Yup, gonna be moving Baletuft to SkyClan with a pending name change
And Shriketalon will be brought in with his weirdness to WindClan.

Baletuft = Downtuft, Turkeyfeather, or Ashbird. I like the first but opinions loved. He’s a fluffy gray tom
Shriketalon = Moleclaw, Snowstone, or Stoatfang. Kinda like the last one

I'm good with that, Smore! Thunder, Wind, and Shadow will need 2 more traditions. Sky and River will only need 1 more. And then for all 5 clans, we'll just need 1 more. I agree, Rain, we don't need the history; it'll take up space on the page and I don't find it necessary to include. I'm down for doing the legacies though, they'd be a lot cooler to include. I like your first option for the leader legacy idea. Sounds good! I'll think about what traditions we can add. We should avoid sharing same-but-differing-due-to-territory/characteristic among the Clans, as I'm afraid we're doing that a little bit. Off the top of my head, I can think of contests and feasts but I haven't had much sleep. I'm considering sleeping early tonight and working hard tomorrow.
The first option will take up less space.
I would be very cautious with staking some name claims with their respective Clans yet because I can see us getting off-topic. I do like your names, though. |

Sky tradition: cats will look for colorful fallen leaves and use them as a way to mark which bedding belongs to which cat
“You can’t sleep there, that’s a woodpecker feather, that’s Downtuft’s moss!”
Perhaps RiverClan has a taboo habit the others don’t know about.
Since they tend to have twolegs show up, some cats will either steal or accept food from them. It’s done only as last resort, yet there’s still stigma around it.

The ability to communicate, even roughly with dogs is something highly prized in WindClan. The few who know how either were taught by loners, or were originally loners or kittypets. It’s notoriously hard to teach and to learn:
I know but it’s like: whenever I take stuff to go to bed my mind just fills with ideas I know I’ll forget if I don’t remember put them down. And I get more ideas if I stretch it out

Another possible ShadowClan/any clan tradition could be like, before a warrior retires, they get to lead one last night patrol or something like that? Idk just some sort of thing like “hey, what do you wanna do before you become an elder?” If that makes sense??? Plus so far, most of the traditions are for the apprentices and I feel like the old cats deserve some stuff too

Those don't seem bad, honestly I only got dream because I was gonna go with Sleepy but it seemed too off putting.
Okay some other windclan traditions;
They have the cats who visit them, the loners or whatever in Tallstar's SE would we do something similar? I think it's a cool idea for the clan, having a strange group of cat visit and share prey/beds with Windclan ones. ooh, I found it finally. I like that! The other clans may find it weird, but WindClan maybe does it in honor of Tallstar? |

I agree, it being more of a secret tradition would be cool. I also like the idea of it causing problems with half loner/half WindClan kits which the clan may or may not approve of when it becomes an inner issue.

ThunderClan Traditions: -apprentices catching an adder from Snakerocks RiverClan Traditions: -apprentices having to be strong enough to swim upstream -fishing contest, with a feast that night to celebrate the start of Greenleaf WindClan Traditions: -apprentices doing a spotting assignment (sitting on a rock and talking to their mentor about what they saw) -outsiders visit WindClan and they share prey and beds for a day; sometimes this leads half Clan and half outsider kits ShadowClan Traditions: -apprentices having to spend a night alone (or with another apprentice) in the forest SkyClan Traditions: -apprentices learning to hunt in the trees alone -apprentices climbing up a tree to prove their strong enough and leaving their claw marks on the high branches Shared Traditions: -seasonal feasts -claw-moon tournaments -shadowing -journey to High Stones
I tried to keep it short for the list Basing off of this, we could have 5 shared traditions between the clans, and 3 unique traditions for each clan?? |

RiverClan
Druid's Leap - An old twoleg bridge that goes across the gorge and allows RiverClan access to Fourtrees when the river is high.
Morgan's Farm - A farm at the edge of RiverClan's territory to the southwest. It's rather small and rarely are there any problems caused by the farm animals.
Gorge - A deep ridge cut by the river that acts as the border with WindClan. Apprentices are forbidden to go near it.
Sunningrocks - A large granite rock formation on the river's eastern shore. The rocks are flat, allowing cats to easily lay atop them. It's a popular sunbathing area that RiverClan and ThunderClan frequently battle for.
Babbling Brook - A narrow part of the river going through RiverClan's territory that's known for being very rocky. It's easy to slip and hurt yourself if you're not careful, however it's a calming place to be, and the background noise makes it a good place to go if you don't want to be overheard by nosy Clanmates.
Pebble Beach - The most shallow part of the river, and a very popular spot for most RiverClan cats. Queens will sometimes bring their kits to pebble beach to collect shiny stones and practice their swimming in a relatively safe environment.
Rustling Willow - A beautiful, ancient willow that overhangs near the widest part of the river. Many RiverClan cats gather here during the hottest parts of the day in Greenleaf for the shade provided.
RiverClan Camp - A well-drained island surrounded by the river and reeds. While more open compared to the other Clans' camps, the other Clans' fear of water has allowed the camp to have never once been attacked.
Greetings, traveler. I see you have faced the water and made your way to our camp. You may call me Riverstar, I'm the founder of RiverClan, and this is where my Clan has made their home. Reeds surround our camp, and we are lucky that the reeds are enough protection for our camp considering the river keeps most cats away. In the center of camp our Clanmates can stretch out and share tongues. A tangle of reeds makes up the warriors' den, and to the right is the nursery, where our queens and kits make their home. As the nursery is the den closest to the river, the walls are thickly built to keep it from floating away when the river rises. The reason for the nursery being so close to the river is so that kits can get used to the water, and with the watchful eyes of the queens they can learn how to swim and learn that getting wet isn't something to be afraid of. To the other side of camp are the tangles of reeds that make up the elders' den, leader's den, apprentices' den, and the medicine cat's den. The roof of every den is decorated with beautiful rocks, shells, and feathers that have been woven in with careful paws. Near the leader's den is a group of three smooth stones known as the Speaking Stones; this is where the Clan leader gives their announcements to the Clan.
