with how this turned out (oh, big surprise there, I hardly have to say it at this point), but I don't detest it. Actually, I do. I just really, really wanted to get something up. My inspiration is dead though. Not that it's been around for a while, but. I really had such high hopes for this one originally, but I gave that up pretty early into writing it : ( I am Looking Away from it, lest I die from shame~
Anyways, you may recall that I mentioned a leader from each of the Families being assassinated. This is what's happening while prophecy crew is at the party. It doesn't take too long for the other leaders around to notice some of the others have vanished, which will then lead to this general mayhem amongst the different leaders of the Families. Despite their efforts, this info gets leaked and a lot of people end up at the city hall trying to figure out what happened. Everybody is very tense, especially the other leaders, since they have no clue who was responsible and it doesn't help that all of the Families were targeted. Technically, not the Shifters, but one of their leaders happens to die, so there's definitely suspicion that is the case.
Most of the leaders were staying in the same areas (Sanctum's equivalent of a state guest house, but there are probably two or three, since having all the most important people in your country in one place is a bad idea. You can see why, just based on this). I'm gonna say Mages and Elementals were together, cause they were also having to discuss a breach incident that ruined a bunch of Elemental land. And Heavenlys and Infernals. Shifters are at the party, but they stayed separately cause their personal wants. Vampires also maintain their own state guest house, because they're too good to stay with the other species.
Here's a list of who gets killed (the choices were picked at random in some generator): Shifters - Lead Alpha Irene Alinsky (hasn't happened yet but, per Shoot's idea, she will die in the attack on Sanctum by one of the eldritch abominations) Elementals - Fire Commander Brenton Talis (Caspian's uncle, in charge of the Elemental military) Heavenlys - Amil's representative in the Inner Council of the Three Siblings (probably an Oracle too?) Infernals - Demons + other Infernals: Ameretat Ar'Akal (a demon representative in the Infernal Demarchy); Fae: Queen Blodeuwedd O’Hara (Queen of the Dawn Throne); Vampires: Some Council vampire who hasn't been named (Alex's great-great-grandfather, if that works for you, mossecho ) Mages - Mirabelle Morgana (member of the High Council (idk her official position yet; Gabriel and Lilah's aunt, though not by blood in Lilah's case)
Also, vampire dude has the ability to tap into powers from all the Families, as well as has some weird ones nobody has heard of. Hence why he's a formidable opponent who could kill another vampire, even one older than him. I don't want to get into all the details yet, but let's just say you don't want to go one-on-one with him. Ever.
It's murder time, friends :3 A fun little fact about this mission is that all the leaders were killed in different ways to resemble how some of the other species would probably go about a murder. For example, the Heavenly might have been assassinated by an Elemental member of the cult with their earth powers or whatever. The Elemental leader could have been killed by a vampire, etc. That way all the Families have reason to blame each other.
@shootforthestars I hope you can do something with this. You can have your character kill somebody and then maybe go off and meet with some of the other members to prepare for the attack? Or maybe you wanna have them go spy at the party. Oh, or perhaps they go spreading gossip about the assassinations around, to stir up some fear and such in the people in Sanctum. Honestly, I hadn't given this much thought as an interaction, it was always more of vignette type deal in my mind, which is what I originally had in mind when writing it. Whatever you do though, I can have one of my other charries or cult leader interact with yours. It depends on what you'd like to do. Maybe we could tie in Mage gang with this too, somehow? Like, one them ends up picking up info they really shouldn't have and now everyone's like "oh, shoot, a freaking murderous cult is gonna be after us now." Idk, I'm just trying to think of stuff to do.
Also, I'm assuming most Sanctum-dwelling shifters have something similar to Lu's necklace that allows them to keep their clothes when they shift. }

Me seeing and reading this post: OK, first off: how dare you? How dare you criticize that? I, for one, throughly enjoyed it and was transfixed the entire time. I liked reading about the events going on from a more sinister side. XD I really like him as a villain already. I feel like this is going to be fun. I won't be able to get a post up soon though. I have four tests next week let me just throw up - so it's possible that the post won't go up until next Thursday at the latest. DX I'm so sorry in advance for that super long delay!)

{ @shootforthestars Oh, don't worry about that. I just wanted to get something up for the sake of it, and in case anyone else wanted to do anything while we wait to get the main plot going again. It seems like everyone's really busy right now though, so at least it might be something to read in your spare time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And I'm writing sad baby Zane again, so maybe that will be up soon. Soon as in 7 months.
Noooo, pls, I hate it so much. It's not the concept I have problem with, it's the â¨execution⨠The first version was so much better, I swear. But then I got all tired and sad, and that's the bland mess we ended up with (not to mention I still don't know what his Designated Evil Villain name is yet, so I have to use stupid titles for everything and it's awkward as heck but idk what to do). I really wish I was better with his voice and giving exposition, but alas. I'm blaming it on lack of motivation, but I've honestly been like this since the start of the RP... I will continue to blame it on burn-out though. Forever. I have never stopped being burnt out since I was, like, 12. That's my excuse now and always. }

Sounds great! yeah, I wish that I had time to sit down and work on a reply but this week and next have been a living nightmare. So much such for school and I've had super hard conversations with my friends lately. It's enough to take a girl out, I tell you what. XD So anyways, I can't wait to read some Zane and indulge in the angst. Even if it is seven months from now. XD The first version is always better though let's be real. It's usually more in line with what you actually want. to make you feel better I finished my new character's reply coding! Take a look! I really like how this one turned out. I wanted a completely gray scale code and I think I nailed it!

{ @shootforthestars It's no worries, honest (: I'm lacking in the inspiration to do much of anything right now anyways. I spent the entire day revamping a lot of my old stories, so I'm spent. I also hard agree about the conversations. I can barely maintain one with the only person who still talks to me. Good luck with your tests and all!
Shoot, you're an enabler. How will I ever stop giving my characters things to angst about? xD I'm glad you're excited about it, though I can't promise it will be anything special. The main thing I'm enjoying about it is shedding some light on his relationships and stuff. It's not explored much in RP, beyond Zane thinking about it and all, just since most of them are dead. But this lil' snippet will feature his brother and mom a bit more, as well as Bad Dad TM. His brother seems to be making the most appearance though.
Also, I love that coding! It's got immaculate vibes. Also also, fun fact, I thought about using that quote for vampire guy c:
mossecho It's nice to hear that other people are enjoying the post, even if I do hate it myself. }

Me, an enabler? Pst, nah, I don't - I don't you what you're talking about. I have done nothing wrong, ever, in my life. Including enabling. Will there be baby Zane in these conversations?? Or is this tween Zane? I'm excited despite your attempts to self sabotage your own greatness. xD It must have been fate then! The quote must make it into the Rp!)
