The day felt like weeks on end, yet their relationship had only just started earlier in the morning. Blaze was beyond grateful to have been guided by whatever had told his instincts that the lake was a perfect place to go this morning. "Okay, what about your cabin? I'm sure they won't know if a sleepover happens," Blaze said with a small chuckle. "Sadly, all your gonna hear from mine is someone banging on metals with a hammer or something." He wasn't exactly wrong, sometimes he wondered how he got any sleep inside that cabin. Maybe it was because he rigged his bunk to allow for a sound proof headphones to slide over his head while he slept. As he stepped out of the stables, Blaze kept Josie close to him as they treaded carefully through the darken camp.

"I hate everyone," he muttered but that was a lie. He didn't hate everyone. There was one person at this camp he was quite fond of, yet he kept his distance from them as he already knew they would likely never be fond of him. Shadow's eyes never left the darkness of the sky, grateful for the magical barrier making the night sky clearer than anywhere else in New York. Huh, so fireboy and thundergirl... interesting pair. I give it a couple weeks then they will be bored of one another. Shadow shook his head slightly before speaking once more. "If they just got together today, then maybe it was more of they were just having fun. It can get weird when a good friend finds someone other than yourself to focus on. He most likely is just wanting to spend time with her. You both have been friends for as long as I remember see you two. There are going to be times when you can't always be together." For once, he was shocked to have worded something like this so easily. He wasn't very good at relationships, but the pieces felt like they were laid out in front of him and all Shadow did was connect the dots.

A sleepover. It's just a couple of simple words, but it's enough to get Josie blushing for whatever reason. she wasn't one to go around breaking rules, and throughout her whole time at camp she never snuck anyone into her cabin. She's leaning down to lay her head on Blaze's shoulder while he carries her, an attempt to hide her flushing face. Josie didn't want him to think that she was thinking of any impure thoughts, because she wasn't. "We can definitely go to my cabin," she tells him before quickly adding, "there's some extra beds in there anyways." Josie just didn't want to assume they'd be sharing hers. Plus, all of the beds had to be twin sized for a reason. It's not like she would deny him if he did want to cuddle up.

Frances raises a brow when he says that, not believing him for a second. She just didn't believe that there was a person in the world who could hate everyone they came across. But, she doesn't argue with Shadow. "Maybe." She says with a sigh, recognizing that there was some truth to what he said. While he's refused to look at her the whole time, Fran keeps her hazel gaze on him. She scans his face, like she's trying to commit him to memory. He's a lot more handsome than she remembers, something she could admire without giving it anymore thought, and in the dark of the night his eyes almost look black. Fran moves again, shifting into a more comfortable position and trying to near just the slightest bit closer to him. "I guess I knew something like this was gonna happen one day, but I at least thought I'd see it coming. I'm not very good with change, and now that I don't have Blaze to hang out with, I don't really know who else. Not all of us can be loners." There was some attempt at a joke towards the end, the slightest hint of a smile at her lips.

Blaze's question of sleeping in Josie's cabin was one of pure innocence as nothing more than sleeping and cuddling was on his mind with his new girlfriend. Well maybe a little bit of kissing, a thought causing a little bit of his cheeks to blush. Then when she mentioned about extra beds, his face turned the shade of a tomato and he felt his ears warm to a temperature higher than normal. "Uhhh... Th-that's not what I meant," he stumbled attempting to backpedal the miscued intentions. As they got closer to the cabins, Blaze's face changed as he kept glancing in each direction to see if anyone was watching for them to go into Josie's cabin. A few more yards and they were on the back side of her cabin, heading around to the front. "Anyone see us?" Blaze asked carried her into the cabin after opening the door with one hand.

"If you move any closer to me, I will disappear without a word. Meaning you will be out in the forest by yourself... at night" Shadow growled through clenched teeth. "Just because I am not watching you with my eyes doesn't mean something else isn't." He didn't elaborate any further as to what he was referencing aside from shaking his head in the opposite direction of Frances. His eyes moved back to the night sky, but his attention was focused more than ever. He understood her apprehension at change, but change was inevitable. "Who said you wouldn't be hanging out with Blaze any longer? If I'm not mistaken, Josie isn't a very scary person to talk with. I'm sure she would understand if you wanted to spend some time with him," Shadow muttered. "I can clearly see that is true." A small scoff come from his throat as he dismissed her last statement. He needed no one, which was why he didn't mind the silence the forest offered sometimes.

"Alright, alright." Levin conceded, his voice becoming less jittery and alot more steady as he looked at Phoenix with an unwavering stare. "I guess the jig is up. You caught me red handed. I know about your camp... because I'm a God's kid too..." He trailed off, voice suddenly becoming nervous. "I wanted to see if it was true, that people like you... and like me, have a safe place to go. Now, I guess you proved it." He started, playing his cards close to his chest. Now was the time to gain her trust and get close to the campers to really get the party going. Pheonix only relaxed a little bit at learning he was a demigod too, but she still didnโt entirely trust him, โWhoโs your godly parent?โ She asked, eyeing him and trying to guess who it could be. |

Echo had started her day in the training area, working on her sword skills and trying out some new complicated moves. Once she was finished with her exercise, she decided to take a walk along the edge of the forest, wanting to try and clear her mind for a bit.

