Echo was in the stables, grooming the Pegasi. It was getting close to lunchtime and she wanted to try and finish her chores quickly so she could go eat, having skipped breakfast earlier.
Phoenix sat outside the forge, sharpening her sword. She sighed, starting to grow bored now that she had finished most of her projects. Maybe she just needed something else to do to keep her busy.

He tends not to run face first into conflict, instead preferring to plot and scheme from the sidelines before going in for the kill. He's good at deceiving people. || Levin has the ability to create Illusions and uses them to fuel his schemes and plans. He also has some levels of magic control, mostly with Teleportation. He will escape if things are going bad. || Levin carries around daggers, sometimes coated with poison or traces of magic. || Levin grew up being ostracized for his abilities, and was left at Camp Halfblood as soon as he was able to be. Feeling abandoned by the people he had wanted love from the most, Levin learned to survive on his own, and grew to hate his Godly mother, vowing to grow stronger than her. Mathias leaned up against the columns that held up the stables, having noticed Echo within the walls again. She was always on the move it seemed, and he couldn't help but want to hear her voice. "Having fun there? I think your winged friend there is probably better groomed than half the camp at this point now." He mused. Kyo carried around some of the spare metal, slipping out a soft curse in his native tongue as a wince of discomfort spread from his nearly fully healed wounds. Only scars remained now, but the phantom pains of being impaled still annoyed him from time to time. He stopped as he noticed Phoenix. Tilting his head curiously, he called through the screen door. "Everything going alright out there?...You seem quiet, today." Usually he was the quiet one, so not hearing her voice recently had begun to cause concern. Evelyn and Lloyd were talking together in the kitchen, discussing their favorite dessert recipes. Sasha and Rosaline were training together in the training hall, the lucky woman causing some annoyance to the competitive daughter of Nike. |

I didn’t take you for the type to ride them.” She said, putting the tools away.
Phoenix looked over at Kyo and gave a shrug, “I’m fine. Just a bit bored. What about you? Your wounds still acting up?” She asked, having heard him curse earlier. She might not know his mother language, but she knew Kyo enough to recognize the tone of his voice.

"No. I don't tend to ride horses or a winged one at that. Not much my style. But, I would happily take out some tracking dogs. Or a hunting dog. Any dog, really. Those are more my speed." He turned to look at Echo again. "Bit of a perfectionist, are we?" He teased. "A bit." Kyo sighed, placing the metal down on a nearby counter. His hand reached towards his stomach, pressing gently against the red fabric. "It's not painful, but...it feels weird sometimes. Like something is still in there when I know it's not. Phantom pains. That sort of thing..." He quieted a bit, before he finally spoke again, soft and curious. "Bored? Hm...maybe there's something to do with the other cabins. I'm not the most social person, so I'm probably not the best at finding things to do...but I'm sure you'll find something." |

Echo arched an eyebrow at him, “Something wrong with making sure everything is done right?” She asked, washing her hands at a water faucet. She felt her stomach grumble again and gave a sigh. She needed to go and get some food.
“Try not to push yourself too much.” Phoenix said with a slight frown. She turned her head and looked around the camp, seeing the activity going on around them. “Maybe I’ll go for a walk soon. I’m sure I’ll find something to do.

"Nothing wrong. It's admirable, even. Even the strongest of Warriors have a common respect for the animals that help them fight." Mathias humored, before he frowned slightly at her grumbling stomach. "You haven't eaten yet, have you? Come on now, even you know that eating enough is crucial. Up, get up. We're getting you something to eat." He motioned for her to finish up her task.
"I promise you, I'll be alright." Kyo assured, offering his sister a small smile, before he followed her gaze and hummed. "That might be a good idea...but just be careful. Who knows when the next invasion of monsters could occur? I...I'm still weary that one happened in the first place. Who or what allowed them in?" He murmured.

“Alright, alright.” Echo said, drying her hands off, “I didn’t have time for breakfast this morning.” She said, leaving the stables. “I was planning on going to the dining pavilion afterwards anyways.”
Phoenix gave Kyo a light smile, “Relax. It’s not like I’m going outside of camp.” She said, standing up, “And there’s plenty of other campers around too, so if we did get attacked, I won’t be alone.”

"I knew it." Mathias snorted, walking along near her before he lifted his arms leisurely to his head, glancing towards her. "If there's one thing in this world I'll never miss, it's a meal. The food here is never as spicy as I like it to be, but I guess that's expected." He huffed, before turning his head. "Don't overwork yourself too much, or I'll beat you easily in a spar."
"I know, I know. I worry too much." Kyo admitted lightly, before he smiled back at her. "Have fun then. Maybe you can find out what happened during the Capture the Flag. With your abilities and everything."

"Don't think for a moment that I would ever intend to lose to anyone, even you, Echo. A pretty face won't distract me." Mathias spoke boldly, yet a hint of sly teasing filled his graveled voice. He had never been one to be nervous to initiate flirting, yet he felt a strange reluctance to act around her how he usually felt around others he found attractive. For now, he walked on, slipping past her to hold open the Dining Hall door. "After you." He invited.
"It was once, and it was an accident!" Kyo called after her, trying to sound stern but only succeeding in sounding exasperated instead. He watched Phoenix go for a moment, unease stirring in his gut, before he finally returned to carrying the metal.
