Thorntail - medicine den - Brackenkit, Tornheart Thorntail nodded, accepting Brackenkit's apology. "Make sure you don't do it again. Luckily you didn't do any harm this time." He turned to Tornheart. Despite the fact that the tom said he was fine, anyone could see how worried he was. A snake in CedarClan territory was a serious threat, after all. "Is it true that there was a snake? What kind? You're right, we should help Sunmask." Briefly, he considered telling Brackenkit to go back to the nursery, but he decided against it. The kit would only get into more trouble, and it might do him good to learn about the dangers of the world outside camp. "Brackenkit, do you want to come along?" @fallownose willowflower

Willowshine felt Dappleface begin to lean against Amberwing as they got closer to camp, she could feel the older she-cat trembling and it wasn't lessening at all despite Sunmask having given her medicine. The camp entrance was just up ahead and Willowshine was grateful to be home, hopeful that everything was going to be okay once they came back into the clearing. The roots shifted and out emerged Mudrush and for a moment, Willowshine allowed herself to relax, thankful for his presence as if he would have a better idea of what to do. "Dad." She breathed as he came to their aid. All too soon she's reminded of the severity of the situation when her father asks where Sunmask was. "She's still with Lionfang, Skypaw and Beepaw. They should close behind." She informed him, her gaze steeling over. "We need to get Dappleface into the Medicine Cat den quickly, she got bit and Skypaw got hurt pretty badly. They were the only ones who were severely injured." The fluffy molly told him. While Willowshine overall felt alright, she, herself, looked pretty scuffed up as well. The snake had flung her off too, but the most she had suffered was an aching side and her ankle that was beginning to feel sensitive. She's sure once the adrenaline wore off she'll feel more of the pain. "Will you make sure there's a clear path to the den?" She asks Mudrush, continuing to lead Dappleface closer to camp. With both her, Dappleface, and Amberwing trying to get into the camp, it was a tight squeeze to get all three of them inside but they were able to manage. Finally back in camp, Willowshine immediately began to look around for Rainstar, spotting her speaking to Lightdrop and she soon felt the nerves take hold of her heart as she wondered how Lightdrop would react to seeing her mother. Empathy clouded her gaze as she knew exactly how it felt to lose a mother and she hoped Lightdrop wouldn't have to suffer the same. "Come on, let's get you into the medicine cat's den, I'm sure Rainstar will bring Lightdrop to you." She whispers to Dappleface, swallowing thickly to keep the lump in her throat down.

Brackenkit // in the medicine den, with Thorntail and Tornheart
This time... What had Thorntail meant by that? Did he think Brackenkit's antics would get a Clanmate hurt one day? No! Brackenkit thought. Of course not. But still...
His thoughts were broken when Thorntail turned to address his son again. He wants me to come with him? Brackenkit wondered in confusion. But it sounded like he didn't trust me. "Really?" Brackenkit could hardly keep the surprise out of his voice as he looked up at his father. I thought I'd be in so much trouble! And Thorntail usually ignores me anyway... what changed? He blinked profusely, trying to clear his head. At least he's offering to spend time with me, the tabby kit thought. Maybe he loves me again.
Straightening up, he realized Thorntail was still waiting on a response. "I'd love to come," Brackenkit answered politely, pushing aside his worried thoughts. "I promise I'll be good."

