I am back from vacation (Disney World) and it was fantastic to get away from my house/city. Oh my goodness I'm so glad we took it. Trust me, WDW was cleaner and more regulated than most places in my city. I got to spend some time with some friends who I surprised being down there lol I told them I was going hiking with my family XD) Icefire15 I really like your new profile pic!) Shadow stared at the floor of the stables, trying to scramble the words together into a coherent phrase without sounding like a complete sap. "Besides that, my godly parent, my past, and the fact that I have no idea how to interact with someone in that situation. Nah I think I'm good," Shadow muttered sarcastically, mostly at himself. |

Brennan tilted his head, and looked like he was thinking deeply. "You know...I could...perhaps....persuade her to take it into consideration." he told him with a small hum. "Kind of, y'know, push her your way a bit, put in a good word for you." he said. He wasn't sure how well his idea would work, but it would be worth the try. "We may not be close...but I don't think Echo would turn her back on someone who's been good to her Cabinmate." he suggested. "If you're okay with it, of course."

Shadow whirled around to stare at Brennan, a true look of fear on his face. "No! Please no!" Shadow exclaimed. Quickly, he reassembled himself and just wove his hand in the air as he turned his head away. "Sorry, I just don't know if that's the best option. I may not have regular siblings, but it might feel a little odd and desperate coming from her sibling." Everything in his body except his mind was telling Brennan to go ahead with that plan, yet he didn't want to ruin any chance because of outside help.

Brennan was a bit surprised at how quick Shadow's head whipped around to look at him. He smiled gently though, he took no offense to Shadow not wanting to help, it had just been a suggestion, after all. "That's alright, that's why I asked permission first." he told him, the same smile still on his face. "I understand if you want to do it on your own, it's no biggie." he reassured him. "But if you ever do change your mind, please, don't be afraid to ask." he said, and gave him a bit more of a serious look. "I mean it. I'm always open to helping others."

By the time Brennan had finished Shadow had turned his back to him, not wanting him to see the disappointment. Despite wanting help, there was no way Echo would want any push. "Let's finish up here. I think the pegasi have had enough of my presence," Shadow muttered as he watched a few of the other pegasi back away from the area. "Plus I need to see if I can return to camp duties." He raised a hand twirling it in a sarcastic fashion.

I’m just going to make some starters.)
Phoenix was putting some last minute touches on the automaton bird she had been working on, planning on doing some tests after she finished with the wiring. Smiling proudly, she shut the panel and stepped back, looking it over to make sure she hadn’t missed anything.
Echo was in the training area, practicing her sword work, not wanting to slack off like some of her other siblings. If there truly was a traitor in the camp, she wanted to be prepared for anything.
Kumiko worked quietly on her arrows, watching from the stands as Echo practiced. She grinned as she finished her latest one and inspected it, excited to try it out.

After taking a long breakfast with eggs, bacon, waffles, sausage, and some orange juice in his goblet, Blaze headed toward the Hephaestus' cabin with an itching to get some training in. With the rumor that a traitor was here, a decision to be ready in combat was just as important as other tasks. He ducked back into his cabin and walked up to his bunk in the wall. He entered his passcode into the wall and a bed folded down from the wall. Setting on a stand was his sword, Eclipse, a celestial bronze sword that he had made some special modifications to. He grabbed the weapon and stealth before resetting his bed back against the wall.
Quickly, Blaze walked toward the arena, tossing nods toward campers who wandered about. He slipped right hand into his pocket as he walked into the area, his left hand carrying Eclipse. Casually, his eyes searched over the training area as he wondered what to start with. He noticed Kumiko sitting up in the stands with some arrows and Echo practicing her own sword work. He gave a "hmph" through his lips as he definitely was not warmed up enough to challenge Aphrodite's child.

Heyo. Sorry I disappeared last night.)
Echo slashed the head off of one of the dummies with her right sword before turning and striking another one with her left. Spotting Blaze, she gave the son of Hephaestus a nod of greeting before continuing with her training exercise.
Kumiko gave a wave to Blaze as he came into the training area, giving him a warm smile.

Blaze gave a wave of his free hand to both of the girls before pulling Eclipse from his stealth. He gave a quick twirl of the sword before using an unorthodox method of a slice from side-to-side. He took a half-step forward as he brought his blade from the bottom right to the top left position. He practiced a few blocks, then mimicked a few dodges and rolls. His breathing was a little more labored than he originally thought but he had been spending a lot of time working in the forge and hanging out with Frances.

((I am so sorry I haven't been active! My computer isn'tin working condition, and I don't get on the forums on my phone much. I will start being active again soon!))
Brennan tilted his head, and patted one of the horse's necks. "That's alright." He told him, setting a bucket down. "I'm just about finished here. I'll walk back with you." He told him, stepping up beside the older male. "I hope they don't give you anything too tough to start back with."

( Icefire15) With nothing left to practice on a non-moving target, Blaze wiped the sweat rolling down his face with a small towel that he had brought with him. He took a few moments to rest up and get some water from a bottle. He stared down at his sword, Eclipse, with a weary smile. Although he hadn't gotten the chance to test Eclipse on a quest, it had been with hims since he built the weapon in his second year of camp. Giving one big sigh before willing his body to rise. He took his time in approaching the stands where Kumiko was seated. "So what dirt can you tell me on Echo? How do I beat her?" Blaze joked. "How's your morning gone?" ________________ Shadow moved his way through the stables until he pushed his way out into the open air. He gave off a sigh of annoyance as he glanced in the Big House's direction. If there was one place that he hated being in, then that was the place. Despite the Oracle of Delphi no longer inhibiting the mummy upstairs, he still felt odd even for a child of Hades. Plus Seymour was such an attention-seeking wall mount. "Is there anything along the way that you got to do?" Shadow asked trying to avoid starting up duties again. |

Mathias situated himself in the training grounds as he did every morning, hands and feet striking like bullets as he struck at one of the training dummies. Nothing was better than some good old hand combat. As the hour passed on, he seemed nowhere close to slowing down or stopping, ignoring the faint strain building in his muscles. He had learned long ago to thrive on that pain, that pressure. Evelyn and Rosaline were chatting in the dining hall, both girls seeming to share a plate of scones that Evelyn had made. Lloyd was on a run around the lake, enjoying the cool air. Kyo hummed thoughtfully as he wound together a few pieces of metal, fusing them together with an intense spark of fire from his finger. He glanced over at the old clock he was fixing, still enamored by its antique design and rare parts. Inwardly, he wondered if Pheonix was doing alright. |

Echo finished her morning training routine and sheathed her swords. She glanced around the arena, noticing Kumiko talking with Blaze. She spotted Mathias not too far from where she had been practicing and started over to him, “How’s the training going?” She asked as she approached.
Phoenix had left the forge, deciding to go for a walk. She had a slight frown on her face as she started walking towards the forest, preferring the quiet of the trees over the activity in camp. Now that she had finished the project she had been working on, Phoenix’s thoughts had once again turned back to the night of Capture the Flag and the strange surge of power that had come from her. Phoenix gave a sharp shake of her head to try and clear the thoughts, she just needed another project to distract herself, that’s all.
