We could just choose to include the council thing more in all of the Clans, because it is a nice addition that is rarely used, but not just a ThunderClan tradition.

I know where Ivy stands on this, so I'm going to say I acknowledge what she said.
I feel like it should be more common knowledge, like when a senior warrior is addressed as a senior warrior. (Despite our age chart.)
I think there were at least three times during the first two or three books in the first arc where Bluestar called for her senior warriors. I also remember a leader approaching elders. I know they serve a purpose, but they are also retired and are meant to enjoy that retirement instead of getting up every time a leader needs help. |

I'm fine with switching it to all the clans too and giving ThunderClan a new one. I feel that it's important for the clans to look to their older members (like senior warriors & elders) when they need them in at a difficult time.

Okay, so we're moving it or are we just taking it off? I feel like if we all do it, then it'll carry on in the role-play.
Oof, I'm late. I think we can move RiverClan to newleaf maybe? I think that would be better and aimed more at them celebrating the thaw. If we want to make it more different, then ThunderClan could make the competition around the season and the promise of kits. |

We could do that and I think moving it might still be a good idea because I feel it'd help with others joining with 'older' warriors or elders.

We could do a reminder, then. I was more concerned about it being seen as ThunderClan when it's a common thing. I think it happened in CP as well but I reread it so much.

Leapkit Hey, are you able to find any pictures for Teaselstar? I can't find any with what you said he was. I usually use the warrior cat creator by neikoish for my character designs. But i'm surprised you didn't find any considering theres a lott that come up when you type in oriental shorthair

Also just to chime in, I like the idea that the senior warriors and elders hold weight in it. It gives people more of an incentive to rp them. I find it quite difficult to rp as an elder because most of the time it seems like there's just nothing to do except cause drama in camp and die.

I know I don't want us picking Clans to be secondaries to because that leaves an odd man out. For territory placement rotation, we have like four options? WindClan > RiverClan > ShadowClan > ThunderClan > SkyClan > Back to WindClan. Or.. SkyClan > ThunderClan > ShadowClan > RiverClan > WindClan > Back to SkyClan. Third option would be kinda weird as it's a bounce, so.. SkyClan > RiverClan > WindClan > ThunderClan > ShadowClan. The other would be reversed. I think alphabetical and the two first territory placements would work.
So, for this, a secondary leader only gets power to accept people for a Clan they don't own if the leader and mod(s) are gone. They also keep an eye and make sure things are running smoothly. If there is a Gathering and they are having to run both their own and a secondary, they will only have the Clan show at Fourtrees and report the news. Was rereading this. I don't understand what you mean by the order of who backs up who as a secondary leader. Like, does the RiverClan admin back up the WindClan admin in the first set of rotations or...? Can you clarify? |

Im not sure I follow either but if youre asking what I think youre asking I don't think I'd be able to handle both WindClan and being a backup for another clan too.
I don't want to overextend myself to something idk if I'd be able to handle. So we'd be short there anyway.
I think what we may need is a few extra hands from the community who have managed clans before to step up that may not have felt like helping in the planning?

So with the back-ups, it's meant to make sure every Clan is covered if the admin and their mod will be gone on any important days or not on for a few days. So, say Ivy and I were not able to get on for a few days and we went alphabetical. Leap would be responsible for making sure ThunderClan is still going smoothly and if Ivy and I were unable to attend the Gathering, Leap would come up with which cats goes for ThunderClan and only announces the news for ThunderClan as my leader. When Ivy or I come back, we would resume our days and Leap would focus on WindClan once more. I believe having the people that are currently running the Clans help each other out is a better idea instead of recruiting people just to be mods. That's not how we should give positions that have a high ranking and could also interfere with how our Clans run should be. I think for now, we should only have one mod. If a Clan needs another, then I think it should be discussed with the others as well. I'm not keen on allowing someone to come in that didn't help just become a mod because watching a Clan for a few days would be too much when the favor would also be returned. We need to work together. |

an update & announcement 25/5/2020 hi! A majority of the tasks we have are completed. Currently, Owl (@/owlflight) is proofreading through them. She will be checking each post on the information page and offering suggestions, errors, and feedback. We also have some loose ends to tie up. Until all of that is covered, the clans will not be posted. The layouts are close to being completed, but they are in a draft. Until they are fully finished with the updated information that Owl has proofread, they will not be posted. Same goes for the other threads. As for the role-play board itself, I need to check in with Roswell. On to the topic that's most necessary right now. High positions; we have four (4) positions open. They are the following: - RiverClan Deputy
- SkyClan Medicine Cat
- ThunderClan Medicine Cat
- WindClan Medicine Cat
If you are interested in one of these positions, you may only apply for one of them. It is not a moderator position. Also, please be aware that even if you apply and you are not chosen, you are more than welcome to join the role-play once it is completed! <3 - a joining form (of your character)
- you need to provide an example of a role-play post whether it is a link to a past role-play or a written response
- you need to provide an activity rate; please check the front page of this thread for more details
- you must be willing to role-play with a Clan Owner & Role-play Moderator if chosen

I don't really care for this idea to put them in the allegiances. It would require more lines of code, plus depending on the amount of characters someone joins with, it'll just add more to it all. I need to check how many lines I'm at right now. With BBCode, you don't have the options you do with HTML & CSS. Everything goes into one post instead of two separate files. I think people would be better off with including them in their role-play posts because... how often does one look at the allegiances? Maybe a few times after joining? Though I'm rather curious now. PM me an example? |

I would love to see everyone sharing art of their characters drawn by fellow forumers but with their role-play posts. Art over stock brings out a creative originality. Though stock images can work as well. As an artist myself, I personally prefer art. I think we can "hire" some artists to help with our prizes though? Are we still doing those contests? |
