“Oh yes, since a knee to my boys was such a distraction. You have singlehandedly reduced my chances of ever having kids. I hope you are proud.” Mathias retorted, though his voice held no venom, instead coming out with sarcasm as he met her banter. “The flag is ours if our damned team decides to stick to the plan.” He muttered, still a bit bitter about what had happened. He stood near Echo, looking around the dining hall.

A faint noise echoed from just outside the camp borders, just beyond the barrier. The person seemed to be humming to himself as he walked steadily through the forest. He paused, turning ever so slightly as soon as he heard footsteps. Levin swished his hand, quickly hiding his recognizable features with strong illusions.

“Is somebody there?” He called innocently.

“Hell if I know. He seemed ready to go and then all of a sudden he prances off and leaves me in charge. I’m not a team manager type. I’m not one for group projects, and he stuck me with the spot.” Mathias grumbled. “He’s been acting weird, but I don’t nose around his business if he doesn’t nose around mine.” He shrugged.

Levin’s eyes danced for a moment as he realized exactly he had run into. Rather than some random camper to ambush, this girl fit the exact description of Phoenix. The untapped power there could be more than useful to the cause. He had to play his cards right.
“Oh, thank goodness! I thought I was all alone out here! It’s embarrassing but…I think I might be lost. I was trying to cut through, but I realized I was walking way father than I should have. I’m an awful navigator, I guess.” He faked a sheepish tone before he asked. “Ah…can I ask what you’re doing out here, miss? Do you live out here?”

Echo started towards the Aphrodite table, glancing over at Mathias, “Weird how? Did something happen?” She asked, slowing her pace. Nathaniel was always a lot smarter in his battle plans, it was what made the Ares cabin tough to beat, much to the annoyance of the Athena cabin. This last Capture the Flag game was the first time in a while for Ares to lose. “He’s not normally so distracted.” She commented.

Phoenix narrowed her eyes at the stranger, there was no way this was just some ordinary mortal. They couldn’t be this close to the camp border without it stopping them. “Who are you? And what are you doing all the way out here?” She asked cautiously, taking a step back.

“Are you and Nathaniel close?” Echo asked, catching his tone of voice at the end, “I know that most of the campers here are close to their half siblings, but there are some cases where they hate each other. Just take a look at my own cabin, half the time my siblings are at each other’s throats.” She said, crossing her arms and giving a sigh.

Phoenix stayed silent for a moment, unsure on how to respond to this guy. She watched him for a second before saying anything, “You’re crazy, there’s no wall there. If this is some mime act, you’re pretty terrible at it.” She said. If this really was some random mortal, she couldn’t just straight up tell him this was some secret camp for children of the gods. Phoenix needed to direct him back to the road and away from the border. “If you continue down that way, there’s a road that’ll lead back to the city. Maybe someone driving by will pick you up.” She pointed in the direction of the road.

“Don’t worry. Whatever’s bothering him, I’m sure he’ll get over it soon.” Echo said with a sigh. It was probably nothing, she couldn’t go around jumping to conclusions, “If he wants to talk, he’ll come to you.”

Phoenix frowned at him, stepping a bit closer, “It’s not that hard to find, just keep going straight. What makes you think I want to go wandering around with a stranger myself?” She said.

Sweat dripped down Blaze's face as his work continued on making new shields for the camp armory. He wanted to be sure that they would hold up with his new design as each one was properly hand-crafted by himself. Nothing was overlooked as even a smallest imperfection would throw off the balance of the shield, literal and figuratively. He gave out a long, but satisfying grunt as he lifted the celestial bronze shield with a hint of a smile. Blaze pushed himself up out of a red soot covered wheeling chair and walked the new shield over to his now small collection of replica shields. Despite not many campers still remaining at the camp, he always wanted to be prepared in case the camp borders failed for whatever reason.
His time within the Forge was one that brought hard work and happiness, but sometimes involved frustration. Today was a good day and he was glad to come out of the Forge with a smile on his face.

After a whole episode of his mind and body playing games with him, Shadow was perfectly fine to not worry about stress for a few days. His mind had run rampant over the thoughts that intruded throughout his brain. Finally, he was able to silence them for a few hours after giving into some meditation technique that Chiron had told him about. For now, he enjoyed the sunshine that came down on camp. His back was leaning against the steps into the Hades cabin, his eyes closed as the sunlight soaked into his slightly pale skin.

Josie was feeling more anxious every day, the idea of a traitor walking around camp wouldn't put anyone's mind at ease. That, and what Shadow said and the secret they'd all promised to make wasn't doing anything to help. Currently, the daughter of Zeus was sitting at her table in the dining pavilion, staring at her half-full plate of food and scraping her fork against her plate. The brunette sighs softly and finally sets her fork down, leaning back and stretching her arms high in the air. Josie eventually gets up, discards the rest of her food, and starts to make her way towards the training area. If she couldn't eat, she might as well try and get some training in. 

Claude laid in the top bunk of one of the beds inside the Hermes cabin, throwing a rubber ball against the ceiling and catching it whenever it comes back down. Things seemed to have calmed down since the incident in the forest, and though he knew there had been more question than answers, Claude didn't seem to be bothered. He felt it would be a waste of energy to worry about things they had no idea about. The counselors and Chiron were probably coming up with solutions on their own. 

Juniper was where she usually was, lounging on the beach with an old issue of a magazine, sunglasses on and a floppy hat to further block the sun from her view. She flipped through the pages languidly, chewing on her lower lip as her eyes avert from the pages to the beach, waiting to see if anyone interesting was around. 

Hey, Rainy!! I was hoping you would come back! ^.^ I’m currently on vacation right now, so idk how often I’ll be on this week. We just got back to the hotel and we’ve been walking since 8 this morning x.x)

Oh man they do lol. We have three more days of it too lol, but totally worth it.)