"Ahh. They're nobody important, at least compared to the other Gods and Goddesses, I've heard." Levin admitted, lifting his hand up and creating an illusion of a rainbow in his hand. He smiled awkwardly and lied. "Iris. I know... kinda lame, just making rainbows and stuff but... I guess it's enough to make monsters chase after me." He lowered his hand. "Sorry about earlier. I didn't know who to trust around here."
Mathias was practicing his strikes in the forest, fists striking hard against the bark of one of the trees. He grunted at each strike, though his form and precision were incredibly sharp and trained. The son of Ares did this often, as many of the trees bore marks or gouges from his rough training. He stopped as soon as he heard movement near him, but quickly relaxed when he spotted Echo.

Levin swore, waving his hands quickly. "All I wanted to do was to see if you helped people like I was told. Which... yeah. Telling by all that, you can." He brightened again. "Seriously, that power of yours is incredible! I couldn't get anymore jealous if I tried." He joked. Mathias took in a few deep breaths and offered a grin. Wiping the splinters and wood fragments from his hands, he ignored the the shallow scratches along his calloused knuckles. "I prefer working with bones and metal, but a good tree or two makes for a solid trainer." He walked from the trees, approaching Echo. "I like to think my style is pretty unique. Coming out here to watch me? You could always just ask, you know." He rumbled, teasing and snarky. |

Phoenix huffed and put her sword away, โWell, I hope your question is answered then. And thereโs nothing to be jealous of.โ She snapped, turning on her heel and stomping off back towards the camp border. โIf youโre here to join the camp, youโll have to find and talk to Chiron.โ She said over her shoulder.
Echo arched an eyebrow at him and gave a shake of her head, โWhy would I want to watch you when I have better things to do?โ She asked, feigning a confused face.

Levin wanted nothing more than to snicker at the woman, knowing then that he had succeeded in getting her to lead him right into the camp. Even so, he could tell she was less than fond of her abilities. It would make it much easier to worm his way into her mind, and toy with her self-consciousness. He allowed himself to look a bit cowed though, instead scrambling to catch up to her and coughing out. "Oh! Uh, yeah, that would be great! One thing though... who's Chiron?"
"Better things to watch than me? Or better things to do than me?" Mathias returned the feigned innocence, though a wicked little glint filled his eyes before he turned and scoffed a small laugh. "You're the one who made your way out here to where I was first, so. You tell me, Echo. You going for a stroll or something?"

โJust go to the Big House and ask for him, Iโm sure youโll figure it out.โ Phoenix huffed, not happy with the stunt he had pulled. Demigods stumbled into the camp all the time, she was sure one of the other campers would help him if he really needed it.
โBoth.โ Echo deadpanned to his first question and rolled her eyes at him, โIโm just out on a walk.โ She said, crossing her arms.

Levin followed her, eyes flickering almost hungrily around the camp as they got closer. Of course he knew of all the buildings and all the Demigods here, and yet he knew he had to act dumb. It was certainly an easy task to do. "Woah... this place is amazing! Not to uh... sound dumb or anything, but are we talking about the largest house here, or is it just called the Big House? Both?" He pressed.
Mathias glanced back at Echo before he stretched his arms out. There was a sense of warmth in him each time he could goad Echo into this sort of banter. She was certainly the kind of woman he could admit he could fall for. Even so, admitting that had never been his strong suit. Keeping her dancing around him was good enough, for now. "Yeah, I guessed as much. In all seriousness, it's a good day for it. I lost track of time out here, I guess. Didn't expect anyone to pass by."

โYou canโt miss it.โ Phoenix said flatly, pushing her way out of the forest and back into the camp. She gestured in the direction of the Big House before turning towards the infirmary to get her arm looked at. Phoenix could feel her frustration building with this demigod, annoyance clear in her tone.
Echo gave a shrug, โOnly a matter of time before someone came by.โ She said, โHave you been out here all day?โ She asked.

(sorry Flamestar96 for taking so long to reply, i had a busy week and then replying kept slipping my mind ^^) Her laugh rings out softly as she chuckles, giving Blaze a reassure smiling and kissing his cheek. "I know what you meant." Josie tells him in a soothing tone, playing with his hair for a bit before she wraps her arms around him. She glances around as they head towards her cabin, not seeing a lot of people around. In the distance she can make out the flickering glow of the bonfire from the dining pavilion, noticing some campers lingering around at the tables. Then her head lifts at his question, meeting his warm gaze as she shakes her head. "Think we're in the clear." She confirms, feeling a wave of relief once they're finally behind closed doors. The one nice thing about having so few siblings was that she could at least have some privacy in her cabin from time to time. "Mind putting me down now, so I can change?" ----- Maybe at another time she would've just let his words roll off of her, but in her current mood they sting a little more than she usually let them. But Frances is smart enough to know he's not bluffing, so she reclines back against a different tree branch. Her eyes narrowed at Shadow's next statement, trying to think of what he meant by that. She warily looks to the shadows of the tree, squinting at them and wondering if he was implying that he could watch her through them. She doesn't spend much time pondering the thought anymore. "Hm," Frances hummed, "maybe I'm just being dramatic." She could at least recognize the truth in that statement before she purses her lips, still thinking that her feelings were somewhat valid. "Can I ask you a question?" |

Cat sat under a tree at the edge of the forest, her bag full with herbs and mushrooms that she had been collecting earlier sat next to her and a book written in braille sat on her lap. Her fingers ran over the pages lightly as she read about the uses of the herbs that she had gathered and the different potions she could use them for as well.
Roxana had left the forge for the day and was trying to decide what she should do next, hoping that whatever she decided to do that there wouldnโt be to many campers nearby. Talking to the other campers was difficult for her, having failed many times to get a full sentence out without stumbling over her words or rushing through them. She heaved a sigh and shook her head, moving towards the climbing wall.
