Jace sat on the dock, swinging his legs over the edge. After being at camp for a few years, things started to get boring. Especially after the whole, "I'm a half-blood" thing wears off. It's not like being a half-blood was that special anyways. There were probably thousands of them around the world, even if they didn't know it. What bothered him most about being half-blood was the fact that his father had cheated on his own wife. He brought his hands up to his face and lied his back down on the dock. "Ugh..." He groaned. [Open] -------------------- Ryver walked aimlessly around camp. He was currently debating whether he wanted to train with weapons or do literally any other activity. Training was probably the better option, but he'd already trained a lot in the past few days and his muscles were beginning to ache. All this walking probably wasn't helping his aching muscles either. He decided to stop near a tree and stand there to continue his thinking. [Open] -------------------- Will sat on the steps to the Dionysus kids cabin, tapping his hands on his knees. He wanted to talk to somebody, but who? He couldn't think of many people who wanted to talk to him. Probably had to do with how weird he usually came off as. He tucked a lose strand of hair behind his ear and got up from the step. His feet eventually led him to the climbing wall. Will stared up at it before beginning to climb up. [Open] (Hola. I'm gonna repost my starters real quick.) |

Mathias pressed his hands to his face as a heavy sigh escaped him. Once more, he was thinking about the botched time he had spent with Echo. The argument they had hadn’t brought any kind of satisfaction. If anything, it made the troubled Ares son even more conflicted and self-sabotaging. Relationships were far more frightening than any battle, and he couldn’t imagine how he’d be anything better than a body for pleasure.
Additionally, his outing with Nathanial had been oddly off-putting. Fighting monsters with his half-brother was not the issue, but more so how well Nathanial seemed to know his way around, as if he had been in that scenario dozens of times. It didn’t help that Capture the Flag would be back soon, and he dreaded the idea of ever having to lead a team after Nathanial had bailed the last time.

Phoenix huffed and continued with her work, she had never been a big fan of the whole power envy some of the other campers seemed to have. "Look, powers are great and all, but they're dangerous if you don't use them correctly." She said sharply, raising the blade up from the anvil to inspect it. Satisfied that she had fixed all of the kinks and chips in the blade, she dropped it in the bucket of water next to her. "You mess around with something you have no control of and you're bound to hurt yourself or someone else. Powers aren't just some cool party trick that you can use to show off to your friends you know." “And yet when face to face with a monster, who is more likely to survive? The one who can strike with lightning, the one who can create flames unlike any other?” Levin inquired with a thoughtful hum, looking right at Phoenix as he smiled. “Or the Hebe boy out there, Lloyd? Who’s only defense he has is a young face? Controllable or not, power is power, Phoenix. And it’s always the ones with the most of it who try and quiet the ones who desire some of it too.” He mused, turning to cross his arms leisurely behind his head with a chuckle. “But that’s just a thought, is all. Now you, you talked about lack of control. Are you sure it’s not just you lacking control? Fire’s got to be hard.” He crooned. |

Natasha sat at a bench, I’m front of the archery range, working on some arrowheads, sharpening them to dangerous points. Of course these were made of stones, and generally used for archery practice. But she enjoyed working on them and felt that it couldn’t hurt to be good at it, in case she had to make her own weapons.
Jared was on his way to the training grounds, passing past the archery range on his way. He passed by Nat, reaching out and grabbing one of the arrowheads to inspect it. “This looks terrible..”he snorted, looking at her, a small grin tugging at the corners of his mouth. It was actually pretty well made, but he generally gained pleasure from making unsolicited comments.
Nat tilted her head up to look at him,”I mean, feel free to stand as a target, and then we’ll talk about how terrible they really are,”she stated, arching an eyebrow at him. Her voice had a challenge but it was evident that she wasn’t truly threatening anything but banter. She knew fully well that he was teasing her and didn’t mind his attempt to rile her up.
(I’m going to make starters for Christian and Spencer in a bit, because I gotta get to class. But I’ll leave this one here for now. Feel free to jump in anybody)

“I’d tell you go fix it, but I hear Hephaestus Cabin is having a nice day out.” Sasha slipped past Nat and Jared with a sly and smooth lilt to her voice. Her sword was drawn, spinning in her palm before she gripped it, ready to train. She glanced back once at them before she mused. “But I bet you could still use those little things to impress me, if you can hit some bulls-eyes?” She challenged.

Nat looked up as Sasha neared them, tilting her head with a smile at her challenge. She stood up from the bench, looking up at Sasha as she twirled an arrowhead between her fingers. “Do you mean just throwing them at the targets? Or using my arrows with these little guys?”she asked her, nodding to her bow and quiver of arrows that sat next to them on the bench. The arrow heads were long enough to be wielded as a small dagger if necessary. And she was fairly certain she could easily hit bull’s eyes throwing them too.
Jared raised an eyebrow at Sasha and scoffed”impress you? What about you? Can you hit some bull’s eyes?”he challenged back, crossing his arms in front of his chest, grey-blue eyes piercing as he looked her over. It was obvious enough to him that she was strong, and definitely trained a lot considering her lean and toned figure.