Rainstar could see every emotion that was coursing through Lightdrop and she could feel the hostility begin to rise within the younger she-cat, her snarl causing Rainstar to take a slight paw step backwards. She was confused for a moment, not sure if her anger was towards the situation or towards herself, and for a moment she wondered if Lightdrop thought she was lying.
"I wouldn't have come over here to tell you something like this if I didn't think it were serious, or if I didn't think you should be one of the first cats to know over the whole clan." The blue-furred leader told the other, her gaze beginning to firm. Then, immediately after, her gaze turn towards the camp entrance as she watches Dappleface, Amberwing, and her sister emerge. Rainstar's heart beats faster and she's relieved to see that her sister was fine, but she didn't celebrate too fast as she noticed the state Dappleface was in. Her eyes fall back on Lightdrop and she frowns. "Sunmask should be back soon, go see your mother." She tells the younger she-cat, stepping aside now.
Darkfang was starting to get a bit frustrated as Frost continued to just stand right before the nursery, hoping she would've gone in by now. He understands why she might be cautious but he can't understand why she'd allowed herself into the medicine cats den but refuses to go into that would be where she would be staying. He sighs and starts to shake his head before she notices Fallowkit approaching them.
He steps out of the nursery and moves aside for Frost as her kits seem to take interest in Fallowkit. "You're welcome in there anytime, but there are injured cats making their way back to camp. I'm not sure what kind of state they're in, but if you don't want your kits seeing it then I suggest making yourself comfortable." He whispers to her, dipping his head before padding away.
Ashenlight watched as the rogue she-cat began to crouch as if she were going to attack, but then decide against it. She blinked slowly, her claws slowly beginning to unsheathe as well, just in case she decided to pounce anyways. While she wasn't looking for a fight, if this cat decided it would attack then Ashenlight would need to be ready for it.
However, she begins to relax when Hazel immediately apologizes. Her whiskers twitch and she tilts her head slightly, finally sheathing her claws. Then, her eyes widen when she mentions Cedarclan, wondering how in the name of Starclan a rogue, new to the territory, even knew of their clan.
"You think or you know?" Ashenlight asked, lowering her haunches until she's sitting on the ground. "There's already been so many strangers today I can't just bring you back to camp, unless you can tell me who you think you're related to." First Frost and now this molly? "You haven't even told me who you are." The gray cat added, narrowing her eyes. There was no way she would bring this she-cat back to camp, not with everything that had just happened.
(I don't think Ashenlight will bring her back just yet, but if Hazel makes a convincing argument she'll probably tell her to wait then bring her to camp when things have calmed down) ( highprince, ~Sapphire~, underthesilverpelt)

(Afternoon! How's everyone's days been?)
Thorntail - medicine den - Sparrowkit, Tornheart
Thorntail was taken aback by the joy shining on Brackenkit's face. Now he thought about it, it had been a while since he spent time with his kits. I've done my best by them, he thought to himself. I've made sure they've had prey to eat and a queen to look after them. I've done by best to keep them out of trouble, even though Brackenkit doesn't make it easy for me. I just can't face...
Outwardly, all he said was, "Let's get going, then. It sounds like there's no time to waste."
Hazel - border - Ashenlight
Hazel sat down, mirroring Ashenlight's pose. "Sorry, I guess I came at a bad time?" Disappointment was sinking through her at the other she-cat's words - what if CedarClan turned her away? She did her best to answer Ashenlight's questions regardless. "My name's Hazel, and I used to live a quarter moon's travel away from here. I wish I could tell you who my parents are - or were, I guess - but all I was told is that they came from CedarClan."
Hazel paused for breath, trying to guage Ashenlight's expression. "I don't need to stay long. I just want to know if what I've been told is true." She sensed that letting Ashenlight know her scepticism about Rosemary's story was a bad idea. Once she got to CedarClan, she could figure out how to stay longer.

Frost - Nursery - Mentions: Darkfang (𝚛𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚢), Fallowkit (@fallownose) and Kits (highprince and @nettles)Frost reeled back a bit when Darkfang came and whispered to her. She gave a brief nod before he turned and watched as he left. She glanced back down at her sons who gazed curiously at this new face, having never seen a kit besides each other. She wished she could feel more comfortable, seeing that this was just another kit, but... she just... didn't know... "In the clearing?" She murmured, glancing back towards the middle of camp. - Owl - Nursery - Mentions: Frost, Fallowkit (@fallownose) and siblings (highprince and @nettles)"Fallowkit?" Owl echoed softly, creeping out a tad bit more, or at least as much as his mother would let him before her tail blocks his path. "What's a Fallowkit? Mama says we're all named for real things. And why does your brother's name sound like yours?"

