Don't worry Ice! Each of us got stuff we got to take care of. Just glad we can continue RPing  ) Blaze shook his head with a smile as he also took a glance toward Echo. "More like a lot of luck," Blaze snickered. "Not bad, worked a little in the forge this morning, but I got tired of the routine. Figured I needed a change for a little while." He slid Eclipse into his stealth before sitting down and leaned his back against the stands. "I also heard you had a busy day, caring for one of the underworld kids?" Blaze asked curiously. Despite not much for gossip, Blaze liked to be well-informed even if he wasn't his cabin's leader. |

Echo finished her morning training routine and sheathed her swords. She glanced around the arena, noticing Kumiko talking with Blaze. She spotted Mathias not too far from where she had been practicing and started over to him, “How’s the training going?” She asked as she approached. Phoenix had left the forge, deciding to go for a walk. She had a slight frown on her face as she started walking towards the forest, preferring the quiet of the trees over the activity in camp. Now that she had finished the project she had been working on, Phoenix’s thoughts had once again turned back to the night of Capture the Flag and the strange surge of power that had come from her. Phoenix gave a sharp shake of her head to try and clear the thoughts, she just needed another project to distract herself, that’s all. “As well as it always does.” Mathias grunted in response, though his eyes flickered over to Echo, eyeing her as he tended to do at times. It was hard not to, with everything about her being so appealing. He had fancied her for a long time, yet he found himself unable to approach her like most others he had spent long nights with. He knew it was more than some one-time fling he desired, and the thought nearly...frightened him, for the first time he could remember. He swallowed, turning to face her. “What brings you to my corner, groin kicker?” He snorted, still remembering her cheap shot. Lyra crossed her arms as she watched Pheonix from a distance, her eyes narrowing. Nathanial’s plan to bring monsters to attack the camp had not gone on so perfectly, though she admittedly did not know all that went on in the son of Ares’ head. |

James ambled into the mess tapping his walking stick around, making sure he didn't run into anything. As he walked he could hear his half-sister Evelyn talking and tried walking towards the voice.

Kumiko gave a shrug, “Yeah. He didn’t much healing attention though, we just had a bit of chat.” She said, leaning back on her elbows, “It was mostly just power exhaustion, so he just needed a bit of ambrosia and nectar along with a bit of rest.”
Echo gave a slight grin at the nickname, “Well, I came to apologize actually. I’m sorry, that was a low blow.” She said, “but you do have to admit it was a smart move.” Echo pointed out.
Phoenix paused and looked around, getting the feeling she was being watched. She narrowed her eyes and placed her hand on her sword, listening for any sounds.

"Unless you count my talent of forging and my handsome looks for a child of the deformed god," Blaze said with a smirk. "I don't know much about powers." For the time being, Blaze had decided that a little secrecy with his discovery of pyrokinesis would stay between his siblings and Frances. "Hopefully injuries don't start up because we definitely don't need that," Blaze said as his head turned back to the training area. Echo was no longer alone as he saw her talking with Mathias.

James ambled into the mess tapping his walking stick around, making sure he didn't run into anything. As he walked he could hear his half-sister Evelyn talking and tried walking towards the voice. “Oh, James! You came just in time! I just made some scones, saved you a few.” Evelyn smiled as she noticed her half-brother coming into the dining hall. She lifted her voice so he could hear her clearly. “James, darling, you look well!” Rosaline tutted, the compliment meaningful as she crossed her ankles over eachother pristinely. |

Salem had nearly killed Kyo with her stunt, and it had caused an eruption of power from his half-sister that had not been expected. Clearly she was an interesting case. Maybe they could see that power again. She stepped out of her spot, approaching Pheonix. “Pheonix?” She asked innocently. “I thought I heard someone out here. Guess it was just you, huh?” |

“Sure. I wouldn’t mind a little more training.” Echo said, drawing her swords and getting ready, “And this time I promise I won’t go for the groin.” She added with a grin.
Phoenix jumped as Lyra came out, “Oh, Lyra, it’s you.” She said, blinking in surprise, “Yeah, I was just going for a walk. What are you doing out here?”

Turning his attention back to Kumiko, a face of worry setting in on Blaze as he leaned forward to rest his arms on his thighs. "Are you doing okay?" Although he asked a similar question before, the intent of this one was more rooted in Kumiko's state.

Gods, he felt like a child, mooning over another person. He stretched his arms, letting the resulting ache soothe him as he finally responded. “Don’t worry. Neither will I. So. Swords or fists?” He asked. “Practicing.” Lyra answered simply with a small smile, lifting her hands to show off a rainbow of light and color extending from her hands. “It’s really interesting how light works, how it can be manipulated. Definitely not as cool as that fire that you and your brothers can use though.” She humored airily. |

“Hmm?” Kumiko turned her head towards Blaze at his question, “Oh, I’m fine. I’ve got plenty of energy to keep me going.” She said, giving a smile, “Luckily a couple of the Hecate kids offered to help with some of the injured.”
“Swords will be fine.” Echo said, taking a few steps back, “You want the first move?” She offered.
“I guess it’s okay.” Phoenix said, giving a shrug, “But what you do is pretty cool too. It’s not as destructive as my fire is, that’s for sure.”

Show me what you got, Charmspeak.” His lips quirked at the nickname, hoping she’d meet his banter. “Good for some tricks in battle, but no burns.” Lyra hummed thoughtfully before she looked at her. “You know, I respect a person who protects their own. I hear that you blew a major gasket when Salem broke the rules. How’s the little flame doing by the way? Healed up, I hope?” She asked innocently, wanting more information. |

"Well that's good," Blaze said, returning the smile to her, "because you're one of our best healers." Before he could see her reaction, he turned his head to see Mathias and Echo oppose one another with swords raised. This was going to be a good fight especially after what had happened in the last Capture the Flag. A rematch, of sorts. "No way in Hades does she lose this fight" Blaze said with a smirk.

Kumiko looked over at Echo and Mathias and gave a light grin, “I don’t know. I think they’re both pretty equally matched.” She said.

"Enough to know that you're not above taking a low shot. Good. Combat is brutal. We've no time for honor in true battle." He moved then, fast for his stronger build, swinging the sword towards her side. "I was told that you practically exploded!" Lyra exclaimed, feigning a sense of awe and wonder. "I only got the details from listening to Salem and her cackles, but apparently you certainly showed off your father's powers pretty well! I'm glad the little fox is back on his feet. He fixes my daggers sometimes." Lyra praised. |

Brennan thought about it for a few minutes. "Not that I can think of. But let me check my schedule." He said. The male pulled a small notebook out of his pocket. It was kept closed by a pen clipped to the side, and on the first page was written in handwriting "CHB Planner". He flipped through few pages. "I have training soon, but I'm free for about 20-25 minutes." He said and closed the notebook, putting it back in his pocket. "Is there anything you have to do?" He asked.

Echo quickly brought her swords up and blocked the attack, only just managing to keep her footing from Mathias’ swing. She pushed with her swords, trying to shove him away from her and making a move to counter attack.
Phoenix rubbed her arm awkwardly, “I didn’t exactly ‘blow up’.” She muttered, looking away from Lyra. At least, she didn’t think she did.
