Jimmy groaned as he rubbed his lower back, which was still sore from his tumble at the climbing wall the other day. He made his way towards the forest, figuring some time under the trees might do him some good. He'd smuggled a plate of fruit from the dining pavilion, cradling a folded handkerchief full of grapes, apples, and strawberries in the crook of his arm. With his mind still elsewhere, he almost doesn't notice Cat when he passes her, doing a double take and backtracking when he spots her out of the corner of his eye. "Cat! Hey! Hi, it's Jimmy."

Juniper was lounging right on the climbing wall, not doing any climbing as she picked at a hangnail. She had planned on improving her time, but when she got to the wall she'd lost all motivation to do so. It was a generally boring day, and all of her siblings seemed to be doing their own thing at the moment. The brunette was about to just leave and head to the beach when she spots Roxana headed her way. A wide grin graces her lips and she pushes off of the wall to approach the much shorter girl. "Hey, Roxana. You tryin' to get some climb time in?" The Hephaestus girl wasn't someone she'd go out of her way to talk to, but someone was better than no one.

Cat’s hands paused as she heard Jimmy’s greeting and tilted her head in his general direction, “Hey, Jimmy. What are you up to?” She asked, placing a bookmark in her spot and closing the book.
“H-hey, Juniper.” Roxana said, stopping as she got close, a little surprised Juniper was talking to her. Most of the Aphrodite kids tended to ignore her besides Shard. “Um, y-yeah. I wanted to t-try to get to the top this time.”

Cat laid a hand on her bag, “Just some ingredients for a few potions I’ve been wanting to try out.” She said, tapping the book with her other hand. “Obsidian gave me this the other day but I didn’t have everything for the ones I found interesting.” She gave a light smile at why he was out here, “A picnic sounds nice. Are you just looking for a spot then? You’re welcome to sit here if you would like.”
Roxana had just been scrambling her mind to find a topic to talk about with her and was coming up empty handed, so she felt relieved that Juniper had spoken first, “W-well, I found m-most of them, b-but some I made m-myself.” She said, mentally cursing her stutter. Her siblings had recently been trying to get her to talk to other people besides just them, but stepping outside her comfort zone was a lot harder then they made it out to be.

“Oh, thank you.” Cat said, taking up his offer and felt around until she found the fruit and grabbed one, “Nothing too crazy. Just a couple of health and stamina potions. I’m not quite ready for the more complicated ones.”
Roxana gave her a shy nod, “I-is there a specific design y-you would like?” She asked. Roxana didn’t mind making hair ornaments for people, she actually enjoyed making small things like that. And Juniper seemed like a nice girl, even though she hadn’t really talked to the Aphrodite girl before, “I have some e-extras in my work space.” She added.

Cat gave a light shrug, “The complicated ones are the ones that call for rarer ingredients. A truth serum or a love potion could be classified as complicated, but I have no reason to make either of those.” She said, nibbling on a strawberry.
“Oh, s-sure. D-did you want to g-go now then?” Roxana asked, her fingers fidgeting with the ends of her braids as she spoke. She couldn’t remember if she had cleaned up her work space or not, and was hoping Juniper didn’t mind a bit of a mess if she had forgotten to clean up after herself after all.

(sorry Flamestar96 for taking so long to reply, i had a busy week and then replying kept slipping my mind ^^) Her laugh rings out softly as she chuckles, giving Blaze a reassure smiling and kissing his cheek. "I know what you meant." Josie tells him in a soothing tone, playing with his hair for a bit before she wraps her arms around him. She glances around as they head towards her cabin, not seeing a lot of people around. In the distance she can make out the flickering glow of the bonfire from the dining pavilion, noticing some campers lingering around at the tables. Then her head lifts at his question, meeting his warm gaze as she shakes her head. "Think we're in the clear." She confirms, feeling a wave of relief once they're finally behind closed doors. The one nice thing about having so few siblings was that she could at least have some privacy in her cabin from time to time. "Mind putting me down now, so I can change?" ----- Maybe at another time she would've just let his words roll off of her, but in her current mood they sting a little more than she usually let them. But Frances is smart enough to know he's not bluffing, so she reclines back against a different tree branch. Her eyes narrowed at Shadow's next statement, trying to think of what he meant by that. She warily looks to the shadows of the tree, squinting at them and wondering if he was implying that he could watch her through them. She doesn't spend much time pondering the thought anymore. "Hm," Frances hummed, "maybe I'm just being dramatic." She could at least recognize the truth in that statement before she purses her lips, still thinking that her feelings were somewhat valid. "Can I ask you a question?" I'm so sorry! I have been on one Hades off a ride. Yesterday, I worked a 14.5 hour shift from 11:15 AM to 1:45 AM. I am so glad I'm off today lol but sadly I got to do it again next Thursday, but I have to be back in at work at 10:15 AM Friday.) Unlike Josie, privacy was something that didn't exist very much with his cabin. His siblings were constantly in and out of the cabin, whether going to the Forge, bringing stuff back to the cabin to work on once the curfew was called. How they passed inspections sometimes was beyond himself. Blushing from her statement, Blaze carefully set Josie's feet down onto the floor of the cabin. All they needed was for either one to hurt themselves and someone have to come help them finding about their little sleepover. "This cabin still creeps me out, no offense" Blaze muttered as he tried to avoid the gaze of the Zeus statue. "I like thunderstorms, but not if it means I'm going to be struck down by the King of the Olympians." ----------------- As the moon cast lots of long shadows across the trees in the forest, Shadow's eyes would occasionally dart toward specific shadows. Sometimes a glare would follow, but other times a simple sad face would appear. He was having slight conversations with the shadows, but they weren't just shadows. "Most likely," Shadow murmured, a hint of a smirk crossing his face. "Yes what is it?" His eyes were still looking across the night sky, gazing on two constellations close to one another. |

Just part of it.” He gave a small smirk, brow lifting lightly as he spoke. “I have more than enough stamina to go all day, if that’s what you’re asking.” |

She moved to go past him to continue on with her walk, “Guess I’ll leave you to it then,” she said, giving a small wave, “sorry if I interrupted.” Echo wasn’t quite sure how she felt for Mathias, and every time she would try and figure it out, all she felt was one conflicting feeling after the next.

(Sure! Start for me?) "Echo." Mathias called suddenly after her, his voice neither forceful nor gentle. He took in a breath, before turning away from the tree he had beaten half to a pulp. He quirked his lip a bit, rumbling out. "Don't apologize. Interrupt me as much as you want. I'm thinking of going to the lake sometime tonight. If you want, you could come by. Better company than most of the people here, that's for sure." He admitted, inwardly blanching at how genuine he sounded. His usual snark didn't seem to find its way into his invitation this time. Whether or not she said yes or no, he at least wanted to offer. |

Yeah same! I'm actually transition from College Program to PT, at Disney and maybe even FT here soon! I'm hoping to be online a little bit more, but my new apartment is having internet issues so hopefully it's fixed by tomorrow)