{Sapphire - Quite good, thanks for asking!}
Brackenkit // medicine den and clearing // with Thorntail
Brackenkit nodded and ducked out of the medicine den into the clearing, only to stop mid-step as he saw the group of cats guiding Dappleface through the entrance. His eyes darted to the wound slathered with herbs on her leg. The pain in Dappleface's eyes made him flinch, and it suddenly felt as if his blood had turned cold. Dappleface had always been kind to him and Fallowkit, telling them stories when they asked and bringing them back feathers to play with after patrols. What if she dies? Brackenkit shuddered at the thought, pushing it away. He seemed to regain control of his limbs, stepping back out of the way of the returning cats as they made for the medicine den. It'll be okay. It'll be okay.
Fallowkit // nursery // with Frost and kits
Fallowkit stifled a purr of amusement at the silver-and-white kit's question. "In the Clan, the first part of our name is a real thing, and the second part comes from our rank. Before you become an apprentice the second part of your name is 'kit'. My brother and I are only 4 moons, so we still have 'kit' in our name." She flicked her tail nervously, hoping it wasn't too difficult for these young kits to understand.
She pricked her ears as she heard the commotion in the camp clearing. Glancing around the kits' mother, she saw Dappleface being carried into the clearing. Oh no. The tortoiseshell she-cat looked badly hurt, and Fallowkit could smell fear-scent from the cats around her. Anxiety prickled through her, and her mother's face flashed in her eyesight. Is Dappleface going to die too?

Dockface // En Route to Great Pines // Open Dockface stayed behind as the other members of the clan went towards home. They didn't need him. Only a medicine cat could keep them alive now. It disgusted him that there was no reason in the decisions of his clanmates--the clan still needed food and none of them could assist the hurt cats other than Sunmask. What they needed was someone hunting. Swiveling around, Dockface trotted away, determined not to let other cats' foolishness keep the clan from eating.

S u n m a s k at Four Trees || with Skypaw, Beepaw & Lionfang ➣ Sunmask made sure the cobwebs were secure before stilling herself, listening closely for the rasp of Skypaw's breath. She could tell it each inhale and exhale brought the apprentice pain and the medicine cat worried about the rib being too close to her niece's lung. All the more reason to get her back to camp as quick as possible. Casting a reassuring smile at Beepaw, Sunmask nodded gratefully. "You did well, thank you," she praised the warrior apprentice, glad that she'd been here to offer assistance. "Okay, Skypaw, let's get you home. Lionfang if you could lie down. Beepaw get on the other side of your sibling and help lift some of their weight. I'll pull them onto your father's back and then we'll be ready to go," she took charge again, eager to get back to where she had more access to herbs. Out here in the forest she felt pretty useless. The flame point molly moved closer to her wounded kin, grabbing a mouth-full of her scruff as firmly as she could. Carefully waiting for Beepaw, the medicine cat began moving Skypaw onto her father's back for easier transport.
D a p p l e f a c e in camp || with Willowshine, Mudrush & Amberwing ➣ The older molly felt a burst of pure relief when Mudrush came out to greet them. He must have been so worried about his kitten. She managed a soft purr, happy to see daughter and father reunited, especially when she knew there was usually such tension between the two. Walking into the camp, her heart felt heavy, wondering if this would be the last time she ever made this trip. Would this be the last time she ever saw this view? All her clan mates faces? A wave of sorrow so profound buried itself deep into her soul. Dappleface had loved CedarClan with her whole heart, every cat within it from grumpy Brokentalon to sweet little Fallowkit. Even Stormpool and her crew had a place in her heart. So many memories flashed before her. Cuddling with Cherrynose in the nursery. Crawling all over her father when he was in the middle of his meetings, nipping at his ears and being a general nuisance. Being assigned Eagletalon as a mentor and exploring the territory for the first time. She'd been an eager apprentice with a will to help and learn everything. Hours spent training with Eagletalon until she was ready to collapse balanced with evenings spent playing with Stormpaw and Smokepaw. Then her warrior's ceremony where her father nearly choked up giving her her warrior name and her mother cheered and hooted obscenely loud, embarrassing her to the core. Then there was that no good flirty Dustcloud who had stolen her heart. He was such a tease but she had such a soft spot for him. Then her precious Lightdrop was born. So many other memories. Helping Lightdrop walk for the first time, teaching Rainstar and Willowshine the best way to pick the ticks off elders, coaxing kittens into taking medicine, mentoring Tornheart and Applepaw, then being absolutely devastated when her apprentice passed away. Listening to countless complaints and rants from her clan mates, curling tightly around those who were facing loss and devastation. She mothered everyone who would let her and even those who didn't. Nodding softly to Willowshine, she gave her a brief nuzzle, afraid that this would be the last time she could do so. Then she took trembling steps towards the medicine cat den, her vision barely allowing her to make out the familiar sights.

Beepaw with Sunmask, Lionfang, and Skypaw || Four Trees
Beepaw beamed under the praise, though she knew there wasn't much time to appreciate it. She moved to Skypaw's side, happy that her littermate was also on the small side. She used her shoulder to help Sunmask move Skypaw up onto Lionfang's back, afraid that her claws would slip and Skypaw would fall. She kept them firmly rooted into the ground just so that fear would go away. With both Beepaw and her aunt working together, getting Skypaw up onto Lionfang wasn't as hard as she'd feared. She let out a sigh of relief, glad that they could likely start getting back to camp.

Lionfang with Sunmask, Beepaw, and Skypaw || Four Trees
Lionfang nodded to Sunmask, lying down as he'd been told. He wondered how he'd ever blamed her for Brighteyes - she was a talented medicine cat, and he was sure now that no one else could have done any better. As Sunmask and Beepaw lifted Skypaw, he was surprised by how heavy they seemed. Because of their size, he'd expected them to be lighter, but being dead weight probably didn't help. Still, he knew he'd be able to bring them back to camp. He was convinced he could do it even if they weighed as much as one of the giant trees. He had to get Skypaw back to camp - there wasn't another choice.
Hail with Fallowkit, Frost, and siblings || Camp
Hail tilted his head in confusion as Fallowkit explained her name. While he understood it, he didn't know why they did it - it seemed very strange, he had no idea what a "rank" was. Still, he was willing to try it out. "Hail....kit?" He asked, trying to figure out what his own strange name would be. Before Fallowkit could give an answer, however, he smelled a very bad smell, and turned around to look behind Mama to see what was happening. It looked like new cats were coming in - no, he saw these cats before, when they first came. One of them didn't look very good. Hail looked up at Mama expectantly, thinking that she had some idea what was happening.

Lightdrop with Dappleface, Willowshine, and Amberwing
Seeing her mother come into camp, Lightdrop could feel her heart break. She looked awful - the steps she made were shaky, and Lightdrop wanted nothing more than to carry her by the scruff, like she'd done for Lightdrop when she was only a kit and got herself into trouble. She felt bad about getting angry with Rainstar, but she had no time to apologize. She couldn't have stopped herself from running over to Dappleface, even if she'd wanted to.
She had to remember how to breathe for a moment, as she stood next to Willowshine. "I'm here, Dappleface," she assured, choking up as she spoke. She shook her head and took deep breaths - when she'd gotten angry with Cloverkit, her mother had taught her to take deep breaths to calm down. "Will she be okay?" Lightdrop asked Willowshine, though she already knew the answer - she was pleading at this point, for some sort of hope. Dappleface couldn't leave her this soon, not like this. Lightdrop had always imagined her mother living a long life in the elder's den, and taking her own kits to go visit her some day. She never could have imagined something like this.
𝚛𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚢
Halfpaw with Mudrush || Camp
Halfpaw watched the group come into camp without saying a word - he didn't think he could, even if he wanted to. Dappleface had been Applepaw's mentor - he remembered being jealous of her, that she'd gotten the kind, patient molly and he'd gotten put with Mistydew. Dappleface had been there to be a mother for him when Redwood never was, and losing her would be devastating to the clan.
He followed after Mudrush, confused when he didn't see Sunmask. If Dappleface was this awful, it would only make sense for the medicine cat to come with. Had there been a cat even worse off? What could be worse than a snake? He wondered, slight fear prickling at his pelt. "Why wouldn't Sunmask come with?" He asked - or, really, it was toned more like a demand - in his own, Halfpaw way of showing concern.
Stormpool with Mistydew || Camp
Stormpool leaned close to Mistydew as she fretted about her own kits' manners. "I think it has something to do with losing his mother. That kind of thing leaves permanent scars," she murmured, speaking from his experience. While she hadn't witnessed her own mother die, she was still hurt by the abandonment. When she asked her question, Stormpool smiled. "Oh, that depends. Stonepaw and Riverpaw weren't too bad - there was only two of them, and they weren't the largest kits. The joy you feel is worth any pain you might go through. You're a strong cat, Mistydew, you'll be fine," she assured, a surprisingly sincere compliment. She did genuinely consider Mistydew a friend - one of her few.
As Dappleface entered camp, Stormpool couldn't help but feel her heart twist. They'd shared the apprentice's den throughout most of their apprenticeships, and the molly had been sure to help Stormpool out when Stonepaw and Riverpaw were young. She appreciated everything the tortoiseshell had done - her secret mate was a stain on her, but Stormpool overlooked that now.

(( ;.; dappleface… let her be surrounded by the cats she loves…))
Skypaw || on Lionfang’s back
The little apprentice breathed in and out, fighting the urge to flail uselessly as they were lifted onto their father’s back (and failed, kicking at least one foot as Sunmask and Beepaw heaved them up). Once they were, each movement sent another wave of fear through them. Although it hurt, they reach out to cling to their father’s fur like they were a little kit again, burying their nose into the nape of his neck, trying to draw comfort from his scent.
They closed their eyes tightly. This is fine, they tried to convince themself. They just have to endure it a little longer.

Tornheart || in camp with Thorntail and Brackenkit
Tornheart stayed quiet throughout the exchange, not wanting to interrupt. There was something wistful in his chest as he watched father and kit. He stood when Thorntail indicated it was time to get going, nodding as he led the way out of the medicine cat’s den.
“Last time I saw them, they were in the Four Trees,” he was telling the two when he saw Mudrush, leading the way for Willowshine, Amberwing, and Dappleface. For a split second, his heart bloomed with relief at the sight of Willowshine - though a little scuffed up, his friend looked okay, if not a bit tired. Then his eyes fell upon the molly she was supporting, and his heart dropped to the ground.
He couldn’t help himself. He rushed over to them, desperately trying to catch his old mentor’s gaze. “Dappleface,” he whispered, feeling everything break inside him again.
Mudrush stopped him firmly. There was soft sympathy in his eyes as he mewed, “We need to get Dappleface to the medicine cat’s den first, son.”
Shame flooded Tornheart, and he backed away. “Of course,” he whispered, looking over the group. “Where’s - where’s Sunmask?” He lifted his head, walking beside the cats instead of in their way. “Is she still at Four Trees? Does she still need help?” His eyes were still on Dappleface, still silently screaming inside. He can’t lose another mother.
@fallownose and ~Sapphire~
Mudrush || in camp with Willowshine, Dappleface, Amberwing, Lightdrop, and Halfpaw
Mudrush was careful to lead the cats directly to the medicine cat’s den, taking his job very seriously as he steered cats away with his gaze alone.
At the entrance, Mudrush had looked over Willowshine. Despite reassuring him that she wasn’t badly injured, her pelt still held evidence of a scuffle, and her eyes were weary. Biting back to urge to fuss over her wellbeing and waste time, he only dipped his head and turned to guide the cats into camp with a quiet wave of his tail.
At Halfpaw’s question (and Tornheart’s), Mudrush didn’t slow his step. “She’s still attending to Skypaw. Lightfang and Beepaw are with her - hopefully she’s on her way.”
They were almost at the den when Lightdrop ran up, and Mudrush’s heart ached for her. For just a moment, he had to close his eyes tightly, letting the pain shudder through him. “Lightdrop,” he murmured as they reached the medicine cat’s den, stepping aside to let the three cats through. “When Sunmask arrives, you’ll have to give her space to help your mother.” There lied an understanding in his eyes that could only come from experience. “Keep breathing,” he said, hoping to give the smallest amount of comfort as he rested a tail on her shoulder. His first instinct is to give her hope, but, just seeing Dappleface’s condition, he feared it would be in vain. “Dappleface is here now, safe. I’m sure your presence gives her courage.”
𝚛𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚢 and @nettles
Mistydew || with Stormpool
“Ah,” Mistydew said, nodding in a sympathetic air as she looked out over camp. Stormpool’s words only made her think of Cracklewood - would the lack of his presence weigh just as heavily on her own kits? At Stormpool’s compliment, though, she bowed her head to lick her chest. “Thank you,” she mewed with one of the only warm smiles she gives nowadays. How lucky was she to find a friend in the older molly?
She looked up at the parade of cats entering camp, alarmed to see Dappleface stumbling on her paws. “What’s this…?” she said in a soft mew, horrified. Dappleface had only ever been a kind cat to her, even reaching out after Cracklewood’s death. Mistydew had pushed her away then.
She slowly turned her head to Stormpool. “… Tornheart wasn’t the one bit by the snake, was he?” Mistydew said, the weight of the realization heavy upon her.
((despite their antagonistic nature built on social facade, i am so happy these two felines have found a genuine friendship in each other))

Frost - Nursery - Mentions: Fallowkit (@fallownose) and Kits (highprince and @nettles)Frost wasn't sure herself if she completely understood the naming ways that Fallowkit described. She mainly didn't see the point in it. Why keep changing the name? Wouldn't that get confusing? The scent of... was that blood? Whatever it was, it hurt her around the same time as it hit Hail. She glanced back and noticed the commotion, briefly remembering Darkfang mention there would be things occurring that she might not want her kits to see. "In we go, then," she said quickly, not looking to Hail's sweet, confused little face as she put two and two together easily enough and figured this was definitely not something she wanted her little ones to see. The strange den underneath a tree would be much better. Glancing back to Fallowkit, she began ushering her own brood into the little entrance. "Are you coming with?"

Thorntail - in camp - Tornheart, Brackenkit
Perhaps because he was tired, or because he was still preoccupied with thoughts of his kits and his lost mate, Thorntail took a moment to realise what had upset Brackenkit and Tornheart. It wasn't until Tornheart rushed away towards the cats who had just arrived that he noticed the extent of Dappleface's injuries. His stomach dropped. The older she-cat had looked out for him in the dark days after Wrebflight's death. Just like she'd looked out for every one of their Clanmates. CedarClan would be a much poorer place if Dappleface didn't make it.
Reflexively, Thorntail swept Brackenkit closer to him with his tail, wanting to give the kit what little protection he could. Seeing Tornheart's lost expression as he backed away from Dappleface hurt. Thorntail walked up to the other tom and cleared his throat awkwardly, his voice gruff. "Don't... You..." He couldn't find any comforting words. He never could. "Forget it, let's just get Sunmask."

Fallowkit // in the nursery, then the clearing // with Frost, Brackenkit, and Thorntail
Fallowkit hardly heard Frost's question as she beckoned her kits into the nursery. "N-no... I need to be with them," she answered the tabby she-cat without taking her eyes off Dappleface. Her paws carried her across the clearing to where Brackenkit stood by Thorntail. "What happened?" she whispered to her brother, fear making her fur stand on end. She pressed close to him and watched as Dappleface was guided into the medicine den by the older warriors.
Brackenkit // in the clearing // with Fallowkit, Thorntail,
Fallowkit's scent drifted around Brackenkit as she joined him by the medicine den after their father stepped away. "I think Dappleface was bit by the snake," he answered her in a small voice, feeling his throat catch on the words. Wrapping his tail around Fallowkit's small frame, he pulled her closer and touched his nose to her ear. "It'll be okay," he said out loud, knowing that he had to be strong for her. He was the only one she could rely on.
Brackenkit listened silently as Thorntail spoke to Tornheart, but he knew he couldn't go with the warriors now. He wanted to be with Dappleface. At least he could maybe say goodbye, since he didn't get the chance with his mother. Brackenkit walked over to his father with Fallowkit trailing behind him. "I know you said I could leave the camp with you, but..." He glanced back at Fallowkit, seeing the emotion glistening in her eyes. "We want to be with Dappleface."
Not wanting to see the disappointment in Thorntail's expression, Brackenkit turned away and headed for Mudrush, where he stood at the entrance to the medicine den. Brackenkit looked up at the older tom, hoping his voice didn't break as he spoke. "Before Sunmask gets here, can we see Dappleface?"

Ashenlight listened carefully, making a note to herself to remember the name of the cat in front of her. She then took a moment to try and think back to who Hazel could have even belonged to. The first cat that came to mind was Coldfern, perhaps the she-cat had taken one of her kits with her when she left the clan, but Ashenlight swore she'd only had two kits. Before she'd been quietly thinking for too long, the silver and black molly noticed that Hazel seemed to be looking for a response.
She clears her throat and shifts her paws a bit awkwardly, not entirely sure what to do about the whole situation. Ashenlight sighs softly and glances around, as if checking to see if any cats were coming, even though she knows they're alone. "I don't think I'm the right cat who can answer that." She tells her, finally. "I also don't think now is the best time to bring you by the camp, we've already run into a rogue and her kits today, I'm sure another isn't going to make cats happy." Ashenlight has to think again, her tail tip twitching.
"Alright, if you can find shelter to stay near the border I can send for you to come back to the clan once I've been able to find a moment to speak about it with Rainstar. I can't promise that it'll happen anytime soon, but I'll try to get it done before the end of the moon" Her different colored eyes scan Hazel, hoping that it would be enough for the she-cat to accept. Part of her feels like she just should've chased off the younger molly by now, but her claim to be of Cedarclan blood interested her and she felt it was something to look into. "Just be careful where you hunt and try not to cross into the territory or some other cats might pick up your scent."
Willowshine fought the tears that threatened to spill as she felt Dappleface nuzzle against her. "We're almost there, a few more steps and then you can get comfortable." She promised the older she-cat, swallowing thickly and forcing herself to calm down. She would not allow herself to freak out, not in front of Dappleface, she had to be strong for her. After she gets the words out, she notices Lightdrop bounding their way. Again, she keeps up her stoney expression, for if she were to show how she was truly feeling, she might just break down.
"I...don't know how to answer that." Willowshine spoke truthfully. "Sunmask gave her something to stabilize the effects in order to get back to camp, I'm sure she has an idea of what to do when she returns with Skypaw." She added, letting Lightdrop know all that she knew. So many cats were beginning to approach them now, it was making it hard for Willowshine to focus, though there was one cat that made her lose focus altogether. Her eyes land on Tornheart and immediately the only thing she wants to do is run to him and allow herself to get lost in his fur, wanting to feel calm and relaxed by his side. However, that would have to hold off for a while.
She recognizes the shame as it sets in his face as Mudrush reminds him that they must get Dappleface into the medicine cats den, and she wants to yell at him that it's alright and that he's allowed to be worried, but she knows she must keep her attention on the she-cat on her side. Willowshine is immensely grateful for her father as he answers the rest of the questions everyone seems to have, and grateful for him guiding them and making sure they have a clear path. Eventually, they manage to get inside of the den and Willowshine is careful as she guides Dappleface down into one of the nests. "Rest up, Sunmask will be here soon." She whispers, giving the trembling she-cat a comforting lick to her ear.
With that, she backs away and stays outside near the entrance where the others seem to be. She makes room for Lightdrop to enter the den in order to be by her mothers side, wanting the two to get some alone time. Immediately after, the fluffy she-cat approaches Tornheart and presses her side against the tom. With Dappleface no longer trembling beside her, Willowshine realizes that she'd been shaking the whole time and that as yet to stop, even now as she sticks close to Tornheart. "I'm so happy you're okay." She whispers to him, biting back her whimpers.
Rainstar watched nervously from a distance as her sister and Amberwing guided Dappleface into the medicine cats den, she watched as others approached and asked their questions, she watched as their father tried his best to take over the situation as best he could. She watched, and it infuriated her that that was all she could do. Once they disappear into the medicine cats den, Rainstar begins to approach the group, padding carefully.
She can hear Brackenkit and Fallowkit approaching again as well, the young tom asking Mudrush if they could see the injured she-cat. Before her father could speak up, Rainstar interjected instead. "As much as I'm sure Dappleface would love to see everyone right now, you must allow her time to spend with her own daughter." The blue molly spoke to the youngest tom, crouching down so they were more on the same level. "Once they've had their moment and once Sunmask comes back and lets everyone know that Dappleface is ready for visitors, then you may go see her." She promises Brackenkit. Rainstar sits up now, her green eyes scanning the group of cats once more and she locks eyes with her sister, relaxing more as she realizes Willowshine really is safe and back at camp.
"Let's move away from the den, Sunmask is sure to return soon with Skypaw and I don't think she'll appreciate a crowd." She tells the others, dismissing them. Though, she turns to Mudrush and leans over to him. "Will you stay? Make sure to be here if Dappleface or Lightdrop call for anything?" She whispers to him, bright green gaze flickering up at him.

Hazel - border - Ashenlight
Hazel figeted a little as she waited for Ashenlight's response. When Ashenlight said "I also don't think now is the best time to bring you by the camp" Hazel dropped her head in disappointment and almost didn't hear the rest of what the silver she-cat said.
"That's fine, I can-" she was about to say, when she realised Ashenlight was still talking. Hazel beamed at Ashenlight. "Thank you! I won't cross the border again, I promise, and I'll stay in this area so you can find me." Sensing that Ashenlight was about to leave, she asked quickly, hoping she wasn't overstepping too many boundarues, "Hey, do you know the other rogue's name? I probably don't know her since I'm not from here, but you never know. And also, could you tell me yours? That way if I meet another CedarClan cat, I can tell them you said I could stay near your territory."
(Fallow - I'll reply to your post after Willow posts)
